Over and over again, we heard from friends and family this was the best cover band!! We booked Radio Tokyo for our wedding at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and it was a huge hit. When the night ended at 11pm, the crowd was asking for “One more song!” Jason and his band were incredibly easy to work with and listened to our requests. They helped link us up with DJ Arnel, who emceed our wedding and was amazing too. Book today! -

Party of a Lifetime!
The second we came across Radio Tokyo we knew we had to have them at our wedding. We booked them before we booked our wedding venue. They made our wedding reception the party of a lifetime, the dance floor was always packed. The compliments we still receive months after our wedding is such a testament to how incredibly talented these guys are. Thanks for giving us the party of a lifetime! -

You'll never want to see a DJ again....
If you're looking to turn your standard boring wedding, into an all out dance party...then hiring Radio Tokyo is the way to go!! We can't say enough wonderful things about their musicianship, responsiveness and professionalism! They are the total package and delivered way more than we could have ever imagined. Book them...you won't regret it! -

Katie Sent on 09/16/2018Radio Tokyo will take your wedding from good to awesome! I cannot say enough good things about this band. They were amazing to work with, flexible, and professional. Our wedding was 2 weeks ago, and people are still raving about Radio Tokyo. My husband's 90 year old grandmother was dancing all night until the very last song-- and somehow she lost one shoe while dancing, which we found 2 days later. The music selection was exactly what we would have picked out for ourselves! If you're looking for a wedding band that will be talked about for years after your wedding this is the band for you! -
Christopher Sent on 01/11/2018Look no farther for a wedding band. In fact, you should plan your wedding date around Radio Tokyo's availability. Well, only if you want every family member and friend you see for several months after your wedding to tell you that your wedding reception, notably the band, was incredible and the best party they have ever been to. Jason was great to work with and accommodated several song requests and unique timeline ideas that we had (mini-set before dinner). He even prepared a slideshow to be played during the reception on TVs next to the stage.

Elliott Sent on 01/11/2018Radio Tokyo is excellent. I saw them play up near the Lake Erie islands about 6 months I proposed to my wife, and knew immediately they would be the band to play our wedding.
I contacted Jason and we were able to put together a package quickly, he followed up timely, and MC'd the event. Radio Tokyo has variety, they're not your average cookie cutter cover band-they have personality and incredible variety. Our first dance and second song were more "country-ish" and they nailed it. They're try pro's and can read an audience very well.
If you're hesitant about booking a band, because your unsure how it will translate-I assure you, there is nothing to worry about here. They play tunes ranging from pop-punk, hip-hop, pop, rap, and old school throwbacks. We placed value on the music being the main attraction at our wedding, if you do as well-Radio Tokyo is the right fit.

I have seen this band play at events in and around the Pittsburgh area over the years. LOVE them. I reached out to them for my wedding and Jason was really responsive. Super accommodating. He worked with me on the details from start to finish and everything was perfect. My husband LOVES Motley Crue and I let him choose “Kickstart my Heart” as our reception entrance song (not really Radio Tokyo’s style so I didn’t expect them to perform it) BUT - Jason called me and said one of his guitar players knew the opening guitar part and he was going to surprise my husband by having the guitar player play it live and then transition to the song. Ummm….my husband lost his s*#!. He was SO happy, I wish you all could have seen his face when he asked me “is their guitarist playing this?!?!?” seconds before they opened the doors and we entered the reception. They are such an entertaining group. I can’t wait to see them again - hopefully somewhere this summer! We received so many compliments about the band - our guests loved that we had a band over a DJ. You won’t be disappointed - book them! They are SO worth it! -

Radio Tokyo brought down the house at our wedding reception. Guests continue to mention how amazing they were. A live band (vs. a DJ) brings such an extra "WOW" factor to a reception. If you're worried that live band would mean sacrificing the party vibes and modern music, Radio Tokyo has you covered! They played everything from Post Malone to Blink 182 to Backstreet Boys to Cardi B, and our dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT. They did a great job reading the room and playing banger after banger. Radio Tokyo was among our most important vendors to bring our wedding vision to life, and they did not fail to deliver!
