I found Eric on WeddingWire and I am so happy I did! We were looking to have a photo booth at our wedding and once we reached out to Eric, we knew we didn't have to look any further. Eric is SO nice, very easy to communicate with, and we are so happy we chose to work with him. Our guests loved the photo booth and they were able to have the photos texted to them AND printed. I would highly recommend Eric's photo booth to any couple that is looking to have one at their wedding or for any other event. -

Matt was our DJ for our wedding in Central Florida and he was great! We booked him over a year in advance, he was super willing to work with us on pricing and eager to earn our business.
About a month and a half before the big day, Matt contacted us to get to know us and build our wedding playlist. He listened to what we wanted and really kept the wedding running smoothly.
We had so much fun dancing the night away, every song smashed and we had such a great time! He kept the music family friendly for the first bit of dancing, before the children left, which was great.
The only downside was anytime I tried to leave the dance floor to grab a drink, I would have to run back because another favorite song was playing 😂
We had a blast and would definitely hire again for any party needs! -

Matt, Sonia and myself planned many surprises and different things to make the wedding go perfect for the bride and everything went exactly according to plan and right on queue. Extremely happy with my choice to hire Matt and Sonia.
The room was beautifully lit and the DJ’s performance was epic. Wedding wire won’t let me post the videos because they’re too big.
But it all went perfectly. Including the surprise dry ice machine my wife didn’t know about (dancing on a cloud) -

Eric and his team provided an excellent service for my wedding reception this past weekend! He provided an excellent playlist based on myself and my now husbands likes! A five out of five star rating!

Eric’s a blast to work with! He actually did a friend of ours wedding, so we got to see him in action. Organized, professional, down to earth and super fun to work with! If I had a question, Eric had an answer and just made everything so seamless! 10/10 would recommend! -

I cannot say enough good things about about our experience !!! They were very helpful and booking on short notice for my daughters wedding !! The entire night was perfect as Eric was very professional and got the crowd up amd dancing !! Everything you could ask for or want in a Dj service we got!! We had to book Eric with less than a weeks notice due to unfortunate circumstances that happened with our prior dj. Eric went above and beyond to help us and work with us to make our wedding a dream come true. We have gotten so many compliments on how amazing of a show he put on for us. We highly recommend Eric for any event and will definitely be looking forward to working with him again in the future. -

We loved working with Eric!
Working with Eric was great! We live in NH but were planning a NY wedding so we met with him multiple times on FaceTime to chat about music preferences and ideas. He was easy to talk to and the planning process was seamless. We had a blast at our wedding, the music was on point, uplighting looked great and we loved the unique cloud effect for our first dance. Eric even performed our ceremony for us which went off without a hitch. We’re so glad we found Eric and recommended him to anyone who’s looking for an awesome dj and officiant for their wedding! -

Eric was amazing!!!! Easy to work with! Quick to respond! Flexible due to issues from COVID! He had amazing song suggestions and was understanding when we had some last minute changes. Eric & team brought the party and had everyone on the dance floor all night long! Our guests were so impressed with Eric and his team. He even keep my MOH/Sister speech/singing a secret from everyone! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!!!! If you're reading this, you probably still need to book a DJ for your wedding. Well this is it, the last review you need to see.
Eric Catalano is the simply the best. The moment we first met with him as a potential DJ for our wedding we knew he was the one. He's so outgoing and high-energy it's infectious. The best part is that unlike every other DJ we've come across, he has NO PACKAGES. No nickle and dime for every little add-on. Anything he has access to is available to you at no extra cost. We had a customized light-up monogram, dry ice machine, all the fancy uplighting, etc ... at nearly half the cost we were quoted elsewhere.
You also always get a 2nd DJ so that if one of them needs a break or is interacting with your guests, there is still someone always at the booth to keep the music going. Our 2nd DJ was Desmond Wilson, who was just amazing at hyping people up on the dance floor. Desmond challenging my cousin to a dance-off was a true highlight of the night, and even some of the (normally) wallflower guests were having a blast dancing thanks to these guys.
Eric is also ordained!! We had a slight officiant emergency only 2 months from the wedding, where the one we had booked sort of skipped town. We mentioned it to Eric during a meeting with him about DJ things, and he told us that he happens to be ordained. So not only was he our MC and DJ, but our officiant as well! Since he was already going to be there, he gave us an amazing deal with just a small extra charge for officiating the whole ceremony on top of everything else. He customized the ceremony to exactly what we wanted, helped us with rehearsal the day before, and even knew enough to step out of the way after our vows so that he wouldn't "photobomb" our first kiss photo.
I can't say enough about the professionalism and personality of this vendor. I think hiring Eric and his crew was one of the best decisions we made about this wedding. Seriously, stop reading and just go contact him right now! -

Eric is seriously THE BEST. He made us feel comfortable since day one when we first met with him. He is so organized, outgoing, fun, and he knows his stuff. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Eric kept the dance floor going all night. Eric kept everything on time and played an awesome playlist that kept the dance floor going all night. For our first dance, he included the fog which looked amazing in pictures. He also, did all of our uplighting the color red to match our main wedding color/bridesmaid dresses which literally transformed the room. I would highly recommend Eric to DJ anyones wedding you will not be disappointed. Thank you Pure Sound Entertainment!! -

My husband and I had the privilege of using Matt at Pure Sound Entertainment for our wedding this weekend. To say that he stole the show would be an understatement. Matt was incredibly warm from the very first conversation and we knew we were in the best hands. As a musician, Music is my life and so I’m very protective over the art form. Matt eased us the entire way through, from our ceremony to the wedding event. He didn’t stop playing music that kept our guests on their feet all night long from a long range of music circling the 50’s right through today’s hits. We can’t recommend Matt enough. If you’re having a wedding, Bar Mitzvah or any other celebration - Matt is your guy.
As a gay couple, you often feel the need to make sure those working with you are comfortable and Matt made sure we knew that he has absolutely no judgement and is just happy to help any couple who loves one another celebrate their special night.
One thing he did that we think was so smart - when guests got up for the buffet, he made sure that family went up first before any other table. He ended up not only being our DJ but also an event planner in his own right.

We have walked away with not just an amazing job well done at our wedding but a friend! Eric is so funning and talented as well as accommodating to any and every situation (I have a very crazy family dynamic)! We wanted early 2000’s R&B played and he made it happen. I loved that everything that you would need at your wedding is included in his package! I never knew how much work goes into planning for a wedding DJ. From my ceremony music to my reception music, everything was amazing! If you do not know what you want for a specific part, Eric will show you different songs. He will also let you know what doesn’t work. Nothing short from an amazing experience! -

Desiree Sent on 10/22/2017Hiring Eric for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! His online planning system was very easy and user-friendly. He met with us throughout the process many times to review all of the plans. He was able to customize our wedding by sneaking in a surprise father-daughter dance (we were originally only going to do a mother-daughter dance). He also had many suggestions such as voice overs during songs to help customize our reception. The dry ice during our first dance was a huge hit!!!! He also included up lighting for free which made our tent look amazing at night! Eric is a great person inside and out and we would both highly recommend him for any event- especially a wedding. He kept the crowd dancing all night and even stayed late to keep the party going for us. We truly cant thank him enough for everything!!! We will be booking all future events with Pure Sound!
