This has been one of the most amazing caterers I’ve ever hired Pete went above and beyond his knowledge in good and flavors is impressive everyone at our wedding was going crazy over the food from the hors d’oeuvres to the beautiful sit down dinner. Thank you Pete !!!! -

Peter at Purple Olive was very easy to work with. From our tasting at the restaurant to our wedding night, we felt very confident in the service and food quality that he provided. He has several different inspired menus to pick from. He was flexible and provided great suggestions as we were choosing our menus. We decided to go with buffet and had plated appetizers being passed during cocktail hour. The food was all amazing but the appetizers were to die for!! Luckily when my husband and I got back to our table, Peter's team had left us a plate of our own appetizers so that we were able to enjoy them as well. The waiting staff and bartenders were professional and friendly! Thank you so much for being a part of our day and the amazing food Peter and team! -

Cannot begin to explain how amazing Peter and his staff are! First, the food was absolutely delicious. So many people that saw us after the wedding told us that their food was so good, especially the filet. My dad is such a picky eater and he was even telling me how much he enjoyed his meal (not only that, Peter made my dad a special salad for the wedding too because he is so picky). His staff was so friendly and even interacted with our guests when appropriate. I got sooooo many compliments!
We had a huge drop in numbers from our original wedding as well as I changed it from buffet to plated about 2 months before our wedding because of COVID and Peter gave me no issues about the changes and also worked with me through them.
About 2 weeks before the wedding I decided to eliminate our cocktail hour due to COVID (our ceremony was off site) and do a plated appetizer while people were seated at their tables. Peter was totally on board and made it happen! I think it turned out amazing even though he said he hadn't really done it that way before.
So if you want freaking delicious food and a laid back vendor that rolls with the punches (when you're already stressed to the max with all the wedding planning/COVID stuff to begin with), Peter and his staff are it! -

Peter and his team were incredible! Peter was very flexible and understanding when our guest count dropped by more than half due to COVID. All of the food was sooo delicious - so many guests were raving about it, you never hear that about wedding food. My personal favorite was the seafood pasta in a chardonnay cream sauce but so many people wouldn't stop talking about the prime rib. During cocktail hour, they brought a big plate of appies for the groom and I to enjoy off by ourselves which was so great.
Can't wait for our next St Auggie visit so we can go eat at the restaurant and relive our wedding food! -

Peter and his staff crushed it! All of the food was absolutely delicious! All of the guests raved about the food the next day. The wait staff was professional. The tasting was perfect!
Peter was very flexible when we had postponed our wedding due to COVID. He was understanding and did everything he could to accommodate. -

I had Purple Olive cater my wedding and everyone LOVED the food! Which is not something you always hear at weddings… Peter & is team were outstanding! From the passed hors d’oeuvres to the plated meals, everyone raved about the food! Peter was wonderful to work with and we are so happy we had him cater our wedding at the Treasury! Definitely recommend! -

We could not be more pleased with our decision to have Purple Olive cater our wedding. The food was incredible. From the array of appetizers during Cocktail Hour, to the buffet where second and third trips were a must, Peter and his entire crew left everyone buzzing. Peter and staff did a remarkable job of feeding 170 guests in record time- and the food was hot and delicious!! Our guests would not stop raving about their entrees! Personally, I had the pecan crusted salmon with the orange bourbon cream sauce! It was out of this world! Peter was excellent to work with and he hires the best staff to work his events! From my first call to tastings to the actual event- Peter and team were easy to work with and provided an incredible menu for our guests! They even provided appetizers for the bridal party in the suites and the vault! -

Purple Olive really surprised us! We had been to three other tastings before and nothing compared. Chef and Owner Peter Kenney was soo professional and very flexible with our menu items. Our venue did not provide a kitchen and they were able to bring their own mobile kitchen to cook all the food fresh. The "Shrimp, Artichoke, Spinach, Roasted Garlic, and Cavatappi Pasta tossed with Chardonnay Cream Sauce" was to DIE FOR and they have very unique appetizers. They were easy to get ahold of, quick to respond, and reasonably priced. -

Our daughter’s January wedding was served by Peter’s staff from the Purple Olive. They were prompt, professional, and their service was outstanding—not to mention the food was delicious!! We couldn’t have been more pleased and recommend them highly. -

Casey Sent on 07/30/2018When we booked our reception venue and I asked about their preferred caterer list, they told me "Purple Olive should charge more than they do. If they're available on your date, you want them." And it was completely true. Peter and his team created a fantastic gluten free menu for us. The passed appetizers during the cocktail hour were all outstanding and our buffet line had 3 main dish options that were all delicious. The team that came to serve at our event was extremely professional and did a wonderful job, even bringing a plate of appetizers to the bridal suite during the cocktail hour for my husband and me to enjoy quietly before we went out to mingle with our guests.

From our first meeting, Pete had great suggestions from food selections to presentation to make our day exceptional. His ideas were perfect, and we've had rave reviews about the food from all the guests we spoke with. Pete was professional, courteous, and took care of little details that came up without feeling the need to bother my husband or myself. I would highly recommend Purple Olive for any catering needs. He and his staff were amazing! -

We loved our food! It was hot and guests were happy! When I realized I was famished after the ceremony, I was so glad they made sure my groom and I had a tray of apps waiting for us. I actually ate more than I thought I would! Everyone had great things to say about the all the food. We actually made ourselves sit down to eat and we were so glad we did. Peter worked with our budget and delivered top service! I'm very happy we chose Purple Olive.
