Fabulous women

Heather and Ashlee did mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for our original wedding ceremony and postponed reception. They were amazing both times! So grateful they were flexible, professional, and made our day so fun!

Amazing results!

Ashlee and Heather are super professional and sweet. They did an amazing job on my hair/makeup for my wedding day! I definitely will be back in the future for special occasions.

Oh. My. Goodness! You will not go wrong booking the Primp ladies for your hair and makeup. Prices were extremely fair and service was awesome. Even in hot and humid July my hair and makeup stayed beautiful for over 12 hours. The only downside...was my cheeks and mouth hurt from laughing so hard while getting ready! I promise you will not be disappointed!

I was more than lucky to locate Ashlee @ Primp! I sent her an email request and she responded within the hour. I was in need of my make up done for a wedding I was in, but only found out days before. She was able to work me in the day of and assured me although my appointment was at 915 am, my make up would last beyond past the wedding at 5pm. She was SO right! I even wore it all the next day while traveling and got so many compliments. She was so great at making sure I was confident in the pictures I brought and showed me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with what she was doing as she was going. The airbrush make up is a must and the lashes she offers are beautiful! I will be suggesting her services to anyone and everyone I know in the Tulsa area! Can't wait to be back in the area again for a special occasion to have my make up done again!

Wowowow I love Ashlee and Heather! After being a part of a couple of weddings now I am so happy that Heather and Ashlee were in charge of my hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. I was a skeptic, but my hair and makeup truly stayed all day (from about 11 am to 11 pm)! I can't wait to have them do my hair and makeup for another event!

Ashlee was awesome! I had a bad experience with the first beauty consultant I booked a month before the wedding. Ashlee, at the last minute, was able to work her schedule to fit me and my bridal party in early and she did an excellent job. Great environment, would recommend to anyone.

Heather and Ashlee did a fantastic job with all of our ladies’ hair and makeup. We had a total of 11 women for each and they were able to get all of us through efficiently. All of the ladies’ were amazed by how great their hair and makeup looked! They were easy to coordinate trial dates and times even though I only had short periods where I was in Tulsa prior to the wedding.

Primp did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and some of bridesmaids. They did so great! I have used other hair and makeup professionals at friends' weddings, and I would definitely rate Primp as the best I've had. They really listen to what you want and do such a great job!!

Ashlee and Heather did such a great job on hair and makeup for my wedding. I was so happy with the final result. My hair and makeup looked great even after I got home following the wedding. They were really patient with me (a neurotic planner) throughout the planning process and were so professional. I would totally say hands down they're your best bet for hair and makeup in the Tulsa area. And I would know, I went to many trials. They are the perfect team.

Ashlee did such an awesome job for my wedding day! She met us at the salon were we getting our hair done at! She came prepared and all my bridesmaids looked so great! She also did my mother's make up and she looked like a million bucks! I loved the way she did my make up and make it look so elegant, I truly felt like a bride because of how great she did my make up! I had a trial run for my bridals a few weeks before my wedding and she took notes so she knew just how I liked my makeup done and if anything needed to be changed for the big day! I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of a makeup artist for their big day!

Ashlee and Heather did more than I could have ever dreamed of! I did a trial, bridal shoot, and the wedding day with them. Every single time my makeup and hair was consistent and exactly what I wanted. They document exactly what you want and then ask you your opinion on each step of the process. On my Wedding Day they were early and ready before we were. This was so refreshing working with people in this industry. When you are planning your wedding, the last thing you want to worry about is whether or not your vendors are going to show up and I assure you that will never be a concern with these wonderful women. They made my special day relaxing and my hair and makeup flawless! Book them as soon as you can!

Was iffy about having someone do my makeup for my wedding, but after my makeup trial with Ashlee..I am so happy I decided to go with her and the amazing airbrush makeup! It stayed on my face all day and it looked flawless. Ashlee is very friendly and professional. She does an amazing job. I would recommend her to everyone!

Heather was awesome! I don't wear much make up and she didn't pressure me into too much. She listened to exactly what I wanted and pulled it off perfectly. She's super sweet and accommodated my crazy day of wedding schedule without a blink of an eye. Love her to pieces. <3

Ashlee Bivins is a very talented makeup artist, she pays attention to detail and direction as she understands the needs and wants of your exact appearance approach! Ashlee did makeup for my wedding for myself, sister, mom, and MIL. We all loved our makeup and could not have been happier! We got many compliments on how great our makeup looked throughout the day! She's a great makeup artist!

To all who are looking for a talented and fun makeup artist - here she is! These pictures will be viewed for a lifetime - and maybe more - and she knows exactly how to do the makeup so that you photograph spectacularly. She also decreased my anxiety on the big day because I didn't worry about mascara running, or my nose turning red when I cried, or my makeup melting or cracking. It looked as great at 11pm as when she put it on at 11am! She listened to what I wanted, but made some great suggestions too. She also did my makeup for a boudoir session I did a year later - very different makeup, with much smokier eyes and an edge, but still stunning! I highly recommend her.

Ashlee is absolutely amazing!!! She was one of my favorite wedding vendors and I am going to come up with reasons to keep seeing her!!! She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process from the makeup trial to tips for prepping for the big day. She was great about letting me know her scheduling 2 weeks out and doing everything she could to fit me in at my desired time. She arrived on time to the venue and got everyone ready before our required finish time. She even squeezed in an extra girl which I really appreciated knowing what a tight schedule she has with multiple events on the same day. She had the best attitude and her assistant was awesome too. I highly recommend getting your makeup done for your wedding day. Totally worth cutting costs somewhere else to have this done for you. Completely cuts down on wedding day stress and you will look more amazing than you could have ever imagined. Thanks for taking such great care if me and my wedding party. Ashlee is truly gifted and the best to have around on your crazy happy big day!!!

Not only is Ashley a great makeup artist, but she is also a wonderful person. She did my makeup for my bridal portraits and wedding day and did an amazing job for both! She is easy to coordinate with, really pays attention to your ideas and wants, and makes you look beautiful for your big day (with makeup that lasts all through the event and still looks great)! I love that she will come to you for wedding day makeup, which is so convenient for getting ready together with your family and wedding party.
I would highly recommend Ashley for anyone looking for quality work and a genuine person to work with!

Ashlee Bivins is an amazing make-up artist! She did my make-up for my engagement pictures and for my wedding. She is very respectful and isn't the type artist that will cake make-up on and make you look like someone your not. The quality of her work is well worth what she charges. My make-up along with the rest of my wedding party was very impressed with how well their make-up stayed on. Your make-up will NOT come off until you take it off! I highly recommend Ashlee Bivins for any event, she will make you look like a model!! :)

I always wanted to look like a movie star, but knew there was no way UNTIL Ashley performed her magic. Her calm professional, fun & sweet demeanor created an excitement amongst the entire wedding party, plus Mom’s friends. Please don’t let Hollywood take you away from us!
Thank you Ashley for you patience in allowing & accommodating every minute detail we presented in our planning - A+ . The 11am application still looked just applied at 11pm. another A+.

Can’t wait for another occasion to have Ashley do my make-up! Fine .. I’ll just make hubby take me out so I can look stunning - AGAIN!

Ashlee and her assistant were amazing! The epitome of professionalism and the perfect combination of friendly and fun :) The make -up for my wedding was flawless and STILL over two years later I get compliments on how beautiful I looked that day! She has now done my make-up for my engagements, wedding, bridal portraits and a boudoir shoot - worth every penny :)

Ashlee is the absolute BEST! I will never trust anyone else to do my makeup as beautifully as she does!! And it's laughs and fun the entire time. It was the icing on the top to know I didn't even have to question if I would like my makeup on my big day! Ashlee is amazing...She did my makeup for my engagement photos, and wedding. Absolutely amazing. I do not wear a ton of makeup on a normal basis, and I felt like Ashlee really understood what I wanted. She also did makeup for my whole wedding party, and in June she will be doing makeup for my best friends wedding. Can't wait!

She was incredible (as was her assistant!!) They made me feel so calm (during such an intensely emotional time) and made me laugh which was very important to me! She does amazing work!! The airbrush is great and my eyes looked awesome! She listened to everything I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. I felt so beautiful!

I have never looked prettier! I used Ashlee for my engagement pictures, bridal portraits and my wedding. Best decision ever. I will have pictures I'm proud of because Ashlee was able to deliver the exact look I wanted. She is awesome!

This girl is amazing! She did the mother of the bride and the bride. Both turned out wonderful and it lasted through the whole evening no touch up needed! If you are thinking of skipping the professional makeup, think again! You will be happy you did it!

I booked a makeup artist in November 2011 prior to my August 2012 wedding. Problems developed and I found myself needing a makeup artist just over 2 weeks before my wedding. Needless to say, I was panicking! Ashlee called me back quickly, fit me in for a trial run that weekend and took a huge load of stress off my shoulders!

I'm a former pageant girl, so I know good makeup and was looking for quality. I was very happy with Ashlee's work, she was so much fun visiting with during my trial and wedding day application, and was willing to meet me at my location if I chose. She is a little more pricey than the makeup artist I originally hired, but well worth the money! It was great to not have to stress over my makeup on my wedding day. Thanks Ashlee for saving me and making me look amazing for my big day!

Ashlee was a lifesaver! I was stood up by THREE different makeup artists and was 3 weeks away from my wedding. I called up Ashlee and booked her for the wedding in no time flat. She got me in for a trial within the same week I called her. She was always easy to reach and never let me down. My wedding was on a holiday too and she didn't even charge an extra fee! She was so professional and made me look amazing on my wedding day! I couldn't have asked for more.

Ashlee did my wedding makeup and I have never felt more beautiful in my life! She did such a great job! She was the last touch that brought everything together and I am so happy with how it turned out! I got compliment after compliment about how great my makeup was. Not only is she an amazing makeup artist but she is very professional and incredibly nice. She is easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable. I know if I ever need my makeup done again, I will definitely be using her and I hope you will too!

I couldn't have been more happy with my make-up & the personal service Ashlee Bivins provided for my wedding day! Not only did she make me look amazing, she was also very friendly & professional. I usually do not wear much make-up on a day-to-day basis so I wanted someone who knew what they were doing to help me on my special day. She listened to what I envisioned myself looking like & figured out exactly what I wanted.
Ahslee does the airbrush make-up which I had no clue what it was....it's awesome! I never had to touch up the entire evening & it never felt heavy or like it was "too much." She made me look exactly the way I wanted for my wedding!
She was also very flexible & willing to go where ever was easiest for me to meet her.
If I ever have an event where I need my make-up done again, I will be calling Ashlee!!

I am a professional hair stylist that worked with Ashlee Bivins on several photo shoots and one wedding. I ALWAYS had my fingers crossed that she would be the make-up artist for the shoot and was so glad to work with her at the wedding. It made all the difference in the world in the appearance and photogenic quality of the model/bride. She is timely, accurate and talented. I'd love to work with her again and again.

Ashlee did my makeup the day of my wedding, as well as my mom and sister's and she did am amazing job! I had an outdoor wedding in the middle of June, the temp was close to 100 degrees, I was profusely sweating, and my makeup still looked flawless! She did such a great job that I recently hired her again to do makeup for my maternity pics'n :)

Ashlee did my airbrush tan as well as my wedding day makeup. She was incredible to work with! I didn't have a picture of what I wanted and just by explaining the style to her, she did exactly what I wanted. My bridesmaids and I were very happy we used her for our makeup. Also, the airbrush tan looked so natural that I will never using a tanning bed again for any occasion.

Ashlee did the make up on all my bridesmaids, my mother and myself for my wedding. She was incredible and everyone looked flawless. She used airbrush makeup (which was really neat) and attached false eye-lashes for those who requested them. She is VERY sweet, professional and will bring to life any expectation/vision you may have. I had complete trust in her to make us girls look beautiful on my big day and I was not the least bit disappointed! I HIGHLY recommend her services.

Ashlee is an amazing make-up artist! She did an amazing job on me and my sister for my wedding. I have suggested her service to many of my friends. You really can't go wrong with Ashlee. And let me just say, when we did my test make-up weeks before the wedding, there were things I wanted to change..i.e: I wanted my make-up lighter and the day of the wedding, Ashlee did just that. She really tries to make the bride (or whoever) feel happy. She isnt trying to prove something for herself, if you know what I mean. Ashlee just wants to make you beautiful. And she will. She is the best here in this area (Tulsa,OK) and she has a great career ahead of her in this line of work.

Ashlee did a GREAT job! I highly recommend a professional make-up artist and she is the one!!
She was prompt and was ALL BUSINESS the whole day. I even slipped in three extra people in for her to do, and she got all of us done timely without any issues or hesitations. She was very flexible!
We all looked amazing thanks to her. She even was very flexible in her cost with me since I had quite a few bridesmaids.
Her airbrushing, colors, and lashes were so amazing. We all felt like models!

I choose airbrush make up in hopes that it would last for the entire day. It did and looked great from 9:30 AM to midnight! Ashlee was wonderful from beginning to end. She was flexible and responsive. I highly recommend Ashlee!

Ashlee is great! She did my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding day. All of us absolutely loved, loved how we looked. The week before my wedding we had a little bit of a scheduling problem, but after talking with Ashlee she rearranged her schedule and everything ended up working out perfectly. I would definitely recommend Ashlee!

Ashlee and Heather are so wonderful! Their work is gorgeous and they are just so much fun! My girls loved them and the conversation was so easy with them and their team. We laughed so much with these girls- it was like they were part of the bridal party! Although a bit pricey, my hair and makeup was well worth it. Ashlee did an amazing job with my wedding makeup, and for my mother-in-law and my mom. I had a couple changes after my bridal trial, such as less blush and more emphasis on eyelashes and Ashlee made the appropriate changes and it turned out great! My mom's only complaint was that she wanted a little more eye liner and never got exactly as much as she wanted on her lower eye line. Other than that everything was perfect! She arrived on time and kept everything on schedule! I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

My mom and I used Ashlee for full makeup and eye lashes. After our trial run, we decided to see how long the makeup would last, so we slept in our makeup (lashes and all) and wore it the next day when I just so happened to have a wedding shower. It was 100 degrees plus the next day and I never once felt like I got "shiny" or that my makeup was running. I was sold on using Ashlee on my wedding day.
On the day of my wedding, Ashlee and her assistant came early (10 am for a 6pm ceremony) to do our makeup. They did a wonderful job.
I do feel like the price is a little steep, but it was worth is for feeling beautiful all day long. I never once had to touch up my makeup.
Also, I would've liked to do make up a little later in the day, but it did all work out and I understand that she has multiple clients to get to (She had 2 or 3 other weddings that day and she had already done make up for a senior before she did my make up!)
I would definitely recommend having your makeup done by a professional on your wedding day. It takes out all the stress, and it's fun being oooh'ed and ahhh'ed over :)

Ashley does an amazing job! She did my makeup at 10am and it stayed just as great until we left the reception at 11pm! It looks so flawless in pictures. I recommend a test run because she'll try different looks so(mostly on eyes) so you can decide just what is right on the big day!

As with some of the previous reviews, I must agree. While my makeup was gorgeous and long lasting... Ashlee's scheduling made me feel robbed. The only melt down I had on my wedding day was because of hair and makeup. Ashlee asked me when I needed to be ready by and I told her by 4 and she said ok! Next thing I know she scheduled me for 8am. I figured she had to start early because I had so many bridal party members. However, she showed up with an assistant and the lady doing our hair, Heather, showed up with two assistants. They started doing 3-4 girls at a time, by the time I realized that she had double booked that day and wanted to have me finished by noonfor my 7 o'clock wedding.. I had no time to get my photographer or videographer to come and take pictures and film. For the money I paid for her service, I expected to at least have her for the day or a time slot that worked for me. Apparently after reading the reviews I'm not the only bride/person she has done this to. She did the same thing to my friend for her wedding, luckily I warned her and she asked immediately about the time slot. She again, had her double booked and wanted to bride done before noon. My advice if you use her- set your time slot ahead of time... other than that, she is a doll to work with and will make you look and feel beautiful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and would love to use her again!

Ashlee was very attentive to what i was wanting for my wedding. I went in for my trial and she helped me pick the perfect shade of eye shadow, lipstick, and all the other little details. She is incredibly flexible with her scheduling and will go out of her way to help make everything as easy as possible. I am so excited to have her be a part of my wedding day.

I was extremely unhappy with the way Ashlee handled my wedding. I think all of her services are overpriced, but it was my wedding day and I wanted to look beautiful. Also the idea of her coming to us while getting ready was a plus instead of traveling from hair to makeup studios.

The trial went well for my engagement photos, we met at her studio she spent a fair amount of time with me and I placed the deposit for the wedding day. As the wedding neared I was in the process of figuring out who in my wedding party would need makeup as well. The email communication was difficult because the responses were slow and at times no response was given. TWO DAYS before the wedding I finally got the info for what time she would be there to get all 5 of our makeup done. She told me 2pm, Our pictures started at 4:30. This seemed like not enough time and I was concerned but she told me that she was bringing an assistant. They arrived around 2:15 and it was RUSHED. She did not take her time to make sure that every one was happy with their makeup because there was NO TIME. She only did lipstick on me, no one else. And it was so expensive.

It was added stress on my wedding day and if I could do it over again I would have chosen a different makeup artist.

This is a tough review to write. In general, I was pleased with the makeup styling I paid for, but the overall experience was highly disappointing. I did a makeup trial for my bridal portraits (about one month before my wedding) and I fell in love with the look Ashlee created. It was delicate and natural while still looking completely refined. Wear was good - I kept the makeup on from morning until night and it held up quite well.

One very negative part of my experience was scheduling. Ashlee did not contact me to set up a time for the wedding day makeup even though I had the full deposit in place for my wedding date. My attempts to get in touch with her did not get any response until the night before the wedding, in which she offered me only two completely unworkable options. Her schedule was full with prom appointments. It's understandable that she would be busy that time of year, but it seems very unprofessional to leave a bridal appointment hanging like that.

Honestly I have no idea how this issue got resolved because my godsend of a wedding coordinator took it from there (seriously, if you need a recommendation for a day-of coordinator, LET ME KNOW). But when we did sit down for the wedding day styling, the appointment was rushed and impersonal. The final product was good, but not nearly as good as the trial. Ashlee offered me no chance to even look in the mirror and request small changes before she was packed up and out the door. With such a high price tag, I expected much better customer service.

Absolute worst experience I've encountered. There is a complete lack of professional conduct, disregard for ethics, and poor communication.
