Wedding Videography

Mathew was great to work with. Friendly and fun. Was able to book with him super last minute when I realized I really wanted video of my wedding. He worked with our budget and went above and beyond, capturing many shots I would not have ever even thought of, especially with how hectic everything is on your wedding day. So glad to have this memory of my wedding! I would absolutely recommend!

Above and beyond!!

The value for the amount spent was 100% worth it. They were incredibly attentive, understood my vision to a tee, and ensured that vision was captured. Communication was great, and their attention to detail was professional and intentional. The photos are BEAUTIFUL and the videos captured everything important, including things I hadn’t even thought of. The amount of thought, care, and detail that went in to editing the material is evident. All around wonderful job!

Spectacular Day

The professionalism was top notch and the value was excellent as we had photo's & video. Pictures were taken at wedding & at a park after wedding. Video was taken of the wedding and we are very happy we have a video to look back on.

Helped make the perfect day a forever memory!

I would recommend Prelude to anyone and everyone! We received an engagement/wedding package at the Today's Bride CLE show for an absolute steal, and they did a fantastic job at our engagement shoot and wedding day. Neither my husband nor I are "photo people" and were anxious just thinking about doing the engagement shoot. Unsurprisingly, we had a blast and both sets of photos are perfect. We received tons of compliments from guests at the wedding and Joe was a blast. Not to mention, how quickly you get all of your beautiful photos which is a selling point in itself. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, stop now because you found them!!!

They Made Our Wedding Memorable

Go with Prelude!

Joe and Matt were beyond great on our Wedding day. Very flexible, attentive to what moments were most important for us to capture and quick! We had some situations with weather and they were able to squeeze in our family photos quickly and efficiently. Joe was a hit with all the kids at the wedding. Thanks guys!

My wife and I had our wedding in October and Prelude photography was amazing. They’re super friendly and and everyone in the bridal party enjoyed having them around! The photos and wedding video were amazing, and other in our bridal party plan on booking them for their wedding.

Amazing!!!!!

Matt was the best photographer we have ever had! We got a bonus with Joe. One for Matt and one for Joe! They captured every special minute of our day! Things we missed as bride and groom! Our parents, loved ones and friends had the best time ever!

Amazing Wedding Photography and Videography

We are so happy that we chose Prelude for both photography and videography for our wedding (and engagement pictures). After doing extensive research of wedding photographers- once we met with Matt at the studio we were sold with Prelude! Matt and his team were awesome at capturing all the special moments and taking the time to make sure all our “picture requests” were done. Matt was amazing to work with, super responsive and accommodating, as well as professional! Always wanting to make sure everything was as perfect as possible! We got our pictures and smash video back within a timely manner and we were very impressed with the quality! Can’t say enough good things about them! Would highly recommend Prelude :)

Highly recommend

Highly recommend them! Shannon and Matt were awesome to work with. They made the day fun and got every photo shot we could possible want. They stay with you the whole day and do not leave until more then half your party leaves. They were able to give me everything we had asked for! I will def recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer and videographer! Our smash video turned out beautifully!

Happy Days Wedding

Prelude photography was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Marijeta our photographer kept the photos relaxed and creative. It was a very, very hot day and she came with us to take pictures outside, which was much appreciated! She stayed almost the entire night and took very memorable photos of events during our reception that we otherwise may have missed. We would highly recommend Prelude!

Great experience!

Matt, Matt and Dee were great to work with. Totally professional, got the shots we wanted, did all our special requests and had a super fast turnaround time. While watching the video, we saw a great shot of some friends and they even sent me a screen shot of it so I could pass it along. Thanks!

Beautiful Photos

Even though we had a rowdy party of groomsman, prelude did a great job with getting everyone to cooperate and take beautiful photos. Matt really listened onwhat we wanted and had some amazing ideas of his own. Our photos were ready in 2 weeks as promised and they turned out amazing.

We were so happy we chose Matt and Prelude photography to perform photography and video for our wedding! Matt and his team were so helpful and responsive before our big day. My husband and I used Prelude for all three: photobooth, photography, and videography. We were both so unbelievably happy with them. Matt did our Photography and was so great. We had 24 in the bridal party (11 on each side) and he was able to not only capture amazing moments throughout the day, but efficiently as well. Having that many people to deal with was probably tough however he was funny, fun, energetic, and overall made our day so much better. Also, our pictures were ready days later. We got back from our honeymoon and within days we had our proof book in our hand and our digital files on a flash drive. Talk about quick!!! A friend of ours went with a different photographer for his wedding in October and they still haven't received anything. Thins to think about when booking with a photographer. Shannon was our videographer and she did such a great job. We received our smash video and absolutely love it. Can't wait to see the finished product. James was our photobooth attendant. He did an awesome job as well. We received our photobooth book that night and was a great thing to look at while on the plane to our honeymoon. Overall, can't say enough about prelude. So unbelievably happy with the service provided. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know. To those reading this, definitely spend some time looking for your vendors. Reviews are everything. We love Prelude and if you need great video, photo, and photobooth I'd go with them! You won't be disappointed. Thank you for such great work and an amazing keepsake of the most important day of our lives.

We used the whole prelude crew for our wedding In July and cannot say enough good things!! Alyssa and Dee were our photographers, Matt was our videographer and they were amazing!! We had a photo booth too and everyone raved about how great he was as well! There were a couple shots we wanted specifically and they were so wonderful about reminding us and pulling us away to do so. They all helped us have a smooth stress free day! Everything turned out perfect, we love it! I will definitely be using prelude in the future and recommend to others as well!

Matt was the most amazing photographer we could have asked for. I had so many pictures I wanted and he just kept going all night. We did pictures before the ceremony and he was great at helping with the first look and had so many great ideas for poses. He didn’t give me a limited time frame of hours, he just said he will stay until he feels he had enough shots. And we got back all of our pictures in about 10 days, which I thought was great turn around time. The photos at the reception were the best I have so many great pictures of everyone dancing, I can’t stop looking at them.

We also got their photo booth and the attendant was amazing!!! She was hilarious and kept the fun going until she left. She would even pick up the kids so they could get in the picture with the adults. We decided to add the photo booth last minute but it was one of the best decisions we did. We have so many picture in the album they give you and they showed what a great time everyone had.

Mel was the best photographer ever! So personal, got along with the whole crowd amazingly, blended in, and just helped us feel relaxed and happy on our special day. People are still talking about how she appeared out of no where to help me with my shoes. Amazing service, and will recommend to friends and family in the future!

Prelude is the best. The money you pay for the services you get is a steal. They provide fun and amazing photographers and videographers. They are very personable and just show what customer service should be! They made or wedding day so special and even though we only worked with them for a short time, they showed us so much love! I met with Matt, who owns Prelude Photography when we were looking at photographers and he was kind, responsive, and excited to show us all of the options. When I called him, he always called me back as soon as he could and he negotiated with me for the extras we wanted, which was SOO helpful for our tight budget! Alyssa was our photographer on the day and I couldn't be more happy with the photos! We got them all back (over 500) in just over a week and a half and they're SOOO beautiful. She did all the pictures we requested and got some others on the spot. I hate making everyone stand around to get pictures, so we had a list and knocked them all out in 50 minutes and nobody had to stay longer than absolutely necessary getting pictures. She stayed longer than we expected and was barely seen, but got all the best moments. I highly recommend this company!!

Prelude photography was all we dreamed of and more for our wedding! We are so happy with the final products and could not be happier we chose to get the video, I would highly recommend it. It is awesome to be able to watch and hear everyone on our special day as much as we want. Matt our videographer and Alyssa our photographer, were so flexible and easy to work with. They were able to accommodate last minute changes in the day and even came on the bus with us to catch some shots! I would definitely recommend Prelude!

Our wedding was on 11/25/16 and we used Prelude for our photography and videography. When I originally met with them they were great and they showed me work they had done at other weddings and explained everything really well. They got into contact with me a couple weeks before the wedding to get all the information and to make sure they were fullfilling all our needs.

They arrived on time on the day of the wedding and were ready to begin and really just were amazing through out the entire day. They captured such beautiful pictures of our special day and at the reception you did not even know they were there and got beautiful candid shots. I would highly recommend both of their services for photography and videography! They were really great!! I will use them again in the future.

These guys are the best! I am so happy with the way my pictures turned out!! Alyssa did such a great job on our pictures. She made us feel so comfortable, and she captured the best moments of our big day even when we didn't know she was looking. Matt and Alyssa respond quickly to emails and calls, and they truly do care. I had a family member pass away a few days after the wedding. Matt was quick to email me every picture they had of him. This meant so much to us!

Prelude was everything we were looking for! Matt was easy to work with and added to the fun of the day! We had a part day videographer which i highly recommend, engagement pictures, full day photography and photobooth! All the staff was great and everything turned out awesome!

We used Prelude Photography to provide the photobooth for our wedding on July 30, 2016 and had a great experience! From the looks of the book we received after the evening ended, all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it! We have photos of guests we never imagined would step foot in a photo booth! So awesome! The book of course was included in the package. The booth was big enough to accommodate quite a few people but was very very hot inside. Minor detail. We are very pleased with Prelude Photography and would recommend them to anyone looking for a photo booth for their wedding!

I can't even put to words how happy I am that we picked Prelude. We are from out of town and found Prelude through DJ Jesse Webb. I was a little picky when it came to booking a photographer so I went through and read every review about them. THEY WERE ALL OUTSTANDING! Now that our wedding is over I know why. We got our proofs back within A WEEK and every picture was absolutely stunning! I gave him some suggestions of pictures I wanted to have and he printed them out, brought them with him and personally made sure almost all of them were executed. he threw his own personal twist on everything and I love every one! He kept us smiling and laughing the whole time! I will be back!

My husband and I just got married on 6/4/16 and prelude did our engagement photos, wedding photos, videography, and our coffee table album. Alyssa and Dee were our photographers and Matt was our videographer. Alyssa called me a week or so before the wedding asking me questions about the wedding and Matt called me a few days prior asking about music that we would like for our smash video and wedding video. Day of wedding Alyssa and Matt showed up an hour and a half before the ceremony to get photos and video of me getting ready while Dee was with my husband getting photos of him getting ready. Matt was a true gentleman without me even asking he turned his back to me while my mom got me in the dress and then Alyssa told him to turn around when I had my dress on. This meant the world to me that he had that kind of respect for someone he hardly knew. I had spoke to Alyssa about wanting some special photos for my groom but was nervous because I can be quite shy. I only provided her one pose but told her I was opened to suggestions. She came up with multiple tasteful and beautiful poses for me. When I saw those photos for the first time I cried at how beautiful she captured my bridal moment.The ceremony, family formals, and everything at the reception was beautifully captured. Another moment that truly stood out to me was going to the cemetery to pay respects to my father. All three were very quite and didn't say much as my family and I were paying our respects and soaking in that moment. They captured photos and video of us that I had no clue they were even taking. Matt had our smash video to us five days after the wedding! We watched it a dozen times and cried each time because of how beautifully he captured it. Our full video was roughly an hour and a half long and was amazing. I highly recommend prelude. Make a budget for video I was so glad my husbands epic garter retrieval was captured on video! Video and photos will be around for a lifetime! Prelude is the best!

I would book Prelude for any event where I wanted quality service, phenomenal photos, and WAY less work for me! I essentially stood in place and Matt had our bridal party group around me...which I appreciated. My friends and family were raving about Matt days after the wedding and still comment on how much fun he was. We got the perfect amount of pictures, not too many, not too few. He worked with my dog, so that gains a couple brownie points for anyone!! I couldn't recommend Prelude any higher than I do now, and I will book with them in the future :)

PS. my mom absolutely LOVES all my photos and tells people how great you are all too!! #momapproved

Prelude is so awesome! We had them for our wedding and many friends of ours have had them also. We took pictures before the reception and Matt, the owner went back to the studio printed out some pictures and had them displayed on our bridal party table in time for the reception. What an awesome surprise that was! We have also used them for family pictures and I will always use them and never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Prelude!

We are extremely happy with having used Prelude. We had two photographers which was very nice. I loved Matt's unique ideas for poses/pictures that were different from your standard wedding shots. I recommended my best friend to him as well for her wedding this past October (2015) and he did an awesome job with her wedding too. He even took a few pictures of our daughter that turned out very nicely! My husband and I plan on using Prelude for future family pictures when were visiting home.

Matt did the most wonderful job capturing our special day. We were amazed he was able to get all of the images he did. Deciding between the unbelievable amount of final images for our album was pain staking. However Matt and his team stuck by us and were patient during the entire time. We chose Prelude photography because they were a part of The Wedding Showcase and worked with the DJ that we hired. I could not have chosen a better company. Alyssa photographed both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and I am beyond pleased. She was willing to take suggestions of poses that I have seen and wanted to do but also had ideas of her own. She got every single shot that I asked for and all of our pictures turned out great. When she showed up to photograph the girls getting ready she let me know she was there but was not intrusive at all. That seemed to be very standard throughout the night. She got pictures of getting ready, the ceremony, decorations, dances and guests and made sure that she let us know when she was about to leave because she wanted to make sure that she got all of the shots that we wanted. We live a few hours away from where we got married and she was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. Although they typically meet with the bride a few weeks before the wedding to get final details and discuss what shots they definitely want, Alyssa talked to me on the phone and emailed lists and pictures back and forth to save me six hours of driving. With the package that we chose, we get the rights to print all of our pictures that they give us on a USB. Since we live so far away they offered to mail it to us to save yet another trip. We also used the photo booth from Prelude photography for our reception. The guests loved the idea of it but were disappointed when they went to take pictures and the attendant was not there. We got several complaints that this happened after the fact and I am a little disappointed. However, they did get some good pictures and they make a little book for you with all of the photos that the guests took throughout the night. All in all, I would recommend Prelude Photography and I would without a doubt recommend Alyssa as a photographer.

Matt was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We first received our Smash Video and I was so blown away. It was so touching and even though it was only 4 minutes I felt like I watched the whole day. Not to mention we received A WEEK after our wedding! Not to long after, we received our wedding video and again I was left speechless. It was perfect. Matt captured our perfect day, PERFECTLY! Matt and his assistant were spot on and so organized throughout our day. I was pleasantly surprised by all the creativity and hard work that must have went into filming and editing both videos. I could not have asked anything better. We would recommend Prelude Video to anyone!

Prelude Photography went above and beyond for our wedding!!! We HIGHLY recommend their services! Matt and his staff were warm and welcoming which made us feel very comfortable during a very stressful time of planning the wedding. Prelude has great prices for priceless memories captured. We just used the photobooth from Prelude and it was so much fun! We used our photobooth as our guest book and it is such a fun way to see everyone that came to our wedding. They were even awesome and let me design our own logo for the photo strip and even though they offered a book to put the photos in, they were fine with me using my own. They were great. We booked this Studio for our wedding for many reasons, in the top of them was I have had family portrait done with them prior and my brother/and sister-in-law had their engagement photos taken here as well each with great results. They also have a great wedding showcase which is available of venues they have been to and other vendors they recommend. Using their showcase my husband and I could find the venue we decided on (we never would have found it without their help). They are friendly, helpful and professional. They also have normal working hours and can always help anyone who wander in. The photographer we had for our wedding was really skilled and was really good at setting up the picture. We had so many good pictures it was hard to choose which ones we wanted for the album. Also a great thing about their photographer is she wasn't pushy and had great recommendations. They have very reasonable prices and packaging options. I have already recommended them to my sibling and I would recommend them for anyone in Northern Ohio region.

The entire team at Prelude Photography did such an amazing job making our wedding day absolutely perfect! We had two photographers and two videographers and I remember the next day thinking I barely saw any of them... meaning they did not intrude on the party or events and were not in the way. We ended up with THOUSANDS of photos to choose from and what we believe are the coolest wedding videos ever. The photos were beautiful and our wedding album tells the awesome story that is our wedding day. While we were on our honeymoon the next week, we received a link to a short "smash video" of our wedding and were able to watch it while lying on the beach and then post to Facebook to share with friends & family. I absolutely recommend Prelude Photography to anyone looking for photography OR videography services.

As a bride I appreciate that they didn't ask me to make a ton of decisions and that they took control of they day. We chose Prelude Photography for our wedding photos after a recommendation from a friend who used the company for her wedding. We could not have been happier with our choice! The owner, Matt, was very easy to work with. Matt, as well as Alyssa, photographed our big day and they were very laid-back, yet professional. Their personalities were just what we needed to keep us calm and stress-free that day!
We were beyond thrilled with the final product. The quality of the photographs were outstanding and it was hard to choose only 200 for our album! Matt totally exceeded our expectations! He is very professional, but made me feel relaxed on my wedding day. He always seemed to be everywhere at once, to capture every moment.

What impressed me the most (besides the actual video) is his communication! He called me before my wedding to introduce himself to explain how he works and what my husband and I could expect the day of the wedding. After our wedding, Matt was always keeping me in the loop as to when our video would be ready. We picked up our DVD a few days ago and have watched it multiple times since picking up! Everyone who has watched hasn't been able to get through the video without crying! Matt captured all of our most memorable moments and I'm so thankful I'll always have this video to look back on!

We chose Prelude Photography because they worked with Quail Hollow, the venue for our wedding, all the time and came highly-recommended.

We were not disappointed. These guys are great. Matt, the owner of the studio, actually worked our wedding, along with an assistant, Alyssa. They were with us all day, from 2pm (our wedding started at 4) till about 10:30. Over 8 hours. They were extremely professional, flexible, and best of all, the majority of the night, you could not even tell they were there, yet they captured amazing shots all night long. They blended into our party so well.

They have a point system with their wedding packages and are very flexible, so you can customize it however you wish.

Our videographer, also named Matt, was also from Prelude. He was extremely friendly, courteous, and very flexible. Even though we only had him till 9pm, he stuck around till about 10:30pm, just to make sure we got all of necessary clips and interviews.

We also did a photo booth through Prelude as part of our package. It was expertly run, even in extreme weather conditions (outdoor tent wedding during a big storm). Our guests absolutely loved it and we had tons of picture strips in our album book. The props were awesome.

If you are having your wedding at Quail Hollow, these guys are an absolute necessity as a photographer(s)/videographer combo. They know the venue inside out and know all the best shots and locations.

Even if you are not at Quail, we would highly recommend Prelude for all of your photography/videography needs.

I booked Prelude Photography through the Great Lakes Mall Wedding Showcase. We had our Engagement pictures included in our wedding pictures package. We wanted our pictures taken outside, but the weather was not working out so after rescheduling twice we had to take the photos in the studio. I was not too pleased with how they turned out, but the owner Matt was willing to let us take the photos again when the weather was nicer. We finally were able to get the engagement photos done two weeks before our wedding. They turned out wonderful and Matt was great. He also was the photographer for our Wedding day. There are so many great pictures it's going to be very hard to choose what pictures will make it in the photo album. I was very pleased with the work.

We went to a baseball field for our wedding photos and they had so many great ideas for what pictures to get. They were just everything we wanted and more!!!!!! Loved them!!!!! Even with them being in Mentor and us living in Olmsted we will defiantly be visiting them again!!!!

My wife and I were (and continue to be) thoroughly impressed with the work Prelude did for our wedding. Their professionalism and quality of work was outstanding. They offered up ideas and suggestions when we were unsure, and were ready, willing, and able to do what we requested. Our photographer was Julie, who was awesome. Our videography was Matt, equally as awesome. Additionally, the staff at their store in Mentor was always very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Prelude Photography. They were always easy to get in touch with and we were very comfortable with them. Our pictures and wedding album turned out great. We went back after the wedding and had them take family photos for us too.

Prelude went above and beyond on my wedding day! Their team was very professional and didn't leave any details out. It was very comforting to know that they knew exactly what they were doing. Prelude Photography is the way to go for any of your photo needs. I used them for my wedding and I couldn’t be happier. Julie was a pleasure to work with and she captured amazing shots. I liked every single picture that she took and I’m struggling with narrowing down my photos. Julie was very personable and made everything fun. Matt shot our wedding photos and I could not have asked for a better photographer. He captured our day so perfectly and made the experience that much better. All of our products including our storybook album were AMAZING! Everyone at the studio were so pleasant and they made every visit easy. Matt and his team were amazing! They were very professional and made sure to get all the shots that we wanted on our wedding day. I loved how organized they kept things as it gets very chaotic when you are gathered with all of your family and friends. They were able to get all of our family together when we needed each person for a particular shot. We just received the draft book and all of the shots look great. We wanted more of a modern look and only a few traditional pictures. I was very pleased with the angles and overall final pictures. Matt was with us all day and made sure to stay so that he didn't miss anything at the reception. We're so excited to get our final book and to start ordering larger prints to hang in our home. I would highly recommend Matt and his team to other brides.

Absolutely awesome people and pictures!!! Matt was so professional and fun. They all got the theme of the wedding-cinderella and disney. We got the photo booth there and they made us a personalized castle header on all the photo strips and got us princess and mickey ears for props. They really made it special and the pictures look so good! I can't wait to get the book! :)

Matt and Jim did an excellent job filming our wedding ceremony. They were very responsive when making plans for the event and were flexible in making timing adjustments to the schedule. Matt put together a great final video that captured the most important parts of the ceremony. We are extremely happy with the video and Matt did an excellent job organizing and filming the various aspects of the day.

We went with Prelude for our photobooth and Eric was absolutely fantastic! He was funny, full of energy and we received so many compliments about him and all the fun props. My husband is in the Air Force and so he brought all red, white and blue items! So fun!

Matt was the utmost professional during our whole planning process. He was friendly and VERY easy to work with. I am SO glad we found and chose him to do our wedding video! Matt made our experience unique and catered to our wants and needs. The video editing is FANTASTIC and is very professional. We just received our wedding video in the mail and it's even better than we ever would have expected! Matt captured every single special moment and the video really told the story of our day. He did a great job with all of the editing - the music fit each moment, the voice overs were timed perfectly and he didn't miss a thing! Also, on our wedding day, you barely even knew he was filming, but he captured every moment still. He was very professional in our meetings leading up to our wedding as well as on our wedding day. We would highly recommend Matt as your videographer. He's worth every penny! Now we will be able to relive our wedding day whenever we want!

Prelude Photography (Great Lakes Mentor Mall) is a fantastic photography studio! Matt and Jody are completely wonderful people and amazing photographers. We were referred to prelude by our cousins who get family pictures dome at prelude every year. When comparing companies, prelude had the best packages and values for the best prices so that was why we chose them. After working with them, price is the least of my concerns! Prelude is fantastic. The service was amazing from the first time I called, all the way through picking up our CD and prints! Matt is so great at what he does and his passion for photography shows through. We got the package that included the engagement pictures, and we decided to go to the park, with our crazy dog. And Matt dealt with Izzi's craziness and captured some awesome shots! He was a trooper when we told him that we wanted to go to 5 different locations on the day of our wedding a d seemed excited to work with our families despite our warning of how crazy they are. He was always there to capture the moment and our pictures turned out great. It meant a lot when after the reception he told us how much fun he had taking pictures at our event!! I would absolutely recommend using Prelude photography

Prelude photography did an incredible job for our wedding. We had pictures taken at the church, at an outdoor site, and at the reception, and they were excellent in both arranging scenes and in catching candid moments. The 2 photographers with us that day were very friendly and contributed to the excitement of the day.
