As someone who values authenticity in photos, I cannot recommend Raina enough! There's something so special about pictures that accurately reflect your day/event/occasion, and she delivers every single time. Not only does she capitalize on candid moments, but she is an expert at helping you feel comfortable. She did our engagement photos and certainly helped my fiancé and I feel good about being in front of a camera. My favorite part is that on her website, she describes her work as "artful documentation of your milestones" which not only hits the nail on the head, but is such a magical description and she MORE than adheres to it. Book her as soon as you can!! -

I'm a wedding planner, and I recently worked with Raina – she is WONDERFUL!
During the planning process, she responded efficiently to all my emails, and she made sure to give me all the information necessary regarding her contract, invoice needs, and conversations with the bride and groom. The bride and groom also felt that she was attentive to their needs and their specific style during the planning process.
On the day of the wedding, she was prepped and ready for each special moment! She worked diligently and efficiently, all while allowing the bride and groom to feel comfortable and relaxed. She had so many creative ideas for photo locations, group shot styles, and romance shots – she magically captured the day! On top of that, she is so sweet and patient! I look forward to collaborating with her again.

Totally unique and special - just perfect for us!
From the start, we knew we'd made the right choice with Raina. She is a great communicator, and so on top of details. She really got to know us and our values, and all that culminated in beautiful engagement and wedding photos, and a super fun and seamless experience overall. I’ve been coming to Raina for years now- she’s done professional headshots of me, numerous couple’s shoots with my partner, our eventual engagement shoot, and wedding photos for me. Every time she sends me my gallery, I feel like I’ve never looked more true to myself in photos. She’s always willing to work with my vision and my preferences while offering very, very valuable advice about what will make me look my best. I’ve never felt more comfortable, heard, or seen in front of a camera. Raina is incredibly professional while making me feel like I’m just hanging out with my good friend- the feeling while she’s shooting you is relaxed, comfortable, and fun. I will go to her again and again any time I need any kind of photo work- I know she’ll always come through for me. -

Amazing Surprise Proposal Shoot!
My fiancé made an on the fly decision to propose and coordinated with Raina to set up a surprise shoot to capture the moment! I felt so comfortable during the shoot and had absolutely no idea! Now I have the most amazing keepsakes from the proposal (because I definitely blacked out!) and would recommend Raina for any shoot you need, but especially if you want your raw and candid moments captured in the most beautiful way! Can’t recommend her enough!!! -

Raina is starting to feel like a part of our family and a friend. She took incredible!! digital and film photos at our wedding in 2021 and then again took digital and film pics of us and our 4 month old baby in 2023 using two different film cameras. We live in Phoenix, but she squeezes us in when she is back visiting her family. We love working with her because she is very easy to be around and interact with and has an energetic style of shooting. We prefer non-traditional, documentary style shots, so this was a great match for us. For our wedding she was very hands on, she rode on the party bus with us into the Arizona desert (where our wedding was held) and came along for the adventure! The attention to detail in some of her photos was very appreciated. We saw a tarantula right before our ceremony (which is a very symbolic and special creature to us) and she thought to document it which we were very glad of. Raina is very flexible, easy-going, fun, positive, creative and a delight to be around! We adore her and will continue to have her capture our family milestones. -

Best Wedding Photographer for moody lovers alike
Raina shot our intimate backyard wedding and the photos did NOT disappoint.
Raina is great about capturing the moments most important to YOU. I’ve used Raina for all kinds of photography and would use her a million times more. I instantly felt comfortable which does come through in the photos. If you need help with posing, Raina has you covered. Have a furry friend you want included, Raina has you covered. Raina’s skills are incredibly versatile and customized to clients needs/wants. -

Raina has been my family photographer since 2016. She has done our family photos, engagement photos, wedding photos, my best friend's wedding photos, my son's 1 year photos, and my sister in law's newborn photos. While her Forte is weddings and engagement, this review is about her adaptability, her awareness of client uniqueness and needs, commitment to her clients, and consistency and quality. Her work speaks for itself, but her repeat and lifelong clients are proof that she and her work are golden. You can't go wrong with Raina.
