You should not have a wedding without hiring Mary and her team. From the time we met with Mary a year and a half before our wedding, I didn’t have to stress about anything once. She put together a design plan, handled most of the decor, made sure everyone knew what they were doing on the day of, and was so, so much fun to work with. I really could not recommend her more. We even woke up the morning after the wedding to pictures that she had taken all throughout the day, and it was so fun to be able to see photos right away. Mary really felt like more of a friend by the end of the wedding than a planner. I got to fully enjoy the whole planning process and my wedding day because I knew she had everything so perfectly handled. I’ll highly encourage all my family and friends to hire her just so I could work with her again! -

SO glad we hired Pure Events! Mary was fabulous and made it all happen! From recommending vendors, to the design plan, to all of the day-of coordination, Mary and her team were amazing and took away all of the stress and worry. I highly recommend them! -

Mary is a fantastic wedding planner! She knows a ton about the industry and is such a great guide. She spent the time talking to us and really understood what we wanted for our day- and she was able to give us great recommendations! It was so easy to not have to do our own research and we could trust her to find the best options for us. She was also delightful to work with, very friendly and enthusiastic. Her day-of coordination was incredibly smooth. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and if anything went wrong, I still don't know about it! -

Hiring Mary as our day of coordinator was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Mary is exceptionally organized and is always ready to answer your questions (and you’ll have a ton of them!). My partner Xander and I had an interfaith wedding– Jewish and Lutheran– and Mary took the time to ask us questions about our vision for the day, and also did research on her own to learn more about the Jewish traditions with which she wasn’t as familiar. She ensured our wedding represented both of our traditions and that everyone in our family felt included. Mary was also a life saver during the planning process when things did not go according to plan. We ran into a serious issue when our venue tried to charge us massive additional fees for food and bar service, and Mary was a relentless advocate for us throughout that process. We saved thousands of dollars because of her support and industry know-how. On the day, Mary’s optimism and poise helped everyone in the wedding party and all of our guests to feel welcome and assured that the day would go smoothly. And the wedding day was truly amazing. We are so grateful to Mary for all of her work and recommend her wholeheartedly! -

Hiring Mary for my wedding in October was THE BEST decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process!!!! She was my day of coordinator and took so much stress and worry off me so I could enjoy the day and not worry about setting up the venue and dealing with vendors. She set up all of my decor exactly as requested and had some ideas on how to make things look even better. She made sure to ask my opinion before changing anything and was so on top of everything happening the entire day. She went above and beyond the day of the wedding and even leading up to the wedding. All the tips and ideas she gave me in the planning process were so appreciated and she is such an awesome person overall. She ran through rehearsal with us the night before as well which was so helpful for everyone. It helped that she works with most of my other vendors all the time so everything flowed smoothly and went absolutely perfect because of how experienced she is. Her assistant Abby was also a rockstar and on top of everything. I cannot say enough positive things about Mary and would highly recommend her to anyone who is even considering using a wedding coordinator. She is fantastic and will make your wedding day go so smoothly. Thank you Mary for helping to make my day so perfect! :) -

Mary was exactly what we needed to plan our wedding! Mixing the personalities and budgets of different family and even ourselves is difficult and not something we had experience with doing before. Mary helped navigate that challenge in a professional but also personal way. She was available at all times for support both leading up to and on the day of the wedding, and it was the best day of our lives! -

Amazing experience with Mary and Team!
Mary and her team did such an amazing job making sure our wedding went off without a hitch. From our pre planning meetings, to rehearsal, and all the way through the big day - every interaction with Mary and her fantastic team was an A+ experience. They put out fires and fixed anything that wasn’t going according to plan without anyone even realizing it. They truly helped make it the best day of our lives and we would partner with them over and over again. 12 out of 10 recommend! -

Go book Mary to plan your wedding now; you will not regret it.
If you are reading this, stop what you are doing and book Mary now while you can, this detailed review will be waiting when you get back. Mary was, without a doubt, the best investment we made into our wedding. Not only was she able to streamline communications with our vendors, she was also able to recommend new ideas, color schemes, and tools we could use to make our days speak to us. She was very direct, which is an incredibly valuable quality in a wedding planner. Every step of the way, Mary was invested in making our day about US. In addition to planning and coordinating the day, she was also a fierce advocate for us with our vendors. We had 5 vendors somehow attempt to not follow through on their commitments, but Mary was there with all correspondences in hand to hold them accountable. Finally, Mary is a kind, fun, energetic presence and our day wouldn't have been the same without her. We could feel the love she has for what she does and making our experience positive, seamless, and organized; you will look back on this as the best investment you made into your wedding. -

Mary was AMAZING and I can't fully describe how much she helped us on our day. Mary is knowledgable, hardworking, adaptable, and just an overall great person to work with at a wedding. She knows everything that can go wrong and how to fix it. Mary went above and beyond for us and I have no doubt that she'd do the same for anyone else. When we began planning our wedding over a year and a half ago, we were happily living in Duluth, building our life while planning a wedding. We knew we needed some day of help because all our family and friends would be traveling to Duluth. Fast forward a year, life threw us some curve-balls including a job loss, a move to a new city, and a bit of a whirlwind – but our wedding planning still forged ahead because of Mary.
When life hit us, Mary was there for us, not only as our day-of-coordinator, but as our friend. She cared about us as people through all the planning. She took all the emails, phone calls, and video chats and made our vision come to life. Her adjustments to our decor set up made it more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. She helped create a timeline so we could do everything we wanted that day. And she was able to corral a large wedding party and family. She took every bit of stress off our shoulders so that we could really enjoy our day.
A couple CANNOT go wrong when they decide to hire Mary. She is an expert in the area, detail-oriented, professional, and compassionate. Mary truly made our day elegant and stress-free. -

Jasper Sent on 09/07/2017As a videographer and someone who has worked 75+ weddings, I know a good vendor when I see one, and Mary is not just good, she's great. She is not only a consummate professional, but a stellar human being as well. Her attention to detail and loads of experience make her an amazing planner, but it's her ability to make everyone feel comfortable, looked after, and relaxed that I think puts her over the top. She will not only make your wedding day 1000 times easier, but she'll make it more enjoyable as well. Highly recommended.
