  Ethereal Photos

  Within the first contact with this husband and wife team she was professional and personable. They were quick to respond to queries and answered all my questions. He was right on time (came alone bc we had a small elopement) and was a great sport as we bounced him on the back of a golf cart out into the woods for our photos. It was a dreary overcast day and you wouldn’t know it from these dreamy photos. They definitely worked some magic in editing! Love the photos, great experience, 10/10 would recommend.

  So thankful for David and Melissa!

  We could not have asked for a better photography team to capture our wedding day! We (and our family and friends!) loved our final images, from getting ready pre-ceremony to the firework send-off, Melissa and David captured it all. They are so talented and were always ready to capture fun candids, while also getting all the details. Most importantly to me, they were wonderful to work with which left us with not only fabulous photos but also memories of a very positive experience. They were professional but also fun, they made great suggestions for photos but were never pushy, they work seamlessly together (love husband and wife teams for wedding vendors!), and our whole party felt very comfortable with them. I am so happy to have found David and Melissa and so thankful for all the memories we can now look back on for years to come

  Picture Perfect

  Amazing photos and amazing people! David and Melissa did an awesome job capturing our special day. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They walked us through how to pose and where to look which made for natural/elegant pictures. I would love to use Prime and Ivy again in the future.

  Wonderful!

  Absolutely wonderful and easy to work with. Can't thank them enough for putting up with a very chaotic, dramatic, and HOT wedding day. They remained professional and captured amazing photos that highlight all of the best parts of our day!

  Beautiful photos, great people

  David and Melissa were a great time and worked together great in order to get amazing shots of our wedding day! I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Tallahassee area. The edits were beautiful, and they were great at coordinating our day

  A Joy to Work With!

  Melissa and David are simply the best! We are beyond happy we hired them to photograph our engagement and wedding. They are a fantastic photography team and gave us lots of great recommendations for session locations, poses, wedding day logistics, etc. They are total pros and we always felt very taken care of. Our engagement and wedding photos are absolutely beautiful and they were a JOY to work with. I can't recommend them enough!

  Amazing, easy going and timely!

  Just Incredible!

  We truly could not have asked for a better photography team for our wedding. From start to finish, David and Melissa were professional, fun, punctual, and so easy to get along with! That was one of the most important things to us when choosing a photographer. We wanted someone we could really connect with and who would make us feel comfortable when we were in front of the camera. David and Melissa did all that and more. Being husband and wife, they work so well together and know each other’s cues to capture all the special moments of your engagement and wedding photos. There were so many photos in our final album that I would not have seen if it weren’t for them. They really made sure that they recorded every little detail of our special day. The photographs turned out even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. I can’t thank Prime & Ivy enough for the moments they captured on our wedding day that my husband and I will cherish for years to come!

  Better than a DREAM

  David and Melissa were extraordinary from the very start. Both competent and creative, organized and practical, they made planning the photography for our weddind a breeze. The part they played that evening was flawless and efficient, and both of them were a bundle of fun all night. We got gorgeous preview photos within days, but once we received the full collection, we were blown away. They captured the spirit of our evening better than we ever could have expected. Somehow, every time we look at our pictures, we notice something new and it always makes us smile. We -could not- have chosen better photographers. They were an absolute blessing and our wedding simply would not have been the same with anyone else. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  Best of the best and for a good price

  Melissa and David were absolutely amazing! We did over a two hour engagement shoot and had six hours of them talking pictures at the wedding and the price was truly amazing. All of the pictures are absolutely stunning and I wish I could get all 130 engagement pictures and over 500 wedding photos printed but I have no clue what I would do with them all. Did I mention that they came up with the best poses for us to do and just helped us look natural. Seriously look into them for your wedding.

  Loved Working with Prime & Ivy

  David and Melissa were wonderful to work with! They traveled to shoot my wedding in Destin and arrived at least an hour before they were even scheduled to be there. I loved having both of them shoot for my wedding because I felt like they were able to get pictures from every angle without missing a beat of my wedding. I would love to work with them in the future.

  I discovered Donaldson Photography through a wedding website and I am so thankful I did! I reached out to Melissa and she was super quick to respond and very nice. She offers multiple package options that are extremely reasonable and honestly, made many of my fellow bride friends jealous, even including the minimal travel fee! Since we did not live in the same city, my husband and I really wanted to have an engagement session as a chance to get to know Melissa and Dave prior to our big day. I’ve seen many of husband and wife teams that go back and forth with one another in front of customers/clients but Melissa and Dave are an incredible team. They were so professional and helpful throughout our shoot and throughout the whole process. We were so thankful to have Melissa and Dave helping us every step of the way on wedding day. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we have received so many compliments on them. We can not say enough about how awesome Donaldson Photography is!

  Down to earth and effortless

  Working with Melissa and David was so easy and effortless. I had no idea what I was doing but they were so helpful with their instructions to get the right poses and most natural shots. Just really great and down to earth. Highly recommend them for any photography session.

  Amazing photographer

  Melissa and David were amazing to work with!! They were very responsive from the start and so attentive to our needs and desire for our wedding day. Their prices are very reasonable and they do a fantastic job through and through!! Love them!

  An absolute joy to work with! Has great knowledge and expertise in taking outstanding photos! I LOVE all of my wedding photos! It's so hard to choose a favorite bc they're all so beautiful!! The photos speak for themselves... The BEST decision I made to remember our wedding day is Donaldson Photography!!! I am forever grateful and extremely happy With how everything came out.   The Donaldson’s are so great! They are very accommodating and really know what they’re doing! They traveled 3 hours for my wedding, and had no issue with it! Every single photo is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend over and over!
