The perfect glam!

Choosing Prim and Powder was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I never realized it until after the wedding, but you really spend most of the wedding day morning with hair and makeup! I couldn’t be happier that these sweet ladies were there. Not only were they INCREDIBLE at both hair and make up, but they were SO sweet and accommodating to everyone’s wishes. Each of my bridesmaids had different hairstyles, and they mastered each one! Everyone’s makeup looked like out of magazine, even my grandma’s! HIGHLY recommend these ladies. Erin & Kristen were great! They were the hair and make up team for my cousin's wedding last June and when I got engaged last August, I knew exactly who I wanted to book! They were so responsive and professional. Kristen was very open with what I wanted and didn't mind my million questions and changes. The day of, Kristen did my make up and achieved the natural and pretty look I was going for! Erin did my hair and even though I had some last minute changes, she did perfect! I loved working with Kristen and Erin. I did a makeup trial with Kristen and was really nervous because I never wear makeup and hate things going near my eyes. She made me feel comfortable and made me look beautiful. She took all of my feedback for the wedding day and gave me a look that stood out yet was very natural. I did not even feel like I was wearing makeup! I did not do a hair trial but I was extremely impressed with how the hairstyle turned out. I gave Erin a picture and she took it and ran with it. We also booked Prim and Powder for our bridal party (6 women and 3 children) and they worked with us on price. They all looked stunning! I would highly recommend Kristen and Erin!

So happy with my bridal parties hair and makeup. All the girls looked fantastic and they stayed back extra long to make sure the Houston humidity would not ruin all of their hard work!
Did I mention they agreed to travel from San Antonio to Houston when I had venue change 7 months out from my wedding so I didn't have to stress about finding someone new?? Amazing.

They do an in-depth consultation during a COMPLEMENTORY trial and execute everything perfectly. TWICE!

The Prim and Powder ladies did a FANTASTIC job! I was so happy with their work and all of the girls looked absolutely beautiful. They were very easy to work with and were a lot of fun to hang out with too. I had to reschedule my trial several times due to Hurricane Harvey and they were very accommodating. They took the photos I showed them and created something even better than the photos, several people commented that I had "Pinterest Hair and Makeup". I highly recommend them.

Deciding on hair and makeup for your wedding day can be extremely stressful! I wanted to find a company that was easy to communicate my style to, that could work efficiently on the day of, and that was fun to be around.... we found all of those things with this team! The ladies were a blast and made the whole process extremely easy. I even decided on the day of the wedding to competely change the hairstyle I was planning and they rolled with it with out a blink. She worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done and make us look our best while still making the wedding start date as well. Based on pictures and their style, I decided to try Prim & Powder first before looking any further. Not only were Kristen and Erin accommodating to my schedule, but they were also so sweet, truly listened to what I wanted, and I fell in love at my trial, making that an easy check off my list! All of my bridesmaids looked stunning, and several who have been in multiple weddings remarked that this was the best hair and makeup they've ever had done. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted all night and looked amazing in the photos, which I loved! As a bonus, Kristen and Erin are super fun to hang out with and they were very affordable compared to all of the other hair and makeup options I investigated.

I used Kristen (make up) and Erin (hair) for my April 2016 wedding in Fredericksburg and they were fabulous!! First of all, extremely sweet ladies and so fun to work with. I live in New York but had my wedding in Texas. They were super flexible with working around my schedule of when I could be in town for my trial. They have a super cute salon set up and after they heard about my crazy day, Erin came back with a glass of wine for me :) I was super nervous because I usually don't like the results when other people do my hair and make up (kind of a control freak) but the trial went really well! Because I did my trial 3 months before my wedding, I wanted to change a few things between then and my wedding day naturally. It was absolutely no problem, and Kristen even went on a little shopping trip to find me exactly what I was describing and texted me pics while she was out. On my wedding day, my hair and make up was EXACTLY what I wanted. They're really good and listening to what you want, looking at pictures you bring and then giving you exactly that (or combining a few into one). My bridal party looked incredible too! They're already a beautiful group of ladies but they were out of this world gorgeous. Anyway, I highly recommend Prim & Powder. Can't say enough good things about them!!

Kristen did an amazing job; she did my bridal makeup for my wedding and she also did all 6 of my bridesmaids. She is a great person to work with, really sweet and accommodating. She traveled to my parents’ house for a trial and did such a great job. I felt so much better after we found her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a bridal makeup artist.

I would highly recommend Prim & Power for hair and make-up! Kristen & Erin were so professional and friendly. They really put me at ease on my wedding day and made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt before! I received numerous compliments on my hair and make-up, and my photos turned out amazing because of the wonderful job they did! I have used Kristen & Erin in the past, prior to my recent wedding, so I was relieved to have them there with me on my wedding day. It was one less thing for me to worry about because I trust these ladies and know that I do not have to worry about the result (like you sometimes do with stylists you are not familiar with). This skilled team listened carefully to my concerns and, from the photographs I provided, was able to create results that were perfect. Love these girls! They're so much fun and they're great at what they do! I had the most gorgeous wedding party to begin with but man did they look like hot mommas when Erin and Kristen were finished with them! They're very much "with it" when it comes to the latest trends and looks all the girls want because they're young and "chick".
