We cannot recommend Rona enough! Originally, we had planned to do our own table set-up and decor until we got further into the process and realized how much work DIY is for a wedding with a guest count of over 350. About 1 month before our 2-day event, Rona came to the rescue and helped our vision come to life — she even threw in some of her own decor to help with the overall aesthetic! She was very flexible, and willing to assist where she could, such as with the assembly of our party favors. We will continue to use Rona as our flower and decor vendor for our future events. Thanks again, Rona! -

Barbara Sent on 10/31/2024For their wedding in Half Moon Bay, my son and his wife choose Rona Hullen of R Flowers & Baskets as their florist. Her work was astoundingly great.
My son Sam and his beautiful bride Sophie chose Rona for several important reasons: Professionalism: Rona listened carefully and patiently (and without flinching) when Sam and Sophie asked for a floral design based on TROPICAL and FRAGRANT flowers, in a soft and warm autumn color palette, for a wedding in October. She maintained a positive attitude when Sophie mentioned that among her favorite flowers were GARDENIAS (not in bloom in October). Rona went to extraordinary lengths to source tropicals from locations nationwide. And Rona delivered! Exotic tropicals: check. Beautifully scented flowers: check. Gorgeous flowers in shades of lavender, pink, yellow, white, burgundy, and orange: check. GARDENIAS: CHECK! All the flowers were arranged in the spectacular bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets, in the Oceano arbor, and in the reception room compote vases. The bride and groom, the groom's mother (who volunteered to be the florist's nag, and so had very little to do), the wedding party, and the 200 guests could not have been more pleased. Rona's work was truly outstanding! Thank you Rona, for giving Sam and Sophie, and their parents, the wedding day of their dreams. (Hugs from your favorite pain in the butt). -

R Flowers and Baskets created our guest table centerpieces and florals for our sweetheart table and arbor. The arrangements were absolutely stunning, the flowers were fresh and lively, and everything was set up nice and quick without sacrificing quality! Rona provided beautiful poppies in bud vases as a sort of “runner” across the guest tables which was a wonderful addition and a very nice, welcomed surprise :)
I am very thankful to have found Rona. She is professional, detailed, friendly, and really is gifted at what she does. Rona offered suggestions to best fit my aesthetic without any pressure to take those suggestions, reassuring me, “It’s totally up to you!” I really appreciate that, as well as her flexibility. We didn’t need certain traditional elements as we were working with a limited budget, and a pricing package was happily put together for my exact needs. My DIY faux floral arbor (photo op.) and bouquets made by a family member were never made to feel like a conflict of interest.
Thank you Rona and R Floral Baskets, from the bottom of my heart! Future brides and grooms: if you’re on the fence, just go ahead and reach out to them. You won’t regret it! -

We love working with Rona. She was one of the top flower vendor suggested by our wedding venue. When we reached out to her, she was quick to respond and easy to work with. She asks us what our vision was for our flower arrangements and even helped us when we didn't know what we want. Very straight forward and creative and helpful. She worked with us when we told her that we have our own lanterns to be included on the centerpieces. Her creativeness was so amazing. She even went above and beyond of what we asked her. My husband and I used R Flowers and Baskets for our elopement at SF City Hall. Rona made the process simple for me and delivered exactly what I envisioned the flowers to be on my special day. She was also very flexible in the delivery and stayed in contact to make sure the flowers would look fresh and beautiful. I absolutely LOVED the flowers for my wedding. R Flowers and Baskets delivered everything I had asked for - flowers in multiple shades of yellow and white, a beautiful arbor (which we pivoted and used as a stunning backdrop for our cake) and pretty much made my wedding a dream. Working with Rona from start to finish was so easy and fun despite my doing all the planning long distance. I relied heavily on her as I know nothing about flowers and what is in season when and she was able to create art with the flowers and still give me Peonies in October! -

Rona did my wedding florals with little direction. I gave her the look I was going for and let her run with it and she did AMAZING. I was blown away. She is the hardest worker and has such an incredible style. Communication is super easy as you can text, call or email! We rented all of her amazing equipment (vases, chandelier decor, table, cake stand, etc). She made the entire process so simple and exceeded our expectations completely! Everyone was so impressed with our florals!! I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you Rona!!! -

Rona was very great to work with. She took vision and made it better and more unique than I thought it could be! She was also very honest with me in terms of the flowers I wanted versus what they usually look like at the market. She didn’t want me to have sad flowers so I was able to give her a backup plan. I have personally known Rona for over 10 years. She loves creating flower arrangements and is a master florist. She did flowers for my wedding she did bouquets and an altar display for our Trinity candle. I was very happy! I also use her services to bring joy to my friends and I like her holiday displays. Rona is incredible! Professionalism from beginning to end as what you can expect. The biggest part of my budget for a wedding was spent on flowers as it was a backyard wedding that we really wanted to turn into and experience. The server didn’t do justification of all the flowers she provided. We had floating gardenias in the pool and we also had centerpieces on all of the pub tables that we pulled out afterwards. I picked a very expensive flour because it’s my favorite, orchids. And we pulled all of the flowers together the next day and had a brunch. My daughter came out in the backyard and said, “I feel like I am at a Mexican resort“. Then we continue to enjoy the flowers for another week and a half all over our bathroom and bedroom and throughout the house it was amazing! Rona was the one that gave me the idea of setting up all the food and furniture and arrangements coming out of it. Our wedding was the talk of the town! Everybody I refer to Rona is very pleased with the results. So far I’ve referred her to four people and my flowers were beyond amazing!! You will be very thankful and your guests will feel very special if you choose her! -

Beautiful vision
The wedding of my dreams!!! Rona did an absolute amazing job for our October 2021. She asked me to trust her, and she definitely did not disappoint! I'm an extremely A personality bride lol and the flowers meant so much to our family, as wedding flowers symbolize such big moments in both my husband and I's culture. She did AMAZING, I was blown away, each time table different and unique. When people ask me what my favorite part of our wedding was I say the flowers the centerpieces! It tied beautiful with our wedding leis and was the talk of our special day. Communication was 10000x with her, easy quick and flexible even during a pandemic, she was able to accommodate us. Amazing florist!
I used Rona at R Flowers for my wedding and i can not put into words how impressed and happy I was with the entire experience. Start to finish Rona was amazing. Very attentive and professional.
