Great Music and excellent service

Really enjoyed working with him. Guests said the music selection was awesome and many said ours was one of the best weddings they have been to. Very nice to talk with.

PrymeTyme (Aaron) was a fantastic DJ!

Aaron was absolutely fantastic all around. Leading up to the wedding he helped us figure out how we wanted to organize things like timing of first dance, toasts, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance etc. He offered great suggestions, but was not pushy. Aaron was very responsive when we had questions. I suggested like 80+ songs and he took those suggestions in stride and really made a nice mix with them incorporating really interesting transitions that kept everyone dancing all night. He also put in other songs as he saw fit with what the crowd was feeling and it was perfect. Honestly right after we ate, we did the father/daughter dance and the mother/son dance and then phased that into everyone dancing and it just did not stop until the reception was over! It was just constant dancing and everyone was loving it!! It seemed like the crowd of people dancing never even got smaller. Also, Aaron was just so calm and flexible the day of the wedding it made it so easy. Thanks again Aaron for making our day extra special!!!

Excellent DJ!!!

I was pretty picky when it came to choosing a DJ. I wanted to make sure I was the center of attention at the wedding and didn't want a super vocal DJ. I knew our crowd would be on the dance floor and didn't feel we needed someone over energized putting on a show! That being said Aaron was just awesome! Our crowd surprised us by not dancing that much due to the heat but Aaron was still able to get people out there just by playing the right song at the right time! He helped us organize the flow of the day and was creative in accommodating last minute schedule changes due to catering delays. Aaron was professional and his Photo Booth was a hit, especially with the kids. We can't wait to hire him for our next event!!

Excellent and Adaptable! Virtual Party

With the pandemic I decided to pivot to a virtual dance party! Pryme Tyme Entertainment was so helpful and made this day so special! The guest thought it was a great idea and had a blast!

Aaron from PRYME TYME should be your only choice!

Aaron from PRYME TYME made my wedding day (during Covid of all times) so very special and truly perfect! A DJ that can work a crowd during social distancing is someone to truly be honored for his passionate work. The playlist was true to us as a couple (he took time to get to know us) and he made it so easy to work with him. If you haven't booked him already, I am not sure what you're waiting for!

So Amazing!!!

We found Pryme Tyme Entertainment through our venues preferred vendors list and was so pleased every step of the way that we picked this DJ. Aaron was so helpful through the whole planning process, I could just call him and he helped me with all of my questions and was very kind and very comfortable to talk to! The website was very easy to navigate, making it easy to plan our event. My wedding day was phenomenal thanks to him! He was great with announcing every event and keeping my wedding going and on schedule! My groom and I had a blast dancing the whole evening with all of our family and friends!! He worked wonderfully with our venue and photographer to make sure the whole day went perfectly. I couldnt have picked a better DJ for my wedding!!!

Outstanding!

Aaron was outstanding and kept the crowd dancing all night long at our wedding! People are still telling us how much fun they had weeks later. The process leading up to our big day could not have been easier - I would definitely recommend Pryme Tyme to anyone in search of a night to remember.

Best Wedding DJ Ever!

Aaron at Pryme Tyme was amazing to work with for our wedding. He was personable and easy to talk to. His website was organized and easy to navigate when picking songs and filling out the ceremony details list. Our wedding venue coordinator told us after the reception that he was “top notch” and recomend him to future brides and grooms. My husband and I really enjoyed how he jumped from song to song, never really playing a full song through. This kept people interested in the music and on the dance floor the entire time. He even let me take the mic unprompted during my husband’s favorite song and sing to our friends and family. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Aaron is great

Aaron is great! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Everything was fun. He kept everyone dancing all night long. He understood the type of music we wanted to be played and executed everything perfectly. He is an amazing DJ. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to have a great time.

Best DJ in CT!

I highly recommend Pryme Tyme Entertainment! Aaron was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding. He helped us pick all the important songs for the ceremony and reception. Our guests were on the dance floor all night! We received so many compliments on the music and the photo booth was a hit! Aaron really helped my husband and I put all the details together to make sure our guests had the best experience :)

Best wedding dj in ct!

I can't say enough good things about Aaron and the entire Pryme Tyme Entertainment crew. In the months leading up to our wedding Aaron was incredibly responsive to all my messages, no matter the day or time I sent them, had a positive attitude about everything, and was so so so helpful with any/all questions my fiancee and I had. When it came to our big day, Aaron kept everyone - and I mean everyone - on the dancefloor ALL night. People kept coming up to me saying how great the music was and how much fun they had, due in large part to Aaron and his team working the photobooth. If you can, I HIGHLY recommend adding the photo booth to your wedding. Our guests made multiple trips to the photo booth all night and loved all the props!

Everything was just perfect for the wedding. Aaron played all the songs we wanted and everyone had a great time. The extra lighting service put it over there top and added so much to the space.

Amazing!!!!!!

Aaron with Pryme Tyme entertainment was amazing!!!! He was so easy to work with from beginning to end and we are so happy that he was our wedding DJ. He genuinely cared for us even though he had just met us and he played all the exact music that we wanted for the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour. Our guests seemed to have a blast and it had a lot to do with Aaron! We highly recommended him :)

All of my emails leading up to the big day were answered within hours, which was such a relief for a stressed-out bride! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Aaron as our DJ for our wedding at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in July 2017. As we began our wedding planning process, it seemed only logical to meet with Aaron, as he had recently worked at my sister’s wedding in July 2016. From our very first meeting, we were consistently impressed by Aaron’s professionalism, knowledge of music, and attention to detail. During the planning process, he provided an online form for us to fill out with the timeline for our reception and other music information such as “do not play” songs and top requests. The form was easy to access and to complete whenever we had spare time to talk about the music. In addition to the online form, Aaron made himself readily available to answer any and all wedding questions—responding to emails quickly with helpful information. His wedding expertise expands far beyond music—for example, when it came to making decisions about lighting for the venue, he was able to provide his input based on the unique needs of the space and approximate cost estimates. Most importantly, he always provided his advice and information with a positive attitude.

His services on our wedding day were out of this world! He went above and beyond our expectations. He called both my husband and I on our wedding morning to check in and see how preparations were going before we both headed to the venue. Then once we arrived at the venue, he paid a visit to each of us in our separate suites as we were getting ready—once again, to check on our preparations and to see if there was anything that he could do to help. The reception ran smoothly from beginning to end due to his organization. In addition, the dance floor was packed for the entire night! We could not be happier with the services we received from Aaron of Prymetyme Entertainment and are genuinely looking forward to seeing him at future weddings happening in our family during 2018. Where do I begin?! We found Aaron through our photographer Bill Fritz and are so beyond thankful we did! He was amazing and we knew he was a perfect fit for us the moment we met him. He was extremely helpful not only the day of the wedding, but in all the months before in preparation. His website provided us with an online planner to help create the perfect wedding day and a huge library of music in categories to help us with all our special song choices! We had our ceremony at a church and then Aaron did the music for our cocktail hour and reception at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven where he even set up speakers outside the building so guests playing lawn games in the sand could dance while they played! We also had one of their photobooth's at the wedding everyone loved it, it was so much fun!! There is not one thing we would have done differently. Aaron was enthusiastic, personable, attentive and very responsive to all of our guests and had everyone up dancing all night. If you’re looking for the best wedding DJ ever look no further and book Aaron at Pryme Tyme Entertainment! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

Giving pryme Tyme entertainment 5 stars on everything. Aaron was great from the first time we met until the time I shook his hand when the wedding was sadly over. No one wanted it to end. He had people on the dance floor from beginning to end. And couldn't have been more flexible even with the last minute stuff as my now sister in-laws wrote and sang us a song and he was able to fit it in without skipping a beat! Even the next morning at brunch everybody kept coming up to me and say where did you get your DJ he did an incredible job. Aaron thank you for making the biggest day of our lives the best day of our lives. The Music makes or breaks a wedding and he absolutely nailed it!!!

If you are looking for the perfect DJ, we highly recommend Aaron! He has the best sense of humor and really got to know us ahead of time to make our day special. Aaron recently was the DJ at our wedding. He helped make the night extremely memorable. We knew he was a perfect fit for us the moment we met him. We had Aaron DJ our wedding, I can honestly say that we had the most crowded dance floor I've ever seen at a wedding. All of our guests said the same thing too. He was wonderful and did a great job with mixing up all the songs. We had a ton of variety and he was able make songs flow. He worked with us through the process of the wedding and even called to check up on us (not having to do with music).

I highly recommend Aaron for any event. He is very dedicated to his job and you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I learned about Pryme Tyme Entertainment through our wedding venues preferred vendors list. We were not disappointed and were so happy we went with the recommendation. Aaron DeMarest met and exceeded our expectations from the first time we met to the day of our wedding. His services became of more than that of just a DJ. He guided us with his extensive experience on the layout of our wedding flow with the music and the activities such as walk in music, dedication songs, first dance, entrance songs, the list goes on. He made it a point to meet with us prior to our wedding date and was very accommodating to us. We live 2 hours away from our venue and vendors and Aaron was very helpful by guiding us through our online meeting forum. The day of our event Aaron was intricate to making us feel at ease. As the bride I was very anxious and had a lot to do with getting dressed to setting up tables and making sure everything was in order. It definitely spiraled quickly. Aaron was very supportive and went above the call of duty by checking in on me and ensuring I kept my cool, he even made sure I had a nice pre-wedding drink to calm my nerves and gave my husband his coat to keep warm while we took pictures outdoors on a snowy day.  My husband and I loved working with Aaron and could not imagine our day being as successful with anyone else. Pryme Tyme Entertainment is the best choice if you want above and beyond service for a very reasonable rate.

We had both the DJ services from Aaron from Pryme Tyme, as well as the photobooth services. Leading up to the ceremony, Aaron was very easy to work with, setting up just a few skype meetings and very responsive to emails/providing suggestions. Then when it got to the Aaron was absolutely awesome throughout the entire night. He made sure everyone in the bridal party was confident and comfortable the entire night, as well as gave the best man and maid of honor little pep talks before their toasts, and kept people dancing throughout the party. I felt like there was never a dull moment or a poorly picked song, and it showed by how many people were always on the dance floor. Really the only thing I heard from guests that could be considered a "complaint" was that they had a hard time choosing between the food and all the fun dancing. He really kept the party going, and worked together seamlessly with our event coordinator. There was a slight misunderstanding with the photobooth printouts prior to the party, but he and his team corrected quickly and none of the guests ever even noticed. It was a great blend of professionalism and entertainment, and it really made for an amazing night.

On the photobooth specifically, we were EXTREMELY pleased with the decision to include this. I can't count how many compliments we got on it and how many people said they wished they had it at their wedding. It also provided some instant photos of all our friends and family for us to enjoy right away, while we wait for our professional photos. It was a good compliment to the dancing for entertainment, as I found the few people who weren't big dancers made multiple trips to the photobooth throughout the night. It also was a great alternative to a traditional guestbook, as we got to see all our guests and it provided them with something to remember the night with in return.

Aaron is an amazing DJ and person. He went above and beyond to ensure that our big day was extra special. Aaron's attention to detail and care about the couple he is working with is very evident. And his DJ skills are awesome! I was approached many times throughout the night by our guests who just raved about the music choices and the way Aaron got everyone up dancing and having fun! We had SO MUCH fun on the dance floor. Aaron also did the music and sound for our ceremony and it was beautiful and flawless. If you are looking for a DJ with great entertainment skills Aaron is you man. But he is also even more than that, he was so kind and accommodating and really took care of us. We will always be grateful to him for helping make our wedding unforgettable.

I am a wedding photographer and first met Aaron a year ago at a wedding we worked together. I see DJs every weekend but Aaron made a serious impression on me. So much so that I hired him for my own wedding this past October. He is one of the kindest guys I have ever met, down to earth personality, and one heck of a DJ! If you are looking to get your guests on the dance floor and KEEP them there, then give Pryme Tyme Entertainment a call! You won't regret it! I'm sure glad I did.

My husband (being a wedding photographer himself) and I, saw Aaron work a backyard wedding one summer night for a couple who's family traveled from Australia and had arrived the day of the wedding. Talk about jet lag! Yet, he was able to keep these people dancing all night long, never missed a beat and rolled with any changes that came his way. He was upbeat and entertaining and kept a good flow of the wedding the entire day. We knew we had found our DJ that night. Finally our day had come and Aaron went above and beyond our expectations! The lighting and dry ice he arranged for our Halloween Themed Wedding was PERFECT! Photos from our first dance are some of my favorite because of the use of the dry ice and lighting. it really captured the mood we wanted for our party. The song choices kept our friends and family (who don't usually dance much) dancing all night! Even when we were stolen away for photos, the party kept going. Thanks to Aaron, our guests just can't tell us enough about all the fun they had and that is SO special and important to us, the memories are priceless. Aaron is more than just a DJ to us, he has become a close friend. He really cares about the couples he works with, and loves what he does and it shows. I booked with Pryme Tyme Entertainment because the Djs were so enthusiastic about their job and having the perfect entertainment for your event. Their main goal is to get people dancing at your wedding. I recently went to a wedding that the Dj hid the majority of the time in the room his booth was in. Hardly anyone was dancing, he also played outdated music. Safe to say, Pryme Tyme is the way to go.

Aaron was an excellent DJ at our wedding! He was extremely professional and thoughtful. He got to know us as a couple and played songs that we were all interested in hearing. Aaron was extremely flexible and was always quick to answer all of my last minute questions. Aaron greatly helped with the flow of the wedding and helped us all stay on schedule beginning before the ceremony started all the way until the last dance. When it came to choosing a DJ for our wedding, Aaron was our number one choice! The day went of without a hitch and a large part of that was all due to Aaron. He was incredibly organized, made sure the reception ran smoothly, and had everyone out on the dance floor all night long. I would highly recommend Pryme Tyme Entertainment. Aaron was so great from the beginning of the planning of the party to the very end of the evening of the event.
He suggested a photo booth and it was the biggest hit ever!
Aaron took charge of the dinner in the room by calling up tables to get their food at the buffet which is something I did not even think of having to worry about.
He was VERY attentive to my needs during the evening, checking on me several times throughout the party to see if there was anything he could do for us.
I will without question call Aaron again for my function!!

Aaron was incredibly easy to work with, responsive to our needs, and gave us a day that we still remember as the best day ever. Can't say enough about Pryme Tyme Entertainment! They made our wedding the party we wanted!!!! All our guests said it was one of the best weddings they've been to, what amazing music was playing, AND the photo booth took the cake!!!!! Aaron did an amazing job for our wedding reception!! He was accommodating to our every request, very professional, and just the nicest guy you can meet! Not only was he able to keep every one in the room dancing till the very last second, but was able to transition through our very eclectic (country to rock to rap) selection without missing a beat! Aaron is an amazing DJ and party host. Not only did he cater to our needs but he made sure our guests were happy at all times, accommodating them in any way that he could. During planning period, Aaron was always available to answer our questions and provide any recommendation that he thought would make our reception better. During the reception Aaron had a lot of energy and always had the crowd on their feet dancing. Many of our guests came up to my wife and I and exclaimed how wonderful he was. Also being a lesbian couple, Aaron made us feel comfortable and treated us with respect and love! We highly recommend him for any party!

Aaron was a pleasure to work with. He DJ'd a friend of mine's wedding so I knew he would be good. What I like most about him is that he wants the wedding music to be what YOU want, and that's what he actually plays. I was so happy to find someone that didn't give me a high nose when I requested Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys songs. We had multiple skype sessions where he asked questions about what type of music we wanted, and he had a well-organized excel sheet where you put what song you want for each part of the wedding (ie first dance, wedding party intro, etc) as well as songs you would like played and must NOT songs. He also goes around the crowd and asks for music requests (and also plays them). We had a young crowd at our wedding, and the dance floor was packed all night. He's courteous, organized, and very friendly. Highly recommend him!

Pryme Tyme has done dances and proms for our high school for several years.
Always professional, fun, and easy to work with. Seems to know what kind of music students like
and will do mix-ups if he needs to change the scene on the dance floor.

Aaron was awesome! We had a magical night and it is largely thanks to his amazing lighting, awesome song selection, flexibility, great mixing, etc. He was able to do the sound for the ceremony, provide mics for speeches, light up the room for dancing, and interacted with all the guest to get the right mix for a various diverse.

We used wedding wire to help with picking most of our vendors. When I started researching DJ's, it was clear by all of his reviews that Aaron with PRyme Tyme Entertainment would probably be a good choice. My husband and I had a very non-traditional wedding and didn't do a sit down dinner. One of our biggest concerns was that it would be a hard transition from first dance (slow) straight into dancing and partying all night long. From our first discussion with Aaron, he assured us that he would take care of that and our job was to just enjoy. Of course, being the panicking bride that I was, I was constantly emailing Aaron for updates, changes and questions. Without any hesitation, he answered and helped with everything!! And the best part, thanks to him, our wedding was SPECTACULAR! People never left the dance floor and were constantly telling me it was the best time they've ever had at a wedding and couldn't believe the amount of time everyone spent on the dance floor. Not only that but Aaron was constantly checking on my husband and I all night long just to make sure we were having a great time and if there was anything we needed. Needless to say, if you're looking to have the best DJ you could imagine, Pryme Tyme entertainment is the way to go!!!

Aaron was great! From scheduling late appointments to our HUGE song list, he made it work! We had the greatest night of our lives and PTE definately contributed to that! PTE made everything so easy and quick, it was refreshing in comparison to the other vendors we worked with. Aaron was super professional, organized, on time and enthusiastic. We felt like PTE's #1 priority! Also, we went for the lighting and photo booth.....it was epic! Our guests ALL said the same thing, IT WAS THE FUNNEST WEDDING THEY HAD EVER ATTENED!

Aaron was great and super helpful. He played a great mix of music and was really attentive to how everyone was responding to the atmosphere. He hooked is up with an awesome acoistic solo gutarist for the ceremony too. Our DJ Aaron has a really nice speaking voice which was nice too. A number of guests at our wedding remarked on how much they liked the DJ. I would definitely recommend using Aaron from Pryme Tyme :-)

Aaron was truly a life saver. We started planning our 100-person wedding with just 2 months to spare. Aaron was very informative from the start. His rates were VERY reasonable (this guy should be charging way more). He DJ'd our backyard wedding and kept the crowd going until late into the night. The transitions were great, he was fun to work with, and he setup and took down very quietly. This guy is a class act. Highly recommended!!!!!

I hired Aaron on short notice for my son and daughter-in-law's picnic reception. From the very first contact he was helpful and professional. This was not a typical wedding reception and Aaron was very flexible and willing to do whatever we needed, even volunteering to help with other duties. The music choices were varied, he accomodated some of our strange requests and was a pleasure to work with. I would definately hire him again as well as recommend him to my friends.

Aaron did a great job DJing our wedding at a very fair price point. For our wedding, he kept a low profile, as I had requested, though he seemed super competent with MC duties too if we had requested that. Pryme Tyme uses a professional online interface to organize payments, song requests, and event details, so it was really easy to plan the music. They even located a few unusual song requests for us, and edited out the swearing to make them family friendly for the wedding. Aaron arrived early to the venue and had all the equipment set up and ready before we arrived. He was a consummate professional and completely in sync with the flow of the wedding, willing and able to respond to the few changed requests we made during the wedding. Very competent and capable DJ. My one negative point is that I did not always receive a quick reply to emails I sent further in advance of the wedding. Certainly this was just because Aaron was busy with other events and ours was still far out, and he actually responded to all of my concerns with plenty of time to go, but it would have been nice to receive a quick reply so I knew things were good to go. Altogether though, we had a very good experience with Pryme Tyme entertainment.

Aaron did such a great job at my wedding! I had let him know that we were looking for a combination of rock, old hip hop, country, alternative, and modern music for our event. Aaron was professional, attentive, and on point from the moment we spoke on the phone. We had NO worries the day of our wedding. He took care of everything. Our guest still can't stop talking about how fun that day was. I wish that we could do it all over again. I all noticed that the banquet coordinator had a different way of running things, but Aaron handle it with class and everything went smoothly. Thank you Aaron! No more dj phobia for me. :)

He was very professional and during the wedding making sure that everyone involved in the wedding knew where they were going and our guests extremely comfortable. Aaron was a fantastic DJ.

My husband and I were very direct about only wanting music (no up-ligting, etc) and Aaron did not push us into anything even though that was our experience with other DJ's.

There was no time in the night that the dance floor wasn't filled - he played many songs that we had requested and filled in with songs that really fit our taste.

We had a special dance for our wedding party and for ourselves that he helped to organize and it was a big hit!

What most impressed us about Aaron was that he came to our head table and checked in on us more often than our maitre'd. He asked us if there was anything that we need - and if we were feeling comfortable, etc. He must have checked in on us 2 or 3 times! He had been very attentive leading up to the wedding as well - checking in during the last two weeks to make sure we were all set.

We thought that we got GREAT value for our money. Why didn't we give him a 5 out of 5? Some guests said that they didn't always hear his announcements for the cake cutting or events like that...but we felt that was more of a "attention fault" on our guests than on the DJ.

We would hire him again and again for our family event!

Aaron was the dj for our 2012 wedding. I'll start with the good things.

Aaron was very nice, helped with suggestions, met with us when/how we wanted (even Skype, which, since we live 200 miles away was great!) The planning part was wonderful.

He also got everyone on that dance floor. I have tons of pictures of everyone having a great time dancing at my wedding, and that is awesome.

However, a couple things weren't perfect. He didn't use the songs we requested for our entrance or the Mother-Son dance, mispronounced a couple names, and ended our cocktail hour a half hour earlier than we intended by telling everyone to sit down. Ending it that early also meant that a couple songs we specifically requested to be played just did not happen.

The services were very reasonable and he was a very nice person who did entertain my guests, but I do wish a couple of things had gone a little differently.

If you want to have an amazing wedding, or even a decent wedding, DO NOT book this vendor!!!!!!! I can not stress how UPSET, ANGRY, and DISAPPOINTED we were after our wedding in May. I emailed Aaron and asked for a refund and he played tit for tat with me about how unprepared we were leading up to our wedding (NOT TRUE) and then said HE was seeking legal counsel! My wedding was ruined and one of the BIGGEST, most powerful moments of my entire LIFE with my father was ruined because of Aaron's poor professional judgement and lack of communication.
