Great DJ & Rental Services

Working with Jason as our DJ and linens vendor was super smooth, easy and fairly priced. This DJ was a preferred vendor for our venue which gave us confidence they were the best choice and knew how to navigate the nuances with the venue’s noise rules and misc quirks of the space. Adding on the linens as it was our only rental was easy as well which helped us consolidate vendors. Payton was our DJ day of and was sweet, professional, and clearly knew how to MC the event well and naturally. They set the event up for success by allowing us to share playlists, timelines and notes ahead of a final call so we are aligned and the DJ can take the plans and run with it day of.

We were referred to QPP by a friend and are so glad we were! We worked with Jason and had a great experience. He was extremely easy to talk to and very responsive at all hours. We got a great deal for photobooth and DJ and probably would have gone with him for lighting as well, but our venue (Palm Event Center) only allowed preferred vendors. Hoping to see QPP on that list!

Jason and his wife ended up being our photobooth attendants and they were such a blast to work with! They really know how to go with the flow and get people excited. We got so many compliments on how great the photobooth props were and how fun they made taking pictures (especially from all the older guests that were harder to entertain). They even came with their own materials to make a photo album for us that everyone signed! Jason even came out and rapped to a song on the dance floor and just got everyone hyped up. It was well timed, natural, and such a fun and memorable moment!

LOOK NO FURTHER. Quantum Party Productions is a fantastic company to work with if you're looking for DJ or lighting services for a wedding. My husband and I hired QPP to DJ/MC and provide lighting for our wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley this past May and they did an excellent job. The owner of the company, Jason, ended up DJ-ing our wedding himself and he was so well organized leading up to and during the event, kept us on time, worked with our officiant to determine the best approach/use of mics and made sure our parents, best man, and M.O.H. knew exactly when to give their speeches and helped with transition. A couple weeks before the wedding, Jason scheduled a call with me to run through our playlists (shared via Spotify) and make sure he knew every special song we wanted played (ceremony / first dance / parents dance / etc.) I would HIGHLY recommend QPP for any wedding - they rock!

My experience with Jason was absolutely AMAZING. He came early to set up, and even had someone double check to make sure I was still wanted the same songs to walk down the isle. Which I REALLY appreciated. I personally did not give Jason any songs outside of my first dance songs to play. Just letting Jason read the crowd and play music to the type of people on the dance floor, made the night. He DJ’d for almost 6 hours and everyone was on the dance floor the WHOLE time (so sweaty and way too much fun). I would definitely refer him to any friends family, or strangers. He was professional, kind, fun, and great to have at your party. A DJ that can read a crowd like that, is so so so important. I had MANY referrals to Jason and his crew and so glad they pointed me his way.

We were referred to QPP by a friend who used them at her wedding and got an amazing and affordable deal for the Photo Booth for our June 7th 2018 wedding that came with an album and art supplies for our pix. Jason was always very attentive in answering all my questions and emails and was able to let me pay it off on a payment plan up until a month before the wedding. They knew the location of the venue, were on time, and set up nicely! Staff was great! They had a huge variety of props and I loved the gold sequin for the backdrop (which you can choose form the colors they have). I even loved the follow up email post wedding! Thanks for making this Photo Booth experience a great one! I would use them again for sure!!

We used Quantum Party Productions (Jason) for our wedding at the SF Ritz Carlton and were SO HAPPY with the result. They crushed it. The executive summary is: super easy to work with, great ideas for the flow of the wedding, amazing photobooth, and did an amazing job keeping the trains running on time through the reception.

First, we met Jason at his office in Fidi, which was very convenient. He had a binder that made many of our reception choices easy. Being certified wedding planners, he also had many ideas for how to sequence out the reception, suggestions for the various dances, etc. He made us feel very confident that the reception would go off without a hitch.

Our photobooth vendor completely flaked a week before the wedding (something that is a serious problem with small vendors of weddings). Luckily, Jason was right there. The photobooth props were the best I've ever seen at a wedding and the photobooth attendant was simply incredible. He was so helpful in suggesting props, getting people fired up, and keeping everything moving. I don’t think I've ever been to a wedding where the photobooth guy didn't mail it in, but the attendant Jason had was amazing.

Finally, Jason on the wedding day was awesome. Without giving him individual song recommendations, he played music that had all our guests (including the older people) up and dancing literally all night. He was also amazing at keeping our timeline moving, reminding us to cut the cake, coordinating the light levels in the room. He truly owned his responsibility of making sure the reception was a success.

Jason and Quantum Party Productions is the way to go! We had DJ Jason at our wedding last week and we had so many compliments on the great music. He has a really great sound set up and offers several other services including lighting and photo booths for a great deal when booking together. Working with him was effortless because he knows his music, can read the crowd, and his event experience was evident on how professional and knowledgeable he was in knowing how to throw an amazing event. My husband and I were recently married at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park, and Jason did an amazing job DJing the event! From the planning stage to the day of the event, he was professional, responsive and all-around outstanding.

We were planning our wedding remotely, and he was able to work with us through Skype. He provided us with an extensive catalogue and useful suggestions for our wedding music. He was also able to obtain our requested songs for our First/Last Dances, as well as all of our other specifically requested music. We loved that we were able to tell him genres of music that we and our guests would probably like (there was quite a range of ages at our wedding), and he skillfully felt out the crowd to play great background music during lunch and dancing music once lunch was over. The music he played had the dance floor full with guests of every age dancing all at once – it was quite a hit!

One of the areas in which he shined was how he was able to adapt to the pace of the event while making sure we kept on schedule. His familiarity with the venue was also invaluable as the Brazilian Room has many very strict rules about music. We tremendously appreciated his all-around experience and skill, and we thought he did an amazing job with everything (our guests told us they thought he did fantastically too)! We wholeheartedly endorse Quantum Productions and especially Jason. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, you will be thrilled with them.

Jason was awesome! He brought the party to the wedding and really helped to make our wedding memorable. My husband and I enjoyed working with him beforehand and appreciated his professionalism. The amount of different light options and ideas he had really helped us to create the special environment we dreamed of for our wedding. The Photo Booth and props were the best I have ever seen. Our friends and family were so excited and coundn't stay away from it the entire night. At the end of the wedding, they had put together a photo album with a copy of every photo that was taken that night. It is definitely something we will cherish forever. Jason thank you for making our day special and we have/will recommend him and his company for years to come.

Once we spoke with Jason there was huge sense of relief. We used QPP for Day-of wedding coordination, our DJ and Lighting. When we first met with Jason we realized he was perfect for us. He helped us figure out the flow of our day and got us to think about details we wouldn't have on our own. Our wedding day was executed perfectly, and if there were any snags, we did not know about them! Perfect. If you're DIY'ing your own wedding planning I highly recommend using QPP for day-of... hand the execution over to the professionals and you'll enjoy your day so much more.

I cannot begin to thank Jason and his team at QMEP enough for the terrific event that they put on for our wedding. Not only was Jason impeccable in terms of following through on all the big and smalls details of our wedding, but he always did everything with a certain calmness and grace, which goes a long ways given the natural stresses that come with organizing a wedding. He was very easy to work with and flexible in terms of supporting our music choices and then filling in the gaps with music that matched our requested genres, styles, and personalities. Jason also introduced the entire wedding party into the reception exactly the way we had asked him to do so. QMEP helped to make our wedding day perfect. Not only was Jason a great DJ, but he provided input and helped us pick out the indoor lighting for our wedding. They also had a great selection of options such as photo booth, other event planning services, decorations, etc. Jason was professional, easy to work with, and helped to coordinate our wedding day schedule as we had no official wedding coordinator. QMEP did our lighting, photo booth and we had Jason as our DJ. Everything was amazing! The music was great, and our guests were raving about it. Jason was also super friendly and helpful leading up to the wedding. He was very easy to work with. The photo booth was also a huge hit. We received a disc with all of the photos on it, and there was also a scrapbook table at the wedding which was so nice and unexpected. I would highly recommend working with QMEP.

We couldn't have asked for a better emcee and DJ. Jason helped keep the whole event flowing smoothly and kept us on track with the timeline. That was so helpful!

The music selection was perfect and Jason's mixing between songs was seamless. I don't think we've ever seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding! Many of our friends and family that we spoke with afterwards paid compliments to QMEP and said that the music was fantastic. We know this made the day even more fun for everyone; Jason nailed it!

Also, the photo booth was awesome and our guests had a great time with the props. The attendant was really nice and did a great job as well. QMEP even provided us copies of all the photos from the booth via Dropbox for us to enjoy after the wedding.

We highly recommend QMEP for their professionalism, experience in day of planning, and lighting techniques!

Jason @ Quantum was awesome! He made my wife and I feel very comfortable in the days leading up to the wedding... we could tell we were dealing with a pro and that really brought the anxiety level down on our day. The music was a superb reflection of our tastes and our guests had a blast!

Our wedding was extremely fast-paced, and of course, everything didn't go according to the plan... our ceremony went longer than expected, guests lingered by the bar during transitions, speeches went long, you know, the usual. Jason didn't blink... he kept calm and stayed in contact with me and our coordinators and kept the whole show moving right along.

Jason, thanks for helping making our big day a very special one.

We met with the DJ a few weeks before our wedding and spoke with him about the specifics for ceremony and reception. We were very specific in our song choices for the ceremony and the music that was to be played at the ceremony. Jason was wonderful! He definitely understood our "vision" and asked several questions. For the day of the music was AMAZING! He did a great job at the ceremony and the speakers for the microphones were at the perfect level. It was easy to hear our officiant and the readers. The music at the ceremony was great and he was a great announcer. Very personable and definitely did a good job at feeling out the crowd and the music. The dance floor was full the entire wedding!!

I found QME through my venue (Brazilian Room-the most amazing venue for 1/5 of the price of other venues in the area with less of an atmosphere).

I was very nervous planning everything from Chicago. I have been to weddings where the DJs were bad and it definitely affected the wedding reception negatively , but I pretty much had to put my trust in the Yelp reviews because I wasn't planning on making it out in time to test everything.

I cant begin to explain how fantastic Jason was! I realize this sounds cheesy but he knows how to read a room and play the perfect music. People keep commenting on how great the music was. We had a pretty shy group of people and I don't think that dance floor was empty once the entire night.

He played the perfect mix of today's hits (I keep having images of my elderly aunts and uncles dancing to Watch Me by Silento) and classic favorites (Shout and the Twist). We heard just about every type of music that night but the song choices were perfect for our group!

I highly recommend QME for DJ. We used them for up lighting as well-they were cheaper than the other rental company and Jason set it all up. He also played our ceremony music so I wouldn't have to pay $600 for a violinist. Everything was perfect and I couldn't recommend a more perfect DJ.

Jason and Kit Shires were so flexible and accommodating for our wedding. Jason even arrived earlier than scheduled to set up the market lights. He was our DJ too and really kept things on track all night and kept the party going. Everyone was out on dance floor. His wife, Kit was the perfect day-of-coordinator. I didn't have to worry about anything at all because I knew she was going to keep it all together for me and she did! Our timeline was pretty tight and she kept the whole thing running smoothly.

I had Jason as my wedding planner and John as my DJ and they were both amazing. I literally cannot think of a single thing that went wrong, which really speaks to QMEP's professionalism because.... it's a wedding! I'm sure things were going wrong! But the fact that everything was solved and I never had to worry about a single thing really shows they know how to do their jobs well. Jason was great and checked on me throughout the night to make sure everything was going smoothly for me, which I really appreciated. He also made sure all of our things like favors and centerpieces got wherever they needed to be and when people cleaned up at the end of the night it just magically disappeared, lol. I literally didn't have to worry about anything. I got a million compliments on how pretty everything looked and the awesome DJ and music and multiple people told me they had never had so much fun at a wedding. Definitely hire this company! :)

Jason was an excellent DJ for us! He was professional and easy going and very responsive to our needs. The audio for both the outdoor ceremony and the reception was great. He made it a point to check in with us throughout the night and make sure everything was OK for us. We were really impressed with him.

I cannot recommend Jason as a DJ enough. I planned most of my wedding on my own, so my vendors were pretty important.

Things I loved about Jason:

1. He was very relaxed and totally knew what he was doing, esp at the Brazilian Room, the venue where the wedding was. He gave my officiant a lapel mic and set up a mic for readers. He had a wireless mic for speeches.
2. Meeting with him before the wedding was really helpful because he gave me piece of mind about the order of events.
3. He played music that I liked (hip hop) and music that older guests liked too. He did it in a way that everyone felt like they got what they wanted.
4. On the day of, we were sort of a little stressed about the procession, so he helped organize that.
5. He helped with the flow of events by making quick announcements: cake cutting, dancing, dinner, last song, etc. This made guests feel at ease.
6. The market lights looked great.

I got a ton of compliments on Jason's work and I'd definitely recommend him for Bay Area weddings or other events.

We had Jason DJ and MC our wedding. He was fantastic. He was organized, efficient and he had all the equipment on hand.

As an MC, he was fantastic. His tact and control of the crowd was amazing, knowing how to tactfully encourage people to move on when they dragged yet encouraging people to speak when need be.

As a DJ, he knew what music to play at just the right time. I had more than a few people ask if we picked the music for them.

At the end of the day, I would hire him again, without hesitation. I would recommend him to any friend, without hesitation. Best yet, I know it would work out perfectly.

QMEP is the on-site vendor for Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont and booking this venue gets you a wedding planner--Natalie! She is AMAZING and so thoughtful, kind, thorough and on-top-of-it! She was absolutely wonderful and our day would not have been so wonderful without her. We also used Jason W. from QMEP as our DJ. He was also wonderful--played everything we wanted, listened to and read the crowd and made the reception SO FUN!!! Everyone told me how great he was. The owner, Jason, is also so wonderful to work with. I really only have fantastic things to say about everything at QMEP!!! They really, really, really made our day special and helped it to run so smoothly. I don't know what we would have done without them!! Thank you QMEP!!!

I cannot recommend Jason Shires and QMEP highly enough. He did an absolutely stupendous job at our wedding reception. He nailed the musical vibe that we were looking for throughout the various parts of the reception: cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. And he did so with minimal instruction; he just knew exactly what to do!

He also was perfect as the emcee and knew exactly how to speak and when to speak. He read the crowd like an expert, graciously took requests from our guests, and even adjusted on the fly to unscheduled toasts and impromptu singing from some of the guests in attendance.

Jason was a breeze to work with before, during, and after the reception. I offer him and QMEP my highest recommendation.

Quantum music did an outstanding job at our wedding reception. We chose Jason as our DJ. The thing about Jason is that, not only is he a great DJ; he is also a great MC. A lot of the time, that is hard to find. Jason was very professional, and took time to ask us exactly what we wanted and what our music vision was for our reception. We also purchased up lighting from Quantum and he was very patient in finding the color of lighting I want for our reception. He does not try to sell you extra stuff. He is very honest and recommends services appropriately. We were not sure we needed an extra hour of music because we didn’t know how long the crowd will dance. Jason recommended that we don’t sign up for an extra hour based on the experience he had at receptions. He was also good at recommending what are appropriate times for events such as toasting, cake cutting, bouquet and grater toss, etc. . . . He also did some wedding games such as the signing game and game for winning the center piece. He even did the shoe game to stall for us when I forgot that I didn’t wear the garter and someone had to run to my hotel room to get it. Our guest loved the games and they had fun with it. Jason played all the music we wanted and some from the online request from guests based on our preferences. Jason adapted really well to the crowd. My husband is really into different kind of music and Jason was able to play the songs he wanted at the right moments. I was teasing and told my husband that he was bromancing with Jason, because he loved all the songs Jason played.

I found Jason Shires and QMEP at a friend's wedding and was very impressed and booked him for my wedding. I wanted a DJ that was not In your face or taking over the reception. Jason was exactly what I wanted and expected. He was very accomadating and provided the perfect music and atmosphere. I had many guests tell me what a great job he did. Jason did an outstanding job at our Son and Daughter-in-law's wedding. He provided a nice mix of music and kept the party going well. Jason was the DJ at our wedding at the Brazil Room and he is great! He saved the day twice by setting up two microphones for the ceremony and finding an impromptu scrapbook (which I forgot) to use for the photo strips from the photobooth. Music for the ceremony and reception were exactly what we asked for. His emceeing skills are awesome and he was a big help when trying to figure out the finicky projector and computer setup for our slideshow.

We used the open air photobooth and set it up outside on the Brazil Room patio. This was the first time it was setup outside and it turned out great. They also provided hats and other props which the guests loved.

We were on a budget and found the price very reasonable for the DJ services and the photobooth. Jason is great to work with and is very responsive with emails. We only met the day of the wedding and there were no problems at all!

Jason did a great job as our DJ. Many guests came up to tell us it was the best wedding music they had ever heard! Its been 3 months since our wedding and we are still receiving feedback from our friends and family that it was one of the best weddings they have been too. I have to credit much of the success to Kit. Kit made the night flow so that we could just enjoy ourselves. She met with us ahead of time and talked to us about how we wanted the evening to flow and then on the night of she made sure we transitioned to dinner, cutting the cake and throwing the bouquet, etc so we didn't have to worry about it. Kit is a true professional and she far exceeded my expectations of a DJ. She also did an amazing job of choosing the music to keep everyone on the dance floor. We even extended the music because so many people were still dancing. We also loved the lighting that they provided. We had an outdoor reception in an olive grove so we had twinkle lights and uplighting in the trees and market lights on the dance floor. Kit and Jason helped us determine what lighting would be best and it was beautiful. The photo booth they provided was a huge hit with our guests. They also provided funny hats, sunglasses and other props so our friends and family had a great time taking pictures. We provided a scrapbook for them to leave a copy of the photos and a message. I think this was our best splurge because the scrapbook is my favorite keepsake from the wedding.

Kit and Jason at QMEP are positively wonderful! My husband and I had been referred to them by a family member, and I'm thrilled we were, because I wouldn't have wanted another DJ. Jason was our DJ at our wedding, and he was extremely professional. He made sure his two set-ups were ready to go ahead of schedule, he dressed according to our expectations of what guests would wear, he worked wonderfully with our caterer on timing throughout the evening, and maintained an awesome selection of songs by reading the crowd! I suggest going to their office in Martinez if you can, as they have lighting and other options available to make your day perfect.

Really, no words can describe how much we love Kit and Jason at Quantum Music. My fiance first met with Kit when we were looking at DJs for our April 30th wedding. We loved how down to earth and normal they were compared to the other HUGE DJ showcase we had just gone to, and got a great vibe. We booked them as our DJ, and ended up booking Kit as our day of coordinator, as well as having Jason and Kit add lighting for our reception as well. Every single part of it was perfect, and our wedding truly wouldnt have been the same without them.

Jason ended up being our DJ, and provided music for both the ceremony and reception. It was all flawless, and we got so many compliments on the music choices. They listened to what we said, and his choices were perfect. Jason is SO friendly, and after the first meeting we felt like talking to him was talking to an old friend.

Kit was out of control amazing as our day of coordinator. She provided some much needed support and assistance with all the small details of the day. We cant imagine what we would have done with out her. She truly went above and beyond on her duties, and put in so much time and energy. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Her prices are so reasonable, and she helped greatly diminish the stress of the day. We had so many small details of the wedding, and she did them flawlessly.

Jason also helped us with lighting design for our reception venue. It was a fairly normal room, and we really wanted it to feel rustic, almost barn like. Jason and Kit knew we were working on a fairly tight budget, and they did so much for us. It looked better than we could have imagined. Jason worked closely with our reception site, and strung up gorgeous market lights and up lights to really give a great vibe to the reception.

Everything about Quantum is great- you will not regret it if you go with them! They provide outstanding customer service and really seem to care about you as a person!

Jason is a fantastic wedding DJ and emcee! He kept my wife and I and our wedding guests on the dance floor all night. My wedding was 1 month ago today (10/10) and guests are still telling me how much fun my reception was. Kit and Jason were fantastic from the first moment I inquired about their services. It was very personalized and I didn't feel like 'just another bride' as some other DJ's had made me feel.
As many brides know, things change a lot during the planning of your big day. Kit was so responsive every single time I sent an email, to make even the smallest change. When I did want to add a few things, Kit helped me keep it within my budget!

We provided a list of songs to play during the ceremony, bridal party entrance & songs we'd like to hear during the night. Every song was played at the right moment, exactly how we requested. No awkward silences or mistakes. The reception was a great party thanks to Jason's knowledge of how to gauge the vibe of the crowd.

We were very happy with our choice of DJ. We talked to several DJs and bands and couldn't have gone with a better company.
Kit and Jason were very professional, they knew what to do every step of the way, suggested some good ceremony details and found all the music we had on our list. They were very flexible on price and just so so nice to have business with. We also have met and discussed all the last minute details before the wedding and again couldn't be happier with their services and client handling.

Jason and Kit are the best.

The thing that I love about them is that they cover all aspects when it comes to putting a wedding together. They are very professional, detailed, organized and on time. They offered many different scenarios to meet some minor challenges we were facing to make sure things ran smoothly. They even came up with some new ideas to make our wedding and ceremony totally unique and fit our style to a “T”.

Jason and Kit both went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. They never missed a beat. I never had a problem reaching then they ALWAYS return my calls/emails.

With me being such a control freak, I had no worries of letting Kit work her magic decorating my wedding. She knew exactly what I was envisioning and brought it all to life.
Jason did our wedding pictures and I couldn’t have been more pleased . He captured all the moments that we wanted, he did an excellent job, not one bad shot. Kit was also the DJ playing all the latest hits and classic R & B we wanted to keep the party going!

We were both so pleased Quantum Music Event Planners, I wish I could get married all over again just to be able to work with them again. I so wish I would have found them when I first started planning my wedding…it would have saved me a lot of sleepless nights.

All in all Jason and Kit are the most kindest, funniest, nicest couple you could ever work with. They are hard workers and experts at what they do.

I am sooo happy we found Jason!!!! We orinignally had another DJ who flaked on us last minute and it turns out that it was a blessing in disguise. Jason was the perfect DJ/MC. We couldn't ask for anything more.

He was really good at staying on scheudle and directing everyone with what to do and when. He and Kit set the perfect ambience with the uplights and drapery. Our guests were dancing all night and even made comments about what a great DJ we had. At one point, he even started singing with the music and totally surprised everyone! It was a nice little bonus and our guests loved it. Jason is very, very good at reading the audience and reading people in general. He could tell that although we were a formal bunch, we could all be pretty goofy too, and he played into it. He was on time to everything, very responsive, super fun, and we are so pleased. Next time we need a DJ, we know exactly were to go. We would recommend him to anyone. Jason- YOU ROCK!

There are not enough stars to represent the wonderful job that Kit & Jason did at our wedding at Tilden Park in Berkeley. The music selection was fabulous- taking into account our requests yet utilizing Kit's great sense of timing and a few choices that did not occur to us but were perfect- the music flowed incredibly from pre-ceremony to post-reception. Jason was fabulous- the pictures were gorgeous, he was accomodating to requests, and extremely perceptive of our priorities and people that we might have wanted photographed more...
Their prices are excellent, and the quality represents a MUCH higher price range. Definitely consider them for your wedding or event- separately or together, you can't go wrong!

I valued Jason higher than any other vendor I used for my wedding. His professionalism and experience far exceeded my expectations.

Being a DIY wedding, I did a bit too much planning on my own. That being said, our reception ran a little later on schedule than expected. We just had our wedding on Valentine's Day. Quantum Music was superb!! Jason was super easy going and very good at reading the crowd. I did not even have to pick any songs and just trusted him with the song list for the night. All the guests enjoyed the music.
Since we did not hire an MC, he also played the part very well. He is very responsible. During the equipment setup, he even ran out of the hotel looking for us because my projector was not setup even though it was not even his responsibility to set it up for us. The evening went very smoothly and according to schedule even without an MC nor a wedding planner because Jason followed a schedule that I had given him. If you need someone to take a big chunk of 'chaos' out of your mind on your special day, Jason is definitely the one to hire!! QMEP is also very reasonably priced!! Quantum Music was a great! Jason was the DJ for our wedding on March 7. He was a consummate professional. He dressed in the wedding colors, played the music I requested and riffed on the music selections to put together a great atmosphere and dance party. He worked well with our caterer and photographer and had just the right level of enthusiasm on the microphone for the dance songs and announcements.

QMEP was GREAT!!! Jason kept me together and rolled with any last minute changes I had. He was professional and listened to my guests whenever they wanted to hear something he played it and kept people out on the dance floor.

In the pre-planning phase Jason met with me near my work 2 times and on my shcedule. I had no idea what I was doing and he made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen that day and had really great suggestions, things I would never have thought of myslef. I also think it is important to get a DJ who is familiar with your venue, which Jason has been working at the JSM for years and the staff and owner know him and work well with him.

Jason and Kit are fantastic. The entire process was incredibly professional from the beginning. They have been doing this for awhile, so that they have the process down to a science which makes it incredibly easy to do. You can tell that they care about you and making the day go well. One of our big things was that things kept moving and being on time. Jason was phenomenal at making sure that happened and checking with us to make sure we were on track. I used Quantum Party Productions for my wedding at the Brazil Room this past March 2018. We went with Jason as our DJ, and it was very worth it. Going to other weddings, I didn't think I'd notice when a DJ was bad (e.g. poor transitions, etc), but I did at a previous wedding I attended, so we wanted a quality DJ. It was great, I never once had to think about music as Jason reads the crowd, and everyone said they had a great time. Jason was great about providing information beforehand and giving us background into his services, he assisted with getting people to where they had to be, speeches, and introductions. He gives you a list of songs to pick out and recommendations, which was very helpful for me. I was overall very pleased and happy with Quantum and would very much recommend them to those looking for a DJ in the bay area.

Jason was very helpful through out the whole planning process. He listened to what we wanted as far as music choice and he was very good at reading the crowd when playing different music. He was available for answering any concerns and worked great with the our other vendors. He is reliable and easy to work with.

Because of how pricey everything is in wedding land, it took me and (especially) my hubby a long time to hire a planner. I knew I needed help, but the cost of it all kept spurring me to try to do it all alone.
Well, several anxiety attacks later, I finally met Kit. She proposed an extremely reasonable package that included Jason as the DJ. After reading their many great Yelp reviews I took the plunge!
My only regret was not hiring them sooner. We signed on for the month-of package, but Kit was available to help out as soon as we signed. There were occasional delays in communication but nothing major.
Meeting both Kit and Jason (and their sweet daughters) at our location was so reassuring. They energy they put out is: We will make it work, however you want to do it. They were very patient with all our agonized decision-making.
And they delivered!
Kit coordinated with all my vendors. On the day of, they set up tablescapes and lights. They executed our vision so beautifully, I cannot get over the image of how everything glowed to perfection. Kit helped me with a wardrobe malfunction and was always looking out for me.
Jason was great as a DJ and emcee. At first I was leery of having an emcee, due to my experiences at other weddings with obnoxious or just plain corny emcees. But Jason was professional, checked in with us beforehand as to how much we wanted him to be involved, and was a calm and assured presence throughout.
The music was great -- he built up the energy end people were already starting to dance before dinner was over! A few jumpy transitions here and there, but overall super fun tunes that kept people dancing all night!
The best part was at the end of it all, my husband, who'd had his doubts, said to me: They have exceeded all expectations. He was really impressed.
Now, when he talks to his buddies who are newly engaged, he tells them that getting a wedding coordinator is the best investment we could have made.

Quantum was so helpful througout my whole planning process. I ordered my invitations thru them and decorative lighting. The DJ was great , he kept the crowd going all night and everyone was having so much fun dancing. I would recomend them to anyone!

We worked with Jason and Kit for our wedding in April '09. We found them to be very professional and organized. Wonderful DJ

We went with Quantum Party Productions based off a recommendation from our caterer, and we're very glad we did! After emailing back and forth with Jason, we were told that we'd received a complimentary upgrade to a more experienced DJ. We worked with John Harris, who was a consummate professional. He played all of our special (nerdy) songs, was on the mic exactly the amount we wanted him to be, and mixed the music perfectly.

Jason was an awesome DJ for our wedding. He did everything we asked and more! We had confidence in him to feel the crowd and he did just that. The dance floor was crowded all night! Jason was great and if we have an event again requiring a DJ, he will be the first one we go to.

We were completely happy with the services Jason at Quantum Music provided to us. He was always extremely professional, but fun to work with at the same time. He is very good at what he does and everyone enjoyed his music. He not only kept the party going with his music, but directed our reception perfectly. Thank you very much!

We met with Jason for consultation; he provided excellent suggestions and creative ways to orchestrate our reception. During our wedding Jason was very professional and took charge leaving us with nothing to worry about. He had a soft, polished manner and kept the flow going throughout the day. His intuition regarding song choices and mixing music was right on the money. He even got out on the floor to demonstrate the slide. Our guests had a great time and we were so grateful to have the wedding of our dreams. Thanks Jason!

Jason and Kit Shires (the couple that runs Quantum Music) came through for my wife and I in a big way. Jason was incredibly calm and professional, on the phone, during our pre-wedding meeting, and during the event itself. He had excellent suggestions for music and activities that kept our guests happy and on their feet. They were very considerate when working out a price (which is incredible for what you get) and remembered every request that we had made. It was a little difficult to coordinate with them at first when we were still shopping around but I have to assume that's because I was a crazy ball of stress (we booked them with only one month to go!).

Jason did something amazing during our wedding that really made me appreciate the thought they put into every event they host. At one point during the reception, a big dog ran into the building (our wedding was at a park, no dogs allowed off leash) and was jumping around the room. Thankfully, the wait staff was able to shoo the dog out before it could do any real damage, but I was furious. There were signs all over the place saying "Private Event", why would those people let their dog run around?! I got up from my seat next to my bride to give the oblivious owner a peace of my mind, but Jason was already up.

He took me by the shoulders and said, "I've got this. This is not your job. Your job is to go be with your new wife. Now I'm gonna go do my job, and you go do your job." And just like that, I knew he was right. He went outside and politely got the dog owner to leave, while I sat down with my bride and was completely happy all over again. He knew just when to step up and just what to say to fix the situation and make me feel better, and I can't thank them enough for it.

I highly recommend you contact QMEP for any of your music needs, you'll never meet a nicer, more capable team!

We had a wonderful experience with both Jason as well as Kit, (She was the DJ at our wedding). I dealt with Jason for the planning part but met with Kit twice, and she performed at our reception. Both of them were great throughout. Kit was so sweet and very helpful with the planning. She did an excellent job with mixing music. My family is Persian and my husband's family is American so we had to play both kinds of music at our reception. She had everyone dancing the whole time. She was very calm and very professional.
We also had a special monogram light made for our reception to be projected onto the dance floor, and it turned out beautifully.
They were flexible with the price as well and when you are on a tight budget like we are, Jason worked with us alot. We will definitely be using them for our next event and have already recommended them to our friends!

Awesome company with great value! I was very pleased to have Jason as our DJ because he also doubled as an amazing MC for the night, He worked well with my wedding coordinator and the party was going strong with his music choices. Highly recommend :)

Our DJ John Harris was awesome! This is a very busy company and sometimes the response time was slow, but the service was always very friendly.

We discovered Quantum through a bridal show in the SF Presidio. The owner, Jason, was very friendly and approachable from the start, and it was great working with him. The company overall was very accommodating, friendly, and they really listened to what we wanted and how we wanted music and lighting to enhance our day. The cost was very reasonable and the quality was great. The only issue we had was during the ceremony. We were supposed to have mics for both the bride and groom and we did not receive them. The situation was handled very well and we still ended up very satisfied with the services we received. Recommend to everyone. :)

Absolutely beautiful place for our wedding ceremony among trees and a Gazebo with a historic house back drop. Jason deals with all weddings at the Patterson House Lawn in Ardenwood Park (officially under the business Quality Event Planners jason@qmeplanners.com). Hard to get a hold of him on the phone many times but always willing to answer questions and help, really kind and quite flexible. We loved our wedding there!

We hired Jason from Quantum after several vendors recommended him and after we learned that he did a special pricing for the Brazilian room in Tilden Park. He has loads of experience, was easy to talk to, flexible with any changes, and very pleasant to work with. He seemed to have a lot of experience and the entire day went off well, DJ wise.

Unfortunately, I have to say that though he was pretty responsive to my husband and I, he wasn't as responsive to my day of coordinator and this made me nervous. Thankfully, towards the end, he seemed to communicate with her more, but learning that "every vendor but your DJ has gotten back to me" kind of stressed me out. I figure it was wedding season and I know he was busy, but I was very nervous about that.

Great pricing for the Brazilian Room though!

Jason was the DJ for our wedding. Everything went well and smoothly on the day of. Jason showed up early and did the double set-up for both the ceremony site and recpetion room. He played the music we requested and cued the whole event nicely. We are very happy with the service on the day of. I took one star off for the unresponsiveness we encountered during the planning process.

Rentals and DJ

Although we did have some trouble with responsiveness, the day went flawlessly. We used their services for both rentals and DJ services. The DJ that played our wedding was great, even with the sparce information we gave everyone was out on the dance floor dancing the night away!

Led us on and then canceled a week prior to event

Quantum took our deposit and then gave us a combination of unresponsiveness and partial responsiveness "call you tomorrow" that led us to believe they were working with us. On day one, they were full of possibilities. When we finally got in touch with them to do final prep, they said they'd rather not. They canceled less than a week before our event, costing us hours of stress and time. If they go unresponsive on you even a week in, I would suggest you look elsewhere.
