Robert was so fun and easy to talk to throughout the planning process. He respected our budget, and was flexible when it rained all day on our wedding. He was very organized on wedding day and coordinated with our planner, but more importantly, he was a HUGE hit with our guests! The song progression and transitions between songs through the reception were so fun that my new husband literally ripped his pants... Rob had a breakdance moment of his own (no ripped pants), which was also a fun surprise! I made a special note to him to surprise them and play my parents' first dance, which he did, and it was one of my favorite moments of the night.

DJ PRIME hosted my best friend's wedding last weekend, and he did not disappoint! Throughout the entire process, he was professional, responsive, flexible, and very accommodating! He brought a lapel for the bishop to use during the ceremony, and even brought additional mics just in case someone else needed one. During the reception, he kept it classy by playing appropriate music for the guests and had us jamming to the CHA CHA SLIDE and other tunes! He even collaborated with the LIVE singer without notice, and made adjustments to last minute changes to the timeline seamlessly! THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING!! Brought the Party
Robert was so much fun to work with for our wedding. He was super responsive in emails and texts and he really came out to bring the party. He really got our vibe from the song selections we sent him. The songs he picked were FIRE. We had loads of compliments and it really felt like there was something played for everyone. To top it off he came out from behind the DJ booth to breakdance with the wedding guests.

Wedding Ceremony/ Reception
We hired Robert for our wedding during COVID, when it was very difficult to meet people, so finding somebody I knew would be great was essential. I found videos of Robert’s work online and was impressed right away. His work at our wedding did not disappoint in the slightest!
Robert was by far our best vendor of the night, and many comments from family and friends indicate that I’m not alone in that opinion. Right from the get-go, Robert was responsive, punctual, and precise. He is a straight-shooter and does what he says he’ll do.
My wife and I are both music teachers and I work as a freelance musician too. So naturally, the music was extremely important to us both. Robert’s smooth ability to take any precise instruction and run with it was absolutely awesome! Any cue, musical entrance, announcements…. he nailed every one! He also paced the flow of the music and song choices remarkably well; nobody felt that the energy was off the entire night. Simply put, Rob can read a room and respond perfectly.
The best part of all, though, was that I wanted myself and about a dozen friends to perform the music for my ceremony live. Robert was willing to go double-duty and serve as the sound guy for this performance. Again, he absolutely hit it out of the park!
Aside from the professionalism and musical skill, Robert was just genuinely great to work with. A fun, charismatic, and great guy; he’s the total package. I give Robert my highest recommendation, and would advise anybody to hire him for your function! I even talked to him about involving him with other musical work of mine in the future!

DJ Prime made the whole process so easy. He responded quickly every time I texted him. He had a phone call with my daughter to find out what kind of music she liked and had her send him a playlist of requested songs. He was at my event in plenty of time to set up his great light system and other equipment. The music was great and he also breakdanced which was a huge hit with the guests. I’m very glad I hired him and I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Professional, and awesome DJ and MC
Robert did an amazing job getting the timing of our music right for our ceremony and reception songs. I can’t thank Robert enough for the most incredible job! He literally did a BREAK DANCE at the beginning of the dance floor opening during my wedding! I can’t believe how amazing his song choices were and his ability to get the room grooving. He was very responsive to me during my wedding planning end he even providing up lighting free of charge. He couldn’t have been more kind or easy to work with even after I completely messed up and gave him the wrong start time (he still delivered without a single misstep!) Robert was amazing during our wedding. His timing and transitions during the ceremony were flawless and even with an unexpected situation he was able to quickly adapt and go with the flow. His equipment were top-notch and he provided wireless mics so that we wouldn't have to deal with any cables. He even joined us once to bust out his dance moves (actually so good). Even before the wedding, Robert was always very quick to respond to emails and he made a 3 hour drive to attend our vendor walk-through of the venue. He was also very generous and willing to work with our budget. We have no complaints and would definitely recommend him!

DJ Prime was a pleasure to work with! We hired him to provide music for the reception portion of our wedding. The music he played kept everyone moving on the dance floor and he even joined in for a brief time to show off his own dance talent! He played a great variety of songs and the volume was just right for the 40 person guest count. He accommodated many requests with ease and was always readily available and responsive.
The thing that I most want to highlight has very little to do with the service DJ Prime was hired for but really set him apart from others... about a week and a half before our big day, when my stress level was really at its height, I got a text from him just asking how I was doing. It was so thoughtful, kind, and unexpected. I had never met him but that small act of kindness from a stranger was so helpful in that moment and I will never forget it. Thank you!!

We met with DJ Prime a year before the wedding was scheduled to discuss options. He listened to our needs and offered ideas and options. We agreed to sign him immediately after this meeting. Through out the whole process it was a joy working with him, he was very flexible and was quick with responses when we had questions for him. We loved working with Robert for our wedding on 8/17/2019. He helped make our wedding absolutely perfect by keeping the party alive throughout the entire event (reading the crowd and mixing up the music as needed). I especially appreciated his quick responses to emails/texts and thoughtfulness throughout our big day, double checking that we were on time and following the outlined timetable of events. The Best DJ on the East Coast
DJ Rob is the real deal! Me and my wife have been married for 10 days now and we still feel that one of the best aspects of our beautiful wedding was the DJ. We interviewed a handful of potential DJs last year and once we got to DJ Rob, we got rid of the previous ones. This brother is on point folks. He is very accessible! He always made time to talk to me and my wife over the course of our wedding planning. He was very respectful and professional. We loved the fact that he formed a great bond with us both and wanted to make sure that both of our wants and needs for music and entertainment was fulfilled. We were so impressed with him that we even asked that he MC our wedding and reception. He did an amazing job. We felt that having him makes our weddings one of the best in 2019 hands down. He reads the crowds very well; he knows when to give a break; the transitions are on-point (that was a big deal for us) and the man come out and did some break dancing (YES - he came from behind his booth and was break dancing). And when we put together our processional and music list, he was open to walking through it and hearing what we wanted. He was on time and he made sure everything went smoothly. Great guy; great DJ; great man. We will definitely recommend you book him for your wedding, birthday party, bar mitzvah, etc. Even for corporate events he would fit in nice. And he is worth every penny - we did not feel his services were over priced. He’s on our favorite vendor list moving forward if we ever need a DJ. After you read this, don’t go looking at other DJ’s - hit up prime productions.

DJ Prime1 made my big day as special as ever! He is very professional, punctual, and personable. We had several conversations before the wedding date. I mentioned to him the songs I wanted during my ceremony and he found each of them. The ceremony was flawless. I had an outdoor wedding. The most entertaining and memorable DJ ever!
My wife and I initially did not intend to have a DJ at our wedding, as it was a small, intimate event. While looking for a Karaoke machine rental, I came across DJ Prime. After telling him about the event, and my concerns that a DJ may not be necessary for us, he reassured me that he was adaptable, and could entertain almost any crowd. I am SO glad that I came around and decided to book DJ Prime for my wedding. He gave me the EXACT service that a wedding like ours needed- he entertained the crowd during dinner, helped us play the shoe game, and facilitated karaoke later in the night to great success. He was timely professional, and courteous. Furthermore, Prime helped us decide on a package that met our needs and price range. I cannot stress how thankful I am that DJ Prime reached out to us and aided in making our wedding a memorable, wonderful experience. DJ Prime was a great fit for my wedding. Since he is not local to me we didn't get to meet in person prior to the event, but had a positive phone conversation to go over all my needs and questions as well as frequent emails to communicate. DJ Prime worked with my song list, accepted requests and held to my do-not play list. DJ Prime interacted with my young nephews showing them some break dancing moves. DJ Prime kept everything professional and hustled all evening keeping guests entertained.

Wedding DJ
I had to plan a wedding in Philadelphia, and I lived in Detroit. Found DJ Prime on an internet search, and he had great reviews. He was incredibly responsive from beginning to end. I didn’t want the volume level incredibly high, and he respected that request (only turned up the volume when the mood required it).
We were not clear on what we wanted the ‘flow’ of the evening to be, and had to change plans a few times during the cocktail hour/reception. DJ Prime seamlessly carried out our ever-changing plans.
Music quality was great, as well as play list. Highly recommend.

I was always so impressed by how responsive Robert was whenever we had a question or concern. He welcomed all our unusual song requests and cut our first dance song a few different times before the wedding so that we could use it while taking dance lessons. He also threw in a few break dancing moves on the dance floor at the wedding, which definitely put a smile on a few faces. :) Over all really well done!

We hired DJ Prime for our wedding and we were not disappointed. The party was amazing and the dance floor was never empty! He was very respectful and nailed all of our special requests, especially for the important songs (i.e. processional, recessional, first dance, parent dances, last song). He had worked in our venue before so it made us feel comfortable that "knew the ropes". Even came with fun party lights that added such a beautiful ambiance to the dance floor. The Search for your DJ is Over
Robert was an amazing DJ for my wedding this past 4/20. He arrived early and set up without any problems or issues. His DJ booth setup is really awesome, with lighting! Robert was beyond outstanding!! He worked hand-in-hand with me throughout my entire experience with him! From the minute I put my request out, through every day and moment, including the wedding itself...he was amazing!! Robert arrived promptly the day of the event and nailed every part of his job. Leading up to the event any question I had he would answer within minutes through email. He was the easiest vendor I hired to correspond with! Robert did every single thing I asked for! All any of my guests were talking about was Dj Prime! At one point of the evening I was at the bar and I heard my wedding guests going wild. He was break dancing and killing it!!!!!! Weddings are stressful but he made it a complete party. The dance floor was never empty !!! If I ever had any other type of party he’s the only man for the job..ever! I cannot say enough about this dj, he’s polite and super friendly. My Husband let me pick the dj and the day of the event he turned to me with a huge smile and said “ He was worth every single penny!” Robert was also very reasonably priced. He stayed within my wedding budget and was so easy to work with. Robert provided uplighting which was insanely awesome !!!! He kindly did the music for my ceremony too, which he did perfectly ! When the doors opened for my arrival, the song was at the most explosive perfect point. He knows his music and he knows how to appease to a large group of people, young and old. My guests did not stop dancing and my feet hurt in the best way the next day. You will not regret hiring him!

Amazing DJ and Photographer Experience
DJ Prime one did an excellent job on our wedding in October. We gave him and overall music vibe we wanted to have and he more than handled the challenge. With me being from California and my husband from Maryland, there were two different musical themes we wanted to capture and DJ Prime did not let us down. He kept the party going until the very end!!
He also hooked us up with a fantastic photographer Andrea. She was so professional and was able to get all of the shots that we wanted in the time that we needed. She provided experience and expertise within every pose and shot. She was creative and got shots we were not even thinking of. For post production she gave us pictures that were rich in color and clarity. We really appreciated both being a part of our special day. We will never forget it.

We were one lucky bunch
Wow where to start! I am a wedding planner and worked with Robert this past weekend unexpectedly. The brides original DJ bailed last minute due to a unforeseen emergency which left us without a DJ an hour and a half before guests were due to arrive. This sent me into panic mode because the wedding was about to begin. So without letting the bride or groom know about this, i talked with the officiant and with his help, we were able to find Robert. Robert just so happened to be passing through the area when he decided to help a bride in need. He showed up with a smile on his face ready to get work done. He literally came into this wedding blindsided but i worked with him closely to make sure all our tasks were covered. Ceremony began and he was right on top of it. The bride didnt even realize that it wasnt her original DJ because he made such a smooth quiet transition to fill that spot. When it came to reception time, we had to go over names, etc. but he literally wowed us all. He was so positive, outgoing and ready to make sure that the guests were ready for a good time. He played excellent music and had all the special songs ready to go and even got on the dancefloor with some guests and did some breakdancing which put the crowd in awe. Seriously he is the whole package and worth every cent. He was literally an angel sent to us on a day that we needed him the most. I highly recommend him and even the venue was super happy with his services. Robert, i can only HOPE to work with you again.

He was amazing to work with! I was having some timing issues with food at my venue. But, he kept the party going... and my guests didnt even notice. He saved the day, and everyone had an amazing time.

The DJ was excellent!

Awesome Awesome Awesome DJ
Robert made my wedding so peaceful and wonderful and so much fun my guests danced all night he took request played everything on my list without a problem even did a little show for my guess great dancer perfect DJ would definitely hire him again if you're reading this book him you will not be disappointed.

DJ Robert was F A B U L O U S!!!! He was like one of the family. He provided the music that everyone who attended the wedding and reception would enjoy. Once I provided the music that my husband and I wanted to incorporate on that special day, we let him have full reign of the day and ALL of our guests were happy and engergized the entire time. He was awesome in helping us pick songs from ones we picked for special moments in the ceremony and he even danced on the floor himself during the reception. THAT was awesome and our family and friends enjoyed him being there. He played all the requests from the guest and he truly wasn't a DJ, but a family member there. We appreciate you DJ Robert and everything you did to help make our day special. DMV this is your DJ for all your events. YES he comes from NJ JUST for YOU and for US. He's awesome. Can't say that enough!

Great DJ Great energy
Robert is a very professional and easy-going DJ. he was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and he made any adjustments that we asked. he danced at our request and really made the night special with his break dancing skills. The only thing I was a bit saddened by was that we paid a little extra for the walking on the clouds experience with the smoke machine and there really was no clouds or smoke at all :( i’m not sure if the machine wasn’t working or if he didn’t start it early enough but it did not give off the effect we were hoping for. Other than that we had a great experience with Robert and we would recommend him to anyone else with an upcoming wedding.

Wedding ceremony and Reception
Robert is a great guy! He worked with my budget and was flexible. He’s very professional and on time. He provided the music for my ceremony as well as the reception. He’s a nice guy to work with it. My only complaint was that I wish he played more of the songs that I wrote down for him. He ended up doing that towards the end.

Disappointed and Embarrassed
Robert was very responsive to communication in the days leading up to our event, I will give him credit for that, however, that is where the positives end for our experience with him.
We hired him to stream our wedding ceremony via Zoom and to provide audio for our ceremony as well. I sent him the script for our ceremony days in advance along with a list of songs to play.
Our contract listed our event time as 12-1 yet when I informed Robert that we would like to take some time after the ceremony to address everyone on Zoom, he stated that he only had a few minutes because he had to leave for another event.
On the day of the wedding, Robert was unable to establish an internet connection using his hotspot as we agreed upon. Luckily there was local wifi available to stream via Zoom.
The audio issues began immediately when he did not fade out the procession songs and left my husband standing at the altar for almost 2 minutes longer than necessary. Now maybe I should be explicitly told him to fade out the songs but I assumed this was standard for weddings.
As I approached the ceremony site during my procession, I noticed that Robert was set up behind the altar space and that his camera was practically behind a pole. In fact, Robert missed a song in the script because he then had to adjust the camera.
After the ceremony was over, we greeted everyone on zoom and Robert packed up. As I happened to walk by he told me that it would take a day or two for us the get the video but otherwise he did not seek us out to tell us he was leaving or anything else.
The day after the wedding we heard from multiple guests that Robert had not muted participants during the Zoom call so the participants could be heard talking over our ceremony.
After several attempts to send the video, we finally received a copy. The video was the peak of disappointment. Because of where Robert setup the camera you cannot see my husband's face or my daughter. I am also washed out by the sun for a good portion of the video.
Despite our disappointment, we attempted to give Robert the benefit of the doubt and asked why he set up where he did and what happened with the internet etc. Robert gave several excuses but ultimately refused to accept responsibility for the poor quality of service. His excuses included:
1) He was rushed for time to set up (even though he claimed to have been there over an hour before the event time)
2) He had surgery the day before (even though his contract states that he will send an alternate if not able to do the job)
3) We would have complained about something else if he had set up in another location
Robert refused to provide a refund stating that he did his job as required and that our satisfaction or lack thereof was a matter of perception.
Overall, I would not recommend this vendor.

Warning to other couples!
I hired Robert to live-stream my wedding ceremony, since most of my family couldn't travel due to COVID. Robert said he and his assistant would use 2 cameras, mix the 2 cameras' videos, live-stream via Zoom, and give us a recording afterwards. He was also to play 3 recorded songs (for walking in/out).
He arrived without an assistant, and only set up 1 camera. He played the wrong song for the wedding party procession and did not record them or the bride coming down the aisle. During the ceremony he put the camera at an angle where you could only see my back - which was blocking my bride. To make it even worse, he set up the Zoom wrong, so most of the recording was of a black screen with his Zoom icon, not the wedding. Also, you couldn't hear most of the ceremony.
After hearing complaints from my family and seeing the video (he sent it days later, after I paid him), I asked Robert about the issues. He made excuses about his assistant not showing. He did not care that he only used 1 camera, that the recording was of my back and his Zoom icon, or that we couldn't hear most of it. When I pointed out that I did not get what I paid for (2 people, 2 cameras, and a video), he ghosted me (its been 2 weeks).
I'm out the money I paid him, but more importantly: My family was not able to see my wedding and now I have no recording of my wedding. This is something I can never get back. I would NOT recommend Robert.
