Wow! I never thought we would find the perfect dj!

We absolutely were so impressed with R&S Entertainment. From the start Scott did a great job listening to our requests and really understanding the vision of how we wanted the night to go. Our family's are huge into dancing at weddings and we wanted a company who could keep us going strong throughout the night. Scott was also running the sound for our ceremony which required a second setup.

There were a lot of moving pieces and we had talked to a lot of DJs. Scott made us feel very reassured and we felt confident that he would meet our expectations.

Scott communicated so well with us during the wedding planning and made sure he had every detail in place for the day of our wedding.

When the wedding day came Scott went above and beyond for us! There can be so many things to worry about on a wedding day and Scott made sure the sound/DJ was not one of them!

We also did the premium package that had the uplighting which we loved!

If anyone is out there on the fence on who to go with, you cannot go wrong working with Scott at R&S Entertainment.

DJ Scotty B Amazing!

The DJ was amazing! We have been to alot of weddings and this DJ was by far the best we seen! Would highly recommend this service! We knew we would hire hm for our wedding! The company was awesome to work with!

Amazing DJ and Videographer!

Our experience with R&S was awesome! I would definitely recommend bundling for the videographer as well. Great mix of new and old music, kept the crowd going the entire time. Personal touches and always willing to meet with us before the wedding and definitely went the extra mile.

Perfect DJ!

My wife and I were so happy with our decision to hire Scott as our wedding DJ. He went the extra mile to make sure all of our needs were met, and the music he played throughout the reception was a perfect fit for the "feel" we asked him to create. We definitely recommend him!

Amazing!

I loved how easy they were able to make my wedding by providing a package that included decorations, flowers, DJ, and photography. It made planning my out of town wedding so much easier. Plus Scott and Chantelle are so easy to work with and can be contacted through email to make planning easier for people who work odd hours , like myself.

Dream Team

Chantelle and Scott truly are a dream team! Their services were far beyond what we expected. Scott was our DJ and kept the dance floor going all night. Chantelle did our bouquets, corsages and centerpiece flowers and they were GORGEOUS. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen. We also contracted them to do draping, Uplighting, and a gobo. They were great to work with, very responsive and attentive, reasonably priced, and overall did an amazing job.

We had a great time with this vendor. He was very accommodating.

We were very happy with the draping we had done. We also added a spotlight on our cake and a black curtain for a photo booth last minute and Scott was very accommodating!

R&S was a fantastic choice for DJ and decoration/lighting. Scott was great to work with, responsive, and handled all of the set up of lighting and drapes with our caterer for us. He asks good questions about what you want or don't want from a DJ and proved to be very flexible both before and during the event. Very good deal.

First off, we used R &a S Entertainment for our engagement photos, wedding photos, DJ services, videography and their mirrored photo booth. We could not have chosen a better couple to work with than Scott and Chantelle Barrett!!! Our photos are amazing and they took the time to capture every moment of our ceremony and reception. Chantelle included all the specialty photos that we asked for and was just the nicest person. Scott did our DJ services and set up our mirrored photo booth (our guests favorite addition to our wedding). His DJ skills are perfect and he works with every playlist! We will be using Scott and Chantelle in the future for family photos if they will keep us as clients since they've become like family since the wedding! LOVE, LIVE, LOVE R & S Entertainment!!!

We used R&S for bundled services (DJ, Photography & Videography), but this review is only for the DJ services as we haven't received our photos/video so I can't speak to the quality of the product. Scotty B was amazing from the first email sent. He was responsive & quick to answer all of my questions, &he was so very patient with us as we tried to find the perfect package that met our needs, and our budget. He was kind, considerate & professional throughout the entire communication process over the months of planning. I provided my own music lists that I spent months preparing &he was so receptive &complimentary about them it made me feel all the more comfortable with him. We only had them booked for the 4 hrs of music to be played during the actual reception, but when I came down to the cocktail hour he was already playing music. He said he couldn't help it, that it was too quiet and I had the music on the list so why not. I was so overjoyed and pleased that he took the initiative to just give us that extra service to help make our day special. We had a very specific timeline of events for the reception & he followed it to a T. He made sure our whole evening went smooth, made our guests feel comfortable &made sure they enjoyed themselves. The next day as I drove home & went over the evening in my head, I did wish that a few things were different, but when I had 9hrs of music on a playlist for 4hrs of play time, I know there is not much to be done. The only thing I would change or offer as advice for next time is to just mix up the music a bit more. I had music from several different genres and decades and it seemed to get played in chunks (songs from the 50s/60s, then songs from the 80s, then a few current songs, etc), rather then mixing them up &intermingling them throughout the night. I also wish more of my Latin music was played as that was a main request & I wish more group dance songs were played. But otherwise, he did a phenomenal job!!

Chantelle and Scott are amazing! They did all of our daughters uplighting, starburst draping, draping with twinkle lights behind head table, chavari chairs, gazebo draping, glitz table drapes and candle holders. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the venue was. It was so nice to be able to trust the wedding decor to these two professionals! I can't say enough wonderful things about R&S, I shopped other companies in our area and I am so pleased we went with R&S. Don't hesitate and put your trust in R&S for all your party needs.

Chantelle and DJ Scotty were both amazing! They were very organized, professional, and flexible to our desires! Chantelle did our decorations to exactly what I asked for and had sample set ups that I could come see and choose from. DJ Scotty put together a customized short song mix for our bridal party dance battle that was a huge hit! Our guests had such an amazing time and even sent US thank you notes after because they had so much fun! Everything was thanks to R&S! I highly recommend them, its one service you want done well at your wedding and R&S take the worry and stress off of you so you can relax and trust them to do a great job! Very affordable compared to some other places as well!

Scott and Chantelle are great. We did our DJ, photography, videography, photobooth, bouquets, and chair decorations through R&S. We were very pleased with all of them. Many of our guests complimented the DJ (Scott) during and after the event. Not only that but he was very in tune with what types of music we liked and did not play any music that we didn't like. The photographer (Chantelle) was great to work with. She was very accomodating and checked with us multiple times to ensure that we got the pictures that we wanted. The photobooth was a huge hit with the guests. The bouquets were exactly what the Bride wanted for her and her bridesmaids. The chair decorations exceeded our expectations and added a nice dimension to the seating arrangement and we received a lot of compliments on them.

Overall R&S was very easy to work with and was very willing to work with us every step of the way. Which was very helpful because we were planning our wedding from 900 miles away. They even accomodated our last minute requests! Throughout the entire ceremony and reception they constantly made sure we were happy and that everything went smoothly.

I don't think we could be happier and we would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

Chantelle and Scott were absolutely wonderful! We could not have asked for a more perfect day and they played a huge part in it! They were very helpful and quick to respond throughout our whole wedding process. It was really great to be able to bundle photography, videography, DJ, flowers, uplighting, decor, photo booth and red carpet experience all through R&S Entertainment. The day of the wedding Chantelle and Scott made it relaxing and enjoyable for everyone! We can't thank them enough for making everything absolutely PERFECT! Scott was INCREDIBLE. He was very professional. He wanted correct pronunciations of the bridal party and was spot on. He requested our schedule and kept the reception moving accordingly. He played the best music to keep the attendees dancing. The dance floor was full all night. Many people commented that he was the best DJ they ever heard. Last and most importantly, he made sure that the evening was about the bride and groom (not about the DJ). A++++

You will NOT regret choosing Scott and Chantelle to keep things running smoothly at your wedding. We chose them for floral and DJ services, and their professionalism was second to none. I had a moment about three months into my engagement where I began to get very worried. It struck me all at once the amount of work, detail, planning and organization that was going to be required for the wedding. When you first get engaged you are excited about it! It's so fun making "idea" sheets with all the little touches you want to add....Then reality hits....HARD....and if you are anything like me you begin to panic. How am I possibly going to fit all the things I need to do into each work day/weekend?! The moment I met Scott and Chantelle with R&S Entertainment I knew all of my worries for decorating the reception hall of my dreams were going to be completely erased and instead be replaced with excitement once again!
Scott and Chantelle are two of the kindest, most genuine, most supportive and proffesional people I have ever met. The kind of people that when they smile you know they mean it. The kind of people that have so much confidence in what they do and are SO GOOD at what they do that you are immediately put at ease. I NEVER worried about a single detail being missed or overlooked because they wanted the day to be perfect too! They take immense pride in their work and really do care about you and your day.
R&S Entertainment was also so incredibly flexible!! They will work with you on just about every facet of your wedding....no pre-made, cookie-cutter packages there! They allowed me to COMPLETELY customizable my centerpieces! The day was 100% my husband and I's vision...makes me cry thinking about it!
Please, please, please do yourself and your mental state a favor....HIRE R&S ENTERTAINMENT! You will not be disappointed. They put love, care, and style into everything single thing they do!!

To put it in a nutshell, this company is FANTASTIC! The owner's Scott and Chantelle are the most creative, responsive, professional, and personable folks you could ever want to work with. The décor they created for our daughter's wedding reception was simply spectacular and they took care of literally EVERYTHING! They even provided transportation for the personal items we ourselves added to the set-up (pictures, signs, posters, that type of thing) and put the final touches on the wedding cake by adding the flowers for us. They did the set-up and the take-down. Everything was BEAUTIFUL and our guests were blown away by how sensational the venue looked. We could not have been happier with the attention we received, always feeling that we were their priority when, in fact, I know that they had other clients they were working with at the same time. Do yourselves a favor and take a moment to meet with and discuss your plans with Scott and Chantelle, owners of R&S Entertainment, and you will find yourselves on the way to a meticulously planned, coordinated, beautiful and successful event! Chantelle & Scott are pretty much amazing! I cannot imagine our day going as awesome as it did if it weren't for R&S! Not only are they professional, but they are always very nice/easy to work with people. R&S was an amazing company to work with. The music and DJ aspect of my wedding was my top priority. We decided to go with R&S over the other 'go-to' DJ company in South Bend, IN due to their enthusiasm. They delivered far and above our expectations. The DJ booth set-up was amazing, the dance floor lights were top-notch, and their execution throughout the night was simply flawless. Words cannot describe how satisfied we were with the service you provide for our special day. If I only knew where to start; from the very first time we meet I knew the two of you were the right fit for our photographer and DJ. For us it was a relief and made things easier to have one company capturing the moments (both our engagement photos and wedding day) to Scott creating the perfect atmosphere at the reception. Our engagement session went wonderfully. Chantelle has patience and has a way of capturing raw moments. My husband isn’t a big fan of pictures, but in the moments she captured you couldn’t tell. When it came time to finalize the details for our big day, they drove to us and spent about an hour going over music choices, timing of the event, and a picture list. The assisted and finalizing my “wedding timeline” which was a big deal to me! On the day of the wedding Chantelle made the effort to meet at our hotel and take before pictures of the girls and she just fit in with everyone it was like she was part of the family. Throughout the day she would show me sneak peeks of pictures she was taking after a couple I had to tell her to stop because I was going to cry they were so beautiful. I can’t wait to see the finale proofs! Scott worked so hard on setting up the ceremony site so everyone could actually hear us during the ceremony. I can honestly say everyone could hear us! As for the reception, WOW is all I have to say. The music choices and feel of the night was created by Scott, and it was just perfect. I would highly recommend these two their hearts are in it and it shows in their work!

R&S was so great in providing amazing decoration and lights for our 300+ wedding reception. They worked with us to meet our plans and dreams for perfect day, the quality of their job was unbelievable. All was done on time, they worked through nights to have everything set up, accepting our suggestions and some last minute changes. Scott and Chantelle Barrett were positively fabulous to work with. They have an amazing company and amazing personalities and they are family to me after everything we have been through. I would recommend them to anyone. They offer everything with one company. Really takes alot of stress off your plate when planning a wedding. Their centerpieces were amazing and we asked for the "WOW" factor and they delivered. Our pictures are priceless, they really captured our personalities in the wedding. Scott was awesome! Noone stopped dancing all night! The music was fun and energetic. We rented the photo booth which was a complete hit! He was easy to work with and great communication. Thanks to him, our wedding was flawless. Thanks again Scott!

R&S Entertainment helped make my special day absolutely incredible. I used R&S Entertainment for their DJ, VIdeography, Lighting, and Chair Cover services and I could not have been happier with all of their services and help. I was an out of town bride and Scott and Chantelle worked with me via e-mail, phone, and in person to help create the DJ, Decor, and Videography package for my husband and my big day. They were always prompt to respond and I never waited more than a few hours for a call or e-mail. Scott always had the answers I was looking for and he was so cooperative and flexible even up until 2 hours before the reception when I made changes to the initial information I had given him. All of my wedding guests said that the DJ was one of the best and the variety and type of music he played kept my guests dancing all night. Scott also helped keep the reception organized and moving as an Emcee giving us tiiming of events (cake cutting, first dance, etc.) that kept the evening moving at a smooth pace. I would recommend R&S Entertainment as a wedding company to anyone. Scott and Chantelle helped create an amazing atmosphere with high tech lighting, wonderful music, and beautiful chair covers helping create the reception we always wanted all while catching the ceremony and highlights on tape with amazing videography so we can relive our special day over again!

I do not have anything but good things to say about this company. Their bundled services made my wedding day an enjoyable and easier to plan experience because I knew I was only dealing with one responsive, flexible vendor, who knew what they were doing. Our reception would not have been nearly as amazing if R&S was not involved and I want to thank them so much for the amazing job they did for our wedding!

They did a great job. The music was great the whole time and they worked really good with what the crowed wanted along with what I wanted!! Their set up was amazing as well. Looked great!! Would recommend to anyone looking for this for their event!

The job that Scott (DJ) and Chantelle (fabric drapery/decor) did for our wedding reception was nothing short of perfect. On the most important and memorable day of our lives, they delivered exactly what we had asked for. As anyone who has planned a wedding knows, you thank your lucky stars for the service providers who are consistent, steady, and reliable...the ones who won't throw surprises at you. R&S epitomizes this level of reliability.

Scott showed impressive flexibility and patience with us, as we constantly threw him curveballs. From last minute changes to our wedding party (thus altering our reception introductions) to amendments to the order of our speech-givers seconds before the first speech was to be delivered, Scott was happy to adapt and everything went astoundingly smooth. Scott's understanding of music's role and how it should be managed at an event is superior to anyone we've ever met. Anyone who thinks that DJ-ing an event is simply creating a playlist is seriously misinformed. He has mastered the nuance, flow, and timing of his craft. He knows how to encourage people to get out onto the dance floor to join in the fun. We were truly impressed by the level of dance floor participation Scott was able to garner from our guests.

Scott and Chantelle both handled our every need and request with grace and understanding. It was very clear to us that they are seasoned professionals and that they are genuinely nice people who honestly care about their clientele. Each sit-down meeting we had with them was a pure joy and we would wholeheartedly recommend that anyone planning a wedding (or any type of event), should take a thorough look at R&S Entertainment. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, we perpetually felt that we were their one and only client. R and S Entertainment / Chantelle Barrett Photography are amazing! We would recommend them over and over again. We had engagement pictures taken at the beach, pictures taken with our dogs at a park, and also our wedding pictures before and during our wedding(The Allure, Laporte IN.). Even thinking about taking "trash the dress pictures".
We used their DJ services for our ceremony and reception, can lighting, specialty lighting, amazing around the room up-lighting, we had the works! We also had a photobooth, which was a blast our guest loved it!
They are a fun, down to earth great couple to work with! So get them both!

Scott was very quick to respond to email correspondence, which was key because we were planning our wedding from 500 miles away. He was flexible with timing and met with us in advance to go over details. It took him a couple tries to get some of the more difficult names and the correct versions of songs, but he was determined to work with us to provide the product we desired, and he really did. And he did it for a great price, compared to the competition. Our wedding even had the added difficulty (for a DJ) of being a brunch reception, but Scott took on the challenge very professionally. We recommend R&S Entertainment as a company that is dedicated to providing customized service at a reasonable price.
