Country Gentleman's home wedding
Sometimes the stars just align. My daughter had her heart set on the Radnor Hunt Club for her wedding reception, Feast had just been awarded the new contract, and Pol Duffy, a bit of a legend in Chester County, had recently joined Feast. Feast and Radnor delivered the Country Gentleman experience in spades.
First and foremost, the food was exquisite, delicious and plentiful. Guests stopped me to share how much they loved the food. They also loved that it was served family style, and they could have seconds of what they liked best. The cake was amazing, and while waiting for my turn to get photographed, I loved watching him construct it in place.
More than one guest said they were going to consider FYE next time they needed a caterer.
Now, I don’t know if I would have had quite as much fun doing the prep work if it weren't for Pol Duffy. His calm, assurances that he had seen and dealt with it all. His quick grasp of the level of elegance I expected, and helping me attain it.
And then there is Radnor Hunt Club. The club has done some major updates to its event space and it is the same, but better. We were able to create an “at home” feeling but accommodate 130 people without setting up a tent. If you want guests to feel like they are invited into your home, but you don’t have a ballroom, Radnor is the way to go.
