Loved working with Pure Energy! They were super easy to work with and did an amazing job! Our guests & us danced all night long! Great music and amazing job emceeing. We were a pretty young crowd and they knew exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing and having fun! Would 10/10 recommend working with Pure Energy!

Love this DJ Team!!!

I LOVE Johnny, Jose and the rest of the team at Pure Energy Entertainment!! I first met Johnny and Jose when they DJ'd a friends' wedding (which up until my wedding had been the best wedding I'd ever been to.) I loved them so much that I hired them for my wedding. Not only did they do an amazing job, but they also solved lots of issues without even letting us know. Leading up to our ceremony the electrical at our venue wasn't working like it should have been and Johnny's team worked efficiently with the venue to get everything up and running properly before the ceremony started. The announcements were perfect and music was amazing. We had a much younger crowd at our wedding and we were all dancing and singing all night. If you don't have a good time with Pure Energy I can guarantee it's because of your guests, not because of Pure Energy. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Best dj emcee entertainment business

Pure Energy Entertainment provided the Music and entertainment for my son's wedding on September 2, 2022. As far as my family is concerned there is no other Entertainment company for us! They were the DJ/Emcee for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah Fall of 2019, my wedding July 2020 and now my son's wedding this past weekend. Each and every time they bring the highest level of service and get the crowd on the dance floor and out of their chairs no matter the age! They are both fun and professional. My other son is getting married Summer of 2023 and my first call will be to Pure Energy when they pick their date. Thank you to Johnny K, Mike Connors and Jose for treating my family so wonderfully for our special occasions.

The Best DJ

I cannot say enough good things about Mark Dixon. He was absolutely phenomenal and blew our expectations out of the water. He was honest and transparent throughout the whole planning process, he was extremely responsive and personable. Every time we would talk with Mark, he always put our minds at ease and completely took the stress out of this process. Mark executed everything perfectly the day of, our guests are still talking about how wonderful he was. I wish we could give him way more than 5 stars. If you want to have a stress free wedding, start with Mark Dixon.

Engaging and phenomenal

Johnny K described himself as an experience man and he came through, and then some. Our wedding would have been memorable, but Johnny K made it unbelievable. He was the perfect balance of assertive, yet let the party flow naturally as well. He got our guests singing at the top of their lungs and dancing in the rain. Don’t look elsewhere.

Live streaming was great!

We used Pure Energy for their live streaming services as they came recommended from our venue Oceanview of Nahant. There were cameras setup around the ceremony space and there was a mic on the groom and maybe others. The streaming quality was great! Not professional TV quality as our videographer had priority for getting those shots, but a great option for guests who couldn't attend in person. We didn't choose to live stream the reception as viewers usually drastically decline after the reception. By now, Pure Energy has had plenty of experience with live streaming weddings, so definitely a great option if live streaming is something you want! We also got a google drive recording of the live stream for our records.

They are the party!

we cant explain how much we loved working with Pure Energy!! they were so flexible with moving our wedding date because of Covid, no questions asked. We live streamed the event to all our friends and family who couldn't make it, the reviews were fabulous. the quality was amazing and now we have this memory forever. The up lighting really made our event and the energy Mark brought was spectacular. 10//10 recommend for any party! we loved them so much her hired them twice for a party later this year!

Couldn't ask for more

Mark was absolutely fabulous! Personable, caring, responsible and sooo talented. He could not have been more accommodating with the process of planning and replanning a wedding during COVID and went above and beyond to help in anyway he could (many times in way completely beyond MC/DJ services). He even called several times over the past year to see if there was anything he could do to help/support us or eliminate stress associated with COVID. We are looking forward to having him next year for a bigger reception and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone!

Amazing Covid Wedding!

We had to reschedule our wedding from August due to Covid. We were impatiently waiting for 2021 , we really knew we wanted to get married in 2020. We finally decided to do a wedding in our very own yard. Mark was the perfect addition to our wedding. We at the very last minute decided to hire Mark for Live Streaming as well and I cannot tell you how AMAZING that option was. He uses two cameras to truly record the ceremony in the most elegant fashion. We also got the video to download and I could watch our vows 1,000 times. AMAZING does not even describe how wonderful the music and Live streamed ceremony all turned out. Thank you Mark for a very intimate and perfect wedding even with all the craziness happening it was truly the day we always pictured.

Covid wedding

We are so thankful to Mark Dixon for providing the ceremony and reception music for our wedding! He was not only an incredible host, DJ, and entertainer but also a great planning partner. From our first call Mark made us feel comfortable in asking questions and helped us think about how music could make our wedding reflect our personalities. As we maneuvered the changing COVID guidelines in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our wedding, Mark helped us adjust our plan every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, Mark made our small event a true celebration. Our ceremony music was beautiful and conveyed the emotion of the day and our reception music was everything we wanted - he gets the people going! We highly recommend Mark and Pure Energy Entertainment to anybody planning an event especially during these trying times!

Words fail

My family had a long relationship with Mark Dixon before my wedding, going all the way back to when he was the DJ at my Bat Mitzvah back in 2004. It was so wonderful that he was able to also be at our wedding, and he made the party so great. His energy was incredible and the music had our guests on the dance floor right up until it was time to go. Planning was also a breeze, and we felt comfortable that everything music-wise was going to go smoothly, which it did! Pure Energy, and Mark specifically, are amazing!

New Year’s Eve to remember

My wife and I just got married on New Year’s Eve and used Pure Energy as our entertainment for the night. Johnny K was our MC and he did an amazing job. His energy is contagious, and he keeps people up and dancing all night. The blend of his humor and sincerity throughout the night at the perfect times really brings the whole night together perfectly. The rest of the entertainment staff were amazing. Couldn’t have been more happy with how they did. 5 stars

Best Entertainment!!!!

Johnny K and his crew are hands down the best!!!!! We had them DJ our 9/2/18 wedding at the Oceanview of Nahant and I swear there was not one person in their seat! We had rap battles, I was crowd surfing into the groomsmen, and he had the entire wedding party up on stage at one point!! The music was outstanding throughout the night and Johnny K was an incredible MC! If you are looking for some amazing entertainment to keep your guests dancing throughout the night - LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Pure Energy Entertainment is the way to go!! 5 stars hands down!

Perfect Wedding DJ

We had Mark DJ our June Wedding and we couldn't be happier we went with him and Pure Energy. He was super responsive with emails and phone calls, always promptly answering any questions we had. Just from talking with him you can genuinely see that he enjoys every wedding he does. Mark made the whole process stress free. On the day of, he did sound for both ceremony and reception. After the wedding was over, we received numerous compliments about him and the music he played. I would definitely recommend Mark and Pure Energy to anyone.

I had Johnny K and Mark Dixon perform at our wedding and we can not rave about them enough! I had people calling me all week congratulating us and with this everyone mentioned how amazing the entertainment staff was. I do have to mention originally we had hired a different DJ from Pure Energy Entertainment but due unforeseen circumstances he could not do the wedding. I got a call a little over a week before the wedding and Johnny (owner of the company) said I do not want you to worry I will handle everything and do your wedding myself. He promised me I would be in good hands. I only mention this because there always will be something that pops up when planning a wedding. It is important you have vendors that are willing to accommodate any situation that is thrown at them. Johnny's professionalism and eagerness to meet up and make me feel at ease for the wedding was more than I could ask for. I think everything happens for a reason and I couldn't be happier with Johnny and Mark entertaining our wedding guests. If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Thank you so much Johnny and Mark.

We highly recommend Pure Energy Entertainment!!! When we first inquired about pure energy, Johnny set up a time to chat with us on the phone. We instantly loved his energy and humor! Leading up to the big day, Mike made sure he had every detail correct. We wanted to have a family member play the violin as I walked down the aisle, and Mike was super accommodating with this! We didn’t have to worry about a thing and everything was perfect! Johnny kept the crowd laughing and dancing throughout the entire night! I cannot even count the number of times guests came up to me during the wedding to rave about Mike and Johnny! Overall FANTASTIC experience! I could go on for days writing great things about Mark Dixon and Pure Energy Entertainment! Mark really knows how to throw a party. The dance floor was packed all night long! Everyone was dancing! There wasn't a single lull in energy and the vibe was great. Mark was on point with everything. Mark D & his crew were AMAZING! We could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. The music was fabulous Ali g with the up lighting and everything else.
Working with everyone was so easy and the wedding night could not have been better. We received so many compliments from the guests saying they had such a great time and enjoyed everything. Mark was great at reading the crowd and getting people up and dancing on the dance floor!
Would definetly hire him and his crew again and again without hesitation!

I just got married about a month ago, and Mark was our DJ. He was awesome to work with! Pure Energy was recommended to us by our venue, and I can definitely see why! We spoke to Mark a couple times on the phone, and he really made an effort to get to know us as a couple and get an idea of what we were looking for. Their online portal was very easy to use and makes it very organized. Right after the entrances, he got almost all of our guests on the dance floor so he got about 150 up and dancing right away! Some people who aren’t even into dancing were even dancing which was impressive. He could really hype up the crowd and is very funny! My husband and I instantly felt very comfortable with him. Many guests commented on him, and how he is lively and really keeps people entertained the whole night! Our last hour of our wedding was outside, but it was raining that day and we had prearranged transportation for guests so we were worried about what to do the last hour if we weren’t able to go outside. So Mark offered to stay that extra hour if that happened and did not want us to stress at all. I highly recommend this company and Mark!

Mark was amazing! He was so responsive throughout the entire process, took the time to get to know my husband and I, the type of music we like, and how we envisioned our reception. He was the best DJ I've ever seen and I have been to a LOT of weddings. We received so many compliments on how awesome he was/how awesome the music was. He even played 30 minutes longer after our reception was suppose to be over, he kept the vibe and party going! He brought the energy and helped us throw one hell of a party that everyone is still talking about weeks later. Mark knows how to read the crowd and played all our requests. He was just amazing and I could not be more grateful that he was referred to us!

Our DJ Mark Dixon was amazing! Totally made the night everything we wanted it to be and more! The dance floor was packed the whole night! We used Pure Energy Entertainment for our wedding on June 1. Mark was incredible! I planned my wedding from Florida and their online portal literally saved my life! It was so easy to use and easy to understand! Any questions that I had along the way Mark was happy to answer them. My ceremony music was exactly what I wanted, and all the music played during the reception was absolutely perfect. My husband is hispanic and we wanted a mix of spanish music and top 40 etc. Mark executed our wishes perfectly. We wanted a party and he gave us just that! Mark is so energetic! He also started off with a fun icebreaker type of thing where he got everyone up and ready to party, it was awesome and fun and really set the tone for the night! Thank you so much Mark, for making our wedding reception fun and a night to remember!

Pure Energy was nothing short of spectacular! We had Mark Dixon as our DJ and he exceeded EVERY need for our wedding day. Any question we had was answered almost immediately. We were given a link form to fill out which really helped pick our wedding music because you could do it at your own pace and really put a lot of thought into it without feeling rushed. We really wanted our guests to get up on the dance floor right away, Mark made that happen for us. At one point my husband and I looked at each other and couldn't believe that every guest was on the floor with a smile on their face. We get compliments all the time about how fun our wedding was. Highly recommend Pure Energy for any couple planning a wedding, you will not regret it!!!!

We had Johnny K for our NYE wedding. He was the MC at my sister-in-law's wedding a year prior. Here, he kept us laughing and entertained the whole night and everyone danced all night long. We knew we had to have him when we began planning and I was thrilled when I found out he was available. He and the rest of the Pure Energy team were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. Quick responses and always pleasant when answering all my questions :). Johnny was awesome! He did everything for us and the event ran so seamlessly, I never felt stressed and it was truly the best night of our lives. Everyone of all ages was dancing all night long! My husband and I got married in December and can’t say enough about Mark Dixon and Pure Energy! From the first day of planning to the wedding day Mark’s energy and laugh were infectious. He worked with us to plan the best night possible. We are very low key people and don’t like a lot of attention on us. Mark made sure that we were comfortable and played all of our requests. There truly aren't enough words to describe to you how amazingly brilliant, talented, and caring Pure Energy Entertainment is. I have been lucky to know and work with the Pure Energy Entertainment Team for many years and when it came to planning my own wedding, I knew that I was in the BEST hands with the entire crew. During the planning process my fiance and I put our total trust in Pure Energy and my god did they deliver! The dance floor (there gorg white dance floor...) was PACKED before dinner was even served! Mark Dixon had everyone going from the introductions until the very end of the evening. Mark knew EXACTLY what to play at the right time and had E V E R Y O N E shaking it on the dance floor. Our family and friends had a ball and are still telling us (over a week later and I'm sure for many years to come) how talented Mark is! My mother keeps asking when we can have another party lol Not only was Mark fantastic, but so was everyone (Frank and Jared rocked!) and everything he brought along with him. The Mirror Me Booth was a HUGE hit for both the adults and kids, the up lighting painted the room to transform it into a new space, and the TVs showed off party pics of our guests as well as streamed live video of the night! WHO DOES THAT?! Mark even had the party pics from the event emailed to me for when I woke up the next morning. I could literally talk about these guys for hours and can't recommend and thank Johnny, Mark, Frank, and the rest of the Pure Energy Crew for making Andy's and my wedding the most magical day of our lives. We are SO grateful for everything that they did and had so much fun celebrating our special day with Pure Energy. If you are looking to have the wedding your friends will keep talking about, these are your guys! We had Johnny K as our MC and Angel as our DJ at the Oceanview on May 20th. Before the wedding, Johnny met with us to get to know us as a couple, and he really got to know us as a couple. Angel is so talented, and the music was incredible! Even with so much going on all night, they were able to keep people dancing all night! We still have people telling us how it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and Johnny and Angel were able to get people dancing that NEVER dance. AMAZING from start to finish! Johnny K and DJ Angel had my wedding guests on the dance floor all night long! Johnny K and Pure Energy crew exceeded all my exceptions and then some! They not only provided the music but also TVs, uplighting, a dancefloor, drapery, lounge furniture, tufted bars, cabana style sweetheart table, photo booth, just to name a few! They were a one stop shop for all our wedding needs. Not only were my guests up all night dancing but the room looked absolutely gorgeous, even better than I had envisioned it! I can't even call them a DJ - they are a full entertainment company. They are literally the best by far. My wedding was beyond words - the best night of my life. It could not have been possible without DJ Anthony and DJ Mark behind the turntables. Everything from start to finish was perfect. I even wanted them to stay an extra hour and extending my wedding on the spot because the party was amazing and no one wanted to leave. Mark was more like a friend throughout the whole planning process. People came up to me at my wedding and asked us if he knew us - he made it so personal and a true reflection of me and my husband. I have received so many texts and calls since my wedding two days ago saying it was the absolute best wedding they've ever gone to or that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. The dance floor was full ALL night. If you want a quiet, generic, simple wedding with no one noticing the DJ or getting up to dance then play off an ipod. But if you want an UNFORGETTABLE, UNMATCHED, HIGH-ENERGY, FUN-FILLED, PARTY that people will be talking about for years - there is no one else you should be considering but Mark Dixon and the Pure Energy team. From the moment I contacted Mark I knew that I had found the right person. His enthusiasm and responsiveness was amazing. He always knew what he could do to turn the wedding we were having into something special. He was, hands down, the best wedding DJ I have ever heard, and I was told that be several people that were at the event.

He had great ideas, worked in our hand selected music expertly and got the crowd dancing in no time. Honestly it was an absolutely fantastic dance party and it is exactly what we wanted, and more, when we hired him. I cannot sing his praises enough. We can't say enough wonderful things about Mark Dixon. We still hear about people talking about how much they loved our DJ, how Mark kept everyone dancing all night long, that because of him it was one of the best dance parties at a wedding they've ever seen. He played a great mix of music and totally knew the feel of the room. He also helped with cocktail music for us, which started off the evening great! I would book him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him for any wedding - large or small. We only had about 60 people but it felt so much bigger with everyone dancing all night! Book Mark + you won't be disappointed!

Pure Energy did our wedding at Oceanview on 07/30/2016 and we could not be happier! We used Pure Energy for the ceremony, which went flawlessly, and also the reception. Everything went so smoothly and Mike did an amazing job of amping up the crowd at the beginning of the reception. He got people dancing without having to beg them, like you sometimes hear at weddings. People wanted to dance because the music was GREAT and he literally played a little bit of everything! All announcements were perfectly timed, names pronounced correctly, and energy level up the entire night! We also added a TV monitor to our package so we could share photos during one of the dances. This not only enabled us to share pictures of my father who could not be with us at our wedding, but a photographer came along and took pictures, which he later shared on the screen during the later part of the evening! Everyone loved it. We have gotten several compliments since the wedding, and I have recommended Pure Energy to everyone. Thanks again!!

Mike Connors from Pure Energy Entertainment was the DJ at our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. He was extremely accommodating when I emailed him the morning of the wedding to change our entrance song and he made it happen. I have since been given several compliments about Mike and a few people have even suggested that they would like to book him for their own wedding. WOW! Johnny K is all I have to say! He is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a DJ, this is your guy! After my husband and my wedding, our guests were walking up to us telling us two things; number one was "That DJ was AWESOME!" and number two was "The venue is amazing!". We all know how important it is to find the right DJ, and how the DJ really does set the mood for the reception, but as a bride I didn't fully understand that until after my wedding! We were so happy with our DJ Angel Torres at Pure Energy Entertainment and the whole team for that matter! We are so glad we went with them, they were very responsive throughout the whole pre-wedding planning and very detailed! Angel Torres came highly recommended by a mutual friend and so we did not look into any other places and we are so glad we didn't! Angel Torres rocked our wedding and we have received so many comments about how good he was! There was never a dull moment and he had everyone dancing right when dinner was finished to the end of the night, there were no lulls at all! We didn't give him a big list of what to play/not to play and we told him we trusted him on music choice and he blew everyone away!! My husband and I were referred to Pure Energy Entertainment through my sister-in-law. She had gotten married a month before we got engaged and everyone could not stop raving about her DJ. We knew that with Pure Energy Entertainment we were in good hands!
We met with Johnny K, who is actually the owner. From our first meeting with him, we could tell that he knew exactly what we were looking for at our wedding. He was up to date on the latest trends and music and seemed to know exactly what to do!
A few days before our wedding, he called me and said that he had something really special planned. We had requested a photo booth and he said that he had something even better in store.
The day of our wedding, we walked into our hall at the Hyatt Regency Boston, and were blown away with the transformation of the room. From the white dance floor, to the DJ station with 2 big screen TVs with our personalized monogram that lit up the dance floor, down to the up lighting, we could not have asked for anything better! Johnny was right when he said he had something special planned for our photo booth, as well. Instead of something traditional, we had a large area with a lit up sign that said "pictures" and an attendant that would take the pictures with a laptop. There were even props for our guests to wear! Everyone could request how many copies of the pictures they wanted and they were printed right there. Every time a picture was taken, our guests placed a copy into our guest book and wrote us a note! It is our favorite keepsake from our wedding!
The most memorable part for us, had to be our first dance. We selected the "Dance in the Clouds" option. It was incredible!! As we were dancing, a cloud of smoke came around our feet and it actually looked like we were dancing in the clouds! Our guests raved about it! This company was the best choice my husband and I made. They were over the top, "Holyfield knockout", "Big Papi Grandslam" quality from the beginning till the end. We had the whole package from the Dj Mike Connors, the unreal photographer Chris Connors and last but certainly not least our MC Johnny K. We had compliments from everyone saying how did you find these guys they are unbelievable. They had everyone off their seats from the minute we entered until we left. Their professionalism, kindness and genuineness was extraordinary. Pure Energy Entertainment provided exactly what we wanted for our wedding! Mike was a blast and played perfect music throughout the entire night. The planning with them was easy and flawless. Mike and Marina answered all of our questions quickly, provided us with their website for easy planning, and provided reminders for payments. Our guests raved about how much fun they had with dancing and the bride vs. groom competition (which I, the bride, won of course!!!). Mike flowed perfectly from song to song, kept everyone excited, and provided the perfect volume with every song. My husband and I got married on 8.14.15. We had Mark Dixon as our Dj and MC and Chris Connor as our videographer. Everything was amazing!!!! Dixon is the man!!! He rocked the party from beginning to end! These guys really know their stuff!! From the ceremony music to the garter/bouquet song, cake cutting song, to dance music these guys deliver!! DJ: Mike Connors - This DJ spent some extra time with us an truly made our wedding better than what we had hoped for. Our experience with Mike requires some backstory. We got hooked up with Mike because we got Pure Energy with a package with our venue. We did not know Mike, we did not choose Mike, and we were uncomfortable about this. We went online and found videos of him DJing...it looked like a huge exciting party filled with music that, while popular, was not our type of music. So, we contacted him 9 months before our wedding, nervous about what our wedding would sound like.
Mike spent so much time with us, assuring us that this was our event, not his, and that any music that we wanted would be in our wedding. My wife is from Spain, so we were concerned that he might not have all the songs she wanted...but he got them all. Mike confided in us that the music we were choosing was not the typical music that he would play at a wedding, but not only did he play exactly what we wanted, he made it work. He got people up and dancing, he made everything sound good, he was integral to making our wedding the best day of our lives.
Photography: Chris Connor - We didn't make Chris's job easy. While we told him that we wanted some formal pictures, we told him that we mostly wanted candid pictures. We didn't know specifically what we wanted, and basically made him guess. Other than the formal pictures after the ceremony, I probably noticed Chris twice during the reception. Imagine my surprise on the last day of our honeymoon when I received an email of the most beautiful pictures of our wedding. Chris must have been everywhere all at the same time - I am amazed at how he could have captured the energy, excitement, and love of the day. We honestly received much more than what we hoped for and I cannot stop looking at our pictures, reliving the best day of my life.

We instantly fell in love with Johnny after we first him. His energy is contagious and he definitely knows how to read crowds and get everyone up on the dance floor and having fun! After talking with him, you could tell that he and his team love what they do and that they will do everything in their power to make your day a special and memorable one. We were afraid that since our wedding was on a Sunday afternoon, our guests were not going to be ready to party. We hired Johnny/Pure Energy Entertainment because we loved the way Johnny and his team were able to read the crowd and really change the atmosphere and get people ready to party and dance all night long. Mike was absolutely amazing! He called us before the wedding to go over everything and put me at ease! The music selection was perfect! Angel was our DJ at our wedding on 5/30/15 and he was amazing!! We had a great night and all of our guests keep telling us what a blast they had!! He followed our playlist and off that was able to play the perfect songs for all guests, older and young!! Everyone was dancing all night long and telling me the week after they are still feeling sore from all the fun! My husband and I met with Angel a few times before the wedding and became good friends! It was great because he was able to put a personal touch on our special day! Angel provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, uplighting, a custom light feature with our names in it, and some props that he pulled out in the middle of the night to keep the party going! I cannot thank Mark Dixon, Chris Connors and their crew enough. You guys made our wedding the most amazing experience for us. Our friends and family have not stopped talking about how awesome Mark was. He gave us the experience that we talked about on day one we met. He was over the top. We told him exactly what we envisioned and he provided that plus more. I wish we could get married again just to relive that night. I have e-mailed Mark every other week since the wedding to just say thank you and how awesome our wedding was. We need another party soon with Mark Dixon and the Pure energy entertainment crew! THANK-YOU!!!!!

Where to begin??? Johnny K and his team were absolutely the best team to work with EVER!!!! When Erik and I first met Johnny we fell in love with him right away. His energy is contagious and he is full of life and love and happiness. You can immediately tell as soon as you start talking to him how much he loves what he does and that his goals are your goals....Erik and I wanted our wedding to be EPIC, we wanted everyone on the dance floor and partying with us all night long. We wanted everyone to share in our happiness and talk about how much fun they had at our wedding forever. Johnny made that happen. I still find myself giggling because at one point during the night I stepped back and took in all the energy and saw that every single seat was empty because everyone was on the dance floor. It was so awesome to see everyone having so much fun. Erik and I wanted to take it up a notch, so Johnny helped us throw in a few surprises. He brought us foam glow sticks for everyone to dance with which was a great hit, and a C02 gun to cool everyone off because it was so hot the day we got married. It was so much fun!!! Everyone is still talking to me telling me what a good wedding it was. Clearly Erik and I hired the right people to do the job for us because our wedding was such a success!! I want to do it all over again. I told Johnny we are going to book him in a few years for our anniversary celebration and do it all over again!! DJ Angel T (Angel Torres) and Pure Energy were AMAZING! They are so professional and so good at what they do, it helped make our day absolutely perfect! In meeting with Angel in the weeks before our wedding, we mentioned two songs we really wanted to be introduced to and that we couldn't really choose and he surprised us with a PERFECT mash-up of the two! I was so blown away walking in it made that moment that much more exciting. People complimented us all night on how awesome the music was and Angel really read the crowd and kept us dancing all night. His communication was awesome and made planning easy and calmed nerves. He checked in with me and Brian throughout the night to see what, if anything, we needed. The only problem with having a DJ as good as him is that you won't find time to rest because you'll be too busy on the dance floor!

Hands down, best DJ & event service I have ever used!!! I was having a New Year's eve wedding and needed more than just your cookie cutter DJ, I wanted someone to keep the party flowing all night, and make people want to stick around for the ball drop!! Johnny K and his team were amazing!!!

From when I first met Johnny K, and to the event, he was soooo helpful in every capacity. I got a great vibe from him, and he immediately he gave me his cell phone number to call him with any questions (and was always available when I called!!!). What I loved is that I told him what I was going for (black tie, cocktail style wedding, more of a party than a reception), and he immediately offered a number of great suggestions as well as different services that fit our vibe.

He has this great online form system you fill out with all of your music suggestions, and even offers a list in case you don't know what you want. He's on top of everything, and brings a team of very friendly, organized and capable members. Most DJ's are one man shops, and sometimes have another person with them. Johnny brought 4!! Everything was taken care of from start to finish, it was amazing!!! At the end, everyone raved about Johnny & his team!!!

Oh, I would highly suggest getting his whole DJ, lighting, photobooth and video screen package. I loved seeing all of the pics they took of my guests afterwords, and what they did with the lighting throughout the night was amazing and really added to the ambiance of the event. I also added furniture because of how we had everything set up (small cocktail tables scattered, so we needed more seating). It definitely gave it more of a "party" feel.

Pure Energy Entertainment definitely strives for excellence!! They are worth every dollar I spent, and I would reccomend them to anyone!! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

If you are looking for a full service entertainment company for your wedding

LOOK NO FURTHER!

Mark Dixon And John Kelly went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding. They made my wedding day something that my wife and I and my guests will never forget. We had them provide the entertainment, lighting, dance floor , photo booth and emcee services.

I just went through the whole planning process for my wedding. It can get very stressful. PURE ENERGY ENTERTAINMENT just made it incredibly easy. There are a one stop shop. They literally have a warehouse full of props/ furniture / lighting and anything else you can think of to make your wedding pop. I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for". Let me tell you PURE ENERGY ENTERTAINMENT is worth every penny!

From the introductions at my wedding until the last song PURE ENERGY was able to create a fun atmosphere and had everyone from the young and old up on the dance floor.

THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. HANDS DOWN They made my wedding day what it was.

Having Angel DJ our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!! He had everyone on the dance floor from the second they walked into the room until the very last song. He knew exactly what we were looking for in terms of music and delivered not only that but more than we could expect. Throughout the wedding, everyone we spoke to made comments that this was the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding and people of all ages from the wedding are still talking about the music and how great it was. Angel was very professional and we would absolutely recommend him for anyone looking for a DJ!

WOW!! That's honestly the first word that comes to mind when I think back to the DJ! Mike Connors from Pure Energy Entertainment was the absolute best! During our first meeting, he mentioned that he was once a professional dancer and I knew he would be perfect for our reception! We had several really great phone conversations and I knew that he was really listening to ensure we would have the reception of our dreams. From the entrance to the final song, he managed every detail with ease. Once dinner was over, he had the dance floor jam-packed all night long playing the absolute best songs! He kept the energy up all night, pausing for some slower songs to give us a break. He didn't play any of those "cheesy wedding songs" and helped keep the party going. I would HIGHLY recommend him and the company Pure Energy Entertainment as a whole. They are very detail oriented and really create the event that you want. Great, great, great!!!

The vendor was fantastic. The photographer did a great job and was very flexible with his time. The DJ was AMAZING and kept people dancing all night. They did a beautiful job with the lighting and their administrative assistant was a pleasure to work with and was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process. I would recommend this vendor to anyone, especially as I found them to be very affordable with fantastic service. So many guests noted that it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

Angel was amazing from start to finish. We requested that he come meet us because we know how a dj can make or break a wedding. We had a great meeting with Angel. He took in our suggestions about what we wanted and had such upbeat and amazing attitude. You can tell he’s really passionate about his job and the music. When everyone tells us how much fun our wedding was I think of Angel and how he kept everyone up on the dance floor all night. We had one friend tell us that he hasn’t been to a wedding where you couldn’t finish a course because everyone just kept wanting to dance. He was such an important part of what made our day successful.

Pure Energy Entertainment is exactly that! They are high energy and so much fun! We had Johnny K as our MC and we had so many guests that came up to us and commented on how great Johnny K was! He brought the party on and had everyone on the dance floor. Both the young and old loved him. He has great charisma and brings on so much fun! Honestly, everyone loved Johnny K! He was good with the old, the young and the kids!

They also offer a tonne of other services so check those out. We used their uplighting service and photobooth. Both were great. They arrived early to setup and was very cooperative in my special request to have a side performance with a number of tracks I prepared. They are professional and really know how to throw a party! The only thing is that our flow of events and schedule did not run according to planned and we ran late. I probably did not send out the flow of events until last minute. But they were still able to make it a great party regardless.

If you want a boring DJ that just plays music off a computer, then this is not for you. If you want to bring the party on and have a great MC and not worry about guests not having a good time or entertained, then go with Pure Energy Entertainment!

Pure energy entertainment is the best option out there for chosing your entertainment for your wedding! Johny Kelly was the best MC ever! I have never had a better time at any event before! He had a way of making the entire atmosphere so fun that noone wanted to sit the entire wedding! We were pulling people off of the dance floor when It was time to leave! We all felt like we had known Johny forever. Their pricing is very reasonable and even if it were more it would have been worth the money! Any time I needed help with planning pure energy entertainment contacted me right away and gave the best advice. I highly reccomend them!

Ruined my wedding - do not book

DO NOT BOOK THEM!!!!!. I am shocked that they are a preferred vendor of The Oceanview. We booked them a year in advance, had one conversation, and then heard nothing again until two weeks before the wedding only because I repeatedly called and emailed them, we received zero communication. When we finally got on the phone Monday before the wedding, Johnny asked me the same questions I had already answered in the portal, we went over our first dance song since I needed them to merge 2 versions OF THE SAME SONG together. Then, the night before the wedding, Johnny called me again, apologizing because he forgot…and asked the same questions all over again. He even tried to get me to get my laptop and go back into the portal, where everything was already there. The next day, they messed up our first dance song horribly after I spoke to the DJ 30 minutes prior to confirm he knew what he was doing and he assured me he “does this all the time”. He even upset my Mom during cocktail hour when he asked the same question to her 4 times, when I said something to him he sat in the chair in the corner sweating in silence. He kept coming up to me and my husband telling us he was so nervous and would disappear all night, extremely disorganized, unprofessional, barely played any of the songs on our must play list or our 3 hour long Spotify playlist we gave them for inspiration. Our guests left the dance floor, complaining about the music and he was never to be seen again after the speeches, 99% sure he was drinking or on something. We asked for high energy but all he brought was chaos and ruined my night. They were even going to play one of my DO NOT PLAY songs for cake cutting.
