We got married at Puerto Hermina and everything was perfect! I planned a vow renewal as a surprise for my wife and I, and when searching for "How to get my vows renewed in Puerto Rico", our friends at PR Destination Weddings came up. I looked through the available locations, and saw Playa Princesa, and immediately knew that I had to have the ceremony there.
When I contacted Joanna with what I wanted, the correspondence was quick and painless. In fact, the correspondence was good enough that there wasn't that much of it: there didn't need to be. I booked the elopement ceremony (we were doing a vow renewal so no paperwork was needed), along with the included photographer and added a guitarist. I requested that he learn our wedding song, which they agreed to do.
They warn about cell service on the beach, but my T-Mobile was fine. We stayed in town at a small AirBNB called Mar Bonita, and it was about 5 minutes from the location, and adequate. Woke up the day of the ceremony, arrived in plenty of time, and Joanna, her guitarist, and the photographer, Angel met us. After quick introductions, we made our way to the beach, and went through the ceremony. Angel took over, after that, and snapped a bunch of pictures walking down the beach that were instant treasures for us. We walked back down the beach, where suddenly a second guitarist had appeared (what a value!) and together with the first guitarist, they played and sang, with harmony, our wedding song. Talk about a core memory.
Everything was perfect. I can't thank Joanna enough, and I can't recommend her enough... PR Destination Weddings knocked it out of the park. -

My wife and I were so nervous about pulling off a wedding in Puerto Rico when we lived in New York . Rest assure everything was exactly how we pictured it . The process was so seamless and easy ! Selecting a destination wedding in Puerto Rico with PR Destination Weddings was the most optimal decision we have ever made. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. Despite being from Pennsylvania and having never visited Puerto Rico, we were able to plan our dream beach wedding at Puerto Hermina with ease. Ashley and Joanna were incredible to work with, answering all of our questions and providing exceptional service. We utilized their limousine services, barefoot on the beach wedding package, decor/flowers, and 'let us take care of everything' package, and the results were breathtaking. The drone footage video they provided was delivered within a month, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to choose PR Destination Weddings. If you're considering them for your destination wedding, do not hesitate - you will not regret it! -

We had the most beautiful elopement in Puerto Hermina because Joanna, Ashley, Angel & the team at Puerto Rico Destination Weddings. I highly highly highly recommend Puerto Rico Destinations Weddings! I had my wedding August 13th 2022 and when I tell you we made the best decision to have it in Puerto Rico! When we found this place Joanna was nothing but exceptional. Any questions we had we asked and she gave us an answer immediately. In the case she needed to research she got back to us asap . Joanna spoke with my me about our dream wedding and they took care of some behind the scenes day of decor and such. I was so shocked at how beautiful the venue was and so was my Husband. The food was AMAZING! We chose the fish as an option as well as chicken. One thing we were super excited about was that you wouldn’t even notice there was an amazing view. We invited 30 people and there was more than enough room. There are no words to describe this place! I have been planning a wedding for 7 months the place I was supposed to get I decided last not to rent it wasn't pretty enough for me. I just googled destinations wedding and I was absolutely shocked when I seen this! I looked at over 20 venues this was the prettiest I ever saw not only did they do everything I wanted… They listened 2 everything I wanted and made my dream wedding into a reality and was 30× more affordable then any other place. The decor with the scenery looked like a $150,000 wedding they made a amazing RumPunch my guest loved they served and cleaned up as needed and more. I drove them crazy and they didn't mind. I can't say good enough things about them I wish I could do it again thank you so much again Joanna and Ashley!!!! -

We had the most beautiful wedding ceremony in Puerto Hermina, Puerto Rico that was made possible by the amazing professionals Joanna, Ashley & team at Puerto Rico Destination Weddings. Although I was a bit hesitant about having a wedding in a destination where I had never even been, the communication beforehand was great and reassuring. The team listened to everything that was important to us, like making sure our two young kids were part of the ceremony, and delivered all we had hoped for and then some. From the limo that picked us up from San Juan, to the sweet makeup artist who worked magic on my hair, makeup & helping to get me dressed, to the incredibly talented photographer and videographer who captured stunning images to help commemorate our special day, everything was taken care of with amazing detail. The location was breathtaking and perfect and all we had to do was show up.
We are eternally thankful for everything the team did to make it such a beautiful and memorable day for us and our family and can't thank you enough.
We HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone looking to have a beautiful ceremony on a magical island. -

From the time my incredible Angel and I were just two kids in love we fantasized about being married on the beach in Puerto Rico. Finally our dream was taking shape. I started looking at options. The longer I looked the more confused I got. I found serval different services to compare. Each shared very different information. Seemingly each day brought more and more confusion and frustration. After using multiple web sites and services to methodology widdle down to the best option. I began speaking to several companies about our ideas and requirements for our big day. This process simply increased my inhibitions since everyone had a different story about the legal requirements for a Puerto Rican Destination Wedding. I was almost at the point of despair. I just couldn’t imagine the stress this caused. All that was needed was one discussion with Ashley. Wow, it was simply the best thing that I did in my process. From A-Z every bit of the stress just went away. Honestly, the rest of the time until our Wedding I actually felt like all the weight was lifted. No stress, just pleasure. Ashley and her staff left me with absolutely nothing to do except enjoy everything about the experience. We absolutely couldn’t ever have thought it could be like this. I had an unbelievable experience with PR Destination Weddings. On our wedding day I literally felt like I was in a dream. I watched so many videos before our wedding day and couldn’t wait until it was our turn and it exceeded our expectations. When I met Ashley I felt like I met a celebrity because I had seen her officiate so many weddings in the beautiful videos on their YT channel. Our photographer and videographer were AMAZING. We got our photos back and our vibe was captured beautifully. We are waiting on our video but I can only imagine it’s just as beautiful as our photos. Can’t say enough about the staff from photographer (Angel) to the planner (Joanna) all were amazing. This event planned last minute and everything came out beautifully. Communication was good excellent. Everything I asked was able to be done. Hope in the future to use destination weddings for my vow renewal. Can’t say enough. Photographer did an Amazing job considering the high winds and my dress was really big on me and he manage to capture the right angles at the right time. Very sweet and professional. Ashley was amazing as well. Loved everything! -

Beyond Expectation
Our Puerto Rico Destination Wedding was everything we dreamed of! We met Ashley about 15 months before our wedding as we were exploring our options. She invited us down to Puerto Rico (from Chicago) to see the Hacienda, meet the chef and explore ceremony locations. We initially thought we'd have a very small ceremony (30 people or less) and a small reception back at our hotel. As we got closer to our wedding date and COVID restrictions started to subside, our guest list doubled! Ashley, Joanna, and team were able to accommodate and made us feel at ease! From the moment we signed our contract in March 2021 to our wedding day in May 2022, we were always in constant communication with Ashley and Joanna! Not only were they accommodating but they made you feel like family.
From the personal touches at ceremony at Túnel de Guajataca to our reception at Hacienda222, we felt at home! Our guests are still telling us months later that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! And that’s saying A LOT!
We will absolutely be back in PR with Puerto Rico Destination Weddings to renew our vows in 5 years!

Having a wedding ceremony was just out of the question for me - growing up in rural Alaska was rough and celebrating anything, always ended in a disaster, so it is absolutely hard for me to welcome or celebrate anything. Elopement of our dreams
he team at Puerto Rico Destination weddings were absolutely amazing for our Elopement ceremony at Guajataca Tunnel. Every detail- from the email/call communications with Joanna, Ashley and Christina, Lulu with hair and makeup, Angel and Willy with videography and photography! We are blown away!
The team made the planning process a breeze! Simple, clear communication was provided for what we needed to have the ceremony be a legal ceremony, and we received our marriage license in record time!
Lulu was prompt and efficient with her time! Doing hair and makeup for two brides before 8am is no small feat- and I think she knocked it out of the ballpark.
Willy and Angel provided perfect direction for us to make our photos and video turn out very natural and fun! (If you are debating on getting the video footage- do it, it's worth every penny). We have had so many compliments on our photos and the vibrancy of them!
And Joanna- my gosh, her words during our ceremony were absolutely breath taking (almost like she's known us for years). She also allowed us to be in the moment and together in such an intimate piece of time. Standing in a field together and it felt like there wasn't anyone around for miles.
All in all we would not have changed a thing about our wedding day. Thank you to the team! -

To start, I didn't have my elopement with this company. However, if my location was closer to them I 10000% would have. I had many problems while planning my wedding at a hotel hotel canceled the whole thing on a whim and planned an elopement. From the multiple times I changed my plans and reached out to them, they were always so willing and ready to help us plan our perfect day. Each time I was greeted with excitement and recommendations. If you're thinking about booking with them, do it! The package deals are a steal if you're a bride wanting to do minimum work. -

If you're currently planning a wedding, you know better than anyone that, for whatever reason, everyone in your life chooses NOW to be an unbearable nuisance. That is amplified 10 fold when you only give your guests 60 days to plan a trip from Maryland to Puerto Rico for an elopement! The only people in this world that didn't make me want to murder everything and everyone were my husband and the incredible team of people at PR Destintaion Weddings.
My husband and I got engaged in December of 2019. As you all know, shortly after that, the world exploded. We would start to plan the wedding here and there but decided we would wait out the storm to really start planning our wedding. However, that storm never really let up. After almost 2 years of being engaged, we were tired of not being married to one another. We decided that we would find a flight to Puerto Rico and plan everything else around that. I stumped upon PR Destination Weddings and was immediately relieved that all I had to do was show up. Afterall, I really just wanted to be married to my boo.
PR Destination Weddings allowed me to focus on what was truly important the day of our wedding: getting married to my King. Sunflowers are incredibly important to me and when I say the whole ground was covered in them, they were COVERED. Everything was perfect, even down to their rescue dog who wore a matching sunflower ribbon around her neck.
Your wedding day is always going to be stressful. No matter what you do, even if it's a small ceremony, there are going to be hiccups and bumps. But, if you want to get married, feel like a queen (or king!), get BOMB photos, and share a truly magical and unforgettable day with your loved one, PR Destination Weddings is for you. I couldn't have dreamed of a better ceremony myself.
Thank you PR Destination Weddings for giving me the best day of my life. Everyone go get married there! And if you're single, marry yourself! I don't care just get your butt over there! -

I wish I had the right words to explain how amazing working with Ashley and her team at PR Destination wedding was. When my now husband and I got engaged in 2018 and decided to get married in Puerto Rico so his family could be present, we knew we did not want a traditional wedding. By searching online I stumbled upon Ashley and PR Destination Weddings (at that time she did not have the Hacienda or I would have booked her for everything, you should book her for EVERYTHING trust me!) I reached out to Ashley with some questions and she was quick to respond with all the information I needed and I booked her for our 2020 wedding. In early 2019 due to personal issues we had to postpone our date to 2021, which was no issue for Ashley and a blessing in disguise as 2020 turned into the year of COVID. Even as our date in 2021 approached, I was concerned about COVID restrictions on the Island. Ashley was reassuring and calming to us in her emails. Throughout the changing landscape, Ashley and her team changed plans along with us. When our venue needed to change the hours of our reception due to curfews on the Island, Ashely and her team had no issues in accommodating us and changing the time frame of our day. Ashley arranged for our makeup artist to come to our hotel and help get my bridal party and myself all glammed up for our day. Nina was amazing to work with, I am not a huge makeup fan and Nina did a great job making me feel absolutely beautiful for the big day. Ashley also arranged our Angel, or beyond incredible photographer to come to the hotel for photos of us getting ready. Angel also spent the entire day with us until the end of our reception and was beyond a pleasure to work with. Our photos are so stunning, I can't even put into words. ( I worked in the wedding photography industry for over 17 years and my photos are some of the best I have ever seen, and I am not being biased. We are blessed to have had Angel working with us) The team at PRDW set up a beautiful space for our wedding at the Ruins in Aguadilla and our guests were blown away with it's beauty. For our ceremony, I wanted my Jewish background to be present as well as my husbands Puerto Rican background. Ashley was able to merge the Jewish traditions I wanted along with Taino elements for a truly unique and special ceremony. Our families and friends were stunned with how perfect everything was. Ashley and her team hit it out of the park with our wedding. It was a perfect day from start to finish and it would not have been possible with out PRDW!! Ashley, you are a wonder woman and we are still talking about what a perfect day it was. We could not be happier. I know everyone thinks their wedding is the best, but I know with certainty (and some jealous remarks from my friends) that our day wedding truly was the best and it was all possible because of PRDW! Thank you just doesn't seem like enough, but Thank you Ashley and team. It's apparent you all love what you do and because of that we had the more perfect day. -

From the very first time we contacted her, to our AMAZING wedding, and follow-up with pictures, videos and marriage documents, Ashley and her team have been more than professional, accommodating, and on top of everything every step of the way...even during a pandemic! We provided her with all of our documents and she took care of the rest...all we had to do was show up! Ashley clearly knows the island very well, so when our original spot for our wedding wasn’t going to be available the day of our wedding, she didn’t panic but provided us with an even better alternative location! Our wedding was even more beautiful and we could have even imagined, and the location….BREATHTAKING! Ashley & the entire team were wonderful. We are PR residents but wanted a streamlined and stress free elopement during the pandemic. This company provided it! I loved my hair and make up - the artist was straightforward, attentive and listened to what I wanted. Not only did I look great, but I also looked like "me." The photographer and videographer were very professional and laidback so it was easy to relax for photos. If you can, splurge on the drone footage! It is well worth it! Ashley's ceremony was the perfect length, it was appropriately personal and intimate. I love that they are a one-stop-shop, are confident in their process, timely, friendly - they've got a strong & established business. The entire process was excellent - you won't find a better company. -

Last minute, intimate elopement on the beach
I can only say wow about these folks! We had decided to get married just 3 weeks before actually going through with it and Ashley and her team made it so easy and understandable. The whole process was super easy and made it so we could just show up and get married! They even coordinated the photographer, which did an amazing job, and a hair and makeup artist who made me feel so beautiful! Ashley and her team were amazing to work with! After cancelling 3 times due to the pandemic, we decided to celebrate with a destination elopement instead. Ashley made planning super easy and was available via text & email, which was super convenient. She helped take care of all the necessary paperwork and made the process super easy and stress free- which was much needed and appreciated during this crazy time! The ceremony she wrote for us was stunning, and written as if she had known us for years. Destination micro wedding
So happy to have found Puerto Rico Destination Weddings. Not having a clue where to start, they walked me step by step and helped me to organize our documents and details for our special day. They took off all the stress from having to plan from the states and through covid restrictions. They were also extremely flexible. Their site, el vagón, made the perfect location with spectacular views, rustic style, and dreamy ambiance. Ashley and her team did a great job. The communication was very easy beforehand, and we were prepared for all we had to do to get the documents we needed in PR. We are from Ohio, and she walked us through each step needed to legally get married in paradise. Her photographer and hairdresser did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the photos. There were over 200 taken with all angles of the wedding covered. We are able to print out any moment we want from the day. Ashley did a great job giving us suggestions on the ceremony and location for the wedding while not pressuring us to take her suggestions if we had other ideas. "Perfecto"!!
WOW, Where do I begin? So, I wanted to surprise my wife of 15 years with a renewal of our vows while visiting Puerto Rico. As your typical husband, I am not a very good planner with this sort of thing. That is where Ashley, Joanna, Angel and her team of professionals stepped in and took my surprise idea and made it a "forever" loving memory. My wife had no clue and was so shocked and surprised of what Ashley arranged for us. From a beautiful ceremony on top of a scenic rooftop in Old San Juan to a 5 star ceremonial dinner. (Thank you 352 Guest House) For me, my wife, our children and friends, PERFECTO says it all for a day that built a lifetime memory. Thank you.

When we started planning our wedding, my now husband and I were starting to feel very overwhelmed with all of the decisions we would have to make. With neither of us being very decisive people, this was starting to cause anxiety. That's when we started looking into doing a destination wedding. I can't say it was the most beautiful place because to me all of Puerto Rico is beautiful. I can say that this was the perfect place for our wedding though. Ashley was so kind and helpful before our special day and the day of. She even got a hair stylist and makeup person for my now lovely wife as time was running out and she wanted to look gorgeous.
