    My husband and I as well as all of our guests absolutely love Punderson Manor!!! The staff is top notch, especially Megan, our event planner. In the event that I had an idea that was out there, I would bring it up to Megan and her attitude was that of, "you just tell me what you need and we will do our best to make it happen for you." It was because of her help that the feedback from our wedding was in regards to the best even people ever attended. This venue was very accommodating. They were very professional as well but also had a very positive uplifting attitude. My husband and I as well as family members look forward to using this as a meeting up for family get-togethers and other special events.

    This place was so outstanding! The wedding coordinator here eagerly went above and beyond what we expected throughout our year-long planning! There really was nothing that the staff wouldn't do for us. Everything from the food/bar to the dinner set-up was flawless. We couldn't have picked a better place to get married.

    Punderson Manor Lodge was the perfect location for our wedding. They offer multiple package deals for events that range from buffet style to plated meals, multiple main dishes and sides to choose from, and drink packages. The location also offers cabins that can sleep between 6-8 people and rooms inside the manor house, which was great for those who had to travel to attend. The bridal suite was absolutely beautiful, and can't wait to stay there again! The wait staff were very friendly and were willing to stay late, and the bar tender had some of the best stories about the lodge. We worked with Megan Cataldo, the event coordinator, and she worked her butt off to help make our day perfect. She was quick to respond and full of ideas. Thank you Punderson staff for being amazing and helping make our day perfect!

    My fiancé and I were looking for a unique venue for a holiday weekend destination wedding for our whole family without breaking the bank. Punderson delivered everything we had hoped for and so much more. Our out of town guests could choose between the hotel or cabins yet everyone had access to the restaurant, pools, golf course and more. The staff was wonderful and our weekend went off without a hitch! A great getaway just 30 minutes from the city!

    We held our rehearsal dinner at Punderson Manor Lodge and it was beautiful. Megan was a dream to work with! She was so responsive and quick to offer suggestions. The service in the St. James Dining room was nice. Unfortunately, there were two other events that night, so the staff (and the kitchen) were stretched a little thin. But our meal was delicious and the staff was very helpful. And it was affordable for the location - a meal for 35 cost under 1K.

    We wanted to turn our wedding into a weekend celebration. We had 95 people stay for the weekend between the lodge and the cabins. We did a rehearsal dinner at the cabins Friday night, a golf outing Saturday, an outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake, and a reception in the manor lodge. Our guests are still raving on how much they enjoyed everything.

    We could not have been more pleased. The staff was amazing! Megan, our wedding coordinator made everything run smoothly. The catering staff was incredible. Every staff member we came into contact over the entire weekend went out of their way to make our day perfect.

    We stayed in the Windsor suite, which was spacious and lovely. It had plenty of room to let my bridesmaids and I get ready before the wedding then just walk down to the side lawn for the ceremony. The atmosphere is perfect for pictures as well. You get the elegance of the lodge and the rustic decor of the grounds.

    We will definitely be back for our anniversaries. I am sure many of our guests will too!

    Most of my poor scores are related to my experience with the Events Coordinator Amy Otto.
    She is training a new girl for her position or to work for her.. im not sure. I believe her name is Megan ( i could be mistaken as she has just come on less than a month before my wedding) SHE IS AWESOME

    Amy rarely contacted me and was always changing her statement or facts based on the person. I had a horrible experience with her, but the new girl is wonderful

    As to the actual site: It is a beautiful place. My wedding was just under 90 people, the inside reception area, the maple room, was perfect for this amount of people and a photo booth. The waiters were wonderful! very prompt and polite (so of course they got to eat my cake with our permision!) I had my dance floor as the patio, It worked! there was more room that a traditional dance floor and with a tent over the patio, it stayed cool as the tent kept the sun away and the breeze was our personal air conditioning. The benches outside were also a bonus, with members of the family also enjoying the small bon-fire on the patio.

    Its a perfect place. its beautiful and relaxing.

    JUST ONE BAD THING. it may be difficult to maneuver people in wheelchairs as access to the elevater is through the pool area which is very slippery and then down a large patio-ramp. Wheelchair people must go outside to access the reception hall.

    I was charged for rooms that no one registered for. The reception room, Maple Room, was not cleaned or prepared by 1:00 on sunday-our wedding reception was to start at 4:00. My maid of honor and mother of groomsmen had to vacuum and clean the room in order for the room to be prepared.

    If I could give Punderson a rating of 0, I would. My fiancé and I planned to do room blocking here for our wedding and then a large brunch the day after. Met with Christine in their marketing and sales department in February and she went through all the details of what we needed to do to room block and book. Fabulous. I knew I needed to do this at least a year before our June 2019 wedding, so in the beginning of April I emailed her to get the ball rolling. No response. Sent a second email a week later, still no response. I sent a third email with no response before I decided to contact someone else at Punderson. That person, Megan in catering, assured me she’d speak with Christine and get the rooms blocked and contact me ASAP. NO RESPONSE. Throughout all the planning and booking I’ve been doing for my wedding, no other business has ignored a potential client like Punderson has. I literally wanted to throw my money at them by renting out hotel rooms, a shuttle, a conference room for a brunch, and the actual brunch! If you’re planning on having an event here- I’d seriously reconsider. Extremely unprofessional.
