Our wedding was everything we could have ever imagined. Lupita and her team were amazing and so attentive. We felt like stars the whole night. I wish we could do it all over again - it was so magical!

El lugar es espectacular, un escenario que de verdad dejó impresionados a todos nuestros invitados. Muchos de nuestros invitados no conocían Puerta Cortés y se quedaron asombrados con esta belleza. La comida fue deliciosa, llena de sabores exquisitos que todos disfrutaron muchísimo, y el servicio de los meseros fue impecable.

Gracias por ser parte de este día tan especial y por superar todas nuestras expectativas. Sin duda, recomendaría Bodas by Puerta Cortés a cualquier pareja que busque vivir una boda inolvidable. ¡Mil gracias por todo!

My husband and I just had out wedding at Puerta Cortés and had the most incredible experience. Our guests had an amazing time and raved about the place, views and food! We had our ice-breaker at Barco, our ceremony at hole 16 and our reception at Sunset. The entire staff made our wedding so memorable along with our wedding planner. Could not have picked a better location for such an important day and celebration. My sister had her wedding at Cabo and our guests still said our’s was the best wedding they had ever attended.

The best way to describe our special day here is to say it was a surreal dream. Highly recommend this gorgeous venue, our guests loved the food and the service was top notch. Everyone was flabbergasted with the beauty of the venue, the place speaks for itself, amazing views everywhere you look, it’s just perfect, we cannot speak highly enough of this venue and their amazing staff!

Having my wedding at Puerta Cortés was the best decision ever!! The team was incredible and even though I did not have a wedding planner, they made the process seamless and easy. Truly an unbelievable experience, I cannot recommend this place and this team enough!!!!

La estupenda atención y apoyo de Lupita Rochin y su equipo, el Increíble trato y eficacia del Capitán Abraham y Meseros de Cardón así como la entrañable perfección de los platillos preparados por el Chef Enrrique Valenzuela, hicieron que todo conjugara de una manera mágica e inolvidable.

Ha sido para nosotros como pareja un sueño hecho realidad haber logrado compartir con nuestros amigos y familiares una cena tan intima y relevante en nuestras vidas, rodeada de amor y detalles perfectos proporcionados por Cardón y Puerta Cortes.
Sin duda la mejor decisión que pudimos haber tomado para una compartir noche tan especial con la gente que amamos.

Estamos y estaremos sumamente agradecidos con todas las atenciones recibidas, con todos los detalles bien planeados y ejecutados, con todo el Respeto y Cariño que logramos sentir por este maravilloso equipo.

Muy buena experiencia, muy accesibles, muy buen servicio y trato amable hacia nosotros y con los invitados, todo salió perfecto, la comida con muy buen sazón. Lo recomiendo mucho para eventos, por el lugar hermoso y buen servicio.

I don't even know where to begin. Choosing Puerta Cortes as our wedding venue was the best decision I made during my wedding planning process. Puerta Cortes offers stunning views of the Sea of Cortez during the day and breathtaking sunsets at night. It is the most private and unique venue. The service is SUPERB. From the lobby, to the waiters, to room service, to the drivers, to the most amazing wedding coordinator, Lupita. We did our wedding in Campo de Golf, with a cocktail hour at Sunset Lounge. The food, the food was perfection. Everyone at the wedding said the food was delicious, as well as the cocktails. Everything was beautiful. I can't thank the team at Puerta Cortes enough for their excellent service and hospitality. A dream come true!
No sé ni por dónde empezar. Elegir Puerta Cortés como lugar de celebración de nuestra boda fue la mejor decisión que tomé durante el proceso de planificación de mi boda. Puerta Cortés ofrece impresionantes vistas del Mar de Cortés durante el día e impresionantes puestas de sol por la noche. Es el lugar más privado y único. El servicio es EXCELENTE. Desde el lobby, hasta los camareros, el servicio de habitaciones, los conductores y la increíble coordinadora de bodas, Lupita. Celebramos nuestra boda en Campo de Golf, con una hora de cóctel en Sunset Lounge. La comida, la comida era perfecta. Todos en la boda dijeron que la comida estuvo deliciosa, al igual que los cócteles. Todo era hermoso. No puedo agradecer lo suficiente al equipo de Puerta Cortes por su excelente servicio y hospitalidad. ¡Un sueño hecho realidad!

Desde el 1er contacto con ellos fueron muy amables, estuvimos escogiendo venue para nuestra boda y Lupita fue siempre la que nos data la información más rápido y más completa; la location de la playa es perfecta, la comida encantó a nuestros invitados, nuestra suite de novios fue preciosa. Lupita y sus asistente estuvieron pendientes de inicio a fin de nuestro evento, los meseros muy amables y todo el personal en el hotel, sin duda recomiendo que dejen en manos de Lupita y puerta cortes su evento, será increíble.

fuimos muy bien atedidos por todo el personal y staff en especial por Lupita Rochin, quien siempre estuvo atenta y pendiente de todos lo detalles antes, durante y después del evento.

Excelente servicio! Cumplieron con lo que esperábamos y más! Las instalaciones, el servicio, la cena de 10. Lupita estuvo muy al pendiente durante el tiempo de organización y muy atenta a las observaciones en la degustación igual que el chef. El personal muy profesional y atento al momento de recibirnos a nosotros y a los invitados, cumpliendo con los tiempos del evento y Kevin, muchas gracias, siempre a un lado de nosotros los novios para cualquier cosa que se nos ofreciera. Lovely venue

La comida estuvo excelente. El servicio ni se diga. Dale las gracias a los meseros que la verdad TODOS nos digeron que el servicio estuvo increible.
Las instalaciones igual, todo muy limpio, todo se veia divino. La verdad quedamos fasinados. Morimos por regresar y recordar todo :)

Wow. My fiancé and I visited sites all over the globe (Europe and North America primarily), but ultimately decided on La Paz for our wedding. We could not have picked a better place with Costa Baja. The food, weather, location, and staff were outstanding.

Lupita, our events coordinator, was exceptional. She offered excellent advice on everything we asked, e.g. time of the year (suggesting Oct.-Dec. to avoid the heat of the summer, and the rainy season). She was highly communicative, and regularly stayed in touch with us in the six months before our wedding date.

Tasting – Lupita organized a menu tasting with both of our families at the restaurant “Cardon”. Absolutely amazing. We elected to go with the Beef Carpaccio (I still dream of this dish), and the Steak and Shrimp for the main with grilled veggies. As we concluded the tasting, the chef came out and personally introduced himself as well. We asked for a more savory sauce for the steak portion, as we found the Bearnaise was a bit too sweet. Wow did he deliver. It tasted great, and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare.

The maître d'hôtel waited on us personally at the dinner during the wedding. He is excellent, highly attentive, and obviously manages a very tight operation as the rest of the staff did an amazing job! When we visited tables asking about the meal and the drinks, everyone was effusive about the service and the attentiveness of staff. Having so many friends and family traveling from abroad it was great to have a proficient multilingual staff available - (95% speak perfect English and Spanish).

Timing – the food came out on time for each dish and was perfect. I couldn’t believe how well arranged the cook times were, we concluded dinner in roughly one hour.

Drinks – the bar and wait staff made sure that there wasn’t an empty glass throughout the night
We provided some bourbon for a special cocktail (Manhattan) – it came out great!

Costa Baja arranged shuttles to and from the beach, and even went out of their way to provide shuttle service to the Hyatt for our guests staying there. They also opened the 19th hole club for us, making sure that the bar would remain open.

We arranged a 'Welcome Dinner & Drinks', with an a la carte menu and 'Farewell Brunch'. For both we had a huge menu to pick from, with meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. The Welcome Dinner & Drinks proved to be a huge hit. It afforded all our guests, friends, and family to mingle in a much more casual fashion prior to the nuptials. It really helped to break the ice.

Amenities and Accommodations – The suite provided to us was overlooking the marina and felt very private, but accessible and spacious for hair and make up. We had a huge patio area, with both uncovered and covered areas for our door seating or sunbathing.

Marina - we loved exploring the restaurants and shops in the Marina, the food was, again, excellent. There was also a convenience store that provides sunscreen, food and drink.

Beach club next door - we tried the beach club next door, which is members only, but has a full bar, food and excellent staff. There is a fee for usage.

La Paz, the Malecon - La Paz is an amazing city with wonderful people, delicious food and great sites to see. Tecolote, Balandra, and Espiritu Santo are worth the trip alone. Overall our guests had a fabulous time, with many remarking that they were eager to & actively planning to return.

Atentos en todo momento, muy profesionales, realmente hacen que ese dia sea inolvidable.

Sunset Lounge lo recomiendo ampliamente, vale completamente la pena, la vista, las instalaciones, Lupita Rochin gracias por tu atención siempre atenta, el resort de Puerta Cortes tiene las mejores opciones para casarte en La Paz, yo quede encantada con mi boda y el lugar donde fue valió la pena el viaje y el de todos mis invitados.

We had our wedding at Puerta Cortes and we could not have picked a better location to celebrate our nuptials! It was the most gorgeous setting, with exceptional staff and service. We are extremely grateful to the team that helped pull off this amazing weekend for us. We would absolutely recommend this venue for any couple looking to do their wedding in Baja California Sur.

We made the best decision when choosing Puerta Cortes as our weeding venue. From the beginning, Lupita and her team were super responsible, flexible, kind, and attentive.

As the time date came closer, they were accommodating in finding the best location in Puerta Cortes for the ceremony and reception - everything we planned came to life!

Even with a tropical storm coming our way, the team was very responsive and support in all ways possible. They helped move my guests as needed and helped communication throughout the weekend.

We are forever grateful.

Se cuidó cada detalle, Lupita fue muy paciente con nosotros y las peticiones. El día fue mágico y cada invitado disfrutó al máximo. El lugar es espectacular, el mejor lugar para casarse.

First of all… Lupita is a start wedding planer from the very beginning to the very end, she handle all the details perfectly.
You are lucky to have her!!!

The venue was stunning!
The decorations, tables, ceremony, arc, food, lighting, all of that was amazing!!!

The only two things I will suggest is to find a different DJ that speaks English and Spanish and has a better repertoire and diversity of music, and a better sound sistem, specially being one of the most expensive items of our wedding, we weren’t to happy with that, he didn’t even play our playlist that we gave him for party time.
We have to let go!!!

The other inconvenient we had, was the band, they were good but not great, we expected more powerful performance, and same case they didn’t play the list we gave them,
And honestly the music plays a big roll in a wedding.
