Fantastic DJ Service

Pro Sound DJ was an awesome choice for my daughter’s wedding ! John was great to work with to explain the pricing and the contract. Prices were very reasonable! Alex was our actual DJ and was AWESOME! He communicated well with my daughter before the wedding to make sure she got the music she wanted! His execution was flawless, professional and Fun! He provided the exact atmosphere we wanted and needed for all our guests to have a great time. He kept the party going and had people dancing and having fun all night! I Highly recommend this vendor!!

Made our wedding reception!

Our DJ, Kedrick, was so cool and awesome from beginning to end and fit the vibe so well for our wedding reception. He played all our requests and went with the flow the entire night as we made some last minute decisions which isn’t easy to do! Our guests thought he was so fun and he kept the party going! The planning process was smooth sailing and John answered all of our questions, helped us so much with the process, and was very flexible with any changes we needed to make. I also liked that they had a variety of options and packages to choose from to suit our budget. Your DJ can either make or break your wedding reception, Kedrick with ProSound DJs definitely nailed it. Highly recommend!

Pro Sound DJ was amazing for my wedding!! John is your contact before hand and he was so helpful in answering all my questions. Our DJ for the day was Julius and he was AMAZING! We had a pre call before the event where we went over everything and he did such a great job the day of. He was there during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception and played everything that I wanted and more! He was so great and truly made our day so special I could not recommend Julius and Pro Sound DJ enough!! The packages are also so reasonable for the St. Louis area, well worth the money!! 10/10

Highly recommend Pro Sound DJ

DJ Julius and John were the absolute best to work with! From the very start when we inquired, John quickly gained our trust with his professionalism and promptness in communication. The website was very user friendly during the planning process. We were assigned DJ Julius who killed it. He nailed all his cues, kept the dance floor alive, and has received SO MANY compliments from our guests. We will happily recommend Pro Sound DJ to anyone. Not to mention for the price you pay, they’re an absolute steal.

Perfect DJ for Weddings!

Last month we used Pro Sound DJ for our wedding and we were so happy with how everything went! John and DJ Julius were incredibly great to work with, and extremely professional and kind. DJ Julius did a fantastic job of making everyone feel comfortable and keeping to the day's timeline. We could not have been happier with how everything went and would highly recommend Pro Sound DJ!

Excellent DJ

We used ProSound DJ for my daughter’s wedding. The DJs name was Pat, and he really kept the crowd involved. The company was great to work with, and played all the music that my daughter had requested. I highly recommend them. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

What a great experience!

We used ProSound DJ for my son‘s wedding. The DJs name was Pat, and he really kept the crowd dancing. The company was great to work with, and played all the music that my son and daughter-in-law had requested. If you want to have a great wedding reception experience, I highly recommend them.

Would HIGHLY recommend! Awesome DJ, kept the party going!

I worked with John Franz and DJ Deryk for my wedding in November of 2023 and they were INCREDIBLE! Not only were they super organized and responsive but Deryk followed my very specific request list perfectly and kept things on time. He was also super helpful to the event staff and they made sure to sing their praises of him to me. I can't recommend Pro Sound DJ enough!

Amazing Experience, Highly Recommend

DJ Jimmy was by far our favorite vendor at our wedding. He was so kind and professional, and made all of our music wishes for our ceremony & reception come true. Meeting him a week before the wedding, he calmed all our nerves. He was a wonderful EMCEE & played all the music we wanted + some of the most amazing remixes I’ve ever heard. Everyone kept raving about him for days after the wedding. Several of my friends who are recently engaged will definitely be reaching out for his services for their own wedding!! We trusted the reviews on the knot before booking with Pro Sound & we could not have been more pleased!!

ProSoundDJ is fantastic!

Great Experience

I enjoyed working with Pro Sound. Their communication was good and the price was right.
DJ Julius did a perfect job throughout the ceremony and reception. He nailed his cues and took an appropriate amount of song requests from the guests. He also helped by editing down some of the first dance songs so that they didn't drag.
Our photo booth operator, Alex, also did a phenomenal job. People loved him and enjoyed taking prints home throughout the night. He dealt with a small amount of drunk shenanigans (too many people in frame lol), but nailed it. We got a USB at the end of the night with all the photos and they are great.

You won’t regret

Let’s just say from the start Pro Sounds was amazing. I reached out to see if they were available for our wedding and the owner John reached back out very promptly stating they were available and set up a time to talk about the wedding details and then once it got closer to date John reached out to me again and gave me my Djs name and we had Jimmy and told me he would reach out to me on Monday before my wedding and he did and we discussed the timeline. Then day of wedding Jimmy was absolutely amazing. When I told him about our special guest appearance he went right with the flow and got the songs on a whim.

Jimmy was lights out!

Okay. Let me just say that John and Jimmy made our special day PERFECT. From start to finish, communication was clear and response time was quick. It was really awesome how Jimmy got on the phone with us and took our feedback on our ideal night and the schedule. As you know some things don’t go as planned. I myself made a mistake in the order of the wedding party entering in the venue and on the fly, Jimmy took the change and ran with it! No pushback, just did it. Throughout the night, the songs were bumping with such a great variety mixed in that the dance floor was always full of people from start to finish! This is also considering that we had an outdoor fire pit where some people went but the dance floor NEVER died! It was a night to remember. Jimmy is the class of the DJ world in my opinion with all the weddings I’ve been to. I will recommend him to anybody I know. Thanks guys!

Couldn’t be HAPPIER

We were very pleased with Pro Sound DJ, and our specific DJ Deryk! Highly recommend! John answer any and all questions I had , which there were A LOT leading up to the big day. Deryk touch base with me as scheduled to review the song list/choices and the kind of vibe we were wanting for the night. There was a good mix of ages at our wedding reception so it seemed like an impossible task to entertain everyone that was attending. From 2yrs to 95yrs old, all guest were happy! We received soooooo many compliments on the music we had playing throughout the night. Deryk was able to keep it appropriate for all ages. And I danced my little heart out the majority of the night with the guest. There was not a single song that made me, the bride, unhappy. It was a great mix of dance, upbeat, slow, modern, and classic oldies. I am extremely grateful for Pro Sound DJ and Deryk for contributing to our perfect night!

Pro Sound DJ was Amazing!

We chose Pro Sound DJ for our wedding dinner reception and they were great! John was awesome with his prompt responses to all my initial inquires. He was very helpful and pleasant to work with. The pricing was just right, the best deals I’ve seen based on my research. We had DJ Julius as our DJ and he was just amazing. He showed up on time, setup according, and played the music we had chosen. There were no hiccups, things went as planned and we couldn’t have chosen a better company. I highly recommend Pro Sound DJ.

Utmost professionalism and kindness

John has been so helpful and kind to my husband and I as we had originally planned a wedding that was scheduled during the first wave of Covid. We moved dates multiples times and John was always attentive to respond to confirm the new date. Ultimately we had to cancel the entire wedding and John was nice enough to give us our money back! Fantastic service all the way around

We had initially hired Pro Sound DJ for their affordability, but their excellent pricing doesn't sacrifice customer care.

Despite our wedding reception being delayed over a year due to Covid, John and Pro Sound DJ stuck with us, communicating promptly and kindly every time we had a question or needed to change the date. Their web forms made it easy to tell them our schedule and exactly what we wanted. We were updated via a personal email when the forms were received. We also received a call from our DJ Julius beforehand to get to know us and double check our details.

Finally, 2 years after our initial communication, we had our reception. DJ Julius pumped up our guests to celebrate as though no time had passed between ceremony & reception. We felt newly married all over again :) The setup was great with some lights to decorate the dance floor and an excellent sound system. He did a masterful job keeping the tunes going, playing songs we had requested in our form, working in the family polkas ;-) and requests from our guests. Everyone commented afterward what an amazing and fun party it was, and DJ Julius and Pro Sound DJ was a major factor. I highly recommend them!!!

Julius was so much fun and executed our ceremony music and MC-ing flawlessly. He was engaging and was able to read the energy of the room and make our party so much fun. Fantastic Work

We picked them based on reviews and pricing. It was a home run. Our DJ Alex did a great job communicating with us in the lead up to the event. We had to postpone due to COVID and they worked through that with us flawlessly. When it was time for our big day finally, Alex did a great job picking songs, keeping the guests entertained, and did a good job with the introductions. USE THEM!

Wonderful wedding experience

Easy, Stress Free Speaker Rental

Pro Sound DJ was so easy to work with for speaker rentals at my wedding. The delivery, set up, and pick up was easy and stress free. Their technician showed our coordinator how to use the sound system and everything worked out just fine. The dance floor was full all night with a playlist made by us. I would highly recommend their services to anyone interested in doing speaker rental instead of a DJ.

Pro Sound was a dream to work with for my wedding! John answered all of my questions in a timely manner and the website forms were easy to use. We really got lucky with MT as our DJ. She monitored the room well, took any request, and was very flexible! She knew exactly what she was doing and she did it so well. Recommend for your wedding!!

They were awesome and always just an email away if I had any questions or concerns. They always got back to me super fast and when I had to change my wedding date unexpectedly (husband is in the military) they had no problem changing the contract and didn’t charge me any extra. Not to mention, Audra the Dj herself, did an amazing job the night of my wedding she was respectful and friendly. I definitely recommend!

Jimmy was the absolute BEST!

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Jimmy and Pro Sound DJ & Rental. I spoke with John via email a lot before the big day (much easier for me, I hate the phone) and he was always prompt on answering my questions and payment was easy. This company was affordable and the level of service for the price was amazing! The online song request form was so easy to use and I had a ton of fun picking out my must play and don't play lists. I even requested a few songs they didn't have in their "inventory" and they made it happen for me! I paid more for Jimmy to do the ceremony music for my wedding as well as the reception and he did an amazing job! I asked for my bridal entrance song to play at a certain point in the song and he timed it perfectly, I was soooooo happy! I was able to submit a timeline for my rehearsal before the big day and Jimmy kept everything perfectly on time for me! He checked in with me and my husband throughout the day and made sure we were always happy. It was such a huge stress relief to have someone making sure things stayed on schedule and making sure I had all the big things I wanted taken care of. We even had extra time and everyone arrived at our reception hall sooner than planned and Jimmy moved the whole schedule up seamlessly and made sure everything was still covered. Jimmy coordinated with all my other vendors (officiant, photographer, reception staff, etc) and they all blew me out of the water with how well things went on our wedding day! Literally everything went exactly how it should have and I couldn't be happier! The music, quality, professionalism and affordability were all amazing! I would use this company and Jimmy again in a heartbeat!

So glad we went with Pro Sound DJ for our wedding reception! Wonderful DJ service! Price was great and they have all the forms online to make planning the night a breeze. Our DJ Alex played every song we requested, and was flexible when we wanted to make tweaks throughout the night to the song list or timing of things. Would highly recommend!

You should feel extremely comfortable in your decision to use Pro Sound DJ for your wedding / event. We had Jimmy as our DJ for our wedding. He was professional, courteous, and a lot of fun. He came early so that he could sync up timelines with other vendors. He made my wife and I feel 100% comfortable that we could enjoy the evening without another thought. They are top of line service and experience and truly a bargain for the price. Don't look further, I promise you will not regret choosing Pro Sound DJ and ask for Jimmy!

I was initially drawn to Pro Sound because of the affordability of the wedding reception packages. We had an indoor/outdoor wedding on May 26th, and working with John and our DJ Terence was a breeze! John communicated promptly and regularly via email about all of the questions I had and he adjusted the time/details on our package several times. We wanted to have music for the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and also for the indoor reception, and John and Terence worked out a way to make this happen for us. When we were planning out the music for the day, we used Pro Sound’s online software to build a playlist, and we were impressed by the song selection and the ease of use with the website. We were also impressed working with DJ Terence leading up to and on the day. He called us in the week before our wedding to go over the entire day and was asking us questions we hadn’t even thought of! It definitely took some stress out of that part of the day because we trusted Terence to make sure things went smoothly. Terence arrived early to make sure the set up would work and provided music for the cocktail hour and dinner hour - we got compliments from the guests on his selections. During the reception, Terence played from our selected music and read the dance floor to keep people dancing the entire night. Overall, communicating with Pro Sound was easy and both John and Terence really worked to make sure that part of our day was amazing.

Alex did a fantastic job for us! He arrived on time, was both fun and professional in announcing the different parts of the reception, and he worked with our music suggestions to make a playlist that really got people dancing. That's one big thing I'd think most couples want -- to see their guests dancing and having fun. Alex helped us make that happen, and for that we're grateful.

We were set up with Audra as our DJ, after discussing all of the details with John and we were "matched" with her. It was a PERFECT match!! We had a very unique ceremony that required her assistance with music, and she absolutely nailed it. However, the best part was how well she read and interacted with our guests. We gave her maybe 5 songs we wanted to hear and otherwise we asked her to just keep the party going all night. She absolutely did!! The dance floor was hopping, and I received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on the music. She read the crowd perfectly, made the perfect selections, and kept the party going all night. I couldn't possibly have been more pleased with her work!! In addition to the perfect party, the prices here are extremely competitive, and you can easily customize packages and add-ons to get exactly what you want!! THANK YOU JOHN AND AUDRA!!!!!!

DJ Audra was exactly what our Vow Renewal and reception needed. I found this company after a previously booked DJ (and friend) had a medical emergency. With the event less than 10 days away, we were able to iron out details and get this booked in less than 24 hours. Within the next 24 hours we had been contacted by Audra, and had all the details ironed out.

Since the reception, everyone I have interacted with that was at the event has told us how our Vow Renewal was one of the best they'd ever been to, and all have commented on how the music was a perfect fit for us, the event, and the crowd. We aren't the "chicken dance and hokey pokey" kind of couple, and after chatting with Audra, she knew exactly what vibe we were looking for, and she mixed our requests in with her selections seamlessly.

I will definitely recommend them, and Audra, to anyone who is looking for a memorable event!

I booked Pro Sound for my daughter's wedding reception & was so glad that I did! The owner, John was wonderful to work with. He almost always answered the phone & if I called after hours with questions, he always returned my call as soon as the business reopened. He answered all of my questions & even some that I didn't know I should have been asking. The online forms made everything a whole lot easier. These forms, again, helped with things that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. Our DJ, Terence, called my daughter, at her convenience (she works crazy retail hours) a week before the wedding & they went over everything together. Terence was AMAZING! Some DJ's talk way too much, in my opinion, but Terence was just right & played all the music we wanted. We got a lot of really nice compliments from people about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Getting down to the cost now... Pro Sound is an amazingly great value & they deliver a great service for the money. We would highly recommend Pro Sound DJ & Rental & Terence to anyone!

Couldn't be happier with their service from the day I found them to the end of our reception. John and the online forms made planning a breeze - it even helped alleviate the stress of forgetting something important because they have it all listed and you just choose what you're doing and what song you would like them to play! They have a huge selection of music to choose from and even have "most requested" lists you can look over for the different parts of your event. Alex was our DJ and did a FANTASTIC job! When he called me prior to the reception I could tell he cared about what we were expecting and wanted to make sure to have an understanding of the atmosphere we were wanting to create to enable him to do a good job. When I first met him at the reception, I was impressed by how well he was dressed and love how he coordinated with the event staff and photographer throughout the night to ensure everything went smoothly. There was never a dull or boring moment, and I feel like we owe that all to Alex!
Highly recommend their services for ANY event, but especially a wedding because there are some really expensive DJ's out there, just taking advantage of people fear of not having a fun atmosphere for their guests, but Pro Sound was affordable and yet professional in every way!

Highly recommend. They were very responsive from the beginning. They even helped my find a slower version of my husband and I song and it turned out amazing. If they don't have some of the songs you want just put the name and they'll try to get it and if not if you have the MP3 then they can make it work. Our DJ was awesome she always came to me if she had a question or to see if we wanted to change anything. I couldn't have chose a better dj for our big day. Oh and let's not forget the amazing prices compared to some others I found.

I was anxious about what dj we would use for our wedding reception. I searched all over for good reviews and good prices and thats how I found Pro Sound DJ. I am so pleased with how they did! I emailed them so many times with tons of questions. They always answered them all and helped make sure I hadn't missed everything. Then we got to talk to our dj, Audra, a couple weeks before the wedding and she put all our fears to rest. She was sp excellent and really made our reception everything we hoped for and more! My brother in law and his fiance decided that night that they want to use her at their upcoming wedding! The compliments I received about my reception was for the food and our dj!! Everyone loved Audra. She's so personable and did everything we asked. It was pouring rain when we got to the venue and she ran outside to sit in our car with us to discuss everything real quick. Audra is amazing and I would highly recommend to everyone!! Thank you Audra and Pro Sound!!

ProSound is affordable AND amazing! Music was very important to us for our wedding and they delivered. John was immediately very helpful explaining all the planning tools that were available to us, which made things very easy. Our actual DJ, Jon, was great too! We chatted a few days before the wedding to go over the schedule of events as well as any other details that needed to be hashed out. Everything went perfectly. Jon was very nice, punctual, played everything we wanted at the times we needed it, and was available to us if we needed him. He also respected our wishes--if anyone tried to request a song, he made sure he had my permission (bride), which is what we asked of him. Everything went so smoothly and I would definitely recommend DJ Jon!!! He did such a wonderful job!

I am SO glad I booked ProSound for my wedding. This was something I was particularly nervous about, since a DJ can make or break your reception atmosphere. We had Audra, who is so fun and spunky, yet responsible and loving. She gave my husband and I a huge hug at the end and thanked us for allowing her to play! No, Audra, thank YOU! On top of this, the process of setting up this vendor was painless - everything could be communicated through email. And they have a great web portal to adjust your event timeline and make song requests. Overall, this was a wonderful experience! And such a great price, too! I'd recommend to ALL St. Louis brides!

Would recommend them to everyone. Supposed to have an out door backyard wedding but a bad storm came through, our DJ, John, was flexible upon arrival and set up inside our garage when plans changed. He had people dancing all night, and the lighting was awesome. With the stress of rain on our wedding day, the DJ helped keep the party going.

For my past wedding in February we used Pro Weddings for their led uplighting, and dj/ dance floor lights.

So going into this I knew zer0 about anything lights and didn't know where to begin (my brother was our DJ so DJ services obviously weren't needed! ). After an email inquiry with various vendors I set up for a phone meeting with Pro to discuss prices and options in better detail.

After a long conversation with John it was a no brainer that I would be using Pro Weddings for their lighting. He not only helped me get the best deal for the most savings, but he also explained what color options were most popular and why. ( I actually changed my wedding colors so I could use blue uplighting instead of red and it turned out fabulous!).

Anyway, they are extremely affordable, and have excellent service. There isnt really a good reason on why you shouldnt use them... :)

I was hesitant at first to book a budget friendly DJ but holy cow am I glad I did! John was extremely helpful, professional, and quick to answer every single email. Our DJs for both the ceremony and reception called exactly when they said they would, and discussed any and every detail even I didn't think of. They played the music we wanted, kept the dance floor going, and made our day an absolute blast. I would recommend them to everybody, and have!

Absolutely fantastic experience all the way around! Very easy to work with and understand and they helped take a lot of stress away in regards to planning our wedding. Our DJ, Paulie, was awesome! He called us ahead of time and even helped us in regards to some timeline planning since he obviously knows weddings pretty well! Paulie was very professional and did a great job of reading the crowd and playing what we were enjoying the most! Paulie followed the timeline perfectly, played every song we wanted, and did a great job of keeping things moving since my bride and I could hardly keep track of anything since we were having so much fun! Our daughter got married in July 2016 in St. Louis. The ceremony and reception were held at a local hotel but at different locations within the hotel. Pro Sound provided music at both locations. Our DJ, Jon, was very professional and was able to easily transition from the ceremony to the reception. My daughter and son-in-law really liked the option of being able to choose every song they wanted played during the reception. The DJ kept the evening moving on schedule without making himself the center of attention. Wedding planning can be overwhelming but Pro Sound was there to answer all of our questions and made this a stress-free process, especially since neither my daughter nor I live in St. Louis. We would highly recommend Pro Sound for your wedding or any other event that requires music. Keep up the good work Pro Sound!!

We had pro sound do our ceremony and our reception. They did a great job. We had Paulie as our Dj for the evening and he didn't an amazing job. He was prompt, played exactly what we had asked for and made sure not to play the music we specifically asked to not be played the evening with no exceptions. We had a wonderful experience! Communication was prompt and professional. DJ equipment was one thing I did not have to worry about on my wedding day--I honestly didn't even see the set up/tear down but it was efficient and everything worked well. I would rehire them in a heartbeat!

Pro Sound was SO WONDERFUL to work with. We contracted with them to rent up-lights for the reception. John showed me how to set up the up lights and pack them up. When we returned the up-lights, I realized we were missing a cord, John wasn't upset about it and i was able to pay him for it.. All in all, the prices were reasonable and Pro Sound was awesome!

I highly recommend this DJ service. I had some special request for my walking song as well as my bridesmaid's walking song and they were able to accommodate all of my requests. I even requested that we would be introduced into our reception using the Harry Potter theme song (nerd here) which was no problem for them. All I had to do was send them to mp3 version of the song and they were able to play it no problem at the times I wanted the song to start. The DJ played music that was appropriate for the type of crowd that we had and he took request and was very open to anything that we wanted.

Our DJ, Matt, was absolutely outstanding. I found Pro Sound online and this was entirely a "blind buy" for me. As a groom who's one job was to get a good DJ, I luckily hit the jackpot with Pro Sound. I was able to pick the songs I wanted, have Matt pick songs based on the ones I picked, and have him change what I previously asked him to do one the fly. I don't often write reviews unless I feel a company goes above and beyond. Potential weddings, let me break it down for you: cheap, quality, friendly, punctual, and flexible. I cannot recommend this company more. Matt was able to audible on the fly, dismiss tables for dinner, pick great music and look professional. If you're a bride or groom looking for an amazing DJ without doing a lot of research, I hope you read this review and choose Pro Sound.

I had the pleasure of having Thomas DJ my wedding and he went above and beyond. He played to the crowd and got the party going. Pro Sound had excellent communication which I know is sometimes hard to get with vendors. I was emailed throughout the planning process and Thomas called me the week of to go over all the details. Thomas also came outside and spoke with me before the wedding party walked in to ensure that everything was accurate. I used Pro Sound for both DJ and lighting and I could not of asked for anything better. Pro Sound was also very reasonably priced and provided top notch quality. I highly recommend them and will use them again if I ever need a DJ.

We saved hundreds of dollars by renting our DJ equipment instead of hiring a DJ. The equipment we were able to rent from Pro Sound was easy for us to plug in our tablets and computers to play our own music all night long! Pro Sound DJ was the perfect solution for us for our reception. We wanted to set up a system, plug in an iPod with a playlist, and have our Best Man just say a few things to keep everything moving. I would highly recommend ProSound to anyone looking for a DJ service for a wedding. John at ProSound is excellent to work with. He handled coordinating everything for our big day. We had our ceremony and reception at two different locations (ceremony at the Jewel Box, reception at the Sheraton Downtown) with very little break in between, so we were in need of a ceremony music package in addition to the reception music and DJ. Their prices simply can’t be beat.

One way that they can maintain those prices is that they don’t do face to face consultations, everything is coordinated via phone and e-mail. We coordinated everything with John prior to the event and then we had a phone consultation with the DJ and technician in charge of handling our reception and ceremony respectively the week of the wedding. They have an extensive music list for receptions and event planning forms that detail every aspect. For our reception we had a few requests including one that wasn’t on their music list, which we supplied to them. We also wanted to have a specific intro song for each bridesmaid/groomsman couple who was introduced to the reception. Our reception DJ Scott handled all of this flawlessly.

The sound quality and equipment were excellent, this included dance floor lighting which was a nice bonus. Scott did a fantastic job!

We also booked a sound technician and sound equipment for our ceremony through ProSound. This was a little different in that you have to provide the music to the technician and he would then play it per your timeline. Our technician for our ceremony was Jim, and to put it simply, he killed it! He came to our ceremony location and was set up in advance of our ceremony, and I have to give him added points because it was 80 degrees on Oct 25th, which none of us expected, and it was hot.

Everything was executed perfectly.

John was excellent to work with and Scott and Jim were fantastic and helped make our wedding day amazing!

I used ProSound for my ceremony music as well as my reception venue at Lemp Mansion. They were absolutely fabulous throughout the entire planning process and the entire wedding. The turnaround time for any emails I sent them with questions was always under 24 hours (usually immediate) and they made sure to answer everything in detail. They explained everything to me and made sure we were always on the same page. The DJ we had was outstanding. He handled the ceremony perfectly, helped keep the wedding party right on track, and made sure we were 100% satisfied. He was there from beginning to end and did a great job entertaining our guests and following the exact timeline we wanted. In addition to this, he was very personable and accommodating. If you want a stress free DJ company, I highly recommend this company. They will make sure you do not have to worry about anything on your wedding day! :) Also, a great value compared to other companies in STL for the same services.

I was extremely impressed with Pro Sound DJ.

John, the owner, was extremely responsive via e-mail and phone when we were in the planning stage. He went through the pricing with me carefully, and helped find the package that suited our needs (not just the most expensive package). It also helped that their services are really competitively priced.

The DJ (Everett) was amazing. He called us a week beforehand to make sure he understood our requests and plans. He showed up immaculately dressed, got the ceremony sound system set up in record time, and helped us organize the wedding party/procession. After the cocktail hour, he got dinner music going quickly, got the toasts lined up and ready to go, and streamlined the entire process. Once it was (finally!) time to dance, he put together a terrific mix based on our suggestions that had our whole 100 person wedding moving the dance floor. After everything, he got everything broken down and out quickly and efficiently, smiling the whole time.

I couldn't have been happier with the job John and Everett did at our wedding. If you want a great DJ for a reasonable price, this is the right company for you.

We used Pro Sound for our wedding, and we were BEYOND pleased!!!! They were so professional and made everything SO easy! Our DJ was awesome, he really went out of his way to make sure the night was perfect for us. Their website is also extremely user friendly!!! We would not change one thing about our experience with them, it was absolutely perfect!!! They are VERY reasonably priced too, I have nothing but the BEST things to say about this company! You will not be disappointed if you go with them!

Pr Sound was amazing! I did everything via email with John, and he set me up with Jimmy who DJ'd for our wedding and reception. They were both great! It was such a stress-free experience, and Jimmy was SO fun! He handled my last minute changes with ease, and the entire ceremony and reception ran smoothly because of him. They are sure affordable too!

My overall experience with Pro Sound was excellent. When comparing prices, this company was the most reasonable that i could find in the St. Louis area. Since I was a bride on a tight budget, I gave them a call. I spoke with John, and he was so accommodating. He gave me lots of options that were within my budget. We decided on a ceremony and reception music package with lighting for the reception. Jim was our DJ. He called a few days before the wedding to go over last minute details. He is a very friendly guy and a pleasure to work with. On the wedding day, Jim was fantastic! I was a bit unorganized, but Jim was able to help fill in all the gaps, such as getting programs passed out, conducting the flow of traffic during our buffet style dinner, and finding someone to open our champagne for the toast. This man is absolutely awesome at thinking on his feet! Jim played great music all night and took requests from guests (with my permission, of course!) Our wedding day was perfect, and we could not have done it without our DJ! Thank you Jim! :)

John was awesome. He responded to every email and answered the phone personally. His website is exactly true. I'll recommend Pro Sound DJ & Lighting Rental to everyone. He gave my sister who picked the equipment up a tutorial on how to transport it, hook it up, use it properly and some pointers on how to best use the system. The equipment is of the highest quality.

I worked with Pro Sound for my June 2014 wedding and they were GREAT! So easy to work with, and great value for what I paid. They were reliable and showed up when they were supposed to, and really helped my wedding reception go smoothly. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for DJ equipment rental, lighting, etc!

John and Scott did a wonderful job with my wedding reception!! Everyone danced the night away and all they talked about after the wedding was how much fun they had. I really cant say enough about this company, Not only were they affordable, but they were professional and reliable.. We chose Prosound because they had the most reasonable prices, but we had an excellent experience with them from start to finish. They were helpful and communicative before the wedding, and the DJ, Jim, contacted us by phone to go over details of the days events and song requests. On the day of, we needed Jim to set up in one location during the ceremony and then set up again in a different location for the reception--he was totally flexible and accommodating, and I never even noticed that the move happened--it was seamless. The music was great, and Jim touched base with us throughout the reception to time the songs for special events right, he was even helpful in letting me know that the song I had chosen for the father daughter dance was over 6 minutes--which he thought I might be concerned about because my father walks with a cane. We worked out a signal and he ended the song early so no one really knew. The dance music was great---everyone had a great time. I can't recommend them enough!

We used Pro Sound DJ for our reception and couldn't have been any happier with the service we got. Our dj was very outgoing and played everything we chose off the music list and some of his own choices that fit right in to fill the gap because we didn't choose enough music to fill the complete time of our reception. Even when people asked for request that he wasn't to sure about he asked us before playing their request. We didn't have a entry song chosen either which he was a big help with and had a ton of karaoke songs which was perfect because we had only wanted the music without the words. Pro Sound was highly recommended to us and now by us!

John was easy to work with our renting our up-lighting package that we needed for our reception hall. I liked the fact that he also spend some time with me upon arrival for pick-up giving me a easy-to-understand tutorial on how to set up and use the lights.

We hired Pro Sound for our wedding reception in September. They were great to work with. They were very responsive to my inquiries and able to provide exactly what we wanted. Our DJ called us ahead of time to iron out all of the details and everything went perfectly during the event. Our party was relaxing and fun and Pro Sound did a great job!

I wrote them and mentioned the space the reception was at and they were able to let me know the appropriate light kit for the event. John was very professional and knowledgeable about the equipment which made it very easy to set-up and use. Also had some of the best prices that I had found. Highly recommend using them.

THe lights and music were great. The DJ played was matched to our taste and she did a great job. She was prompt, helpful, and fun. She played an excellent mix for our crowd and really listened to what I wanted. She called a week before the event to talk to me. The cost was excellent----they provide an excellent deal for the service. Highly recommend this DJ service.

Fantastic service, and really affordable. Jimmy was the DJ for our wedding, and he did an amazing job. He was kind, enthusiastic, super-organized (kept the speeches/entrances running like clockwork), made sure to pronounce 16 very difficult names correctly, and handled a difficult wedding guest so gracefully. I'd recommend them to anyone!

What we loved most about Pro Sound, DJ and Lighting was the VALUE for what we paid. Our DJ was so professional---and really kept the night going but still flexible. He would come to talk with us if needed to ask our opinion about something....but didn't overwhelm us. When planning for our wedding, the website was really user friendly to help us plan for our wedding music. I would highly recommend them for all DJ needs!

Prosound DJ & Lighting were great to work with! I rented a deluxe DJ equipment and lighting set from them for my wedding, and they delivered it on time and instructed my DJ on how to use the equipment. They were really nice to cater to a last minute change in my equipment set up, and offered to provide the additional service at a low cost. The value of renting the equipment was great too, if you have your own DJ on hand. Would definitely recommend this vendor for your wedding!
