Premier Pastry made our wedding cake and EVERYONE gave it rave reviews. We had the chocolate raspberry truffle torte and raspberry almond torte flavors and both were delicious. Multiple people came up to tell me that it was the best cake they had ever had, even the venue staff. There were a number of people who took another piece as they were leaving because it was so good. They give you a box of samples to try after your initial meeting and every single one was stellar. Not only did the cake taste delicious, but it also looked beautiful too. They can accommodate buttercream or fondant. We chose buttercream and they arranged fresh flowers on it from our florist. It looked gorgeous, I almost hated to cut into it. They were very easy to work with, even when we had to postpone a year due to covid. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this bakery. -

Premier Pastry created my dream cake! Our cake flavor was Chambord GateauIt and not only did it look amazing but it tasted amazing as well!!!! They were so accommodating and easy to work with. It smells amazing in the shop and they have so many gorgeous cake examples on display. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to everyone! -

Sonia Sent on 05/25/2018Thank you so much for making my amazing wedding cake. Everyone raved about all 5 flavors and how it was the best wedding cake ever. My grandma loved it too. She said "hey this is the same cake as my 50th wedding anniversary cake." (The choc rasp. Over 10 plus years ago) one side cake was white cake with raspberry, other side cake was carrot cake. Top layer grandma choc cake, choc praline torte cake and bottom layer is choc with raspberry. Best cake ever! Best bakery from start at tasting to the day of the wedding.

Linds Sent on 04/02/2017We initially picked another bakery - but once we tried this cake - we had to change to use Premier Pastry. The cake was AMAZING - we got so many compliments, and people asking where we got it. We had 4 layers, and some extra cake in the back - with an extra 30 servings from the number of people we had RSVP - and only had 3 extra pieces of cake at the end of the night. People went back and got more because it was so good.
The cake was butter cream frosting, and looked so beautiful. It was so perfectly decorated, it was actually better than I pictured when we discussed the decorations we wanted for our wedding.
We also added cookies on to our order - and people loved them as well. They aren't your typical, dry italian cookies - they're delicious, and beautiful.
Wedding cakes aren't "cheap" to purchase, but we found the price to be very reasonable - and when we had such great cake and cookies delivered - we knew we got a great value for our money. We had cake for 175 people (4 layer cake, with 2 extra cakes in the back) and 2 cookie trays. -

When we initially met with them, they sent us home with a box of samples...I'm telling you, we were licking our plates that night. The meeting room at the venue is stunning, and the creations they make will blow your mind. I provided them with 1 picture of what I was hoping for, and was blown away when I saw our wedding cake. They dropped the cake off at an appropriate hour, set the cake up on our cake holder, and ensured that every detail was taken care of. They even put a sugar rose on our cake knife! Every detail was perfect. Our guests are still raving about the flavors!!!!!!! Not only will you get a gorgeous work of art, but the cake will be absolutely delicious too. -

Gabriella Sent on 08/02/2015We decided right away when we met with Premier Pastry that we wanted them to be the bakery to make our wedding cake! They were so flexible on pricing, and on the size/shape/look of the cakes they offered, it was so easy to work with them. I didn't feel like I had to stick with what I discussed with them in our consultation. They also didn't make me feel like I had to spend a ton of money to be worth their time. We chose the Raspberry Chambord Gateau, and it was so delicious! Our guests loved it, and it was so fresh and smooth tasting. Just amazing flavor! We ordered cake for 90 guests, and we had the perfect amount with 110 guests that ended up attending. We had a small amount of cake left over, plus the top layer that we saved for us. -

Stephanie Sent on 02/12/2011I do believe that every single person at my wedding came up to me after to tell me how delicious our cake was.... that they usually hate wedding cake, but this was unbelievable. We chose the Fresh Strawberry Torte and it was it everything I had hoped for. Most people will tell you the one thing they didn't get to do at their wedding was eat their cake. Let me tell you, I was so enamored with ours I made it a point to sit and eat mine, even with people trying to pull me away from it! Thank you so much Phillip and Premier Pastry! -

Monica Sent on 12/16/2008Phillipe the owner was wonderful. He gave us 8 full size slices of some of his different cake flavors to take home to taste after our first meeting (I suggest making an appointment so he can have some ready). And every single one was a slice of heaven, it was so difficult to choose because all of them were sooo good! We worked with him to incorporate our wedding colors of cream, chocolate brown, and tiffany blue into the cake, and it turned out wonderfully. I wish I could attach a picture to my review of the cake because it was so pretty. We ended up going with 2 layers of the cake in the the rasberry chambord gateau, and the other 2 layers in the mocha walnut torte. The cake was such a hit, that we think some people took 2 slices, so there wasn't a single piece left and if it wasn't for the reception manager setting aside a few slices for us, we probably wouldn't have tasted mcuh of the cake that night. So the only thing I'd recommend is going with a cake size a little bigger than your total guests. We also had him make us some cookie trays to include in the dessert table, which also turned out well. My sister also worked with Phillipe to make chocolate and carrot cupcakes for my bridal shower, and he decorated the tops with hydrangea flowers in fondant that turned out so beautifully and the cupcakes tasted so good. They were truly gourmet cupcakes! -

I can't express how pleased I was with Premier Pastry for supplying a wedding cake and pastries for us on our wedding day.
Here is a list of how Premier Pastry helped us:
- We contacted them 2-3 months before our wedding date and they were able to fit us into their schedule.
- They provided to us wedding cake samples for us to take home to decide on a flavor. Made it easy to cake taste at our own time.
- Guided us through the wedding cake design process so we and Premier Pastry were on the same page.
- They (mostly working with Philip) have been professional and courteous.
- Cost was reasonable for what Premier Pastry provided to us and their support.
- They delivered the cake to the venue and everyone raved about the raspberry almond torte and mocha walnut torte (I enjoyed the golden buttercream and liked having this as an option for those that wanted a standard buttercream flavor)
Their service was perfect for us and would recommend them or use them for future orders.

Megan Sent on 10/30/2012We had a hard time finding a bakery in our local area that had high quality cakes and pastries at a reasonable price. My Mother-In-Law suggested we check out Premier Pastry because she had heard wonderful things about them from her co-workers. After exchanging a few emails discussing the logistics of a 4 tier cake and 30 dozen pastries traveling 3 hours by car... I felt comfortable in knowing that they were going to do their best to make sure everything went off without a hitch....and then I tasted their cakes. I honestly cannot describe how moist, delicious, flavorful and just incredible everything tasted It was hard to pick our favorite... so we picked 2! I would highly recommend Premier Pastry and hope to meet them personally the next time we are in Rochester.
