Publix cakes are just amazing! I was able to get 2 cakes to feed 140 people for a great price! They delivered the cakes for a small fee. I would recommend getting this cake as the quality is great and the price is amazing!

Do not hesitate!! I think many couples may have the mindset that they need to use some upscale named bakery since they are ordering a wedding cake. I am here to tell you that not only was our cake beautiful and delivered on time, the delivery man was dressed in pants, white collared shirt and tie. He was awesome, telling us he hoped we had a wonderful wedding day and asked if we needed anything else. All smiles and well wishes. The cake was delicious. Better than most I have had at events!! The delivery was no extra charge and spot on time! When we ordered, the bakery even gave suggestions to make the cake look it's best. And they were right!! I will certainly use them for future events!!

We used Publix Event Planning for both our wedding cake and bridal/bridal party bouquets. I worked mainly with Hannah, who was very easy to work with and responsive to any of my questions. Our cake turned out delicious and the flowers were beautiful. They made 2 separate deliveries for us, since we needed the cake and flowers at different locations and at different times.

Definitely have pictures of what you want but they are able to make anything happen! They made my Disney cake come to life and even put all of the glass slippers on top of the cupcakes.

Publix was AMAZING. Their staff was so super nice and they always responded extremely quickly and professionally. They went above and beyond to provide top notch service, from providing unique (and delicious) cake flavors to letting us design the cake. Their prices can't be beat and the taste of the cake is better than any I've ever had...none of that sicky sweet fake icing. I never had a single thing to worry about with them because they were reliable, communicative and offered a quality product for a great, competitive price!

We got our two wedding cakes from this Publix for our October 2016 wedding! The Publix Event people at this location were awesome! Our cake tasting was great and they really helped us narrow down what we wanted! The cakes were on time, beautiful, and delicious on the day of! Great price and really, really good cakes with good fillings :) They are also really responsive with email!

We could have not found better flowers or cupcakes!! We would totally recommend Publix!

We knew two things going into picking flowers and the cake. We didn't want to spend much money, and we didn't want to look cheap. Well, Publix delivered and then some! Our flowers were so elegant and beautiful, and our cupcakes & cake topper were simple, tasty, and also stunning. We spent a fraction of what we would have spent if we had went with the big bakeries and florists, and you wouldn't have known it. Don't overpay for flowers and cakes/cupcakes. Check out Publix. You'll be more than pleasantly surprised.

I had a couple lovely ladies working with me Carrieann and Samantha with the Events planning on our Hot food ,
Appetizers, and Wedding Cake !!! They Do it All
They Food was Professionally done and boy was it delicious !!! Our guest were amazed when i told them Publix did the catering , the Guy who delivered the food was super great and friendly !!
The Price we paid was Very Fair Compaired to others who cater locally !

The venue actually recommended the Sawgrass Publix, and we saw why! They did an awesome job! We would not have thought of Publix for our wedding cake had it not been recommended. I had no idea that they even provided that service. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was so BEAUTIFUL! They deliver and save the top tier also.

We ordered our wedding cake from the Publix on Argyle Forest BLVD, next to i295 on Blanding, and we were so happy with the way our cake turned out. I worked for Winndixie at the time and I refused to get my cake from my work. Publix cakes are delicious and they have the creamiest frosting <3. Our Publix cake decorators name is Madeline and I recommend requesting her to decorate your cake if you order your cake from this Publix

Publix did an amazing job with my wedding cake and grooms cake! I got many compliments on them both! Not only was the taste delicious, but the design turned out just how I imagined. They were super easy to work with and made the whole process super smooth. I would highly recommend them! -Ansley D.

Publix Sawgrass event planning team was amazing and worked with us to stay within our budget. We were able to keep it just below our max budget. My guests loved the strawberry filled cake and it was decorated with our monogram my florist put real flowers on it and we did a sheet cake to serve to make dollars go farther.

Delicious cake! Inexpensive without skipping out on quality. Carianne was extremely professional and responsive. They also offer catering, bartending, flowers, linens, china rental, even an event coordinator. One stop shop!!!

We used Publix's Event Planners for our flowers and groom's cake. Kim in the floral department is AMAZING!!! She really took the time to understand the look I wanted for my centerpieces, bouquets and other floral touches. She executed everything PERFECTLY! The flowers were gorgeous and everything was reasonably priced.

I also requested a unique groom's cake- A circular weight (like at the gym) and Publix made it exactly how I envisioned.

Publix Event Planning services are up to par with all of the other expensive vendors and truly exceeded my expectations.

I actually used the Public Event Planning located at the Sawgrass Public in Ponte Vedra. The florist Debbie R.) did an amazing job on my flowers! I took her a photo of the bouquet I wanted and it was picture perfect when it was delivered the day of my wedding. Pricing was very reasonable and I recommend Sheryl and Deborah for event planning!

Everyone at our wedding RAVED about our cake from Publix - and we loved it ourselves!!! The carrot cake and raspberry elegance were both divine! AND the girls who coordinated our cake tasting and final order were top notch. Job well done, Publix!

Publix bakes delicious cakes, so I knew that I wanted one for our wedding. I was able to submit design requests and flavor choices and the cake was made exactly as we requested. Dorothy made the whole process from tasting to delivery seamless. Our guests didn't believe that our cake was from a supermarket :)

We used Publix Aprons Event Planning at the San Jose location for our cake and our flowers. Both came out amazing, beyond expectations. The cake looked exactly like the model we chose from their book with all the modifications we asked for. Judy, the on site florist, blew me away with how great our flowers came out. They were by far my favorite thing in the wedding, and they cost a fraction of any other private florist we priced in Jacksonville. Please do yourself a favor and make an appointment!

We have always loved Publix's bakery and when we discovered that they were one of the preferred vendors for our venue, we were thrilled and called right away to book our day / time. We were put into contact with Dorothy who was an absolute pleasure to work with, even all the way in Arizona! She requested some pictures of what we were looking for and the cupcakes and round cutting cake we ordered were just perfect. We couldn't be happier that we chose to go with them for our big day!

I highly recommend using publix for your wedding cake. When you go for a tasting they don't give you tiny slivers to taste you get 3 large cakes to taste and take home for your families opinions too! Really yummy flavors and the prices were very reasonable. Our guests loved the cake flavors.

To me, Publix cakes are the best. It was s important to us to have a cake that not only is beautiful, but is delicious as well. Publix fullfilled all of our requests and more! Highly recommended.

I have worked here as a cake decorator in mylate teens turning out 5 weeding cakes on a weekend. Alway fresh cakes and the buttercreme is made from scratch the best ever. I continue to buy all cakes here when I want to buy already made don't hesitate not one bit like I do in some grocery stores. For my wedding I wanteede to make it. I didZbuy the icing Cream cheese for the carrot and red velvet cakes I made. Fleming island publix was very helpful. I tried the hibernia one that I frequesnt but they werent as helpful in just buying the icing out right.

Wedding cake was awesome!!!! It was exactly the cake we had in our photo and the cake itself was sooo yummy :) They were so great to work with. They sent us home with an entire box of several different flavored cakes for FREE to try and determine which flavors we wanted. They delivered the cake to our location even though it was farther than usual to help me out with travel time. Sooo many people complimented on the quality and moistness of the cake. It is affordable and tasty and worth every penny :)

Publix did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. We knew from the moment we got engaged that Publix would be our wedding cake vendor. They captured our design ideas perfectly and their suggestions were absolutely right. The cake was delivered on time and in excellent shape. I think the cake was the bestpart of the meal!

I was able to design my own wedding cake by combining a few of their own pre-designed cakes. It arrived on time, and looked so beautiful, and tasted amazing! Publix has the best tasting cakes, and awesome prices.

Our wedding was done on a budget and Publix did an amazing job of creating a beautiful and great tasting cake and still coming in under our price requirement! They were professional and friendly and I was so happy that we choose them! (San Jose location)

From the initial contact to the day after - the service was great. Very Prompt. They even did a tasting for me and helped me choose the right flavors. They will go outside the box for no additional cost (to an extent) and really delivered an amazingly unique cake for our wedding. Everything was as expected, and better! Recommend them to everyone!

My cake design was executed flawlessly. White background with purple dots, in two different shades, in three different sizes, randomly placed all over the cake. There were 3 square layers. A professional cake decorator was one of our guests, and she said that the buttercream frosting was laid on so smoothly that she thought it was fondant! The delivery was done on-time. I got many compliments on the taste of the cake as well.

I always do my grocery shopping at Publix but when I told my buddies about my engagement, they recommended we gout our wedding cake from Publix. It was the best cake I've ever tasted! I'd recommend Publix to everyone!

i did a 6" round cake with 175 cupcakes and designed my own cupcake tree to hold it...first of all, the free cake testing was a lot of fun and very yummy...secondly, the staff is amazing, especially judy! thirdly, they were very helpful in reminding me of when the balance was due and making sure i had given them a design for the top layer. the prices are AMAZING and no one will ever know at your reception that your cake came from a grocery store....this is a great way to save money on your big day............they had very personal service and set up the cupcake tree for me while i was at my ceremony.....it was perfect and i got so many compliments on the cupcakes :)

Our cakes were incredible! The ladies at Publix were so helpful, so nice, so professional... just FANTASTIC!!! I had an incredible cake with beautiful flowers and my husbands' grooms cake was great with the logo of our college on it. And the cake itself, SO GOOD!!! Publix is great and I will always go to them for any event I need help planning. They perfectly matched our wedding colors and made sure everything was perfect for our special day.

Publix Event Planning in Jacksonville provided the flowers for our daughter's wedding at the Lightner Museum on November 6, 2010. They did exactly what we requested and created very beautiful arrangements! We had checked prices and services with two other florists in the area and nothing compared to their professionalism. Flowers were fresh and delivered on time

We ordered our wedding cake from Publix (St. Augustine Beach) and it was DELICIOUS! No one knew it was from a grocery store. They worked with us to make it exactly what we wanted, we added our own ribbon and they added the cake topper when they delivered it to the reception. Ordering with them was probably the least stressful part of the wedding! We called a month before, went in a week before and didn't think about it till we ate it. We had 3 tier Chocolate and Vanilla combo throughout and the head table tier was filled with strawberries, all with buttercream icing. SO TASTY! I'm not a fan of buttery buttercream, theirs was perfect.

I used Publix (Blanding & 295) fancy Bakery cakes for my wedding instead of a standard wedding cake. It saved us a lot of money and we had several beautiful delicious cakes to display as well as their bite size brownies and desserts! They delivered promptly as scheduled and set up per my request. We purchased a 3 tier cake stand from Sam's Club and several glass cake stands from Hobby Lobby. Had a friend place our own cake topper and chose the prettiest cake to cut! It worked out perfectly. For a do-it-yourself money saving approach this exceeded my expectations! Plus it cost us half as much as a basic wedding cake!

We used the Publix on San Jose (10500 San Jose Blvd) for our cake. We went there because they do cake tastings. That was a lot of fun, they let you pick 3 different combinations, and custom bake you three little cakes!

The lady that works there was so nice! Very easy to talk to, helpful, responsive, etc. Our cake was exactly what we asked for, and it was definitely custom!

We ate our top layer that we saved for our 1 year anniversary, and it tasted almost as good as the wedding day! We made sure to save it correctly though, but still that was a good cake!

Publix did an amazing job constructing a custom cake for me! I met with Judy and brought some photos with me. I wasn't sure if they would be able to do anything like the ones I liked, but she said it wouldn't be a problem. The one in my picture had a lot of ribbon, but instead of doing ribbon, they did a line of icing all around. The end result had it more like small buttons or dabs of icing in lines instead of looking smooth, like ribbon, but it was still beautiful and almost perfect to the look of the picture. The most important part was the taste! Judy let me try 4 samples at the tasting and it was so hard to choose. She gave out some options to help me feel like I didn't have to choose down to one. We did our top and bottom tier one flavor combo and the middle one another combo. It tasted sooo delicious. Judy checked in with me 2 times prior to the wedding to clarify our order and confirm date and time. They delivered the cake on time and everything went smoothly! Great value for the price. You can't beat that! Some cake places charge 2-3 times the amount of publix and I don't seem to notice any different. Everyone should go with Publix on San Jose!

Going with Publix for both my flowers and my cake was the smartest thing I did. They made everything wonderful. They were easy to deal with. The flowers were amazing and smelled lovely. My cake was delish and everyone raved about it. Best of all I didn't have to break the bank to do it.

Publix was a good choice for us! We used the bakery on San Jose in Jacksonville. They were open to designing a cake that we brought in a picture for; however, the design was childish when completed, and we were a little disappointed. That was the only drawback. The process was so smooth, and they were on top of their game. They took initiative to call me for friendly reminders on keeping the timeline. The cake tasting was a fun process and they have many choices! Our guests raved about the quality of the cake!

My cake looked great and for a great price! Going through Publix Event Planning was the way to go and their cake tasted even better then some of the other, more expensive, cake vendors in town. The grooms cake was a hit and everyone went on about how great it all looked and tasted!

We used the Publix on San Jose Blvd for our cake and flowers. The cake turned out great!. The consultation for the cake was fast and painless. They helped us choose a cake size and flavor, since we really had no idea what we wanted. Cake was delivered on time and we had no issues!
The flowers looked great! The bouquets were beautiful! Much nicer than I expected. The only complaint would be that the flower people were not great about returning phone calls or emails. We had to nag them to get prices and choose arrangements.

The staff at this Publix Events department did a great job with both our flowers and cake. People raved about the cake actually tasting good instead of just being wedding cake. People talked more about it then the rest of the meal. We wanted to go very simple on the flowers, and that is exactly what we got- simple elegance. If you are on a budget, be honest with the staff, they will work with you.

The Publix cakes ended up being just about the same price as an actual bakery, but that is without any special flavors or filling. We went with them because of the convenience and we were planning a destination wedding so we needed a company we knew we could trust. However, we called twice to verify our order in the weeks leading up to the wedding and even though the cake had been paid in full, they always had trouble finding our information. The cake did arrive though, on time, and it was beautiful. The guests raved about how good it was so all in all we are happy.

I was so happy with my cake from Publix! It was beautiful and everyone said it was delicious. They aren't the more professional bunch but it is totally worth the money you save. No regrets!

The person helping us at our local Publix was quite rude and vague on answers. We were not incredibly impressed with the quality of the design, also our cake was burnt on the bottom of the middle layer and just coated with icing to conceal it.
