We had our wedding at Radegast Hall on a Sunday in October, and it was still an absolutely epic affair. Our guests were blown away and can’t stop talking about how perfect the venue was for a wedding.
Some admitted they weren’t sure how we’d pull it off in a space like Radegast, but afterward they couldn’t stop raving about how intimate, unique, and perfectly “us” it felt. That’s a testament to the venue, the staff, and their seamless coordination with our other vendors.
From our first tour with Sean, we knew we were in great hands. He and his team have built one of the most thoughtful wedding packages in NYC. We knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding, but we did want it to feel like one, and Radegast delivered. Even in the middle of a storm, Sean coordinated with our musical vendors, handled all AV needs, and kept everything running effortlessly.
The food was incredible - Chef Brian helped us create custom appetizers like mini chicken pot pies with pierogi dough and tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese. Guests are still talking about the pretzels, pierogis, and latkes. The drinks were just as impressive, with quick service and perfect espresso martinis (cocktail and mocktail versions).
We wanted a sophisticated yet funky, high-energy celebration that felt authentic to us, and Radegast nailed it. The night ran flawlessly, and we can’t wait to come back and relive the magic. -

One day as we were walking past Radegast, we both thought “Wow, I wish we could get married here.” 2 years later, we did and it was the best decision we ever made! We owe everything to Sean and the team at Radegast for such a perfect wedding. They were able to make our dream wedding come to life at such a reasonable cost. The venue was great for our 100 guests and everyone was able to dance and hang out around the venue comfortably. The drinks and food were fantastic— our coordinator even said it was the best wedding food she’s ever had! The service was everything we could have ever asked for. Our guests were never without a drink and the team magically cleared tables without ever being in anyone’s way. Sean helped us from start to finish— from touring us through the venue, hosting a food tasting, doing multiple venue walk throughs with our vendors, and even serving a round of shots on the dance floor with us on the wedding day— there’s a reason why he has so many good reviews and we are so grateful! So many guests have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and we wish we could do it all over again! You won’t regret choosing Radegast. -

Amazing Venue for a Love-Filled Celebration
My partner and I celebrated our wedding at Radegast in May 2025, and it was truly unforgettable. If you're planning a wedding in Brooklyn, I wholeheartedly suggest considering this gem of a venue.
From the moment we first visited, we were struck by the charm and impeccable upkeep of the space. The atmosphere is warm, unique, and full of character—clearly cared for by a team that takes immense pride in it. It offered the perfect setting for a heartfelt and joy-filled celebration.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. If you’ve dined at the restaurant before, you already know what to expect—but the wedding spread took it to the next level. Radegast treated our guests to a deliciously authentic and abundant German menu. From the hors d'oeuvres to the main course to the late-night eats, every bite was a hit. Our families haven’t stopped raving about how good everything was!
The biggest standout, however, was the service. Sean and his team went above and beyond every step of the way. From our initial meeting, Sean emphasized the importance of attentive hospitality—and he truly delivered. He was consistently responsive during planning, provided fantastic vendor suggestions, and accommodated all our ideas with ease. On the day itself, the level of care was unmatched. The staff was plentiful, friendly, and incredibly efficient—no one ever waited for a drink or missed a bite. It felt like every detail was anticipated, and the result was a smooth, joyful, and deeply personal event.
If I could rate Radegast more than five stars, I would. It's an ideal place to throw a fun, memorable, and love-filled party. Don’t think twice about checking it out! -

We just had our wedding here and it was truly a magical experience. The vibe and aesthetic of Radegast was perfect for the event and the staff were all attentive and incredible to work with. Even with a crowd of 150+, I don't think anyone waited more than a few moments to be served. Sean, the event planner, was awesome to collaborate with and wore so many hats; also acting as our sound guy for a whole live music experience we put on. And not to mention the food was delicious and efficient! We got so much positive feedback from our guests and will remember our wedding there as one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. -

My wife and I were determined to have our wedding in New York City and researched a bunch of venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Radegast was the last place that we visited, and we put our deposit down the day after our walk through and ended the search.
Sean managed the booking for us, and we felt his attention and thoroughness immediately. This was in stark contrast to the apathy that we felt at other places; almost like we needed to work for any enthusiasm from the venue about booking with them. We felt “wined and dined” by Sean and super confident that he would take the event as seriously as we were. We ended up booking The Bier House space with the buffet food option.
Our intuition was right, Radegast was incredible! Not only were they the most affordable option that we could find in the city for our number of guests, but the space was so beautiful that we didn’t have to spend money on any additional decor. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and all of our guests were really impressed.
Sean and the staff at Radegast “bent over backwards” (a quote from our wedding planner) to make sure that our vision for the day matched reality. They helped solve any problem that came along, and did so with a smile. They were as accommodating on the day of the event as they were in the months leading up to it. The price was exactly what we were quoted, there were not any unexpected add-ons or fees. The event was an absolute blast and the venue had a lot to do with it.
Also the location is incredible. Williamsburg is perfect for everyone; your NYC friends are a subway ride away, your weird conservative relatives from Long Island can park in the parking garage literally across the street and run home right after the event, and anyone unfamiliar with the city will leave the event loving how pretty Brooklyn is.
This is absolutely the best value for a wedding venue in New York City and the positive vibes are through the roof! -

Unforgettable Celebration
There are not enough words to express how positive of an experience working with the Radegast team was. From start to finish, the team made us feel taken care of, prioritized and special. Food and bar team was friendly and attentive. The event coordinator Sean, walked us through the whole experience. From helping us through the planning process, coordinating with vendors, going the extra mile to direct our ceremony and holding down the fort during the actual party so we could really enjoy ourselves. As the brides, we were never left with an empty glass. We left feeling like family.
The food is always fantastic when we dine here. There was no exception when it came to scaling their meals up for hundreds of people. Sean and the team made sure to include our favorite items. We were able to provide some fan favorites, but they also made it so easy to simultaneously have options for those with dietary restrictions in our life.
Truly can't say enough kind words about this team and would recommend them to anyone/everyone. The place is beautiful, the food and drinks are never ending. The perfect mix of refined but not too formal. -

We booked Radegast to host our wedding reception because of its reasonable price point and beautiful bar and garden rooms. As residents of Brooklyn for over a decade we thought we knew what Radegast was about: big party atmosphere with excellent drinks. What we came to find out was that it was so much more.
We’ll start with Sean, Radegast’s manager and possibly one of the nicest, most down-to-earth persons we could have hoped to work with; any request we had he was able to accommodate, no stress. It was made apparent to us very early that it would be so simple working with Sean and his team, it really helped alleviate the stress of the preparation period.
The menu planning was easy, most of the appetizers were can’t miss and the main dinner options put a really fun spin on traditional wedding dishes. Everything we landed on was delicious and well received by our guests. The other big consideration was working with a bar and staff the caliber of Radegast - they aren’t limited to certain mixed drinks or a pre-set list of beer because being a top-class bar handling a large crowd is what they do every night.
The night of, all anyone could talk about was the service and the space. All the staff were brilliant: friendly and accommodating keeping our guest well fed and looked after, making everyone feel like regulars that they had known for years. Sean took us under his personal watch and was never far when we needed anything or to even offer a bit of touchup on a suit. A true partner. The space was beautiful, we got lucky enough with the weather to open the garden’s ceiling windows and it just created the most perfect setting to celebrate with everyone we loved.
It was truly a night to remember, one that wouldn’t have been nearly as special without Radegast and their very special staff. -

2017 unforgettable wedding
We had our wedding here in 2017 and our guests are STILL talking about how it’s the best wedding they’ve been to. The team was stellar in helping us plan and making the day run super smoothly. Everything was all custom to our tastes. The food was incredible, service was perfect and our photos are one of a kind and beautiful due to the look of the venue. We continue to have birthdays here as a tradition. We love Radegast. -

There are no words that could adequately capture how much I loved my wedding at Radegast. It was perfect. We worked with Sean originally, and then Kasia closer to our wedding and both of them made us feel like we were having a $100k wedding. Service was incredible (our guests still talk about it), food was great, and we worked with several other vendors they recommended who were also wonderful.
I was hesitant at first, but Radegast was the perfect venue for us because it was:
1) a great value for the cost (maybe the best in NYC)
2) non-traditional but with all of the aspects you’d want in a traditional venue, like food onsite, excellent staff, bar options, A/V
3) every person we ever met who worked there treated us so well before we even told them we were getting married there
Do yourself a favor and pick Radegast for your next event. -

The space is beautiful, the food is delicious, the beer and drinks are amazing, and the entire staff is at the top of their game. They even let us dance on top of the tables at the end of the night! (Table dancing not required, but we highly recommend you try it!) -

Top to bottom, Radegast was an absolute dream to work with. From the first meeting we had with Sean, to the day after the wedding when we came to pick up our materials - the team was so kind and helpful. They really helped make our dream day come true. When you choose Radegast, you are not only getting great food, reasonable prices, and a cool setting. You are ensuring your day will be fun and enjoyable for everyone - because their team cares about creating a great experience. With Radegast, you're giving yourself the gift of a venue coordinator (Sean) and venue team who will make planning easier for you.
Planning was so easy and the team worked with us and our other vendors so well. The food is absolutely incredible! Our guests will not stop talking about it! We've heard from so many people that this was the most fun wedding they've been to. The place has so much character on its own that we did very little planning for decor. It was a huge savings in both time and money, but also really created the cozy, warm, fun vibe we wanted for our day.
The wait staff and bartenders are so nice and fun - they absolutely added to our day. They took care of our guests by making sure they always had a drink that was well made and exactly what they wanted. One of the waitresses even found me and brought me a plate of hors d'oeurves since I couldn't mingle during cocktail hour. It was so sweet that I didn't even have to ask. One of our guests got a video of the staff dancing during our Hora and it was so nice to know our wedding was a good time for EVERYONE.
If you are looking for a less traditional, fun, NYC wedding Radegast is an incredible choice. -

Radegast put together a beautiful rehearsal dinner for us! The space was cozy and well decorated, with our own private bartender, specialty cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, and an incredible sit down dinner. Our guests were so impressed with the space/quality of service. Absolutely recommend to any couple planning a rehearsal dinner! -

Radegast was an amazing wedding venue! Sean made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in the door to scout the location. We only used minimal flowers and greenery for decorations and the space still looked great. Everyone really enjoyed the open brat grill and German beer. We had about 120 guests and a live band, all of which easily fit in the space. Several guests told us that it was the most fun they could remember having at a wedding. Despite the high quality, the price point felt very low/fair for an NYC wedding. -

What a dream come true! Sean and the team at Radegast Hall were incredible at planning our perfect wedding reception. Between the food, the atmosphere, the cold drinks, dancing on the tables, our guests and the most amazing people behind the scenes making it one epic night, we could not have handpicked a better venue to celebrate at. I highly recommend having your wedding reception with Radegast, they are one killer team that have created lasting memories for the rest of forever. Sean and the team at The Radegast Hall & Biergarten were beyond phenomenal. They were the perfect fit to our "non-traditional" wedding. Sean was the cool, calm, and collected presence that you will want in a venue coordinator, and his experience speaks to his ability to pivot and adapt in the moment when that inevitable moment where something goes a bit awry. With the help from their team, we were able to curate, plan, and execute the perfect wedding for us. We have been told by more than half of the people who attended our 95 person wedding that it "was the best wedding that I've ever been to" or " your wedding was so much fun." My favorite interaction with Sean was when he said "My goal for that night is to get you dancing on top of the tables." To which I asked "We can do that?" His response was "The place is yours for the night." I'll say that Sean went far and beyond accomplishing his goal when my 84 year old grandmother made it up onto a table and danced her heart out. You would be foolish to let a gem like this slip through your grasp. -

Sean and the entire staff at Radegast were wonderful to us. Wedding planning was never our "thing," but Radegast made everything easy & stress-free -- you can tell they care about crafting a fun & memorable day for you.
The food was amazing -- would highly recommend the pretzels especially!
The venue itself is gorgeous -- we barely had to worry about decorating. The side garden area has amazing lighting, & with the brick walls and rustic gates, it made for a great ceremony spot.
By the end of the night, the entire party was up dancing and singing on the tables. We are still hearing non-stop from our guests how it was their favorite wedding they've attended! Radegast is a perfect venue for a wedding if you're looking for something a little different from the usual wedding show. It was a great value, and we would book it a thousand times over if we had to make the decision again. -

Radegast Hall was the perfect venue for our non-traditional wedding! The Bierhaus was beautiful, charming, and cozy for our 90-person party. From the beginning, the event planner was very responsive, flexible, and always available to answer all of my questions. Radegast also provided so many things, from dinnerware to candles. It was very affordable, but did not lack the tiniest bit in quality! Our guests RAVED about the food and drinks and the service was unbelievable. Several people mentioned to us that their drinks were constantly being filled without them having to lift a finger.
Book Radegast for your wedding if you're looking to hold a fun, easy, non-traditional wedding! -

The best choice!
I am SO happy we decided to have our wedding at Radegast! It was so easy and stress free for us from start to finish! Sean took such great care of us and assured us every step of the way that he would make everything work no matter what and he totally delivered. He also worked with us to make sure everything was within our budget. He was really kind and conscious about that, unlike so many other venues.
It's such a warm, friendly space. The staff are all fantastic. And it was so cozy for our fall wedding with the long wooden tables and twinkling lights. The vibe was exactly what I hoped for. And the food and the cocktails were AMAZING! So many of our guests raved to us about it afterwards. Seriously, I think of it as a beer place, but these cocktails!!! The potato pancakes! OMG! Plus, Sean made us a doggie bag to take with us at the end of the night which we absolutely ate at like 2am. It was a total life-saver.
There was plenty of space for the DJ and for a great dance party and we sat 120 people in the long garden room for the ceremony pretty comfortably. I have zero regrets and so many beautiful memories of a great night! 10/10 would recommend! -

Stress-free, fun venue for the best wedding ever
Less than two weeks after our wedding, I still can't believe how incredible, easy and FUN it was thanks to Radegast and their incredible team. I am convinced all of the stressful, crazy stories I've heard about wedding planning just means those people picked the wrong venue. By picking Radegast we guaranteed ourselves great food, drinks and a joyous and fun atmosphere and they absolutely delivered. We had countless guests tell us that it was hands-down the most fun wedding they've ever been to and that we've ruined them for future weddings. Look no further--this is the venue & team you want if you're looking for an awesome, fun and incredible day. Thank you, Radegast team!! -
