Food AND Service… incredible
We hired Q fire catering to cater for our wedding and the service and food, especially the steaks were incredible! It was so easy to work with them and I definitely recommend them for any event that one may have!! -

Perfect Catering Experience for our Wedding!!
Terry and his crew helped to make our special day magical. We did a food tasting a few weeks prior to the ceremony, and we were instantly sold! The food portions were more than plentiful!! There was enough food left over from the food tasting to share with our friends.
On the day of the ceremony, his staff arrived on time, and they were so professional and friendly. The food was amazing, we heard about it from our guests all night long. The groom and I ordered a steak meal, easily one of the most delicious steaks that I’ve ever had in my life. We would, and will use him again for our next event. They exceeded our expectations on so many levels. Even with a guest count over 100 people, we had a lot of food leftover that came in handy.
We will be return customers! -

Outstanding choice!
I was looking for a flexible caterer to provide good food and service for my daughter’s backyard reception and I was so lucky to stumble upon BBQ Daddy! The food was excellent, but equally as important, so was the service. Staff even served an additional traditional dish made by the groom’s grandmother. Pleasant, professional and DELICIOUS! -

Terry is the best!!
BBQ Daddy is amazing! I had him for my wedding and the food was just the best! The staff made sure my husband and I got our food first so we could eat. After they took care of us they served all of our guests and everyone kept asking me about the food because it was so amazing! BBQ Daddy is a must if you like BBQ!!!! -

Best BBQ for all events
I run large medical education courses with participation numbers anywhere from 50 to 250 people. BBQ Daddy caters one of my dinners for every course i hold. I have tried almost all the bbq joints in Phoenix and BBQ Daddy is by far the best bbq in the area. The meat is moist, tender and flavorful. The side items are wonderful and contribute to the perfect meal. -

Best Brisket in the STATE!!!!
The BBQ Daddy did not disappoint for our Brunch event in which he and the team served close to 150 satisfied eventgoers. Everything was done in a professional manner and he already has people asking for his services for their next event. BRAVO! -

BBQ Daddy was Amazing
You can not go wrong with BBQ Daddy.. Terry is such a great cook..I got nothing but positive feedback from our guest.. His staff was on time and had a small window to set up before guest came in..The brisket and Mac n Cheese was the hit of the night.. Terry was involved with the meal planning from the happy hour to the main course.. I highly recommend them for anyone who would love great southern cooking.. -

Adams-Terry wedding
I would give Terry more stars if they were available. He was so easy to work with and SUPER FRIENDLY and funny!. He catered my daughters wedding. We had a tasting in January of 2022 and the wedding was November of 2022. One of the items we chose for the menu was the grilled veggies. A couple weeks before the wedding Terry called me to say grilled veggies could be done if I really wanted them but he advised me against it telling me the veggies would get to soft from the steam, and then offered me another great option of roasted broccoli! The food for the wedding was amazing!! We had so many genuine compliments about the meats and the MAC AND CHEESE....so yummy (would love to get that recipe when Terry isn't looking)!!! Also rented all the tables, chairs, linens, tableware and toilet trailer from BBQ daddy. Everything was excellent. I believe when people talk about food at a wedding it is not very memorable or is memorable in a bad way....not this meal, delicious! -

Fantastic food & staff!
I am a firm believer that food brings folks together. BBQ Daddy provided the most delicious spread for our wedding this past October. We enjoyed pulled pork, brisket, chicken, mac n cheese, beans, and veggies. Our friends and family raved about how it was some of the best wedding food they have had. The owner Terri was easy communicate with and made sure we felt at ease before our big day. The staff at our event was professional and kind. Choose BBQ Daddy for your next event! -

The Best BBQ & Staff
BBQ Daddy was absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and everything ran smoothly at my wedding. Terry even made sure that myself, the bride, and the groom ate on our wedding day. They were easy to communicate with and helped me create the menu that I wanted. Also, the food was incredible! I still get compliments from my guest about how much they loved the food at our wedding. Better than we could have imagined!
These guys were absolute rock stars at our wedding! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19, and they were so compassionate and easy to work with when making plans to change. The day of, they showed up early, set up, and provided a meal that was better than we could have imagined. The baked potato bar was so impressive!
They were such professionals. By the time my husband and I picked our heads up from grace, Terry was sliding our plates in front of us. The pulled chicken was so flavorful and juicy, and the brisket was a crowd favorite!
BBQ Daddy is truly 1st class and if you are thinking of having BBQ catered to your wedding or event, these are your guys! -

Retirement party celebration!
I live in a smaller community, so my choices of catering services were slim. I read the reviews on BBQ Daddy and they were nothing but the best. They catered the food for a retirement party celebration in July. The service and food were amazing. Terry was so quick to reply to my numerous emails. Amanda delivered the food, we live 90 minutes from the catering service. The food arrived on time. Amanda was so helpful with the setup and provided great tips. Everyone complimented on how great the food was. Our party was a big hit and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend BBQ Daddy for your next party! BBQ Daddy Catering
To be completely honest, I couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience for our day. Terry and his crew were so amazing! Booking was SO easy! Their website is very informative and easy to navigate. Terry was so helpful! He responded to all of my emails and billions of questions in a timely manner and even helped me find cheaper flatware for our table settings. Payments were easily made! On the day of, his crew traveled 3+ hours to us and I never once was stressed about it! They showed up on time, set up, served and bussed our tables and cleaned up. They were like ghosts in the BEST way! We never had any issues. The food was also delicious and our guests all had more than enough, and we had leftovers! The pulled pork was so SO good, and the Mac and Cheese was to die for! Thanks to Terry and his crew for everything. 10/10 would recommend their services! -

By far the best option we choose on our wedding day
BBQ Daddy was the best choice I could have made for catering. The brisket was perfect, the chicken breast was juicy and thooooooose beans. OMG. The staff was super friendly and interacted with my guest. Terry the owner was very patient with me and my wife with all of our hundreds of questions. He was very knowledgeable about the whole wedding day. You can tell he has had plenty of experience. Our guest raved about the food more than any part of my wedding

Even better the 2nd time around!
This is almost embarrassing but I had to do it. Terry and BBQ Daddy Catered my "1st" wedding 6 YEARS ago. Back then I think they had only been in business maybe a year and a half. I found them online, he had great pictures and only a couple nice reviews so and decided to give them a shot. We (my ex and I) met with Terry and he won us over. We had over 150 guests attend and the crazy part about that is that only 120 confirmed. We didn't have enough tables or seating. I was so nervous we would run out of food. I'm so thankful that BBQ Daddy's portion sizes are so hearty that they made the food stretch. They provided all the dinnerware and somehow they had enough. Other than the people standing while eating... Everything went perfect. (for the wedding day at least)
Unfortunately, my marriage didn't. BUT I got a new hubby and now and he's awesome! My new hubby is from Texas and Brisket was going to be on the menu regardless if we had sushi or Mexican. I told him I had the perfect place... Of course, I called Terry (BBQ Daddy) and he remembered every part of my wedding I was so impressed. This time we ended up going with the Qfire/Steak menu and Terry smoked a personal brisket for me and my new hubby at no extra cost. Needless to say, everything went perfect. Thank you, Terry and the Qfire/BBQ Daddy Staff. This is the last wedding reception for me I promise! lol -

Terry and BBQ Daddy is amazing! His food is amazing, but he's also very professional and easy to work with. We had no idea how much food to order, and he guided us through that, but it never felt like he was trying to upsell us. His prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. He arrived early to the venue and got everything set up perfectly (we used them for dinnerware as well) with no issues. The service was very efficient, people weren't in line long at all. Our guests loved the food! People were having seconds (and thirds!) and raving about it all. The mac and cheese, corn bread, and meats were all a big hit. We had a bit leftover which we were allowed to take home in our containers. They cleaned up quickly, the expense of dinnerware was so worth the convenience of them bussing the tables for us. So happy we went with BBQ Daddy and would love to use him again! -

I choose BBQ Daddy as my caterer completely based on reviews and not having tasted his food yet. I knew my event was in peak wedding season and the price was right and I jumped in and wrote my check to book him. A month or so later I attended a tasting event and was super relieved because it was SO GOOD. He travelled up to my wedding location in Payson, AZ. Set up was on time and efficient. There was more than food, there was service. He made a point of making a plate for my husband and I and made sure we were taken care of. And the guests LOVED it. Best leap of faith I made! -

I would recommend this catering company to anyone that is looking for quality food, and excellent service. My experience (3/11/2017) with BBQ Daddy catering company is that they showed up on time, the appetizers was out and ready after the wedding ceremony (works well while the bridal party is taking pictures). It was a smooth transition over to the main wedding meal which was fresh, hot and very moist. The staff was very professional. The staff left the venue very clean. Let me also suggest that you also pay for and allow this company to bring the plates, glasses, utensils, and napkins. I took a verbal survey from the 200 guest and they "ALL" stated that the food was excellent! Some of the guest will be utilizing this catering company for there upcoming family events. My experience working with Terry and his staff was fantastic! He was so professional and his staff was on top of all my needs for my weeding day to be perfect. The food was wonderful and guest could not get enough asking me up until a week after my wedding who the caterer was. The food was amazing and Terry was so personable and friendly. The fish and spicy sauce were so tasty!!! We live out of state so we were unable to do any face to face meetings or tastings ahead of time. We had to put our trust in Terry and he did not fail. Terry was quick to answer all my questions and structured our menu around our tastes and dietary needs. I highly recommend him, didn't have a single complaint. Oh, and he even did an ice cream bar for us which was a nice alternative to the traditional cake. Definitely give them a try. -

Terry and his team are incredible!!! My guests were all RAVING about the food and the team was so incredibly sweet!!! They served us first to make sure we had a chance to eat a little bit before we had to mingle and it meant so much to us as it was an incredibly busy night and we didn't have a ton of time to eat. They showed up on time to unpack and were completely organized and super generous with the portions for my guests. we loved the appetizers (THE BACON WAS AMAZING!!!). Terry and Tiffany are a pleasure to work with. We met with them as our first step in the wedding planning process. I loved Tiffany's calm demeanor and immediately asked if she'd be our day of coordinator. She was so great in making sure we were aware of all steps in the process and making sure all of the vendors were on the same page when it came down to the final details.
Terry and BBQ Daddy team are amazing! They cook impeccable BBQ, from the killer bacon apps to the peach cobbler to finish the meal. The food was perfect for our summer camp location, we couldn't have had a better meal, or better service! -

This catering service was amazing! I had my wedding in April and we had so many compliments on the great food.They have a great variety of food and I was having second servings instead of dancing during the night! We used their catering service and rented tables and chairs from them as well, no other vendor I reviewed could get close to the price and convenience. I called and emailed Terry and his team many times and was always taken care of. There were a few custom items I requested and Terry was always happy to make it work. Their customer service and professionalism was top notch. We didn't have to worry about anything day of the wedding. Can't wait to work with them again! -

Terry, Tiffany and even the BBQ Daddy serving staff were all AMAZEBALLLLS. Terry (The BBQ Daddy) food was amazing. People were raving about the mac and cheese the entire night. I mean, everything was awesome but the mac was to die for. Tiffany was our wedding coordinator. She was cool, calm and collected through the entire process. I'm glad SHE was because I was "trying", not to be stressed. She was like a confident big sister that guided me and my husband through the entire process and I am sooooo glad she did because we thought we knew what we were doing but we had no idea how much work actually goes into planning a successful wedding. I was able to just show up, get married, eat, drink dance and eat again lol! They both kept open communication and I credit them for how amazing my wedding was. Organized and great food. Thank you Terry and Tiffany for your amazing job. Terry I'll be calling you soon for more of that mac and cheese! -

They were amazing! So easy to work with and Terry responded promptly to all of my emails. The value was great and the prices are very reasonable.
Our guests raved about the food, and really that is one of the biggest things guest remember. The bacon wrapped meatballs were a particularly huge hit! We had guest trying to figure out how they could horde them! A few of my guest were very bummed out there isn't a restaurant they could go to in the future.
The staff that worked our wedding were super friendly and handled everything quickly, discreetly and professionally. They made sure my husband and I ate, which based on the word of many of my friends was a challenge at their own weddings, so we really appreciated the foresight.
If you are looking for bbq I don't think you could find a better vendor to work with. -

Terry was a breeze and pleasure to work with! He was always responsive, answered all of our questions, re-did our contract 3-4 times until it was exactly what we needed, worked well with our wedding coordinator, and was just overall fantastic.
The food was out of this world - our guests are still talking about it a month later! For the amount and quality of the food and full-service catering with wonderful serving staff, it's amazing how affordable their prices are. I highly recommend BBQ Daddy for any wedding or party needs - they were wonderful and the food is unbelievable! -

We went with BBQ Daddy after tasting at a bridal show. Terry and his group showed up on time and prepared. Appetizers were served, and were quickly cleaned out. Dinner was Pulled Pork and Chicken. I recommend both. We also had the Macaroni and Cheese for the kids. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The staff were all very friendly and professional. They maintained the highest level of cleanliness, which was not easy considering the venue was a regional park. I will definitely use their services for other events that will be catered. Everyone still raves about the food at my wedding! -

This review is long past due and for that I apologize as this caterer needs to commended for his home grown company. BBQ Daddy's ability to provide personalized catering for our daughter's wedding was much more than we'd expected. The wedding venue was held in the White Mountains of Arizona, with and outside wedding venue. Terry and his beautiful wife, personally catered the reception, and did so in a warm and professional manner. We loved the ability to pick and chose from his menu, as well as the ability to add any extra supplies needed, such as, ceramic place settings, champagne glasses, tables for serving, etc. And how was the food??? It was OUTSTANDING. The wedding guests raved about the food, with statements such as "This was the best food I've ever been served at a wedding reception!" and "The ribs were to die for!" BBQ Daddy provided table settings, sett the tables for us, provided food service, cleaned up afterwards for us, and also stayed to serve the champagne toast. Because they provided so much food per serving, BBQ Daddy also provided storage for us to keep the left over food, which we enjoyed as an additional treat later. Our sincere thanks to Terry and his wife for supporting and adding to our daughter's perfect wedding day! -

BBQ daddy is the best!!! We had them come to our house for a family get together to taste test food and everyone loved it. Our wedding was January 2016, an outdoor wedding!! Everything was to die for!! Our family and friends had nothing but great things to say!!! My husband and my food was brought to us to make sure we ate! Terri also saved some meatball appetizers for me from the cocktail hour and brought them over after I finished with photos! He made sure I had food before I had my grand entrance!! They helped make our day amazing!!! -

BBQ Daddy was great!! We had an outdoor wedding at my father's homestead property, and chose bbq to pull together our theme. We tried a sample at the Bridal Expo, and never looked back! Terry was great from start to finish, he was also able to take care of some rentals I needed, and was very flexible with my menu changes. We chose to add on-site grilling, and it really took things to the next level. The staff was professional and helped out clearing tables, and made sure my Husband and I had our meals first, PLUS a meal wrapped up to go. It was awesome having the to-go meal, as we weren't able to eat more than a bite on the wedding night. But the bites I had were AMAZING! The food was hot, perfectly cooked, and had that great fresh grilled smell. I would definitely choose The BBQ Daddy again in the future, they really helped make my wedding day a great day! -

We wanted a casual event for our "Out of Town" Guests for a wedding rehearsal dinner. So we came up with the theme to have the guests wear their favorite sports team T-shirt or jersey for a tailgate party. What better way for a tailgate party than having a BBQ. Big Daddy BBQ fit all our needs we wanted even bringing the outdoor grill to grill the chicken breasts, hot dogs and vegetables. These guys put up with temperatures reaching 112 to fulfill our party needs.
Another event came up in April for a HOA picnic. I recommended BBQ Daddy to cater this event. I can confidently say BBQ Daddy has the best pulled bbq chicken and beef brisket. Would highly recommend either one of these ( or both if your hungry) for an event. Compliments from everyone on the taste and amount of food.
Terry was awesome to work with and returning calls in a timely manner.
Looking forward to working with him again at the next HOA picnic. -

Our wedding food was sooooo amazing!! Being African American we are serious about our BBQ and Soul food and BBQ daddy was on point! Staff was exceptional, attentive, and so kind. To have BBQ at a wedding they made it very classy; )

The BBQ Daddy exceeded my expectations.... in every way!
Over the last 5 years, my annual Easter Egg Hunt has grown from a mere 5-7 kid event, into a mammoth, all-day party for kids and adults. A couple of weeks before this year’s event, I considered the food situation, which to say the least had grown to be a daunting task.
I looked into a Mexican Taco bar and Hot Dog & FF stands for the kids, but wanted something more.
I found The BBQ Daddy as a referral from a friend.
Terry, a.k.a the BBQ Daddy, worked within my budget and delivered an outstanding 3 meat, plus side dish spread that would make any host proud.
Gourmet Hot Dogs, the best Mac & Cheese (ever), as well as Corn on the Cob for the kids…. Pulled Pork, Rosemary Chicken, coleslaw, baked beans and collard greens for the adults was the final decision.
All I did was walk around the party and have everyone tell me how fantastic it (the food) was.
Not having to sweat the food situation and having The BBQ Daddy provide the staff, onsite cooking, food service and presentation, was without a doubt the best party decision I ever made.
The waite staff was polite, accommodating and adorable. As promised, they cleaned up everything and left the party after putting left overs into our containers.
P.S. the portions were generous!
Thanks Terry! We’ll see you for next year’s event, if not sooner. -

BBQ Daddy catered our wedding 2/14/15 and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not just start to finish of the service of the wedding but from the very first day I signed the contract Terry was there answering questions, and reviewing every detail. I first found BBQ daddy at a wedding expo, we were walking by and my grandmother shoved a spoonful of something delightful in my mouth and I said “that is the caterer I want!” I was delighted to find that they have great prices, AMAZING staff, and everything you could need for any kind of wedding you are having. At our wedding Terry started out by telling me how beautiful I looked; what bride does not want to be told that! He is so respectful; he will make you feel like family every step of the way. He had everything under control at all times. As the night continued the food service went perfectly. Appetizers were being set up outside for the guests and Terry made a plate for my Husband and I and found us! He always had us in mind. As My Husband and I sat down for dinner Terry immediately had our plates in front of us. I just wanted to hug him. It was AMAZING. I was so hungry and he was right there to save the day so that we could eat right away and then talk with our guests! Then he and his staff started pouring champagne. After the first dances people were coming up to me telling me how great the food was and even how great Terry was. He must have been working the crowd! Then Terry put out the cake my grandmother had made along with the cupcakes. After all was said and done Terry took the time to come say goodbye and take a picture with us. If we ever have any kind of event in the future we will be using him again and I will be suggesting him to everyone I talk to that is having a wedding/event. Thank you Terry for making our day amazing and most importantly stress free! You are forever a friend in my book!! -

We used The BBQ Daddy to cater a surprise birthday party for my dad's 70th. The entire process - from choosing the foods, to reserving the services, to the staff at the event - was an absolute pleasure, and they were friendly and professional from start to finish.
My dad LOVES BBQ, so we though this was a no-brainer. We then thought about who was coming to the party, and realized we had some real, southern, true "bbq country" folks coming in, and started to get nervous that they wouldn't be overly thrilled about the food. Let me tell you... EVERYONE was absolutely blown away by the taste! The ribs absolutely melted in your mouth, the chicken legs perfectly pulled off the bone, the Tri-Tip was to die for! Coleslaw, potato salad, even the corn bread was totally amazing.
If you want some delicious BBQ, these guys are the ones to go with. But The BBQ Daddy takes it a step further than that. We were treated (from the very first phone call), as if we were their only customer - that type of customer service isn't easy to provide. If we stop and think about how many customers they might have had on that specific night, we easily could have been part of dozens and dozens of orders, but they made us feel so important that we forget how difficult it must be to make such great food for so many people, and deliver quality, on-time and friendly service all at once.
If you want amazing food, choose The BBQ Daddy.
If you want super friendly service, choose BBQ Daddy.
If you're looking for a caterer that will treat you like they actually really care...well, you get the picture.

In a world dominated by corporate infrastructure, it is a breath of fresh air to come across and do business with a small business ran with love and built on old school values. My wife found Terry at a wedding expo probably 10 months prior to our wedding and raved about his food as the highlight of the event. His interaction and presentation was nothing less than stellar. I was sold at the tasting we attended with him.
We had regular contact with Terry over the next 8 months and he was more than accommodating to the numerous questions that we placed upon him and he was very tactful in keeping up with us, while not being intrusive. I must say that his true value was shown the day of our wedding and the service that he provided. Not only did he set up an awesome spread, but he led the room with a short and sweet introduction of the food we’d purchased to serve, setting expectations to our attendees to avoid any questions regarding mild vs. hot and types of meat available for those who may or may not like pork etc. Additionally, with our permission, he led the room in prayer to bless the food and conducted a fun game to release tables to eat. There are usually a few points of every wedding that people remember and THE FOOD was a front runner that our guests communicated to us from all of the services we purchased for our day.
Terry is passionate about his business, with a heavy focus on the QUALITY OF HIS PRODUCT. Terry has earned my business and will continue to keep my business as long as he has a pit smoking! My only request to anyone reading this message is to contact Terry so you can find out for yourself about this man and his work. It speaks for itself and it has a loud booming voice!

The food was fantastic. The service was amazing. They had to carry the food up two flights of stairs because of the elevator being out of order. Despite this they set up the food on time and had it ready to go for dinner. The food was soooo delicious and great portions. We've recommended them to several friends for their weddings. -

Terry & his crew are friendly & professional. He offers a wide variety to suit everyone's appetite. His food is divine.....the best mac n cheese ever! The pulled pork & chicken were tender & it was not drowning in sauce like other places. It was seasoned perfectly! The chili beans were tasty with just enough bite to make your taste buds dance. BBQ Daddy's serving size is not a heaping tablespoon of anything.....you get ample food & will NOT run out. It is made to order, not precooked & frozen. We used him for our Christmas party in Dec 2013 & will be using him again this year.
I also used BBQ Daddy for Sierra Linda High Schools 2-13 Homecoming Tailgate party. He has a great BBQ set up. The crowd loved the food & kept coming back for more! -

We hired Terry and BBQ Daddy with only 2 weeks notice!! He was very flexible and understood our needs for a fun filled evening for 60 people--mostly 25-35 years old! We used him for all our table/chair rentals, including lighting and a Bounce tent. The food served by BBQ Daddy was delicious and exceptional quality! There were raves on the appetizers, chicken and macaroni and cheese! We also had cupcakes and they were all gone by the time the last person left! The entire staff was professional and our home was spotless when they left! We would definitely use them again and I know several of our guests plan to use them, too! -

My groom and I had the pleasure of having BBQ Daddy cater our wedding on October 2nd, 2014 and I must say...the food was the show stopper! Everyone raved about the BBQ beef brisket and being the bride, I quickly devoured the macaroni and cheese! I also want to commend the team for making my groom and I feel so special. As soon as we made our entrance as husband and wife, we did our first dance. We quickly took our seats and to my surprise, the staff greeted us with kindness with full plates for each of us in hand! Terry, your staff is amazing and personable and we know we made the right choice in choosing BBQ Daddy! The food was delicious, the prices are right, and your staff rocks! -

Terry was excellent. He was very professional. BBQ Daddy has some of the best BBQ I have had in the Valley along with great prices. I will be trying to come up with another event just to have him cater. -

Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. We ran out of tri-tip and mashed potatoes - next time we'll order more. Terry and his staff handled everything from the set-up to food service to the break-down and clean-up. I didn't have to worry about a thing and could enjoy the evening with all my guests. -

Terry and his staff are AMAZING! He did a wonderful job helping me with my event. I was even able to rent the tables and chairs I needed. The food was spectacular! Everyone raved about how tender the beef brisket was. Everything he brought was a hit! I also recommend the peach cobbler!! -

Terry has excellent service and he goes beyond his requirements. Our wedding guest were blown away by the delicious food he provide but loved his attitude even more.Service with a smile is hard to come by these days but he provided one each time we saw him. He was highly recommend by other brides I met at a bridal expo, which is how we found him and he turned out to be one of the best vendors we had for our day.We will definitely use his services in the future! -

Terry's food is to die for! Our guests were raving over how great it tasted and what a treat it was to have something different than the catered chicken-or-beef that you find at weddings. But even though the food was more relaxed, the quality and professionalism were all there. A few weeks before the wedding, we realized our venue didn't have enough tables and chairs for us, so I emailed Terry and he said no problem! He wound up calling the venue for me to arrange a time to drop them off in advance; I didn't have to be involved after that. While at the reception, he was walking around checking on everything and making sure we were satisfied. My husband wanted seconds, so Terry brought him a plate piled high with mac-and-cheese and ribs; he couldn't even finish! Beyond all of this, the prices were seriously unbeatable. Every other caterer was at least twice the price of what Terry charges. I would not hesitate to hire him again, even for smaller events. We loved BBQ Daddy! -

Hands down, Terry is the BBQ King! The man know how to cook! And, on top of that, he is a blast to have at your wedding! How many caterers out there are so attentive, funny, and helpful? He made sure my DH and I had time to eat at our reception by serving us first (so many couples complain about not getting to eat at their own reception, but Terry knows how to circumvent a hungry stomach). Working with him from the initial tasting all the way up to the day of was easy and fun. I felt confident in him and his abilities. It was a great relief to know that I could trust him to get everything done, and done well. Great food! -

So responsive to menu questions, size of party changes. Seriously helped us plan our menu and portion sizes so we would be sure to order lots for all (and not too many leftovers). People told my husband that it was the best brisket they ever had. I had similar comments about the ribs. Personally I'm dreaming about that delicious mac and cheese. They arrived at the exact time they said they would. Loved that Terry got up in in front of the group and explained what was for dinner, how the service would work. So personable! Highly recommend!! -

We had more than 200 guests at our wedding. Terry and his team served up excellent bbq which is exactly what we wanted. The side dishes of macaroni and cheese, baked beans and coleslaw were a perfect compliment to the tender, juicy, flavorful ribs, brisket and chicken. The guests were more than satisfied and we even had enough leftover to enjoy with friends and family when we returned from our honeymoon. Thank you Terry and Team! -

Crisis averted!!!
It rained on our outdoor reception... so much of our plans to have a plated dinner were tossed out the window. Terry of BBQ Daddy handled the last minute change of plans without a hitch. He got everyone's attention and explained the new setup and dinner was served ON TIME, even with the massive weather hiccup. With help from our coordinator they even moved the head table for us and served us there, so we didn't have to stand in line.
The food was spectacular. The bacon-wrapped heaven balls (not real name) were phenomenal. So was the Mac-N-Cheese. I'm not a big fan of macNcheese, but this one was definitely worth it!
As bride and groom we both had the sirloin steaks, and they were perfectly cooked with amazing flavor.
To be honest we're already looking for excuses to hiring BBQ Daddy again; business mixer, after party....Tuesday... whatever. If you love BBQ but are worried about not looking fancy enough for your event, hire these guys. -

Do not book with them. There are so many catering companies that have delicious food, why settle with one that has horrible customer service? We booked our October wedding with them. Terry was very nice until we signed the contract. After that, he did not respond to my email. He told us we would be able to do our tasting at the bridal show. We confirmed with him that we would do it then. We show up to the bridal show and there was only pulled pork to sample. After we brought this up with him, he suggested that he did not say that we could do our tasting there. I brought up the email on the phone and he got extremely defensive.
Fast forward to our wedding, they arrived an hour late from the time that was on our CONTRACT. They pulled up screeching during the middle of our outdoors CEREMONY. Our food was also served AN HOUR LATE. Then, even though we had discussed with them the night before doing a trivia game to call up tables to the buffet(Terry actually was the one that suggested this), they did not do this when the time came. Thankfully, our awesome officiant jumped in to do it for us.
After the wedding, I called Terry to thank him for the food because I am a polite person. Then I mentioned how they showed up late and didn't apologize, he became extremely defensive again. We unfortunately never received an apology, only insults over the phone. It wasn't until I sent him the contract again after this phone call that he apologized for showing up late via a rude email.
Two months later, I left a review on their facebook page because I honestly believe other brides should know about both good and bad experiences. The review was deleted promptly and I was sent a NASTY email and facebook message from Terry threatening to be sued if I leave another review.

The initial review this customer left on our Facebook page was a complete lie and slander.
Almost every single person complimented our food and service at this wedding including the groom.
We exchanged over 20 emails back and forth and multiple phone calls leading up the wedding date.
The AZ Bridal Show is the Largest on the west coast. There is no possible way we could offer anyone a "full tasting”. The customer forgot to mention that I personally gave them money out of my pocket to to pay for their entrance and parking fee to make up for her confusion.
We did show up after our proposed "arrival time". The arrival time is solely set for my staff and purposely set 2 hours BEFORE actual service time to give time to my staff time overcome any mishaps during travel time. My crew was set up and ready to serve within 15 minutes of arrival and appetizers were served on time and the main entree was up and ready 25 minutes early.
There were never any trivia Q&A given to me. We had nothing to work with.
I only charged them $100 for delivery and set up and pick up. From 2 hours away in the higher mountains of Payson. With any other equipment rental company, their charges would have been between $500 - $700 for the same service
This bride was very argumentative and demanding. She threw a full glass of water ON the DJ for not staying past his contracted time. She was crying, yelling and cursing at her wedding party half the night. This was a very difficult customer from the beginning.
