Rabbi Melinda Bernstein did such a wonderful ceremony for us! We wanted to do things a little differently and sign our ketubah at the chuppah. She happily incorporated that, and it was perfect. My grandma and several guests gushed to me about how much they loved the ceremony. Thank you so much for making my husband and my day so special. If you are looking around for an officiant, I highly recommend :) -

Rabbi Melinda was the perfect person to marry my husband and I. She was so detailed and professional and you could feel her light hearted vibe and free spirit. We loved having her apart of our special day. She was everything we were looking for in a spiritual advisor. Melinda’s ceremony was beautiful her wording and every thing was perfect. We would like to thank her for adding a touch of magic to our wedding. From our first FaceTime call to the "You may seal this union with a kiss", she personalised the ceremony to match our style and our vision (and she color coordinated, too). Her graciousness, humor and words of wisdom were engaging from the get go. We are so grateful we found Rabbi Melinda and chose her to perform our ceremony. She fit our style perfectly- she was so open and flexible which allowed us to figure out how we wanted to incorporate spirituality into our ceremony. She was everything you want in a vendor- responsive, organized, knowledgeable and warm. She was the vendor our guests were most impressed with- the ceremony she ultimately wrote for us was beautiful and fit us perfectly. She's a gem! -

Melinda was a phenomenal officiant for our wedding. Given the pandemic and the constant rescheduling, she was extremely flexible. Melinda delivered a beautiful and personal ceremony. She spent time prior to the ceremony to get to know us as a couple and incorporate key aspects into the vows. -

Rabbi Melinda officiated an amazing ceremony. Really making the ceremony about me and my wife. She asked us personal questions about how we met and what draws us together during our FaceTime to make our ceremony personal to us. I myself I’m not Jewish and she gave us a special and lighthearted ceremony for both families. Highly recommend her! -

Rabbi Bernstein was excellent from start to finish. My wife and I selected Rabbi Bernstein for our wedding in November 2020. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I grew up Lutheran, but the entire process was spelled out from the beginning, so there was absolutely no stress on our wedding day – trust me, that is a BIG deal 😊.
From the initial conversation, the expectations were set, and during our consultation, she got to know us not only as people but as a couple. The “ROADMAP” exercise is something neither one of us will forget and is a good reminder of how to continue developing and loving one another every day.
I truly enjoyed how the ceremony incorporated our values to a tee, and it was easy to follow for my family since most have never been to a Jewish wedding.
I would highly recommend Rabbi Bernstein! -

Rabbi Melinda was truly so wonderful! I was unsure and nervous about finding the right fit for my fiance and I since we come from different faiths. It was important for us to find someone who was able to make us both feel comfortable from start to finish. Melinda really captured everything we expected and more! She was thoughtful, detail oriented, and patient with us each step of the way. .. and very funny too which helped break the ice! Highly recommend for wedding or any occasion! -

Rabbi Melinda was a gem to work with… Upon the first meeting we knew she was the right one for our wedding. On the day of the wedding she came as planned & provided us with a beautiful ceremony. Beautiful Backyard Wedding
Melinda was perfect for our ceremony. We wanted a jewish wedding that our families could be a part of, held in our backyard. Melinda met with us prior, in a convenient location to get the details settled and to get an opportunity to personalize the ceremony for us. The day of the wedding, she showed up, chupa and all, ready to go. The ceremony was short and sweet- just what we were looking for and we couldn't have been happier. Jennie Sent on 08/22/2018My husband and I were so blessed and happy to have had Rabbi Melinda officiate our wedding. She is a very warm, sweet, kind, and interesting person. She truly went out of her way to make our wedding details perfect. She was knowledgeable with regards to planning out all of the details of a Jewish wedding, enabled us to personalize the ceremony with our own details, and she went to great lengths to make the signing of our ketubah-Jewish marriage contract perfect and beautiful.
She was flexible with our wedding date and time, and showed up smiling, up-beat at 5:30 AM for our sunrise ceremony. She didn’t even complain about the the small rain shower we encountered, but had only positive and reassuring remarks. She even shared some photos and a video of our day with us. I don’t think we could have picked a better wedding officiant. Rabbi Melinda did a fantastic job and we highly recommend her!

Anna Sent on 11/24/2017Melinda was professional, funny and flexible. We found her online and immediately knew she was perfect for us. We had arranged to have a very small service on the beach in Del Ray. Because we live in New York she also sent me information of restaurants, florists in the area which was helpful. We had many texts which she always responded to in a timely manner and then had a phone conversation when the time was right. When we had to change the venue from the beach to the hospital chapel due to an illness with my father in law she was there bright and early with chocolates in hand. Everyone thought she was funny and professional and it was just what we had hoped for. We highly recommend Melinda. Scott and Anna Rose Lieberman
