  Since day one Sonia was professional, knowledgeable, responsible and accessible. Her work and service were excellent before, after and during our wedding!!! Hiring Sonia as our partial wedding planner was the best decision ever. Everything was perfect even the reception, which Villa Montana and their staff were in charge of. All I can say is that I'd recommend Sonia with closed eyes! :)

  We had the pleasure of working with Sonia for our wedding on May 5th and she was on top of everything. She was very responsive and timely during the wedding planning process and we kept in constant communication despite the damage caused by hurricane Maria and being ~3000 miles away from us. When a "crisis" arose she was quick to find solutions and often would dip into her many "connections" to resolve issues. She was able to bridge the language and distance between Non-English and non-Spanish speaking family members. At the rehearsal she made sure everyone knew what to do, even though our wedding party included both non-English and non-Spanish speakers. She kept everyone on task while making them feel comfortable.
  During the wedding ceremony together with her assistant she kept everything running smoothly and helped me remain calm despite a few hiccups. She really shined at the reception where she helped coordinate all the events, timing, vendors, guests, wedding party and activities. My husband and I owe her our deepest gratitude for going above and beyond in making the wedding of my dreams a reality. You would be very fortunate if she has the availability to coordinate your event!

  Sonia was indispensable for our wedding. We planned our Rincon wedding of 50 guests from California (with all of our guests coming from overseas). Sonia helped us before and after the hurricane to finalize details with vendors, hire any missing vendors (all of her recommendations were great!), visit the venue, layout the tent and tables, set up the reception area before the wedding day, deal with last minute details and changes the week before the wedding, and coordinate on the day of. Sonia was always available, very professional and personable, on time, and a really, wonderful support. We only received great compliments from our guests on how the wedding was well-planned and organized. Sonia goes above and beyond for her clients. We highly recommend Sonia and would not have had such a beautiful day without her.

  Sonia was very kind, attentive, responsible and punctual. Every meeting we had with her she was very organized and had alo of the details covered. She was able to handle any situation so that we would be a lot less stressed about it. Sonia is also very good with communicating with people and can get along well with anyone. I have trouble with my Spanish sometimes so it was really nice that she was bilingual and was kind enough to translate a lot of the paperwork that was in Spanish for me. Thank you Sonia helping our dream wedding become a reality and being so helpful, it would not have been the same without you!

  Hiring this coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. Even though I only had a DOC package, Sonia helped me find vendors, track them down when needed, and even helped me get paperwork and phone calls done for my Catholic ceremony. It was really worth it, and my wedding weekend was incredible. I especially liked how I got to focus on myself the day of the wedding! This vendor really provides a reliable service, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

  My son and daughter-in-law used Sonia and Puerto Rico Island Destination Weddings for their event in March 2017. Everything about the wedding was amazing and we were so happy with Sonia and her team. Destination weddings can be particularly stressful and it was such a relief to have Sonia's calming presence with us throughout the weekend. She has an incredible ability to keep the bride and groom calm during all the craziness - and I can't even express how grateful I was to her for all the help she gave me and my family who traveled to Puerto Rico from all over the US. She worked with at least a dozen vendors and kept them all on their toes so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. That was the best thing about Sonia and her team - we didn't have to worry about a thing. And the wedding was magical. Absolutely magical. Thank you!!

  As many of you know, planning a destination wedding can be incredibly challenging and considering the fact that my Spanish is limited, it was even more challenging to plan in Puerto Rico. We found Sonia through a referral from another vendor and we couldn't be happier with her services. Having her help with our final wedding preparation and being there at the rehearsal and big day was essential. She and her assistant worked so hard to make sure everything turned out successfully. Throughout the process she was easy to communicate with and always had prompt responses. Anytime I needed advice or last minute questions, she was always available to help me. The week of the wedding was super helpful to have her around and she made sure any last minute unplanned "fires" were always resolved before I even knew about them. I felt our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I know much of it was in part to Sonia's hard work. I HIGHLY recommend her services! If you have any doubts about hiring a wedding planner, you will not be disappointed with Sonia!! She's wonderful!
