Vern was extremely easy to work with, was prompt with responding to emails and phone calls. Pyramid DJ uses an online form to submit requests ahead of time, including which songs you want for specific moments, making it easy to have the playlists you want, but managed by a professional DJ. Pyramid also provided the microphone and speakers for toasts during the reception dinner.
Vern kept the dance floor moving all night long and played every song we requested before the end of the night. Couldn't ask for a better wedding DJ. -

Don’t stop believing in great prices, flexibility, coordination, and having an amazing time at your wedding! DJ Vern came highly recommended from our venue coordinator, Kris, at plantation bay golf and country club who works frequently with this group. DJ Vern called the week before and of the wedding to coordinate and confirm any changes for the wedding and made our day flow so smoothly. From announcements to introductions and the traditional garter/bouquet toss. Everyone was on the Dancefloor at least once -all age groups- and you can’t beat their prices. Thank you so much for making the Sylvesters and our guests have the time of our lives! -

My wedding was last weekend at Harmony Gardens and we had Vern as our DJ. I'm SO happy with everything that Vern did for us, he was an incredible DJ!! He read the crowd so well, keeping things upbeat when they needed to be and got people out on the dance floor. I even texted him the day before the wedding with a YouTube link asking if he could play it as I walk down the aisle and he said no problem! Low and behold the song was playing crisp and clear less than 24 hours later as I walked down the isle. Like I said - incredible! He is clearly great at what he does and cares about his clients. Thank you Vern for making our wedding so fun and memorable! -

DJ Vern was the best! Pyramid DJs was a breeze to work with and their online system is excellent to build a playlist and event timeline. I do not have all the words to describe the excellence of Pyramid DJs. DJ Vern actually called me right away to find out more about our wedding and what all we needed so he could give us an accurate quote. The tools they offer online are stripped down so you can build, customize, and restrict songs exactly as you want. All our guests agreed that DJ Vern made the night all the more entertaining. I continue to receive compliments on our DJ choice. Which is nice, but DJ Vern deserves that credit. DJ Vern and Pyramid DJs were a very big piece of the puzzle of making our night the most memorable. -

Wedding 5/15/21
We had Pyramid Disc Jockeys as our vendor. DJ Mike was our DJ. I was very pleased with this vendor, as DJ Mike helped us with our questions and timeline at our venue. He kept our wedding guest engaged and dancing throughout our reception. He played music that fit our guest list, from the 70's to todays music. I would recommend this company for any DJ services and will use them again when we are in need of a DJ. Thank You so much DJ Mike for being part of our special day!

I was so happy with DJ Vern! Leading up to the wedding they answered all my questions and got every song I wanted to be played at the wedding on their song list. A couple days before the wedding he called and made sure I submitted all my forms and song lists because I completely forgot about it and that was so helpful! During the wedding, he was so nice and got everyone dancing and having a great time! Thank you again for the amazing job that you did! -

Pyramid Disc Jockeys is really well known in our area & over the years I've been to a number of different type of events where they provided the entertainment. Every time they've done an outstanding job entertaining people by creating the perfect tempo & flow for so many different types of events. Then recently a number of us attended a close friend's wedding where they used Pyramid Djs services and it was an ABSOLUTELY beautiful, touching and memorable one-of-a-kind wedding experience for everyone! The DJ Vern Shank really personalized the whole experience for the bride & groom & totally tapped into their personalities & wedding theme. He knows exactly how to transition the music to create a perfect flow for the bride & groom and also does a fantastic time moderating in between songs to set the mood. It was truly magical and created so many touching memories for both the wedding party and their guests! Pyramid DJS has always had a great reputation for delivering on their promises, which is SUPER important on such a special day in your life! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any wedding or event!! -

Vern was our DJ this past Sunday and was awesome! He stepped up super last minute and we are so glad things worked out the way they did because he was such a great DJ! He made the party a good time. Definitely recommend! -

Vern has been recommended by many, but wondered who I was getting! Upon meeting him at my wedding I felt like he was one of my guests! He introduced us as if he had known us for years and made sure everyone heard all the special moments without missing a peep. Also, not one time did I look at the dance floor and see it empty! And my family isn’t even big dancers lol! Thank you for everything Vern!! -

Erica Sent on 03/17/2018My husband and I were married on March 10th, 2018 and we had Pyramid Dj Mike at our wedding. Mike is so awesome and a blast!! Our crowd is very low key but he kept us going until the end. He was so helpful with guiding us through our evening and the timeline of our reception. We chatted about our wedding prior to meeting and when he showed up and began, he did everything we wanted him to do and more! We aren't really dancers but get got us out there and we had a blast!
During the planning process, using their website is so easy and fun to use. We created our timeline with songs we wanted for specific things and Mike even suggested songs during times we didn't even think of!! I have to say that Pyramid DJ's goes above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was fun and flawless.

Allyson Sent on 11/01/2017Mike did a great job at our wedding! Pyramid DJs was VERY flexible with us. At first, we had only requested their service for the 5 hour reception. Then we decided to have them do the ceremony and be on "stand-by" for our cocktail hour in case the musician was a no show. They were willing to do this for us and only charged for the cocktail hour if their services were used. Their online system for filling out specific songs was super easy. Mike even went out of his way to get special permission from Disney to play certain songs that we had requested. We had some people say that the ceremony was difficult to hear, but we were outside just off the ocean where the wind was blowing hard. All the songs we chose were played at the correct time. Mike kept the dance floor full until 11pm! Several people complemented us on the DJ after the wedding. Mike was involved in our ceremony just the right amount. He would dance on the dance floor with our guests, he lead many of the line dances, but didn't overstep any boundaries. He kept the party alive but remained professional throughout. I would HIGHLY recommend Pyramid DJs, and specifically Mike, for any wedding event!

Sarah Sent on 12/28/2011Pyramid DJs was amazing to work with. We started out working with Vern and selecting our music with him, and Eric DJed our wedding. Eric was fantastic as well. He worked with my maid of honor to surprise me, she sang her toast to me. And he accomodated every little request I had and I am very grateful for that. The only issue I had is they lost the check for the payment, so when I turned my phone back on after our plane landed from the honeymoon I had 2 messages asking for a new check. I felt they should have known (assumed) I was on a honeymoon and could have emailed me. Overall though, they are fantastic! -

This vendor was a preferred vendor of our wedding venue and we got a good deal. Well, turns out you get what you paid for because ONE WEEK before my wedding, I get a text from a RANDOM number who turned out to be the replacement DJ.
I never once received any communication about this by Pyramid Disc Jockeys nor did I ever get any apology email or call. I also didn’t even get a refund of any money back. To this day I’m astonished that 1) I haven’t heard anything from pyramid DJs and 2) they cancelled on my one week before the biggest day of my life.
