Great music for our ceremony and cocktail hour!

The group was excellent to work with. They arranged several custom songs (one a medley) for us and everything they played was a hit. They were professional throughout, and made it very easy to plan and collaborate. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Elegant, Classy, Romantic, and so much Fun!

Quartessence Strings played for our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour. They made my wedding dream come true. The live music helped to make our wedding elegant, classy, romantic, and so much fun. Many guests and my groom and I really enjoyed the beauty and diversity of the music performed professionally and flawlessly by Quartessence. Erin and Laura were both great to work with in the planning stages. I highly recommend them!

Amazing Element to Add to Your Ceremony!

We loved having Quartessence play at our wedding ceremony. They were so easy to work with, allowed us to completely customize the music for the ceremony, and we received SO many compliments. It was great to have the flexibility of a variety of packages to find one that fit our budget. We could not be happier!

You will be thrilled with Quartessence!

Quartessence was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we could not have been happier with them! The music during our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and they kept our guests entertained during cocktail hour with a diverse & fun selection of music while we were having pictures done. They are professional, kind, and fun to work with. Our guests loved them and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in having a string quartet at their wedding. Quartessence is the best!

My husband and I had a picture perfect wedding and the music was the icing on the cake!

Quartessence was the most professional group of skilled musicians we have ever heard and had the pleasure of working with. They helped make the wedding of our dreams become a reality. Our guests couldn’t say enough about them. Very impressive!

Beautiful music and amazing people!

We met with Laura for our consultation and she was amazing!!! She helped create the music line-up for our ceremony and changed a song if we didn't want one included. The music during the ceremony was absolutely amazing and our guests commented on how elegant they sounded and made our venue feel! Totally recommend!

Definitely Recommend!

Quartessence was easy to work with and our guests enjoyed their music during our ceremony. We chose songs from their existing repertoire, and there were plenty of beautiful songs to choose from that fit the atmosphere we were going for. We definitely recommend Quartessence to couples looking for string music during their wedding!

Our Wedding Ceremony

The musicians of Quartessence provided beautiful music that created a wonderful ambiance before, during and after our wedding ceremony. The woman we met with to coordinate was lovely, warm and professional.

We had such a wonderful experience with Quartessence. We knew a few songs that we wanted played during the ceremony portion, however were a bit lost on what else we were wanting. They helped guide us through the entire process of selecting our music. Their range of songs available covers everything we could have imagined. They played both outside and inside for our wedding and were absolutely wonderful. The music they played was the perfect addition to our ceremony and cocktail hour and we could not have been happier with everything.

I didn't think I needed live music for my ceremony until I met these ladies at a wedding expo! It honestly made my ceremony feel more full, and emotional in the best way possible. I would highly recommend!

We hired Quartessence to play the ceremony music for our wedding. They were very helpful with helping us plick our songs and provided us many examples of the type of music we were looking for. They were also flexible with a change we requested a few weeks before the wedding. They played beautifully during the wedding and it really added to our ceremony.

We were very pleased with all aspects of working with this wonderful group of women.
One feature that we especially liked was that we met with Laura Burns a month or so
before our daughter's wedding and were able to personalize the relationship with
Quartessence and also get serious about settling in on the music we and our daughter
wanted. Quartessence played prelude music, ceremony music and postlude.
Very professional, accommodating and fun to work with.

I can't thank Erin, Laura, and the other ladies of the quartet enough for providing ceremony music during our August Wedding. We were put in touch with Erin from Quartessence via a mutual friend. They had come highly recommended and we cannot say enough about how fun it was to work with Quartessence! Communication was great. They were able to compose a string version of a new song that had just been released so that it could be incorporated in our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. The planning process went extremely smooth with Laura. We had a great meeting and talked through the ceremony. It was really helpful to talk things out in person so that we were all on the same page. Again, I cannot thank Quartessence enough for the great music during our ceremony!

I cannot recommend Quartessence highly enough - they are AMAZING!!! Quartessence were very friendly, professional, and met with us months prior to the event to let us know how the process worked and get input on what music style we'd prefer. My husband and I wanted to have a couple OneRepublic songs written for violin/cello duets for the ceremony and they turned out beautifully. Erin & Laura were quick to answer emails and were very attentive regarding our preferences. If you're looking for gorgeous string music for your wedding, BOOK THEM! They're worth every penny.

Quartessence made our big day that much more special. Although we selected traditional music, they have an exceptional repertoire and were extremely professional throughout the planning phase, and ceremony. Many of our guests made an effort to tell us how much they enjoyed the quartet and how it took our ceremony to the next level. I have nothing but good things to say about Quartessence, and am confident that you will too!

I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Laura and how helpful she was when it came to planning the music for our ceremony. My fiance and I are by no means musical experts, but she made it super easy by making several recommendations for us to choose from that aligned with our overall theme of our day. And, of course, the music that day was absolutely perfect! :) Definitely worth the investment!

Quartessence String Quartet was fantastic to work with. They were flexible and super quick to respond to emails. I really enjoyed working with their lead. She was excited to help us pick out songs and was very open to anything we came up with. I highly recommend them for future weddings.

They were absolutely wonderful to work with! Their costs are very reasonable and we received so many complements on their music for our ceremony. Everyone was so friendly and they were very willing to give suggestions to music as we didn't have a long list of music we wanted included.

Quartessence was a wonderful addition to our wedding! They have a comprehensive list of song choices, from classical to contemporary. We went the contemporary route; the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to was not on their list. They found an arrangement and learned it for us! I would highly recommend them for a wedding.

We would highly recommend Quartessence String Quartet. Laura and Erin are very responsive and helpful through out the whole process. The music selection is extensive and the team offers solid professional expertise regarding music selection. It was stress free! We had a very short turnaround during the holidays and they were able to put together the most beautiful performance for our wedding day. So many wedding guests mentioned the wonderful music. We couldn't have imagined our day without them! We plan to use Quartessence for future events.

The outstanding strings made our wedding most memorable. Quartessence made their way almost a mile through our woods to set up in +90° weather and a flash thunderstorm. Our guests remarked how fitting it was to have this class of music out in the woods near an ancient effigy mound. Recommend highly.

They always cared for providing the best service. All I can say is they are very professional in everything they do. In my wedding the ceremony and cocktail hour were very pleasant. They even adjusted to my traditions and I loved absolutely everything.

We would highly recommend Quartessance to make any occasion special. We used them for our wedding and couldn't have been more pleased. Their large music selection and assistance in picking out the perfect songs to enhance our bid day, made the overall experience a joy. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of the music and how their talents were truly the centerpiece of our big day. Again, we would highly recommend Quatessence without hesitation.

This highly professional and talented quartet added so much meaning to our daughter's wedding. They will arrange and play virtually any request so the wedding music is unique and personal. They have great ideas if you're not sure about selections. They are extremely accommodating and adaptable. For our next family wedding, we won't hesitate to use them again.

Quartessence did a great job performing at our ceremony! It was so hectic the day-of and we arrived later than planned to the ceremony venue so we didn't even have to time to check in with them. They started playing right on schedule with no direction from us...they're clearly experts at knowing the ceremony flow and the timing of everything. The string music added an elegance that really completed our wedding at the Capitol. Would highly recommend! They were easy to work with from the get-go and clearly know their stuff!

We never planned on having string music at our wedding, but our visit to the Quartessence booth at a wedding expo left an impression on us. From then on, we couldn't stop thinking about our ceremony and cocktail hour without it, and Quartessence made it happen. Erin kept all of the logistics and finances organized. Laura made planning and music selection a breeze. Our guests were delighted, especially by the Harry Potter medley during the cocktail hour.

Quartessence was amazing to work with for our wedding ceremony. I had a Catholic ceremony in which the priest wanted his own musicians for the music. Quartessence was very understanding and worked well with the musicians from the parish. They were extremely responsive to my emails and professional. They have a wide selection of options to choose from. Very reasonable pricing when compared to other companies.

The members of Quartessence String Quartet are so friendly and easy to work with. When selecting song choices, they were so flexible and gave me many great suggestions. Due to distance, we were able to have all of our planning conversations over the phone, and I was so satisfied with how everything turned out. The guests loved the music played during my reception! Although sometimes slow at responding to emails, they are eager to help you put together the perfect playlist for your big day.
