I cannot recommend Pretty Nerdy Photography enough! This is a long one so get ready 😄. Becky and Mac and their team are amazing throughout the whole process. Their communication is transparent and timely, they work with you to make sure your specific visions come to life, and they are so fun to be around, we felt relaxed and at ease throughout the day which you can really see in our photos!
We used their services for both our engagement and wedding photography (because they are awesome and if you do photo/video package they give you a free engagement session!) and I am absolutely in love with how everything turned out! They have transparent pricing right on their page and a wide variety of packages to cater to every budget.
We loved having the engagement session first because it allowed us to gage our dynamic with Becky and how photography and editing style. From the moment she stepped out of her car for our first shoot I knew this was going to work. She was so fun and engaging, and really helped us both relax and enjoy the day. She also is fully committed to getting the shot. The amount of times she was on the ground or perched in weird places is too many to count haha. But those shots are some of my favorite! She's always trying new things and if you let her creativity flow she will give you some really cool and really beautiful photos! It also allowed her to see what style we liked and didnt like so she could make adjustments for our wedding so those photos would come out the way we envisioned and they are perfect 💕
Mac did an amazing job for the videography as well! He wasn't up in our faces all day so I truly dont know how he got all of the shots that he did- he's a magician! I absolutely loved the highlight reel and the longer video we got. What's also amazing about them is they send you the raw unedited videos as well so you have your full ceremony documented as well as other moments throughout the night, which I will cherish forever!
Not only are the photos and video amazing but everyone at our wedding was raving about the photography team and how kind and fun and committed they were. Our nieces are very young and were getting overwhelmed and Becky knew exactly what to do to make them laugh and smile and look at the camera, which my sister in law appreciated. They were also very understanding of the limitations of some of our elder guests and were able to make them feel comfortable and not rushed, which meant so much to me.

I am a wedding officiant and recently worked a wedding with Becky. She was a wonderful photographer to work with from a vendor perspective! She was friendly and had a great collaborative energy, and was skillful in the way she moved to stay discreet as she photographed the ceremony. She captured all the special moments seamlessly. Becky is truly a great vendor to have as part of your wedding celebration, and I recommend her wholeheartedly!

Becky and her team are my go-to photographers for every single event I throw and for GOOD REASON! Becky and her team are a high class, professional, well-run team of photography machines. I got so many compliments throughout our wedding on how dedicated and on top of things Becky and her team of photographers and videographers were. They know what they are doing, and they are phenomenal at it. We got our first look photos after 2 days and my jaw dropped at the quality and beauty of the photos. Becky is ESPECIALLY good at getting big bright genuine smiles from the kids! I've been working with her for years and I still don't know how she manages it! Becky is the best photographer I know. If you need a talented, professional, dedicated, amazing photographer - she is the one for you! -

Amazing and Affordable
Becky was the photographer for my wedding on 11/11/23, and I cannot recommend her enough! She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish - attentive, communicative, and best of all fun! She has an infectious, joyous energy that comes through in all her photos. My husband and I used her 2-hour package, which turned out to be the right call for our needs. And best of all, the photos came out amazing - even two months after the wedding I find myself going back through the gallery she provided us with. Thank you so, so much Becky! -

I seriously cannot possibly do justice to the gratitude we feel for Becky and her team for handling all the imagery for our wedding.
First, because we went with a photo + video package, she included a free engagement shoot. If you’ve already done those though, no worries, she’ll also flex and do a boudoir or family shoot instead if you like.
Next, the first thing you will notice with her is that she’ll have you laughing throughout your entire shoot. Her sparkly personality makes it easy for her to get natural shots and she’s also willing to do silly and crazy things as well. Want something done *in* the water? She’s your woman. Geeky Star Wars - Lord of the Rings Crossover theme? You can bet she will both love shooting your wedding AND capture all of the minute details.
She’s also great with kids. We had a really shy ring bearer about age 4 and there were a few moments where we thought we were gonna lose him to a bit of over stimulation and she brought him back so easily by letting him think he was pushing the button for the camera and making the flash go off… very clever.
Next, she is continuing to pursue new techniques to experiment with and surrounds herself with talented people to fill out her team. These are two traits that you find with people that love their jobs, and a photographer that loves their job is bound to provide you with great results. It’s a craft for Becky, and it shows.
Hire her, you won’t regret it. -

An amazing photographer!
I cannot recommend Pretty Nerdy Photography enough! From the very first phone call, Becky was incredibly attentive to all of our needs for my wedding. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken before, and we were concerned about not knowing what to do during the engagement shoot, but Becky was able to easily coach us through natural poses that made for amazing pictures! It set the bar high for our wedding day, and every single photo was perfect. We also used this company for both photography and videography, and could not be happier with the results. The highlights video that Becky put together was amazing and combined footage with voiceovers from our ceremony and speeches. In addition to doing her job well, Becky went above and beyond when my wedding coordinator left before we could cut our cake. I went straight to Becky and told her I did not know what we would do, and she sprung into action. She carried the cake table to the floor with her second photographer, coordinated announcements with the DJ, and coached my husband and me on how to cut the cake! None of the guests even noticed that anything was amiss. If you’re in the area and in need of a photographer that truly cares about your event, this is the company for you!

We could not have been any happier with Becky. From the engagement pictures, to our wedding day, everything was seamless. Becky arrived promptly and spent time familiarizing herself with the venue in order to capture the best photographs. She has a great sense of humor and has a way of making you feel comfortable. She was even able to make our crazy/anxious pup focus for our family pictures. Becky captured all requested portraits as well as unforgettable candids that we will cherish forever. Becky went above and beyond what was asked of her. She was scheduled to leave the venue at 10:30, but as soon as she heard we were sharing a private last dance, she insisted on staying to capture the intimate moment. We are IN LOVE with our pictures and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would highly recommend Pretty Nerdy Photography. -

Exceeded every expectation!
Becky exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding. We had a LOT of planning trouble through COVID and Becky was SO good to us. She was SO flexible when we changed our date something like 4 times and completely went above and beyond on our date. We ended up with a small backyard ceremony and Becky captured every amazing moment. I was completely ‘decision’d out’ by the time we finally got to our date and the rule was I was to make no more decisions. Well, Becky took that direction Very seriously and provided the most stress free service I ever thought possible. She had previews up by the next night and I’ve never had more love on my photos, I’m completely blown away. She had us laughing from the first picture to the last. Incredible! -

Carolyn Sent on 07/28/2020Fantastic Experience with Becky of Pretty Nerdy Photography
As soon as I spoke on the phone with Becky for the first time, I immediately felt at ease. Over the course of the past year, Becky remained in touch and was flexible and supportive as we completely reimagined our summer 2020 wedding, from a ballroom to a backyard. Leading up to our wedding day, she was responsive to all of my emails and I felt reassured each time that we spoke that, in a time of many variables, we could count on Becky as our photographer.
On the day of the wedding, Becky arrived on time and jumped right in, making sure to capture every important detail as I got ready. From there, as she took photos of us as a couple, we very much appreciated that she has a natural way of helping nervous brides and grooms relax in front of the camera.
I should also mention that our wedding included our eight nieces and nephews, all under the age of eight. The thing I will remember most about Becky, and the thing that my entire family mentioned time and time again throughout the day, is how wonderful she was with the kids. From telling silly jokes to sitting down on the ground with them to chat, it is clear that Becky understands and has experience photographing children, which for us, was extremely important!
We have only seen a few teaser shots so far, but the photos are stunning! We can’t wait to see the rest. We would absolutely recommend Becky as a photographer for your wedding!
