I had my wedding in Mar 2025 and a number of my friends recommended Lori to me. She merged with QG Florals in the midst of working with her but everything was seamless and she committed to everything she promised. I gave her a vague idea of what I was interested in. She asked for some picture samples of what we were interested in. From there, she brought everything together and gave us ideas to help complement my bridemaids' dress colors and work with our venue's style. She was truly magnificent to work with as she guided us thoroughly through the process. She gave us a sample viewing of the flowers - we were in awe! But on the day of, we were beyond impressed, Lori over-delivered beyond our expectations. I can't recommend Lori enough and her price-points are very reasonable.

I had such a great experience with Lori and her team! Initially I was intimidated by choosing flowers for our wedding, not having much knowledge at all. I was connected with Lori and I immediately knew she would be a perfect fit. She was so kind, creative and reassuring in our initial discussions. Her and her team were flexible with meetings and every time we reached out we had a well thought out response very quickly. For our wedding day, everyone was punctual, friendly and supportive, everything came out absolutely amazing and they were hands down one of the easiest vendors we worked with. Lori and the team at Cress Florals were absolutely incredible! From start to finish, Lori went above and beyond to make my wedding day unforgettable with the most stunning floral arrangements. Despite me being out of town, Lori made the process seamless by accommodating a remote floral sample viewing, which I deeply appreciated. She was so flexible and gracious about some last-minute changes I requested just weeks before the wedding. She went above and beyond to accommodate me and I really appreciated that.
Her responsiveness and helpfulness were unmatched, and the bouquets and arrangements she created were beyond BEAUTIFUL—truly a dream come true! breathtaking florals!!!
Lori is incredible!!!!! People are still telling us that our florals and chuppah from our Oct 2024 wedding at Midtown Loft and Terrace were some of the most beautiful they've ever seen. She and her team are absolute professionals. We met with them over zoom to go over our vision and colors, and then we got to go into her studio to look at actual samples of the centerpieces and bouquets. When I say that my jaw dropped when I first saw the arrangements, I mean it. Everything from the choice of colors, flowers, vases, candles etc. was so well thought out. On the day of, she and her team set everything up in advance, and everything looked fresh and perfect. Lori even came to the hotel where I was getting ready to personally deliver bouquets to me and my bridesmaids, and the boutonnieres to the groomsmen!

Amazing service, expertise, and BEAUTIFUL end result
Working with Lori and the Cress Floral team was such an amazing decision. Lori was so accommodating to our budget and was able to understand our floral vision better than other florist that we talked to prior to booking. Once we booked, Lori hosted myself, the groom, and my mom at the floral studio to show us examples of the centerpieces and my bridal bouquet. It was such a fun experience and her team really brought our vision to life. Leading up to the wedding day, Lori made us feel so comfortable and confirmed the order. On wedding day, she was so accommodating to our schedule. Our guests RAVED about how gorgeous all of our centerpieces were. The photographer even mentioned how beautiful the bouquets were for myself and the bridesmaids. Cress really went above and beyond to make sure our vision aligned with our budget and to also provide gorgeous flowers and amazing service! Would highly recommend Lori and her team :)

Cress did the most amazing job for our June 2024 wedding. Working with Lori Cress at Cress Floral Decorators was OUTSTANDING! I was planning my daughter's bridal shower and wanted a flower/garden party theme. Lori and her team from Cress Florals are a dream come true!! Lori herself is so sweet and understanding and beyond patient. She really cares about her clients, listening to all the different opinions and personalities and just is so gracious. She really wants everyone to feel at home when they come to visit her and building relationships is just so natural. I told Lori over the phone what I had in mind and sent some inspo pics, my mom came in who is as picky as ever, Lori came out with our sample center piece and in one shot, she nailed it. We all were in awe!! From all my center pieces, the royal staircase, my incredible lucite chuppah with floating orchids, my bouquet, the girls bouquet, flower girl crowns, boutineers, the escort card arrangement, cocktail hour, Lori just absolutely exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happpier with the outcome day of! My husband and I got married at the Boathouse in Central Park on March 19 and Cress Florals is one of their recommended florists — all I can say is — Brides, Grooms, look no further!! Lori and the whole team at Cress Florals was absolutely amazing and a dream to work with!!! They took care of us from start to finish, made incredible recommendations for specific types of flowers, and knew exactly what to do at The Boathouse since they work there all the time, we did not have to worry about a single thing. Our center pieces were the most stunning and like nothing I had ever seen before. I may have driven her a little crazy but Lori, you made my dreams come true with the arch of my dreams!!! Lori and Cress Florals brought our wedding to LIFE. Literally. From our initial meeting with Lori, we felt comfortable and in the most experienced hands. She was warm, enthusiastic and most importantly, hopeful. Hope was so important during a time when so much was unknown, including if we were even going to have our NYC Boathouse wedding due to Covid and the ever-changing guidelines and restrictions. I cannot say enough good things about Lori and Tom Cress of Cress Floral Decorators. Together with their team, they go above and beyond to make their clients truly happy. They put their hearts and souls into their work, and I would recommend Cress to any bride in the NY area - without a single hesitation.
From the intro phone call with Lori, my mom and I knew we wanted to work with her. She knows her product and you can sense her passion for what she does. When we finally got to meet in person for the sample meeting, I felt like I had known Lori for years. It was amazing to have the chance to see samples of our centerpieces and bouquets in real life before the big day.
About a month before my wedding, I had a total change of heart with my bouquet and some of the flower selections we had made months prior. Lori worked with me tirelessly to articulate my new vision. All I wanted was freesia, freesia, freesia - which was hard to get - but Lori and Tom made it happen.
The day of my wedding I was absolutely floored when I saw my bouquet for the first time. I will never forget the moment that Lori hand-delivered my bouquet to me - and I could not have been happier.
Lori and Tom also created a garland for the back of our getaway car and - oh my goodness - it was more than I ever imagined.
While those two pieces were my favorite of the day, I also loved all the ceremony and reception florals. Everything Lori and Tom created was total perfection. Even more than that, they are so wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. They listen to you and never once do they try to upsell you. I have so much gratitude for Cress. Their priority is making their clients happy, and they certainly deliver.

Lori and team did a great job for our wedding! Our flowers, especially my (the bride's) bouquet were absolutely beautiful! Our ceremony arch and all the table centerpieces also looked lovely.
We talked to three different florists and ended up choosing Lori because she was the easiest and most pleasant to work with and had reasonable prices. Planning an out-of-state wedding wasn't easy, but the florals went smoothly because we were able to have multiple productive in-person meetings during the few times we visited Cress Florals prior to the wedding, and Lori and her team were also very helpful and communicative over email and phone. Lori has great taste and is good with matching colors, but is also very flexible and always willing to take our opinions into account.

We spoke a few times about my general vision and went through possibilities and I appreciated her professional opinion and guidance! Very transparent with pricing and able to work within our budget without pressure. When she showed me the samples for the wedding I was floored with how stunning everything looked. On the day of our wedding everything looked more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and Lori really transformed our venue into the romantic and classic summer celebration I had hoped for. Lori is a true gem. She is incredibly kind, thoughtful, patient and so talented. I knew nothing about flowers, only the aesthetic that I wanted for my wedding, and she was able to deliver it and go beyond my expectations. She helped me source the best and affordable tables and chairs, and managed the rental picks ups/drop offs completely autonomously. It was so seamless. When I changed what I wanted for my bridal bouquet last minute, she didn't hesitate and delivered the most unbelievable bouquet. She was truly a pleasure to work with and I would 100% work with her again and recommend her to friends and family!

Cress Floral Decorators always makes events beautiful! I've known them for a long time, so I was excited to ask them to do my wedding. Lori is an absolute dream! She is kind, patient, willing to work with your budget, gives you great feedback about what is realistic or looks best with your venue and dress and of course, is an artist with her floral design.
We wound up not meeting with Lori in person to go over anything or see any flowers. I really wasn’t sure what the end result of our flowers were going to be until I stepped foot in our venue on our wedding day. It was so perfect and beautiful it brought me to tears.
I appreciate Lori working with us despite not having a huge budget. Some florists said they would only work with us if we wanted to spend a minimum of $15-20k but not Lori. She has reasonable prices and understands not all of us have $20k sitting around for flowers lol.
I cannot recommend Lori and her amazing crew enough for your wedding! I promise, you will be in great hands and will love your flowers.

Wow!!!! Laurie and Tom AMAZED us and we can't say enough amazing things about them and their team! We did all of our planning via zoom meetings with Laurie, and she is incredible! My daughter was in NYC, I (MOB) was in Los Angeles, and Laurie was in their shop. My daughter's wedding flowers were over the top gorgeous everywhere in the venues! Laurie and her team did the flowers for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, and everything was even more gorgeous than we had hoped for! the centerpieces both nights were spectacular, the bridal bouquets were fabulous, and the arbor for the wedding ceremony far exceeded anything we had imagined! Laurie is wonderful to work with, and she totally understood my daughter's vision and turned it all into a reality! Can't recommend Laurie, Tom and Cress Floral enough! Beautiful flowers and a great experience!
Once my husband and I chose my venue, we were given the names of four florists we could work with. We quickly settled on Cress Floral, and met with Lori in the shop several times to go over our vision for what our flowers would look like. Lori understood my vision right away, and in a month’s time we had seen mockup versions of our high and low centerpieces. Lori was also flexible and able to accommodate our wedding date change (due to COVID). A few months before the wedding, we met again to see mockup bouquets and finalize the details. All bouquets and centerpieces were delivered on time and looked so beautiful in the Boathouse on the day of our wedding. I cannot recommend Lori and Cress Floral enough!

Cress Floral made our wedding experience so so smooth and seamless, even in the middle of a pandemic! Lori's incredible eye for floral design really brought what I envisioned to life, and she was so honest, transparent, and creative during the entire process. Even though the pandemic left them short-staffed with so many other weddings and events on the books, Lori and her team found time to accommodate all of my questions and updates. They truly transformed my wedding reception venue, and I was in tears at how incredible the arrangements turned out. Lori, Tom and the Cress Floral team were an absolute dream to work with. Lori is super easy to talk to and always gave her honest advice. I told her my vision and the team put together a beautiful centerpiece that was perfect! When I wanted to make adjustments but was unsure of what to adjust to, they ordered different flowers to show to me so I could more easily make the decision. The best experience of my daughter's wedding.
Lori Cress and her design team were the ultimate professionals. Their expertise and creativity was off the charts. My daughter's wedding looked amazing and days later the flowers are sitting beautifully on my dining room table. We were married on July 21, 2021. Cress Floral was beyond easy to work with. I found Lori through the Knot when I was searching for a florist locally. Cress Floral hit it out of the Park !!
Lori, Tom and the entire Cress Floral team have been lifesavers during our COVID time wedding. Cress Floral was our first choice back in February 2020 when we first started planning our wedding. We visited the team at their beautiful storefront and Lori and Tom worked with us for close to two hours going over in fine detail our floral concept and colors. We had preliminary mockups of my bridal bouquet that very day! The quote was not long in coming either, with Lori making sure she stayed within our budget but still giving us the special Mondial roses in the colors we loved. Fast forward to March 2020 when everything had to be cancelled due to COVID, Lori was understanding and promised to keep in touch with us. We decided to go ahead with our wedding this April 2021, we reached to Lori again and she invited us back into her shop to redesign our concept (now with a Spring Cherry Blossom Theme). Even though our wedding became a much smaller event, Lori still gave us the same consideration, reimagining the bridal bouquet, arch and table arrangements with the utmost care and attention to detail. We walked away from our consultation confident that Cress Floral would be able to pull off our concept to the tee. In the coming months, Lori and Tom were so responsive to our changes whether it was adding corsages for the moms and grandmas, modifying the arch dimensions or requesting special roses for our cake design, they always responded ASAP and with the utmost professionalism. My fiancée and I always felt like we were the most important wedding she had. I cannot say enough about how warm she is and how great her attention to detail is. She mentioned she had a background in fashion and design and I can certainly see how it has made her an excellent wedding florist!
The day of our wedding, Lori personally delivered my bridal bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres. Seeing how happy she was for us made my day even more special. When we walked into the venue we were impressed and overwhelmed at the beautiful arch Tom created for us. It was studded with roses, cherry blossoms and overflowing with elegance. The centerpieces for the guest tables were perfectly sized and soo fragrant, everyone wanted to take them home! Finally, our sweetheart table was such a stunner. As you can see from the pictures the flowers from Cress really encompassed the Spring Cherry Blossom theme we were going for. No one could have done it better and I have to say Cress Floral is my go to florist now. I have gone there for everything, funeral flowers, Mother’s Day flowers, etc always receiving the most attentive care from Lori and her team. I would definitely choose Cress Floral again and again for all my floral needs

Cress Floral is the absolute best! I worked with Lori Cress and she was phenomenal. She personally created my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets. Perfection at its finest!
Our wedding day was one of the most challenging things to plan, but when I say Cress Floral Decorators made my life easier, I cannot even express completely how much. Lori, one of the owners, was a doll to work with. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and she was always in constant communication with us about every little detail, which to us as the bride and groom, is always really important and very hard to find. I have never heard so many compliments about a florist before like this. She personally came and delivered all of our flowers early in the morning, and set up the whole venue with her team. She made that room look perfect. The ambience was outstanding and beautiful. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Guests were beyond impressed at the whole arrangement. Lori & Tommy are 2 of the most sweetest, talented, professional, and passionate people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I (along with many other brides of 2020) was a COVID reschedule bride. Scurrying to replan everything after our destination wedding fell through, every florist down by me in the DE/PA area I reached out to couldn’t help me. Without any hesitation, Lori & Tommy said absolutely (along with giving well wishes and congratulations). I prepared my own pick up arrangements being 2 states away & they were so beautifully packed & informative on how to keep them fresh and bright for the day of. Sharing my vision with Lori who truly listened to what I wanted and hearing her articulate how my bouquet would look, I knew it would be beautiful. I knew this was one thing I didn’t have to stress about going right. I was wrong because beautiful doesnt cover it- it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING OMG !!!!! She went above and beyond and created the most gorgeous boho/whimsical piece I’ve ever seen (and all their stuff is amazing). The bridesmaids pieces, flower girl, & all boutonnières were so perfect and complimented my piece perfectly. Our wedding would not be what it was without Lori and her team at Cress Floral Decorators.
From the very first call, Lori was professional, insightful, patient, and incredibly kind. I had a vision of what I wanted and she was able to hear it over the phone and bring it to life. I only had to meet with Lori one time in person, which was really helpful since I was planning the wedding from another state. At our in-person meeting she created the exact arrangement and bouquet we had discussed on the phone. I felt so at ease leaving the meeting that day knowing that I did not have to worry about our floral decorations, because I knew they would be perfect.
On the day of the wedding, Lori hand delivered my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets to our apartment. She then HAND delivered my groom's boutonniere all the way uptown. She came to our venue for the ceremony to check on the decorations and make sure everything was running smoothly. I'm not sure how she was able to be everywhere at once, but I was so thankful that she was! Since the wedding, we have heard nothing but especially positive feedback from our guests about the decor.
I really cannot say anything other than THANK YOU to Lori and her team for making my day exponentially more beautiful. You are the best of the best!!!!!

An Extraordinary Team!
Lori and Tom Cress are the incredible duo behind Cress Floral that poured so much love, attention to detail, and patience into our wedding arrangements. We were truly blown away once we saw all of our wedding centerpieces, entry arrangements, etc. We received countless compliments on the flowers on our wedding day. Multiple guests told us that our flowers were ‘the most beautiful centerpieces’ they had ever seen. We met with them both several times before our big day and they were incredibly patient, kind, and resourceful. Lori even hand delivered the centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner, AND her and Tom were both there on our wedding day as well. We were blessed to have some amazing vendors at our wedding (band, photographer, etc.), but we received the most compliments on the flower arrangements. Credit to Lori and Tom on going the extra mile beyond our lofty expectations. They executed on more than we could have even asked for. We cannot recommend Cress Floral enough - a truly extraordinary team.

The Best Florist In New York!!
Words cannot describe what a pleasure it was to plan our wedding with Tom and his staff at Cress. Every visit to their lovely store, we were greeted with smiles, refreshments and good spirits. While my wife did most of the floral planning with Tom, I could tell that he made things super easy for her. Two days before the wedding, we had to add another table to the reception and Cress was able to have an additional centerpiece ready with no trouble at all. The flowers were beautiful and they arrived on time just as Tom predicted.
@Tom, thank you again for all of the accommodations you made for us. Our day just wouldn't have been the same without you! We will definitely recommend our friends to you.

As every bride knows, flowers/the decor are extremely important for your wedding day. I was struggling to find a florist when I stumbled across Lori and her team, and they were amazing. I spoke with Lori numerous times in the leadup to my wedding, and she patiently listened to all my ideas and offered suggestions to help me create the most beautiful day. Amazing Florist for Loeb Boathouse
Lori and Tom were so great to work with for my November wedding at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. The Boathouse requires you work with one of their four florist vendors; I met with three and Cress was the most competitive on pricing. Plus, it feels like Lori is an extension if your family throughout the process and she cares so much about working with each couple to bring their floral dreams to life. We settled on florals early and I changed my mind after the first meeting. Lori was beyond accommodating and helped create samples of everything so I knew exactly what the florals were going to look like on my wedding day. I must say, the flowers were even better in person. I can't recommend Lori and Cress enough!

Every part of our experience working with Cress Floral was so enjoyable and fun! Planning a wedding can obviously be a very stressful time but Lori and Tom made the process seamless and from our first meeting I knew they had a feeling for what we wanted on our day. We met months and weeks before the date to look at options for my bouquet and our table arrangements - but I couldn't imagine how beautiful everything turned out the day of! The first time I called Lori, was from a grocery store wandering up and down the aisle in tears because I couldn’t find a florist that wasn’t trying to price gauge me because of where my wedding was being held. She didn’t know me, it was 7pm, and she talked to me until I was calm and told me flat out what pricing for specific flowers were. I felt so confident working with her, I would text her photos and she knew every flower just by looking at them for 2 seconds. She worked with me to build an environment for romance, she didn’t tell me what I had to spend “for a wedding at the garden city hotel” like other vendors. Instead she worked with me to create the atmosphere “I” wanted. She made me a sample centerpiece before I committed to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I felt so confident signing with her, which is more than I could say for any other vendor. My mom even used her for my bridal shower Bc no florist could recreate the intricate French centerpieces that they wanted- but LORI did! The day of my wedding I was terrified. Not to marry my husband- that was the only part I wasn’t nervous for. But let’s be real these Long Island weddings are intense! So much money for one Day, and it’s all worth it if it all goes RIGHT. But what if it goes wrong? Is it wasted? That’s all I could think about and I hated that. I still remember getting my hair done, so nervous, and all of a sudden LORI walked in with this giant smile, this gorgeous bouquet filled with spray roses and ranunculus and anemone. I was so blown away and realized how everything had come together, I was holding in my hands the first real evidence of my wedding, and proof that something had gone right if not better than I imagined! I had entrusted role of florist to a real artist and a responsible woman, and I am so relieved and happy that I did. All my worries went out the window and I started to enjoy my day. I got my giant dress on, and in my hand was the most amazing bouquet. Holding it felt like an Olympic trophy and completed the picture. My wedding would not have been the same without her flowers. My favorite photo would not be the same without that perfect bouquet. When I went down for pictures lori had done exactly as I asked. A few centerpieces were ready and set for pictures by the couch. They were all set on time! When I saw my husbands boutonnière I was so thrilled. It was the cutest double ranunculus in the most beautiful burgundy which I told her how much I wanted. When it was time to walk down the aisle, I saw Lori, crying and taking photos behind the scenes. Everyone thought she was my aunt! I can’t tell you how much it meant to work with someone with so much heart. This is a business, but it is also important to remember this is a business that deals with love and she is the only vendor I worked with out of the (20+) that remembered that. Working with her made me feel like a BRIDE. The moment I saw my arch to get married under and then the centerpieces on my tables- was just the most amazing and reassuring moment for a high anxiety working woman like me. Speaking bride to bride, I’m telling you this is the florist YOU WANT. I had the most gorgeous flowers. They were fresh, fabulous and romantic. Lori and her team were so fluid and on time. The flowers were the only thing I didn’t have to worry about. I will keep using Lori as she and her busniess are a treasure.

Wedding vendors, whether it be DJ, Flowers, Photo, Video, they are all so crucial to your day and you work closely with these vendors beginning to end, so its VERY IMPORTANT that these vendors are easy to work with and very respectful. Well, Lori and Tom were hands down the best to work with. From the very first meeting, I felt like Lori and Tom were family. They were responsive to every email, phone call, or question I had. When I had meetings with them, they were easy to talk to, showed me so many different floral designs and options. They picked flowers and let me smell them. They shared the pros and cons of every idea I had and I felt SO informed! Tom and Lori truly know their flowers! As far as their work! I WAS SPEECHLESS when I saw the final product the day of the wedding. Their work is truly incredible. My bouquet was EXACTLY what I ever imagined. I had 13 bridesmaids and every bouquet remained vibrant and alive from 10 am to 1 am the next day. The centerpieces thrived for days after the wedding! Everyone was complimenting my flowers. Working with Cress Florist was by far one the most memorable experiences we had during the wedding planning process, and here's why--they managed to create an experience that assured us we were working with quality people and professionals completely deserving of all their accolades while simultaneously making us feel as if we were talking to lifelong friends hanging out in our living room having a laid-back chat over coffee. There was a casual-exceptionalism about them that instilled confidence in us and we just knew the flowers were going to be exactly what we hoped for. Except we were wrong. They were much better than we hoped for. In fact, one guest was sure we paid a fortune for our flowers, citing an amount that was more than double what we actually paid. Needless to say, we were beyond grateful for Cress and their team. They truly delivered and contributed to us celebrating the best day ever--with the best flowers ever.
If you want to know a bit more about the specifics of the process, here it is:
1. We found and met with other florists. We really liked some of them but wanted to do our due diligence.
2. We went on The Knot and searched "Best Florist in New York" and found Cress Floral Decorators.
3. We called and talked with Lori and scheduled a consultation with her and her team.
4. We arrived at Cress and were greeted by Lori and her husband where she set-up coffee, pastries, and tea in front of a flatscreen with different floral arrangements displayed for us to enjoy.
5. We land on our colors, inspiration, and examples.
6. A few weeks pass, as we're emailing back and forth with pictures of flowers over Pinterest.
7. A few more weeks pass, we head to Cress for a sample viewing and leave a deposit.
8. Two weeks before the wedding, we emailed/called with final changes and Lori responded that day confirming the changes.
9. The wedding day arrives and we show up to truly spectacular floral arrangements.

We were recommended to several florists but after having met with Lori it was obvious that she would be our choice. Her attention to detail, willingness to work within our budget, creativity and enthusiasm made myself and my daughter feel as we were the absolute most important event on their calendar ! Wedding venues you can look at, cakes you can sample and caterer's you can taste but a wedding florist you need to take on trust that they will put together a beautiful wedding for you. We went through two wedding venues with Lori and Tommy and they planned out every little detail of our special evening. Honestly as the groom I think flowers are something we underestimate quite a bit.
When the big night finally came I was absolutely stunned. The table pieces they arranged really made the evening. The Chuppah was the most spectacularly beautiful ornament I have ever seen at a wedding. They took an admittedly blank canvas of a wedding venue and painted us a masterpiece.

I was recently married at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, NY. The Boathouse provided us with a list of florists we could contact and we interviewed a few before selecting Lori & Tom at Cress Floral Decorators. Hands down it was one of the best decisions we made because they were amazing. Lori and Tom are both pleasures to work with and they truly captured our vision for the look and feel of our wedding, all within the stated budget. From the gorgeous bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to the floral crowns they made for my parents as a last minute request, their personal attention to every detail both large and small really made such a difference. I cried when I first saw the beautiful chuppa they had created for us because it was so special and exceeded all expectations. The floral and candle arrangements were all exquisite and gave the room a warm feel and glow- exactly what we wanted for our winter wedding. On the day of our wedding, Lori was there throughout to make sure every last detail was perfect. It was. I cannot thank them enough for making our day so special.

Cress did the flowers or our wedding at the Central Park Boathouse and it was by far the most beautiful part of the day, not to mention the most enjoyable!!! Everyone at Cress makes you feel so welcomed when you come in, especially Lori- they do not pressure you into anything, they show you all your options, they listen to everything you want (even when you change your mind three different times)- they are absolutely amazing. We wanted a flower wall to be the backdrop for our photo booth, and they made the most EXQUISITE flower wall we had ever seen- the guests are still commenting on it- so many people didn't even believe it was real it was so perfect! The centerpieces were exactly what I had requested, and my cascading bouquet was flawless- Lori even brought extra ruscus to the hotel room the morning of the wedding incase I wanted it to be longer, and I did! They let us know what would/wouldn't or might not be possible, but would do everything they could to make it happen (as opposed to other florists who just flat out said NO to anenomes). They were forthcoming about all costs, and when on the day-of the tapered candles they had bought didn't fit in the holders, Lori rushed over to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy new ones to make it work. I didn't even know this until a month later- she wanted everything to just go smoothly and wonderfully. We can't say enough about this phenomenal team, and if I ever get to throw another party again (or can handle it)- they will be my go-to!!!

Took my breath away-- that's what happened when I walked into the Boathouse on my wedding day. It was pure magic. And I knew it would be the first time I met with Tom, and he right then and there began creating samples of my bouquet. I nearly cried when he came out with the arrangement I knew I would be holding. And there is nothing like working with Lori-- she truly loves her brides and is so dedicated. She worked with me on every detail and accommodated me when I had last minute changes, all while staying within budget. I loved seeing her when she personally delivered my bouquet on the morning of my wedding. The service Tom and Lori provide are top notch, both personal and professional. Where do I even begin? Lori and Tom were absolutely amazing to work with and provided the most gorgeous arrangements. It was important to us to have lovely flowers that complemented our venue, but I don't know much about different types of flowers/greenery and Lori provided really wonderful guidance throughout the process. They are so talented and so kind; you can tell they really love what they do! Lori personally delivered the personal florals to me on my wedding day and it was so nice -- just like seeing a friend. I should also mention that there was a pretty tight setup window at my venue and Cress executed perfectly. I wasn't there to oversee so I don't know how they managed to do it, but everything looked just perfect when I arrived. I am so glad we were able to work with Cress and can't recommend them enough!

Yet this was nothing compared to what they did for our larger wedding this summer. Everything from the chuppah to the main centerpiece to the bouquets to the accents was BREATHTAKING!!! Lori and Tom made us feel like family from the moment we walked into their shop. They patiently worked with us until our vision became a reality and really went out on a limb to make some of our more unique ideas happen, including adding fairy lights to our centerpieces and fashioning me a special headpiece to wear during the party. Cress floral is such a great choice. From the first session that we sit down with Tom and Lori, we know their professionalism and flexibility. They have great taste for flower design and can always make the piece look pretty and live for the event. I visited them few times and made lots of change as the days going close to my wedding day. They always get back to me/my ideas quickly and give me suggestions/price quote with good responsiveness. On the wedding day, they delivered my bouquet/other decor accurately to the locations, as I wanted some pieces to be delivered into different location. Everything is on time, fresh, pretty, elegant and smooth. All my guests love their flowers and they end up taking the center piece home after the wedding.

Lori and her team went above and beyond. Her taste is excellent. I could not have been happier with the flower arrangements and overall service. We had a rather small flower budget, but the end product looked like a million dollar budget. I have never seen more beautiful flower displays. She really listens to what you want and provides flower displays that surpass your expectations. I would highly recommend Lori to anyone. Besides her great taste in floral arrangements, she really thinks about what would be best for the space and the couple. Moreover, on the day of the wedding she was not only at the hotel, but stayed throughout the ceremony to make sure everything went smoothly. An amazing experience overall.

My experience with cress florists is one of a kind. This is a local business-family run, at a highly professional level. Cress did my bridal shower and my Wedding- both times I wanted elegant but colorful centerpieces-and for the wedding I wanted an extravagant floral chuppah. Not only was Lori (the owner and operator) up for the task, she was unintimidated by my crazy requests. Cress Florists has so many connections all over the world for the most unique of flowers- my personal favorite Blue Dendrobium Orchids imported from Holland. There are no limits when it comes to options available to Cress. I believe that they will give you the best price possible and get you as exactly close to your vision for any event's style. Also, their choices are so tasteful and fabulous. Not only does the couple know everything- they truly care about getting as close to perfection by being detailed and well prepared. I was provided with samples of each centerpiece and specific detailed descriptions of each piece. With my ceremony planned to be outside - Cress had a back up plan months in advance for just in case situations. They are floral designers. The morning after my event they delivered my flowers to our house where they lasted nearly a month after. It brought us so much joy. I can and will continue to keep saying how pleased I am with the outcome of my floral decor. These are Florists you can count on which is the most important thing. Lori and Tommy are communicative and easy to reach. Very reliable. They are a dream team. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. In every way. Thank you Cress!!!

For my initial meeting I brought some inspiration photos and described my dress and they knew right away what I was looking for. A romantic\vintage look, simple and elegant. And someone was always available to talk about any questions or suggestion I had. All the flowers were delivered on time and looked beautiful. The bouquets, boutinnieres, corsages, and flower petals were in perfect condition and very securely assembled. This is a vendor that knows what they are doing and made every part of the experience a pleasure. Which is extremely valuable when you're planning a wedding.

Lori and Tom were absolutely outstanding when they helped me arrange all of my flowers for my wedding. Not only did they provide excellent services in delivery, set up, and communicating back and forth, but they also provided their passion into making beautiful, artistic choices in the flowers they chose for me.
When I got married at Douglaston Manor, my bouquet made feel like a million bucks. It was so classy and elegant. Seeing all of the flower arrangements as I walked down the aisle made me also feel like I was walking into a secret garden :-)

Lori and Tom were fantastic! At first we had no idea what we were looking for and a lot of ideas as to what we did not want. With Lori's help and guidance we pinned down a real vision and I even found my new favorite flowers.
Lori created the perfect atmospheres for the different parts of the evening. My ceremony felt like a beautiful dream and dinner was perfectly romantic, the centerpieces were exactly what I wanted but had no idea how to articulate when we started out. In addition to all of this, Lori incorporated pine cones (something of personal significance) into our boutonnieres perfectly even though the request came through on fairly short notice.
Lastly, our venue contact had nothing but wonderful things to say about Lori's team -- he's done hundreds of weddings in our venue and not only loved the look we had created but he repeated how efficient, clean, and friendly they were to work with multiple times. I can't stress enough how wonderful it was to work with Lori and Tom and sincerely hope I get a chance to work with them again in the future!

Lori MADE my wedding day. I didn't even feel like I needed a day of/ month of wedding coordinator because of her responsiveness and help with my special day. She is so experienced and truly cares about each of her brides. She was always available for a phone call.
I was also totally discouraged initially having a wedding in NYC and dealing with the city pricing, and going to them was a sigh of relief. They were willing to work with our budget, weren't pushy at all. They also added things on last minute we asked for with no problems. I felt like they were never trying to "work us" and what they delivered was worth all the $ in the world.
Also, on the day of the wedding, Lori was running around like a crazy person giving us all of our flowers at various locations through the city, all the while orchestrating the setup at the venue, and she kept a huge relaxed smile on her face for the entire day. Our venue looked BEAUTIFUL and it was all thanks to Lori and team. They brought our vision to life and I can't thank them enough for everything.
Their team really is the best and it's worth the trip out to Queens where they are based to get the personal touch every bride wants on their special day.

Lori and Tom are truly amazing people! From the moment I met them I knew I was super lucky to have them as my wedding florists. First off they are VERY passionate about what they do. They truly love their job and go out of their way to make sure every bride and every wedding they do is perfect. I didn't know anything about flowers but learned so much from them! I told them my color scheme and they very patiently taught me about different flower types and what would look good with the colors I had in mind. They truly have an eye for what matches. As my color theme was around burgundy they encouraged me to go with a burgundy calla lily for my bouquet. They also helped color coordinate the most elegant bouquets for my bridesmaids. They are perfectionists that make sure everything matches together beautifully for your wedding. They even saved a swatch of my bridesmaid dresses and found the perfect pink roses to complement them.
On Wedding day I was so so happy with how gorgeous everything was! My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were so lush and full of fresh flowers. They were honestly the nicest bouquets I've seen in any wedding! They even delivered mine and my bridesmaids bouquets to our hotel suite in Manhattan the morning of our wedding so we would have them early in the morning for our first pictures. The centerpieces were truly spectacular, lush and full of complementing colors that impressed all of our guests and made the entire room pop.
What touched me the most was how much this couple cares about every bride. I explained to them that I was looking for a ceremonial table for my Persian ceremony built from wood and only a few inches high. I couldn't find anything like this in stores. Tom not only offered to build it but did this a week before the wedding and delivered it with the rest of the floral arrangements to our venue in Queens. They care so much and are so talented! You will not find this type of passion about flowers and people anywhere else!

Not only did they help guide us through the process of selecting a look and feel -- as well as providing us with specific flower suggestions -- but they made sure we got to see sample bouquets before we committed, made from flowers they knew would be available for our wedding weekend. Needless to say, we loved the samples. Fast forward to the wedding itself, and the result was gorgeous, bringing our venue to life and helping to make the entire evening unforgettable. Our guests raved (and still do, even months later!), and every time we look at our photos we're reminded of the incredible experience we had with the Cress family.
