  Dave was amazing! He listened to what my husband and I wanted on our special day. He delivered the best service. He over exceeded our expectations. We would definitely refer him to anyone.

  DJ Dave was easy to work with. Very Outgoing and full of ideas. Met with us once in person to go over plans and was always available via email, text or phone calls/Skype. He was super knowledgeable in helping us choose the music for our grand entrances at the ceremony and the reception. The day of the wedding he was a great MC. He was great at reading the crowd and choosing the music to keep them all dancing the night away. I heard nothing but good things about the dj from our guest. Note: I had to do this review again because I made a mistake in the number of stars given somehow and I couldn't correct the review. the reviews should have all been 5 stars. We were very happy with all his services. Thanks Dave!

  Our Event was a Charity Fund Raiser at the Richmond Elk's Lodge in El Sobrante. It was called "Nostalgia Night" and therefore we had music of the 40's, 50's, & 60's. It was Awesome and Dave did a amazing job of reading the people and knowing what they were in the mood to dance to.
  
  As the crowd cleared and only us 50 year olds were left, he switched to some great Rock'n music from our younger days! Awesome job can't wait to have him back for another event!

  Dave did an excelent job keeping the party going late into the night. This was actually a 20 year high school reunion. I would definately recommend his services to anyone.

  I knew the minute I booked my daughter's wedding with Dave that he would be the perfect fit for a joyous, heartfelt wedding. Dave is professional, organized and an amazing person. We were honored to have him come to the wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the music he played. Everyone commented on what a great person and DJ he was.

  The music was perfect for the occasion and they played the type of music that we asked for. The sound quality was really good. The DJ was professional and very personable as well! Would recommend them any time!

  Dave was a pleasure to work with, he was our DJ this past Saturday at our wedding and did a fantastic job! Dave called me well in advance to discuss our wedding and responded quickly to any questions or requests.
  
  Dave played all the songs I had requested plus everyone else's request and we got tons of compliments from our guests. We were worried that we would end up with a DJ that was overbearing or would try to run the show but Dave was perfect. He made announcements when we needed him to and kept us on track with time without being the star of the show. We really appreciate your work Dave and we will definitely recommend you!

  Dave Brown has a great service with a very reasonable price and you never know how important a DJ is until you have a bad one. They are amazing and PROFESSIONAL. Me and my wife have been to friends weddings where they have friends DJ or DJ's off the street and we didn't want to put our guests through that awkward experience. These people set the tone for everything. Dave Brown is legit, the only suggestion I marked is a faster response. I couldn't reach him on the phone the first try but he did respond to my e-mail within 48 hours as promised.

  Save yourself the frustration, stress, and headache and do not book DJ Dave Brown (AKA Premier DJ Service) for your wedding. For this once-in-a-lifetime moment you want a true experienced professional. While on the surface, DJ Dave may appear to be a professional, he is far from that. After speaking with DJ Dave several times before our wedding, we felt confident that he would do a great job at our wedding. Unfortunately, we were fooled by his seemingly professional demeanor. DJ Dave offers a very appealing price and wedding package. Trust me when I say it is worth the extra money to have someone who is a true professional with the experience and expertise needed to provide quality wedding DJ and sound services. I have summarized below how he ruined our wedding:
  
  1. He lacks professionalism: He showed up an hour late for our wedding, ran into technical difficulties with the power at the venue and did not have sufficient time for a sound check.
  2. He lacks sufficient expertise to operate or utilize a sound system:
  a. Despite being asked several times before the wedding if having the officiant use a lapel mic and having my husband's father to sing a song during the wedding with a handheld mic would cause any interference issues (which he assured us would not be a problem), there was a ton of interference. Furthermore, instead of cutting off the sound when he could not fix the interference, he just kept the sound on and literally ruined this special moment. We could not hear my husband's father at all. His sound system continued to malfunction during the wedding. During the cake cutting and toasts, the interference continued.
  3. He is not thorough or detailed-oriented: During our recessional he played the wrong song.
  4. He does not know how to read a crowd: He continued to play music that did not bring people to dance floor. We heard from our close friends things like, " I wanted to get up and dance but the DJ was so bad"

  David was terrible! He did not have any of our music ready including the bridal march. He said to send him emails (3 sent) never checked them and complained about playing only country music. STAY AWAY FROM DAVE!!!! He is worthless and lacks any form of professionalism.

  I'm sorry you feel I was horrible, and you were so dissatisfied with my service; especially after telling me what a great job I did at the end of the night, as did many of your guest.
  
  After receiving your event review and feedback, which was very disturbing to me, I started doing some research, in an attempt to make any sense of this situation, and to try to figure out where this went wrong, and why you guys were so unhappy and spiteful, for no reason in my opinion. I started on time, I had your two ceremony songs and the pre ceremony song Summer Bossa.
  Anyway, what I found was just what I thought. I did everything that I was supposed to do, just as I was supposed to do it. Even the Photographer, that I've worked with in the past commented
  on what a good job I was doing. (Although her opinion doesn't really matter, your's does)
  
  I'm sure you weren't expecting me to still have EVERY EMAIL communication between the three of us, but, I am very thorough, I dot my I's and cross my T's . As I stated in my previous email, I am available for clients any day, any time, via Phone, Text or Email, and I have online reviews that reflect that.

  Please explain if you choose to.
  
  And I wonder why you waited a month to complain if the service was so horrible!!!
