Janice exceed all expectations with our florals!!! Our flowers emulated all of my Pinterest board dreams but BETTER. I wanted to make some changes during our in person visit and Janice was able to quickly show me how the changes would look and help me figure out what would be best for the overall vision I had. We had the pleasure of working with Janice for our flowers for our wedding on March 7th!! Janice was so helpful through designing my bouquet as well as all the arrangements for our wedding. She was very knowledgeable and understood my vision to a T and brought it to life. I went through her Instagram page and found a picture of a bouquet that I loved and she recreated it for me with the flowers that we talked about. Our goal was to have all the spring pastel colors worked into the flowers and she nailed it. Janice delivered all of the flowers, the morning of the wedding, and they held up so well! My bouquet, all the bridesmaids bouquets, my husband’s boutonniere, and the corsages were all so meticulously created and looked so good! I could not be happier with how everything turned out!! Pretty Petals took my vision for our wedding flowers and brought it to life! They were extremely responsive to email inquiries and requests for changes to our flower order. They even thought to include a remembrance bouquet for my mom (free of charge). This was a tearjerker for our guests and was an extremely memorable moment. I was told that it would be hard to find a florist under $4k. Originally they quoted me at $7k but Janice called and worked with me to get to a price I was looking for (ended up being $3k after I added extras). Not only was it a good price but they did an amazing job! Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and I am so happy that I chose them!

Stunning Flowers, Amazing Florists
Working with Pretty Petals of Charleston for my wedding was an incredible experience. I was in communication with Laura for almost a year while planning my wedding, and she helped me design my dreams into actual reality on my wedding day. It cannot go unsaid all the extra work they also did—I noticed extra flowers in several places and also the flowers they dedicated to my dog who was supposed to be the ring bearer at my wedding, I honestly lost it and am just so grateful for their kindness and warmth, as this past year has been incredibly tough for me despite it being an exciting time. Sarah was extremely helpful and helped bring my floral inspirations to life! All of our florals were beautiful. We did have the grooms floral that looked a little dainty but I was told by a friend that anemones tend to dry out in the sun so that was probably not their fault. We did have an extra boutonnière that we switched the grooms with so it worked out. Other then that everything was absolutely beautiful and we have no complaints! A floral fairytale
All I can say is WOW! I had a vision of a garden ceremony and flowers and greenery were going to be a large part of our wedding day, especially coming from a family of botanists, and PrettyPetals went above and beyond my vision! We chose Pretty Petals as our florist for our rehearsal dinner at Stars and our wedding at Old Wide Awake on 11/7/20, and I cannot recommend them enough! Janice and Sarah were not only excellent at communication, but they transformed my few emailed pictures and descriptions over the phone into my dream designs. Our wedding florals were everything I imagined and more! I gave very little to go off of besides the colors I wanted and the fact that I liked succulents. They created beautiful arrangements that blew me and the guests away. I loved that the mantlepiece florals were repurposed and moved to our sweetheart table after the ceremony. The guests were able to take home the succulents from the table garland to propagate/replant them at home. Instead of keeping my bouquet, I kept a handful of succulents as well and have them throughout our home now as a wonderful reminder of an incredibly special day. Thank you so much!

We hired Pretty Petals of Charleston for our flowers for our wedding this past September at the recommendation of our wedding planner. They were SO wonderful to work with and so flexible in terms of my never-ending changing of what I wanted :) We used them for our bouquets, our church decor, and our centerpieces and everything was marvelous. We chose hydrangeas and they were absolutely beautiful. for the centerpieces, they recommended using 3 different kinds to make the decor less monotonous and I loved it all. In order to save a bit of money, they recommended repurposing the bridesmaids bouquets to use as some of the centerpieces, which I appreciated, and which were beautiful! Compared to other companies in the area, I found them very affordable. I would recommend their services to everyone!

Sarah and the PPOC team hit it out of the park with my florals! Real flowers were a priority of mine, but I didn't want to spend several thousand dollars - PPOC was the answer! They learned quickly the vibe I was going for and provided a quote with pictures of arrangement and individual flowers & vases so you can really see that they are on the same page, and were super responsive and quick with any requested changes. I was blown away by how beautiful the bouquets turned out and the centerpieces were beyond my expectations! In order to save money, I did half of my centerpieces with floral arrangements, and half with re-purposed bridesmaid bouquets. PPOC was super supportive of this idea and provided all the votive candles and empty vases for us to make this happen! Highly recommend for your wedding or any special event!!

Pretty Petals did an amazing job with our wedding in August. 2019. From bouquets and boutonnieres to ceremony decor to table arrangements - everything was perfect. Working with Janice was such an easy process. I am not exactly creative so she took my few inspiration photos and made it my dream, but also listened to my feedback and had no problem making changes. She also was very respectful of our budget and found creative ways to meet our needs. She was also able to help with more than just flowers but also easels, laterns, etc. - made the stressful process of wedding planning even easier. Anyone who knows Janice knows she has a great personality and she is super fun to work with. You won't regret working with her or her team.

We loved working with Sarah and Janice from Pretty Petals! We planned a destination wedding to Charleston and Pretty Petals made the process so easy. I contacted them through the online form and had a reply very quickly. I was able to send them all my Pinterest ideas and they created a great proposal for us. We had a generous budget for flowers as I wanted that to be our main decorations, rather than dragging a bunch of items with us. We were able to get SO MUCH more than I would have thought, including lantern rentals and candle holders. They were flexible and squeezed us in for a personal meet-up when we did a last minute planning trip down there. They explained everything and brought up things I didn’t think about at my venue since they were familiar with it (Historic Rice Mill). They set everything up the day of and it was STUNNING! I didn’t need to worry about anything- I can’t recommend PPoC enough!

Perfect and Wonderful
My husband and I got married this past Saturday, March 23rd. Janice and Sarah are the most amazing team and created the most beautiful arrangements for our special day. All of the florals and greenery were so vibrant and stunning. They took the vision I described to them and made it come life. They made the planning process so easy and I am so thankful to have worked with them.

Sarah and Janice made my dream wedding come to life. From the moment I met them I knew we were in great hands. I sent them a pinterest board of about 50 random arrangements I liked and they sent back a layout of everything I wanted and more. It was so easy to understand and really helped me visualize what our day would look like. If you want a power team Pretty Petals is the way to go!

My Earth Day Floral DREAM
Janice and Sarah are the very best in floral in Charleston! I had an earth day wedding this past April and wanted to be true to my love of nature, the outdoors and bright floral that wasn't the "norm" for wedding floral. Janice stepped in and helped my dream come a reality, helped to design while remaining in budget and still making it look AMAZING! Big King Proteas, Lavender, Blue Iris, and more flowers galore! Not only was my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and ceremony bouquet PERFECT but Janice and Sarah also made the Carriage house at Magnolia look STUNNING with dripping Spanish moss and pops of colors to match my linens.
From the moment you meet Janice you can tell from her demeanor, her excitement, and her joy for her job are unmatched - truly my pleasure to have had her as a part of my big day!

I would give Pretty Petals 10 stars if I could. Our floral budget wasn't very large, however thanks to Janice and her lovely florists our ceremonial arch and dining tables looked like they came straight from my Pinterest board. So gorgeous! My bouquet and flower crown were also so lovely. I highly recommend Pretty Petals.

Love Pretty Petals of Charleston!
Janice and Sarah at Pretty Petals of Charleston are amazing! They were so helpful when I was first trying to understand my floral needs, and helped me come up with creative ideas to keep the overall price reasonable. I never felt "sold" or that they were trying to convince me of something that I did not feel I needed. They were SUPER responsive to all my emails over over the course of planning, and were able to adjust to all my minor details quickly and accurately!
Whats more, my wedding was postponed due to Hurricane Florence, and Janice was SO kind and worked to accommodate my new date with no hassle! When we ran into a few hiccups, she bent over backwards to make things work for us. I could not have been happier with her help and service.
Most importantly the flowers, of course, were beautiful! My bouquet was exactly what I wanted, and the bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous! I highly recommend Pretty Petals of Charleston!

I can't say enough about how beautiful the flowers were for my June 2017 wedding at the Thomas Bennett House. Janice was so easy to work with and she took my vision and ran with it. I have a collection of blue vintage glassware that I wanted to use and every other florist we talked to was not interested in working with it, but Pretty Petals just ran with it - no problems at all. Worth every single penny - and it was a great value.

This group of florists is awesome! Pretty Petals put together all the flowers for my wedding day. Janice and Sarah did such a great job of working with myself and my vision for my wedding day. They did such a great job of taking pictures I had sent and my visions for my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, table settings, and turning them into reality. I was planning a destination wedding and was only able to meet in person once. That one meeting was all they needed. They turned the venue into my picture perfect wedding day. When the flowers arrived that day, they were all absolutely beautiful and perfect. I can’t thank them enough for their hard work in helping make my fairytale wedding come to life!

Janice was so great to work with! When we met for our consultation I showed her my Pinterest ideas and knew exactly what I wanted. She sent me an invoice that included pictures of the flowers and vases she would use so I knew exactly what I was getting. She also made a smaller version of my bouquet for my bridal portraits. She also put together the flowers for my cake topper. I loved using Pretty Petals of Charleston.

We chose Pretty Petals for our September 17, 2017 wedding and could not have been more pleased. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous! The whole team was wonderful to work with in helping us achieve our desired look at our price point. Unfortunately, one of the wrist corsages completely fell apart very soon after the ceremony. We sent an email to Pretty Petals after the wedding just to give some feedback on that aspect of their product. To our surprise, they offered (without prompting!) to credit the amount for the wrist corsages back to us. If you ask me, that is the mark of a great company. I believe Pretty Petals truly values their clients. If you are looking for a florist in the Charleston area, I cannot recommend Pretty Petals more!

Thank you, Janice and Pretty Petals for making our wedding look so fabulous!! Our wedding floral and decor exceeded our expectations and we sincerely appreciate the creativity and having it all tie together. Our wedding venue at the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House in Charleston, SC was a blank slate which was transformed into a dream house filled with pops of cheerful pastel flowers, romantic greenery and Spanish moss hanging from wagon wheel chandeliers, beautiful floral centerpieces on top of the burlap runner surrounded with soft lighting. The bridal bouquet was incredibly gorgeous which to me was the icing on the cake. Our families and friends were extremely impressed with how beautiful the place looked!! Janice’s natural eye for aesthetics and ability to elevate one simple idea to another level simply amazed us!! It was a pleasure working with Janice throughout the entire wedding process starting with a simple questionnaire to the responsive inquires we had for her during the planning. We highly recommend Janice’s Pretty Petals, you will not be disappointed!! Her expertise and knowledge is invaluable!! Thank you Janice!!

Pretty Petals was very helpful and responsive to emails. We rented a wooden cross for the ceremony and they offered to design flowers for it if we were interested (we already had made décor for it). They were able to deliver, set up and pick up the cross after the event.

From our first meeting I KNEW this was the florist I wanted to use for my daughter's wedding! (after the meeting my daughter agreed) I had become skeptical in all the meetings with florists and bakers and caterers, etc...who were all about the money! Seems no one gave personal service anymore, no one listened to the bride and her vision, her budget....until Janice at Pretty Petals! She actually made suggestions to save us money ?? and save us some frustration by renting things herself, for us, without charging extra, and being responsible for pick up and delivery meant the world to us! ??
Janice came early to our venue, set out all of the table arrangements in antique vases that we had provided to her, not with only baby's breath and a bud or two for color, as we had discussed but with really pretty open pink roses and greenery. She set out the cross and beautiful columns that were rented for us with awesome alter arrangements that were much grander than we had imagined. Not only was the baby's breath garland draped beautifully on the cross, but there was also a garland around the bottom of the cross. There were flowers on the tables and bar on the terrace that we hadn't even discussed, "just because". She came prepared with extra pieces of "this &that" to use where it might be needed. And at 10pm, she returned to help pick up and pack up! Janice was an awesome "one man band", a type "A" personality that thrives on making a plain venue a place of beauty! (She also was great at rolling with the punches, as they say, because we had several last minute additions (corsages), and a few deductions (bouttonnieres), that she accomadated without a hitch!) Will definitely use her services again, and recommend to everyone we know.

Pretty Petals went above and beyond for my daughter's wedding on April 15, 2017. She helped us cut expenses without cutting one ounce of quality. She handled renting us the cross my daughter wanted for her ceremony, and even bought special columns for the arrangements that matched the wood of the cross! and didn't even charge us for them!! The table arrangements were more than I had expected, with roses added to the baby's breath....The baby's breath garland on the cross was spectacular! I can't wait for another excuse to call Janice and order flowers!!!

After getting quotes from several local florists (some with minimums in the thousands!) I was ecstatic to get an extremely reasonable quote from Janice! Pretty Petals provided me a bridal bouquet of beautiful garden roses, 4 bridesmaid babys breath and garden rose bouquets, and a groom's boutonniere for ~$200! Yes, $200! Amazing prices, amazing response times, amazing service. When my flowers were delivered right on time the day of (in vases to later drop them into at the reception *so much great value*) i could not stop smiling! And they held up all day in the July heat. Don't call or email anyone else. Just book Pretty Petals!

Janice was absolutely amazing to work with. I was so anxious to see the flowers all morning and our photographer was actually able to catch my reaction to seeing my bouquet as I was getting ready. Janice and Pretty Petals truly went above and beyond and blew my expectations out of the water. The flowers were everything I imagined and more. Her pricing was extremely affordable and she was able (and willing) to work within our budget to make our dreams come true. I had spoken with other florists in the area, some being touted as the best in the area, and I left feeling like we were not on the same page, uneasy about what the final product would be, and shocked at the extreme cost. When I met with Janice I immediately felt like she truly listened to me, tried to understand my inspiration and desires, and created a collaborative pinterest board for us to discuss. I left feeling like I really knew her, trusted her, and they she in part understood and knew me. Ultimately it showed in the final product. She also was able to work with us when our tables/layout changed and accommodated using glass insulators that my dad brought as bud vases. The whole aesthetic was put together perfectly and was finished and beautiful. We are beyond happy with how all of the flowers turned out.

Janice with Pretty Petals was amazing! At first, I had a very hard time explaining what I envisioned for the floral décor. Janice was so patient and somehow pulled out the information she needed from me to create my dream wedding scene. She was so patient and asked the right questions so we could create my vision. I was SO EXCITED when we left our meeting about the ideas she had for what I wanted. It was perfect. She understood exactly what I wanted, when I was finally able to communicate it, and had several creative and beautiful ideas for décor options that I wouldn’t have even considered or thought of. The flowers were GORGEOUS! She even helped me organize a surprise for my mom at the ceremony, where each bridesmaid has a hidden peony to hand her. It was beautiful. Also, I had 7 flower girls – I know – and Janice came up with these adorable little flower wands with matching ribbon. Something the girls would enjoy so much more and could play with all night. This was a destination wedding for us and our wedding consultant gave us several florists to interview. Janice Clayton at Pretty Petals stood out amongst the group.
She listened to our needs, had great ideas, good price point and great selections. Just as important, she was always responsive to our changes - was at the venue on time and delivered exactly what we talked about.

I loved working with Janice at Pretty Petals! I was planning my wedding all the way from Oregon and didn't have a chance to meet with vendors personally. Janice was so easy to work with via email. She's very responsive and is very flexible. I made a whole lot of changes to my order, went back and forth for advice on what to do about my arbor flowers, and each time Janice had great suggestions and worked perfectly within my budget. I received so many compliments on my bouquet, it was absolutely gorgeous. I simply gave her the link of my Pinterest wedding board and she came up with the perfect suggestions based on my pins. Janice exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of the flowers as well as the value and service.

Let me first say that Janice was fantastic. I had planned to order flowers in bulk and do it myself, but my husband convinced me to let a professional do it to save me stress and time. I found her very easy to work with. We talked about what flowers I liked, my colors, budget and theme.
I told her about a picture in her gallery I liked of an all-white bouquet. She suggested adding coral roses to match my sisters dresses and she was so right, they were gorgeous! I needed boutineers, corsages, cake flowers and table flowers, all of which were beautiful. She was very helpful with the table flowers. I had an assortment of teapots, creamer & sugar bowls, and glass bowls I wanted flowers in. We made arrangements to drop them off and I was just delighted with how everything looked. It was exactly what I wanted and the price was very reasonable. Everyone commented on how lovely everything turned out.
I highly recommend Pretty Petals, for any occasion. I'm so glad I found her, you will be too!

Janice was amazing! The flowers were beautiful, and she was so flexible. As a destination bride, she was extremely accommodating, and a superb value! Janice is AMAZING! Talk about someone who is so easy to work with. I did an all greenery wedding with her and I have to say that I was blown away with everything she did. She added so many small details to the ceremony (adding greenery to the chandeliers, aisle runners, etc.). All of her recommendations turned out incredible! I had a massive amount of dried hydrangeas that she was able to incorporate into the arrangements flawlessly. I highly recommend Janice. Her prices are extremely reasonable and her demeanor is one that will keep you calm all the way through your wedding day.

Pretty Petals did all of the flowers for my wedding and they were beautiful. The best part, was that they made it super easy to select arrangements. All I had to do was create a Pinterest page of flowers that I liked. From that, the florists were able to create something that matched my taste.

We visited at the start of my engagement and I had a very scattered Pinterest board idea of my vision for flowers- but she instantly managed to pull together the feeling of sweetness and garden-style beauty I was hoping for. Everything was very affordable- she even helped me out with ideas of how to DIY some of the flowers at our ceremony! When the flowers were delivered on the morning of our wedding- I was jumping up and down with excitement! The bouquets were definitely one of my favorite parts of our wedding day!

Beautiful flowers! the bridesmaids bouquet were a good size and my bouquet was huge! looked fabulous, even though it was a little heavy. All the flowers were so fresh and lasted all day. Janice does a great job being flexible and working within your budget. Highly recommended.

Janice is incredible. I know that because My husband and I had a difficult color to work with and she nailed it. Janice is so easy to work with, and she was so careful to make sure our bouquets had pops of red in them without looking fourth of july or valentine's day. The bouquets had an element to them that made them look a little bit wild/Southern/country, while still looking so refined and perfect. The colors were incredible, little pops of red in different shades, with lots of gorgeous secondary colors and white to balance it out. On top of that she did so many cool things that really made our decorations unique e.g. flowers adorning the handle bars of a vintage bicycle. She really took in our style and pinterest board and made it come to life. She's also got great ideas of how to extend your budget - big bouquets on some tables, cool wooden boxes of smaller bouquets on others. She even had a few left over flowers and somehow turned our plain white cake into the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. Janice clearly goes way above and beyond, she's creative, sweet, and full of great ideas.

Janice is the BEST! She was so easy to work with and very flexible in getting us exactly what we wanted - for the price we could afford. She had several pre-wedding meetings with us, and was very detailed in what she would provide on our big day. Her arrangements were beautiful and she was even able to incorporate greenery from the bride's farm as part of our decor. She was very prompt and made sure that all the details were even better than we expected. Avoid the downtown Charleston vendors and reach out to her, she is perfect!

The floral décor was spectacular, unique, and made our venue. Janice and her staff did such a wonderful job. I could not be more pleased as a mother of the bride. We received so many compliments on the arrangements and the atmosphere her décor provided at my daughters wedding and reception. One guest went back in to try to name the different flowers and could not figure out what some of them were. Absolutely not the ordinary , simply beautiful and unique. When I first emailed Pretty Petals, Janice immediately emailed me back. She asked for my Pinterest page and took all the things I loved and turned it into a quote with images. It was all so easy! When I met with her we reviewed the quote and again, she listened to exactly what I wanted and made it all perfect and easy. I was so excited to see the flowers on my wedding day. They were amazing! I had issues with another florist in the beginning, so I left and found Janice. She blew them out of the water with her responsiveness and overall service. The flowers were my favorite part of the reception, along with her vintage books, vases, and personal touches on each table. Highly, highly recommend her!
