Where to begin? From the initial meeting 11 months before our wedding, through the entire planning process through the menu tasting and the litany of emails of questions that got longer and longer the closer we got. Michael, Maggie and everyone at Ramsey Golf and Country Club somehow were able to take what we communicated and what we couldn’t even put into words, and gave us the wedding of our dreams. From the customized floor plan to the way that our table scapes went from an idea to the most elevated gorgeous thing I couldn’t even envision. I had high hopes, and higher expectations and Ramsey Golf & Country Club, at the direction of Michael, exceeded every one of them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most magical and perfect day of our lives.

Everything at Ramsey Golf and Country Club was AMAZING! The staff are all so attentive and nice. Michael made everything stress free and run smoothly. The food was a hit. multiple guest said it was the best food they every had at a wedding. Also the country club is beautiful. We loved our day so much and would choose RGCC again and again!

Describing our experience with Ramsey Country Club as amazing and wonderful doesn’t seem to capture how magnificent our wedding/ experience was! Michael, Maggie, Dennis, Louis and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. From our first visit with Michael, all our communications to reschedule with the pandemic and working with him the day of were perfect. Although we looked at other venues, Micheal made us feel like part of the country club family from the first meeting.

Michael responded quickly to communication, was so helpful with suggestions, calm the day of and kept the day moving seamlessly. Our guests were so complimentary of the delicious food and beautiful grounds. The menu was exactly what we tasted and picked.

Michael and his assistants were with us the whole time and really made it a special day. The Sweetheart table was never empty. Michael and his team were very attentive, quick and easy to get ahold of, they were accommodating with schedules and keeping our vision. The entire day was ours.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Ramsey Golf and Country Club in September 2021. They were so flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Michael was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. He went above and beyond to address our COVID safety concerns and make our guests feel comfortable. Our day went perfectly because of Michael and Maggie! We felt like we truly got to enjoy our day because they took such good care of us, like by checking in as we got ready and bringing us food during the reception. On top of all that, the venue is gorgeous! The ceremony area, patio and ballroom are beautiful spaces. I highly recommend booking this venue!

Ramsey Golf and Country Club is a beautiful venue but the people make it the best location for your wedding. The maitre d Michael is charismatic, kind, and attentive. He answered my endless emails quickly and was always a huge help. On the day of our wedding, Michael and his assistant Maggie were amazing. They set up all of our decor exactly as I wanted, brought us hors d’oeuvres to a private room to make sure we got some time alone, and organized a magical sparkler send off. when we asked if my bridesmaid could pick up our decor the next morning, he offered to even pack it into her car! The venue is so unique and is beautiful both outside and inside. My favorite part is the glass atrium ballroom and I loved the addition of a tent outside for cocktail hour (there are two other rooms guest can go in as well). They are very affordable, too. We did the cocktail style reception package which included food stations, cocktail hour passed appetizers, an open bar, and huge Venetian dessert table. You don’t have to pay for any guests that aren’t able to make it at the last minute, which is great. They also were so accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding from July 2020 to July 2021. I know other brides who had to fight with their venue to get a new date, but Michael just said to tell him when I wanted it and made it happen, along with making our minimum guest count flexible. Truly unbelievable service from Michael and his team and you will not regret booking your wedding here!

If you want a stress free and perfect wedding, you have to check out this place. Excellent food and service. The Maitre D and assistants insure everything is taken care of, to perfection. Best cocktail hour. All my guests were surprised at the amount of food. They do an amazing job for the ceremony as well. Very knowledgeable to help in various planning needs.

Michael and his crew go above and beyond to make sure you have the best day possible! Michael truly makes sure your wedding is exactly what you want it to be from the smallest details all the way through. Ramsey is a beautiful setting and makes you feel like you're in an old castle. The photos we were able to get are stunning. I could go on and on with great things to say!

I can't put into words how helpful, responsive and cool and collected our Maitre D Michael was throughout the entire process. We did not need to hire a wedding planner or Day of Coordinator because he and his staff took care of literally everything from showing the photographers the best places for photographs, to setting up all of our decor (even re-purposing cocktail hour decor into reception space decor) to making sure my hubby and I received samples of all of the hor dourves in a private room after our ceremony, to working with our budget and relatively lower (100 guests) guest count. Additionally, all of our guests cleaned their plates! I would hands down recommend this venue to anyone looking in the Northern NJ area

My daughter recently had her wedding at the Ramsey Country Club. Michael Treible, Director of Catering is amazing. From the moment we met him we knew he was going to make Amanda & Tom's wedding magnificent. He is extremely professional. Kind and very concerned about what our specific needs were. He gave great guidance in all aspects of the wedding. From the menu planning to the seating, color scheme etc.. and was extremely accommodating to all the vendors we hired. Since the wedding was in July we chose an outdoor wedding which was absolutely breathtaking. It happened to be over 100 degrees on the wedding day; Michael had every guest stay inside the country club and opened the bar early for us to keep our guest cool and very happy! 10 minutes before the ceremony he escorted all the guests to the outdoor shaded platform for the wedding to begin right on time. The grounds of the country club are stunning and beautifully maintained. Many of guests commented on how beautiful and private everything was. They only do one venue at a time which incredible. The country club just glows. Everyone on Michael's staff including Maggie his assistant did everything possible to make the day stress free. The first thing Michael said to us was "this is your day and we want you to enjoy every minute" ...and we did. Beyond our expectations. Thank you Michael. You are incredible at your job and it was a pleasure working with you to make Amanda & Tom's dream day come true !

After an extensive search of the tri-state area, my daughter and son-in-law chose the Ramsey Golf & Country Club for their wedding. It met all of their criteria. There is only one wedding each day. It offers a stunning setting for either an outdoor or an indoor ceremony. The reception area is lovely, with additional attached outdoor space available, weather permitting. The fireplace and piano in the abbey add nice accents to the cocktail hour. The grounds offer several beautiful options for photos. The food was absolutely amazing! All of our guests raved about the quality, quantity and presentation. The menu choices were extensive and the food tasting experience was wonderful. Choosing the menu was a simple process with one price including five stations and ten passed hors d'oeurves at cocktail hour. The risotto station was a real hit! Dinner entrees were all excellent, making it difficult to choose the three selections. Dessert is also included, with many choices, as well as trays of chocolate covered strawberries on each table. We particularly enjoyed entree orders taken at the tables at the wedding, rather than needing to include these on the wedding invitations and track them in advance. The most important factor in this being the perfect wedding venue is Michael Treible, the Catering Manager/Maitre d. He was exceptional throughout the planning process. There was no need for a wedding planner. He provided excellent recommendations for vendors and coordinated with all of the them. He is involved through every detail. He is very calm, organized, flexible and has a great sense of humor, providing for a stress-free wedding experience. He was extremely responsive to all requests and promptly replied to our e-mails and phone calls. On the day of the wedding, he orchestrated every detail flawlessly. I definitely agree with all other reviewers that he is a natural for his role! I cannot imagine a better venue for a wedding.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with choosing Ramsey Golf & Country Club as our Wedding Venue! Throughout the planning process, Michael, the venue’s Wedding Coordinator couldn’t have made the process easier or less stressful. He was quick to reply to my MANY emails and gave a lot of helpful suggestions, was very accommodating with helping to add all the personal touches we wanted and was overall a pleasure to work with. The day of he and his assistant, Maggie, were amazing at attending to our every need to alleviate any possible stress and ensuring our guests were having the best time. Not to mention the food is delicious and the ballroom/ceremony area/outdoor cocktail space couldn’t have been a better backdrop. I would highly recommend RG&CC as it truly is a “hidden gem” of a venue!

Wow is truly all I have to say about this incredible place. The second we saw the space, we knew it was the right place for our wedding. It has a beautiful stone abbey that was symbolic of a castle, which I've always wanted and a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space. All of the food was excellent beyond measure and the staff was on point all night. Anything you need, they were there 2 minutes before we asked for it. The fact that they wanted us to have our ceremony outside despite and unexpected change in weather and knowing it's importance to us was amazing. Michael went above and beyond and so did the bridal attendant, Maggie. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a rustic, yet elegant vibe for their wedding.

We had an excellent experience during our June wedding at RGCC. We were on the hunt for a beautiful venue in northern NJ, where we could have an outdoor ceremony, the venue to ourselves, but not break the bank. Ramsey worked out perfectly. Though we luckily had lovely weather, their indoor ceremony area was also very pretty. Michael was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He answered all our questions and also gave us excellent vendor recommendations in the area. The food was great, the flow from ceremony to indoor/outdoor cocktail area was perfect, and the ballroom itself had lovely large windows, and everyone at RGCC did everything they could to help make the day truly special. For our handicapped guests they even took them around in a golf cart to avoid the stairs.

Ramsey Golf and Country Club has exceeded all our expectations for our wedding from beginning to end. From the first meeting with Michael to the wedding day, Michael was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. After our final meeting two days before the wedding, we felt comfortable and confident that everything would be as we envisioned.

The day of could not have gone any smoother. Michael was attentive to us throughout the reception and was very personable with our guests. We also had one of Michaels’ assistants, Maggie, who helped me with anything that I needed.

Service and the staff were outstanding and the food was delicious. A month later, guests still rave about the amount and quality of the food! One thing we also LOVED about Ramsey Golf and County Club was that we had a private room to enjoy some of the hors d'oeuvres from cocktail hour before joining our guests half way through. It was great to have some alone time with each other (hard to do on your wedding day!) and to have a chance to enjoy the amazing food!

You will not be disappointed at RG & CC. The venue itself is awesome - it rained during our ceremony, so we had to do it inside, and we were just as excited about doing it inside as would’ve been about doing it outside. (The grounds are awesome, too! IMHO, the photos do not do it justice.) The food is fantastic, and there’s a lot of it! I got so many compliments about the cocktail hour, which upheld the highest standards of NJ cocktail hours.

And then, there’s Michael. From before the wedding, to during and after the wedding, Michael has everything under control - so you, especially if you’re anxious like me, can relax. Before the wedding, he’ll patiently explain how everything will happen, reply to email faster than the speed of light, and handle vendor requests. During the wedding, he’s there from the time you arrive (like making sure you have lunch and mimosas when you’re getting ready), helping run the rehearsal, to making sure you and your new husband or wife eat during cocktail hour and helping your bridesmaids find their missing cellphones. I literally did not have to worry about anything for the whole day, and it all came out better than I imagined. One of my bridesmaids, who does not live in NJ, even mused that she was thinking of planning a wedding at RG & CC because of how awesome it was!

The beauty and elegance for the most reasonable cost, without sacrificing any value offered! This venue was a dream come true for our wedding day! The most magical experience, even on a limited budget. Mike is second to none! Always responded quickly, helped with every small detail, and never made us feel rushed or stressed about any details. The day went by beautifully and flawlessly thanks to Mike!! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough positive things about our wedding - it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Looking for venues to begin with can be very stressful-especially when you're on a budget-but Michael made us feel comfortable from our very first meeting. He was more flexible and accommodating than I could have imagined, which made the Ramsey Country Club our first and only choice. Every step of the way he helped us to coordinate and plan, and on the day, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Michael and his assistant, Maggie, were an absolute dream. We had zero stress from the minute we stepped off our party bus. Another bonus was that our florist, bakery, photographer and DJ all knew Michael and were thrilled to be working with him again - that's a huge help for any bride. Most importantly, it was absolutely gorgeous! From the cocktail hour, to the ballroom, to the grounds themselves - I know every picture is going to be beautiful. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food-and there was plenty of it! We did food stations instead of a formal sit-down dinner, and that was such a great option to have since our guests could eat and party all night. They made accommodations for those with any food allergies and took care of all of those details in advance. We are so happy we chose the Ramsey Country Club as our venue and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, romantic, and fun place to have a wedding. We are so grateful to Michael and Maggie - you made our wedding day unforgettable!

Everything is top notch. This is a great venue rain or shine. The food is faboulous. What sets this venue apart is its attention to detail and Michael who runs the catering. He is professional and experienced yet open to new ideas and making sure that your vision comes to fruition.

The RG&CC was the first venue I visited while planning my wedding. After meeting Michael and touring the grounds I knew I didn't have to look anywhere else. First of all the venue is beautiful. It is definitely not your typical gaudy New Jersey venue. It is soft and romantic, straight out of a fairy tail! However what really sold us on this venue was the director of catering, Michael. From the moment we met with him he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was not pushy, but extremely open and informative, which I loved because you can tell this was not a business to him. He makes it a priority to make you feel like you're the only bride that matters, not just another number. I love that there is only event held at a time here because you know all of the staff is focused on yourself and your guests. The day of our wedding everything went extremely smooth. We were checked on constantly by Michael and his assistant Maggie. I was kept in the loop about everything that was going on with all of my vendors, I felt very comfortable knowing everything was going according to plan. The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception were all perfect. I could not have asked for a better day! My guests are still talking about the delicious food, the beautiful grounds, and the impecable service. Thank you so much to the RC&CC for making our dreams come true!

We are so happy that we chose Ramsey Golf and Country Club as our wedding venue. As soon as we met Michael we knew we had made the right decision. We only had about 5 months to plan everything and Michael was there for every step. He had set up a food tasting where our parents could attend and any dietary requests we had were accommodated. I also had many decorations and very particular ways I wanted them set up and Michael took his time to set it up as I had imagined. When I walked into the venue before the ceremony it took my breath away. The glass ceiling with all the votive candles and little lights made it seem like we were getting married under the stars! All throughout the night Michael was near by to assist and kept the timeline going smoothly. And the food! My guests were not only amazed how great it was but also how big the portions were. We also had chocolate covered strawberries that were served at each table which the guests loved. Our wedding day was perfect and there is no doubt that Michael and his team had a huge role in that!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at RGCC on 01/14/18. This was the most amazing wedding venue! Working with Michael was so easy and seamless from our very first tour. The space is totally unique and offers so many beautiful photo opportunities. The food tasting was so much fun, and every single thing we tasted was delicious. The night of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Michael and his team made sure that everything was set up exactly how I imagined, and all of the special events we had planned worked out flawlessly. The country club was truly the best place to make so many lasting memories with loved ones.

Michael and his team are amazing!! We looked at tons of venues in the New York, New Jersey, CT area but as soon as we saw the Ramsey Country Club we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. And they only do one wedding a night. After meeting with Michael and getting a tour we signed the contract immediately. Michael is super accommodating and knowledgeable. He knows the wedding business and is super helpful. He had so many great recommendations. In addition, he was very honest in terms of cost and everything was transparent and fair. We did not feel like we were walking in to a used car lot (we felt this way about several other venues and it was a complete turn off). We felt comfortable and at ease throughout the process at Ramsey Golf and Country club.

Before the day of the wedding we had a TON of communication with Michael. I had so many questions and concerns and Michael was super responsive to each of them.

The food was amazing!! And the place looked absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside and the grass was very green and the landscaping was perfect.

Ramsey Golf and Country Club made my wedding absolutely perfect. Michael and his team made everything flawless and easy from the very first time we went to the venue. Beyond how gorgeous the venue is, RGCC was the perfect place to host our wedding. The food was terrific (my guests couldn't stop raving about it!). I didn't have to worry about a thing all day. Prior to the wedding, Michael and RGCC made it easy to make this day unique and care-free. I can't recommend RGCC enough! Booking with RGCC was the best decision we made. Michael is nothing short of amazing! That man has an incredible way of calming down every nerve a bride could possibly have. His calm tone and demeanor just make you trust that he's got everything under control. And he absolutely did. Our wedding day was perfect. His assistants were incredible as well. Between the three of them, every moment of our wedding went smoothly. We had our ceremony there and they helped my very large bridal party walk down the aisle perfectly timed. We didn't have a rehearsal, so that was impressive. They took such great care of me and my husband all night. During photos, Michael even drove us on a golf cart to a far off location for a photo I just HAD to have! We were well taken care of from the moment we walked in that morning to the moment we left. They set up every etsy decoration I had purchased or made and had them boxed up and ready to go at the end of the night. They made wedding planning a breeze. They didn't have insane hidden charges like most other places and Michael had the attitude of "If it's here, you can use it." You can't beat that kind of service. He was also willing to work with our budget. Our November wedding was picture-perfect on the Ramsey grounds. It was a little bit chilly and they even handed out complimentary hot cocoa to our guests. The Ramsey Golf and Country Club was incredible! Mike was amazing! He was available, attentive, and very professional! The country club is elegant...the perfect place for a romantic reception! Our wedding was perfect! A total dream come true!

From the moment we stepped into the Ramsey, we not only fell in love with the place & scenery, but Michael Treible as well. The grounds are magnificent, truly a charming venue, with a rustic feel, beautiful ceremony area overlooking the lake, the reception room with a gorgeous atrium style ceiling. We had brought our parents for dinner there to test out the food and everything was delicious from the wine to the meal to the dessert, they were impressed (PS we are Italian & we are picky & specific.) From the moment I stepped on the grounds at Ramsey on my wedding day, I was treated like a queen (thank you Maggie). We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in October and it was everything I ever dreamed of and PICTURE PERFECT. Michael coordinated everything and the entire day was seamless. During the cocktail hour, I have a gluten allergy, and Michael had already set up all my requests gluten free for my husband and I in the bridal suite, we went up to cocktail hour and everything was set the way we requested, people were raving about the food. From there the reception, the timing, the lighting, the service, the food, to the cake cutting, to the very last dance was PERECTION I do not have one complaint. The entire night guests and even vendors were complimenting me on the venue & the food and saying it was the best wedding ever!!The Ramsey Golf & country Club along with Michael and his staff, brought all our visions into a reality, made all of our requests possible, it was a dream day, along with a very personalized experience. We just had our wedding here last week and it was AMAZING. From the staff to the venue to everything these guys provided it was above and beyond what we expected. Michael and his stuff could not have handled this wedding better. Not only was the staff amazing but they will work with you. Whatever you want for your special day they will make happen. I honestly am at loss of words of how great these people treat you! I would hands down recommend anyone to go here and have the best times of their lives!!!

Wow... I honestly don't know where to start.... I just got married at the RGCC this past weekend and it was absolutely a remarkable experience. Although I didn't get to eat much of the food because I was either socializing with guests or on the dance floor, I have heard a lot of great comments from my guests how delicious the food and how beautiful the place were. Michael and his team made sure that our my needs were taken care of. I am a person that usually worries about anything and everything, however, on my wedding day I didn't worry about anything.

I would recommend this place in a heart beat. Beautiful place, great food, and phenomenal staff.

We knew right from the moment we arrived at Ramsey Golf and Country Club, that that was exactly where we wanted to hold our wedding. The grounds are pristine and the castle is like a dream! From our very first meeting up until the big day, Michael went above and beyond for us! He was always VERY responsive AND accommodating. They offered a tasting that we could also bring our parents to to help us curate our menu. The food was soooo delicious! All throughout Michael was ALWAYS available to answer any questions or concerns. He helped us plan the day effortlessly. For our rehearsal he was there and helping coordinate all details and making everyone feel more comfortable. During our big day he ensured our wedding went off without a single hitch and made it a point to check in and be sure we were comfortable and happy. What a Perfect Day and an Amazing Venue!! We had our wedding this past July 25, 2015. We definitely made the right choice with RGCC. We worked with Michael T. Michael was AWESOME to work with from the beginning to our wedding day. He is very straight forward. Michael and his staff did an Excellent Job executing our reception and taking care of us especially making sure we ate during our cocktail party. The food was delicious and our guests loved it! We also took a lot of gorgeous/amazing pictures especially the outside grounds and the sunset. We highly recommend this venue and you will not regret it.

Ramsey Country Club gave me my dream wedding! As a hostess, it is important for your guests to enjoy the venue, and I received so many compliments about Ramsey! All the guests were talking about how great the food was and how beautiful the building is. I had an indoor ceremony on site and it was gorgeous with the atrium window design and the sun setting. Michael and his staff are PHENOMENAL. I cannot say enough good things about him. He made everything super easy and made my stress level as close to zero as possible. He made everything about wedding planning easier. He is invaluable.

My husband and I just got married on October 3rd 2015 at the RGCC. First of all, I'd like to start by saying that from the moment I contacted Michael 9 months ago I have had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He is extremely organized, responds so quickly and made the planning process so easy and stress free for me, while taking into consideration all of my ideas and plans (I'm a very do-it-yourself person and he worked side by side with me to make sure our day had every little detail I wanted). I cannot suggest this venue enough to bride-to-be's or for any event planner! The entire building is absolutely beautiful and even though we got married during hurricane weather and had to have the ceremony indoors, it was phenomenal and beautiful. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. And every one of our guests were saying how gorgeous our wedding was and how the food was better than any they've had at any other wedding, and Brian and I would have to agree. I would definitely take a look at this venue and consider it for your wedding/party, not only was the staff helpful and organized but they also executed our day exactly how we wanted it! Thank you staff of RGCC and especially Michael for making our day exactly how we wanted it to be!!!

Recently, we had our wedding ceremony and reception at RGCC. I truly am so thankful to Michael and the entire staff that made our day so special. There is only one wedding at a time and by the end of the whole process from planning to execution you feel like family. EVERY detail was taken care of and we wanted for nothing. Our guests were dazzled by the beautiful outdoor ceremony space along the golf course and the downstairs ballroom beautifully decorated. The back portion is all glass like a green house which afforded our guests a great view of the sunset and grounds. Judging by the many empty plates (scraped clean) I can verify that the guests loved the food. The dance floor is plenty big and accommodated our band and the surprise tango my husband and I performed during our first dance. I found that pricing was extremely fair especially when you consider the quality of the food and service. I truly enjoyed myself at the wedding because I knew that we were in good hands- this is significant because I and my guests have food allergies and they were able to accommodate this without an issue- in fact most of the offerings (including cocktail hour) were gluten-free. I accidentally received a potato that had dairy in it and it was swapped out in less than a minute without me even having time to really notice! Michael and his team are topnotch!

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Ramsey Golf and Country Club this past July. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this place - it was truly exceptional. To quote my (now) mother-in-law, everything about the experience was "top-drawer"!

Ramsey CC is a beautiful venue. It has breathtaking outdoor space and sits between a pair of lakes - great spot for either an outdoor ceremony (we had opted for a traditional church wedding), or photographs. The building itself is really cool and unique - it looks a bit like a castle and has great interior rooms with stone walls and columns as well as a beautiful, expansive glass enclosed section as part of the main hall. As soon as we saw the place we knew it was right for us - distinct, beautiful and elegant - it really set itself apart from a lot of the venues in NY & NJ that can sometimes seem a bit more cookie-cutter.

We worked with Michael Treible throughout the whole process and absolutely could not say enough great things about him or his staff. He's the perfect combination of professional and easy-going. He really went above and beyond to ensure that everything worked out pefectly - no small detail was overlooked. Michael and his team were responsive, friendly and accomodating. Michael guided us through the entire experience, helping us plot out the day and coordinating with vendors - he was absolutely invaluable. He even set up a round of golf for us, though I must caution, the fairways here can be a bit narrrow =).

We would recommend this place without hesitation. Great venue, great staff!

Don't look any further for a place to have your wedding! This venue is absolutely amazing. The building is a historic castle made of field stones which combines a rustic castle appearance in addition to the newer atrium in the lower level. The food was incredibly abundant and delicious. The wedding planner team offered by this venue (at no charge!), coupled with the attentive waitstaff, made for a flawless event.

Working with Michael Treible and his staff (Jackie and Meghan) contributed to overall positive experience. They offered their expertise to every facet of this event. My daughter had an outside ceremony and the grounds were a beautiful backdrop. The reception in the castle area, including an outside seating area, was a great way to have our friends and family mix.

The venue offered us a full dinner sampling for the food tasting, which easily allowed us to select our menu choices. The pricing was so reasonably priced for what we received.

There is nothing negative to say about our event, except it had to end. It was so much fun planning this special day with Michael; he became part of our family. You'll have not a single regret.

Ramsey Golf and Country Club offers amazing views for the backdrop for your pictures! If you time it right, whether you have a fall or spring wedding, your pictures will come out great! The food was amazing and plentiful! Michael Treible was very helpful and very responsive. It's a good thing that they also have a restaurant that is open to the public..on the wedding day, I could not enjoy too much of the food. I am definitely going back to the restaurant to eat.

They only have 1 wedding a day, so you have the entire venue and grounds to yourself. I would highly recommend Ramsey!!

Michael was amazing to deal with firing the entire process! He made everything so easy and did a lot for us. They are very very accommodating with anything. My husband has Celiac and they made sure that everything at the wedding would be ok for him to eat and even brought in pasta for him. The place was amazingly goregous and they did an amazing job with the updates they did when they were closed. It was an unbelievable night and it wouldn't have been so amazing without all the hard work Michael and his team put into it for us.

We had a 50th birthday party in the Abbey. Everything about the event was wonderful- the food, the staff, the room. It could not have gone better.

Ramsey Golf & Country Golf is absolutely amazing! We fell in love with it immediately and it was the best decision we made. Michael is fantastic and so great to work with. From start to finish he accommodated our every request and was quick to respond through email or phone. He always made us feel like a priority. His professionalism and organization made the whole planning process seamless while his easygoing and calm personality made it stress free. Michael and his staff were wonderful during the wedding. Our every need was always met without having to ask. Michael was always there when we needed him and took care of everything so we were free to dance the whole night. We had several guests with food allergies and Michael and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate them. RG&CC is romantic and charming and the grounds are beautiful allowing for countless photo opportunities. We loved that our wedding felt intimate and personal even though we had 150 guests. The whole wedding was above and beyond our expectations and we can’t thank Michael and the RG&CC staff enough!

I had the most amazing wedding and Ramsey Country Club made every moment of it perfect. The event coordinator Michael is a gift to the wedding industry. He made me so happy during every moment of my wedding process from my first appointment with him until I walked out of the venue on my wedding night. The place is perfect, beautiful, and the food was delicious and everyone was raving about it. Michael was so accommodating. Anything I asked for or wanted was able to be done. I am so happy that I got married at RCC!!! I will miss working with them!

My wedding day was perfect. From the day I went to see the location to the moment my wedding ended I felt like a princess. Mike was amazing to work with. His attention to detail was amazing. Nothing was forgotten about. The cocktail hour was to die for. The scenery was amazing. From the views at daytime to sundown were breathtaking. My pictures are beautiful because of the setting as well. The food at the reception was amazing as well. I cannot say enough positive things about the country club. It speaks for itself once you go and take a look! My husband and I go back each year for dinner on our anniversary to reminisce about our wedding night.

My fiancé and I visited about 3 or 4 venues for our wedding. I didn't really know what I was looking for, but I knew most of the places weren't "us". I saw an ad for Ramsey CC in one of my wedding magazines and I couldn't believe it was down the street from where we live. It looked so pretty and looked like somewhere i could see having my wedding. I made an appointment to see the venue right away. We met with Michael who is the catering manager there, and who ended up being my maître d. The second we walked out of our first meeting with him, I knew i had to get married there. Michael was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable with such a huge decision. He gave us a fabulous price to have our wedding reception there. I fell in love with the old stone "castle" there and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous.
I must have emailed Michael 25 times minimum between then and the wedding date, and he always responded right away with all the information i needed. The day of the wedding was great, everything went so smoothly, and my husband and I had the time of our lives. The food was delicious! I couldn't be happier that i chose Ramsey Country Club for our wedding venue, and Michael was wonderful to work with. I can't say enough great things about it, and I highly recommend having your wedding, shower, party, whatever, at this beautiful venue.

My husband & I searched for months for a place to have our wedding. We were just about to compromise and go with anything that had food when we had a last minute recommendation to see the RG&CC. We met with Mike Treible and let me tell you this man is invaluable to have when you are coordinating an event like this. When we booked we basically begged him not to go anywhere as we were certain that as long as were in his hands, we would not be disappointed. We also requested to set-up a food tasting as food was a very important factor for us, and this was before we had committed to the venue. He was more than happy to oblige and set it up like a private dinner. We knew at that moment that Ramsey was the place for us.

We are happy to report the food is fantastic! Everyone raved about our cocktail hour and our guests are STILL talking about both the quantity AND quality of the food weeks after the event! Between the food, the seamless transition of the day thanks to the staff, along with the guidance and assistance of Mike, the day was practically perfect. He took the time to make sure that Ramsey could make our day be as special and personal as we envisioned it to be, and they/he delivered. Besides being a true professional, Mike was one of the few people we met during this wedding planning process that was honest, personable, and so helpful that my husband & I are counting ourselves lucky that we placed our wedding in his hands. Overall, if you want an event with great food, friendly & helpful staff (Jackie and Meghan as well!), and has a great party atmosphere that your guests will enjoy, definitely do not hesitate to have your wedding here.

No detail on my wish list was left undone. I greatly appreciated how he anticipated our needs and graciously treated our guests.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experiences with Michael and everyone at Ramsey. I had my 10/12/13 wedding reception there, and the whole experience was completely magical (and as stress free as possible)!

From our initial consultation, Michael was extremely easy to work with and laid back during our meetings, but extremely on the ball and organized in terms of answering e-mails and setting up appointments. He was also really flexible with changes we wanted to make to the menu and having us come before the ceremony to take photos on the grounds. And although he was extremely relaxed when he interacted with my mother, my (now) husband and me, when the wedding day arrived, I could tell he was not laid back with setting out the details of our day. Everything was perfect! Exactly how we wanted it! He meticulously set up the room exactly how we wanted, including setting guest baskets in the restrooms and in the bridal suite, and the whole evening just went so smoothly under his oversight. I also have to say, he was extremely willing to understand my family's cultural customs, and was right on target when overseeing an ethnic welcome bread ceremony.

If Michael wasn't awesome enough, he has two assistants who are just as amazing as he is! I had eco-fetti thrown at the church, but I didn't anticipate it would get caught in my hair. But it was no problem! Once I got to the venue, they painstakingly got every last ecofetti out! I also had an issue with my bustle, but they were right there and were able to fix it on the spot! They also brought us snacks from the cocktail hour for us while they were working on resolving the bustle!

The food was excellent and the venue was beautiful! So much so, that right after my wedding, a really close friend of mine asked if I wouldn't mind if she had her upcoming wedding there, too! Michael and co. left a great impression on me, my husband and all my guests!

During our wedding, my husband said to me "I kind of wish we could get married again, so we could do it here and deal with Michael all over again." That pretty much sums up our experience with Ramsey Golf & Country Club. Michael was everything you could ever wish for in a maitre d'. He was always available, he answered e-mails, he was patient, flexible, and was able to accommodate absolutely everything we asked for. He was a complete guiding light throughout the wedding process, and I can't emphasize enough how much we enjoyed working with him. He was not only the point person from the moment we sat down with him more than a year before the big day, but during the reception he was buzzing around and making sure that everything went completely perfectly. My mother hasn't stopped talking about how great he was, and my husband insists that any party we throw in the future will be here. I loved that we were not charged for guests that did not come, there was an open bar included in the cost, and there weren't any hidden fees. Michael was upfront about everything from the get-go, and anything we wanted changed to make it perfect he was able to make happen. PERFECT. We LOVE RGCC, and especially Michael!!

I had my reception at Ramsey for my wedding on June 1, 2013. The venue exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The food was amazing, it's probably the most flexible venue I've heard of in terms of them basically letting you do whatever makes you happiest, and Michael is absolutely fantastic. He would answer emails within the same day. He amuses and respects the most ridiculous requests, like having three lit candles on each table that requierd a day's work of making sure the candles would stay in their holders. He's also a very clam presence to have during what can be a stressful time. The venue is intimate, which is how many people described it to me, but it isn't until you are there the day of that you realize just how intimate it is, especially compared to all the other wedding palaces in New Jersey. It feels very special and personal versus an enormous room that feels empty and cold. If you want to still have a traditional wedding but want it to feel more personal, this is definitely the place to go. We couldn't be happier with our choice! Thank you Michael and staff!

I think our best decision in all of our wedding planning was choosing Ramsey Golf and Country Club for our reception. First, Michael is an invaluable manager, and I felt completely comfortable trusting him with all the details. He was so capable and on top of everything that we decided not to hire a wedding coordinator, saving us lots of money - and headache! I had some weird requests, and he totally rolled with it. And he's just a cool, relaxed guy that we enjoyed meeting with. Second, the venue was gorgeous and totally unique - we had a winter wedding, and the grounds were snow covered and beautiful and with all the candles in the ballroom, it was exactly the warm, cozy feeling I wanted. I got more comments on how our guests loved the space and how warm and welcome they felt. It's definitely not your typical NJ banquet hall, but I loved that. Third, the food was great - people are still commenting to me about the risotto. And last, it was affordable - considerably less than other places we looked at. I loved having our wedding here, and I wish I could do it again!

Ramsey Golf & Country Club was our wedding venue. I don't even know where to begin, when my now husband and I drove up to the club it took our breath away and then we walked inside and we both fell in love. We didn't even make it out of the parking lot before going back in to book. Michael Treible our coordinator and the director of catering exceeded all expecations, he went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Michael and his staff were beyond kind and friendly, professional, responsive, flexible and for the services we received and the food we should have paid tripple!! Our entire wedding was on time and made us feel so at ease. Michael and his staff made our wedding day truly the best day of our lives. We were given two private tastings and the food was to die for. I have guests still saying that was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The food is fresh, homemade and wow do you get a lot of it. We had specific cultural food we wanted and they accomidated our every need and made sure that it was authentic and homemade!! I don't think I can say enough amazing things about Ramsey Country Club. We can not wait to go back to the restaurant just so we can have the food again. It was absolutely stunning and we just love Michael and highly, highly recommmend Ramsey Country Club to all future brides and grooms. You will not be dissapointed!! I can't thank them enough for what they gave us.

The best decision I made was choosing the Ramsey Golf and Country Club for my wedding. It was amazing! Michael was a superb coordinator. He made us and our guests feel completely taken care of. Our guests were telling us for weeks after the wedding that it was the best food, venue, and overall wedding that they had ever been to. Most importantly I felt secure that everything would go according to plan and that I didn’t have to worry about anything because Michael made me feel at ease. My husband and I were able to revel in our day! You can’t go wrong with choosing the RGCC. I just can’t say enough how happy I was to have my wedding there. We worked with Michael, the catering director for all of our business with the country club. He was very responsive and pleasant. He also acted as our coordinator the day of the event with his staff. The grounds and facility are beautiful here, and the I even got to play a round of golf with my family.

The location itself couldn't have been more beautiful - when the sun sets over the golf course, its the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous photo. The room itself is intimate and is a great space for 130 - 200 guests. And of course, the food was excellent! You will definitely enjoy your food tasting!

My husband and I had the most amazing experience with Ramsey Country Club. From the first meeting with Michael we knew this was the venue for us. The space is absolutely gorgeous and it is such a stress relief to know that their is a contingency plan already in place for the ceremony if it happens to rain. We met with Michael the week of the wedding to go over all our plans and final details, prior to this meeting we were both a little nervous because we were not the most organized bride and groom. After meeting with Michael all of our nerves were totally gone and we felt like we were totally prepared and in great hands. Michael and his team tended to our every need and request day of, including handling some last minute drama with some family members before our ceremony. They kept everything moving smoothly and were total professionals at every turn. The food was abundant and delicious, we received tons of compliments. People were also super impressed with the venue, and we got so lucky with the weather on our wedding day. I would recommend Ramsey Country Club to every bride and groom out there, this was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day.

My then-fiance and I met with Sean Price, who was extremely personable and professional throughout the planning process. He was super quick with email responses and helpful with menu choices. There was never a moment that I doubted Ramsey's food, service, or dedication. On the day of the wedding, he and the maitre d' were perfectly friendly, courteous, and on top of everything. They made sure we were taken care of and always asked us if we needed anything.

I also loved the ambiance of the club's location. As the only party on any given night, you have access to some wonderful photo opportunities, and I definitely love how my wedding photos turned out. Many of my guests commented on how intimate and elegant Ramsey was and wondered how I found the place!

And on top of such great service and scenery, the food was amazing! I recommend attending a taste testing or simply eating there for dinner--the food alone is worth booking this venue. It really is a great place.

The cocktail hour was great… I don’t even know what to say because they were so fantastic. We had some problems the week before the wedding (there were torrential downpours) so we were not sure we would be able to get married outdoors. The people at Ramse really took care of us and we had a tent outside and they had made sure everything was just amazing.
