Sarahi was incredible in every way! She was very personable, relatable, and made the bridal makeup and hair process fun and so carefree. It was difficult for me to find my vision because I do not naturally wear a lot of makeup and rarely do anything fancy with my hair beyond beach waves and top bun. Sarahi was patient, understanding and was able to 100% recreate the vision I had for my winter wedding in EVERY category. I would 10/10 recommend her for any bride, any occasion and with any style. -

Exceeded expectations!
Sarahi was organized, energetic and professional from the time she arrived until the wedding was done! She kept tabs on the wedding party making sure throughout the day that everyone had what they needed, whether it was a touch up (hot day!), something cool to drink or just needed a little break. Her services went above and beyond hair and make-up, but we ALL got some wonderful compliments on our hair and make-up and how "fresh" we looked even though the temperatures were close to 100 degrees that day! -

Sarahi is amazing at what she does! She is talented and oh so sweet. I met Sarahi at a Bridal Fair where I hired her for our middle daughter's wedding. We all loved her so much we hired her for our oldest daughter's wedding this summer. She has years of experience in the biz and there isn’t a look or hairstyle she can't do. She takes great care to make sure she exceeds your expectations. She is now our go to for all hair and makeup needs. She also does lashes and spray tans! We highly recommend her, we promise you will not be disappointed.

Sarahi was the ultimate professional. We decided to stick with our June wedding date, and have a smaller ceremony. Sarahi did make-up for five and hair for two. The wedding day can be a stressful one, but Sarahi was a calming influence on everyone. She was on-time and nothing was rushed. She made sure we all were satisfied with our looks. She listening to what we wanted, and everyone was pleased. And the looks lasted through a sunny, windy day and into the night! I highly recommend her services! I was lucky to have Sarahi as an artist!
After a series of unfortunate events with another vendor, I was left looking for a professional to complete bridal hair and makeup for myself as well as others in my wedding party 2 weeks before our wedding. I was connected with Sarahi through a vendor recommended by our venue. After hearing my story Sarahi gave up her personal day to help my bridal party and me. She was extremely professional, flexible, talented at what she does, and took the time to complete the look everyone had envisioned. Everyone looked beautiful and was extremely satisfied with her work! -

Angela Sent on 04/01/2018I feel so blessed that I found Pure Elegance and Sarahi! We flew out to Oregon from Wisconsin for a destination wedding at Timberline Lodge and after struggling to find a hair and makeup stylist, I happened upon Sarahi's contact info. Upon confirming that she was available on our date, she didn't hesitate for moment to book my appointment. I appreciated the fact that she was willing to travel to Government Camp and also take my appointment even though it was services for the bride only (we had a very small wedding with no bridal party). I was comfortable with Sarahi as soon as I met her! She listened to my vision of how I wanted to look and nailed it! She was open to feedback and did whatever she could to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my look. On the wedding day, she arrived early and stayed right on schedule. Through the whole process, Sarahi was professional, accommodating, and friendly. She is incredibly talented and my hair and makeup was flawless for the entire day and night. I can't imagine my wedding day without her!

Sarahi did a good job! She is super sweet, easy to communicate with, and punctual. The trial went well and we were able to adjust how big my fake lashes were (they were too big during the trial so she was able to make them look more natural day-of). However, I had a couple minor hiccups. The first hiccup I had was that I liked my hair better during the trial than on the day of. I wanted a part-up, part-down look with a fishtail braid. This is exactly what I got during the trial. When she did my HMU on my wedding day she asked me if I would like the same hair style as I had during the trial, and I said yes. When my hair was done, it was a normal braid, not a fish tail braid. She asked me if I wanted her to re-do it, but it was already done, so I just left it. It wasn't that big of a deal to me, but can understand it could be a bigger deal to others. I would just be sure to over communicate what you want to her, especially on the day-of. The second hiccup I had was that my mom's fake lashes fell off two hours after HMU, and we were not given any kind of touch up kits or tips on how to keep our makeup in-tact throughout the day and into the night.
Honestly, these are fairly minor issues. All in all, Sarahi did a great job and I would recommend her to others. -

Sarahi came to my hotel room at 5am ready to go. I had a difficult timeline and she was able to get everything done in a timely manner. I felt beautiful and still looked like myself. -

Sarahi was a joy to work with for my wedding! I showed her a few pictures and she delivered the look exactly the way I wanted it. I even decided to have her put in some clip in hair extensions last minute and it looked amazing. She also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids! -

As a bride I do not recommend Sarahi in any capacity
I am not usually one to write bad reviews but I would hate if someone else had to go through the experience I did just barely a month before my wedding.
Initially Sarahi was very sweet, easy to contact and communicated back and forth in a timely manner. Unfortunately Sarahi broke her hand a few days prior to my initial hair and makeup trial. Life happens, this was not a big deal, we rescheduled for after her surgery when she thought she would be able to start working on hair and makeup again. Again, she communicated everything very well and was super sweet about the unforeseen circumstances.
The day of my hair and makeup trial was a complete disaster. My hair was the first to be done, she asked what I was going for, I showed her my inspiration photos and then she began to go to work. 2 hours later she was done, she only had one good hand to work with so I assume it took much longer then normal to fix, she couldn’t even pickup a bobbie pin with her bad hand. Again, this was not her fault she broke her hand, but I was hoping for a little more forthcoming about how she still wasn’t able to use her hand while fixing hair. When I looked in the mirror after she was done I was shocked, my hair looked nothing like my inspiration photos. I honestly thought she had wasn’t done with it yet but then she started moving toward her makeup. I understand this is a trial, so I told her what I’d like to make it better, maybe some more volume here and what not, her response was, “okay I’ll do that the day of the wedding”. My understanding of a trial was it was suppose to look like the day of so there were no surprises. I did not get this.
When Sarahi started on my makeup she asked ZERO questions on what I wanted. I’m not one to wear a ton of makeup and was hoping for a more natural look. This was not what I got. The makeup for one, did not even match my skin tone. My two best friends who were with me were shocked. When leaving my trial I was told, the makeup will take time to settle. Little did I know this would take 6 hours, before I felt even remotely comfortable going in public. Not only that, but my hair did not even make it to the car before Bobbie pins started falling out.
After communicating my concerns with Sarahi and her blaming me for: my face being too dry, my eyelashes not being thick enough, and my hair extensions for being too heavy, all things I thought was apart of her job, I decided to cancel my contract. This did not go over well and I’m continuing to try and get some sort of refund for the 50% deposit I had to put down prior to the trial. -
