Wow. Would definitely recommend Prasanna to capture your memories!
We met Prasanna with under two months to go until our intimate wedding, attended only by our parents and the officiant. But make no mistake: despite the small guest count, there was still much to be done.
Prasanna is thorough and thoughtful. We met multiple times before our wedding day, both to talk through logistics and to help her get to know us better. We were grateful that she truly cared about knowing us, with an earnest belief that our relationship and energy were special to the day. She felt a real obligation to capture that, which was both poetic and heartwarming.
She brought a vibrant hum of energy that was hard not to adopt yourself while preparing for the big day. And while, in our case, her role was photographer, given the intimate nature of our wedding, she took on many more responsibilities — all of them more than welcome. Prasanna helped us plan the run of show, visited our wedding site tucked among the redwoods beforehand (she happened to be nearby), and mapped out the action-packed hours as we scooted from one grove to the next.
Without her guidance, we would have skipped over some of the most precious moments, not realizing how important they would become to us later, like our first look. She created a meticulous timetable that, even for a small wedding, made the entire experience feel seamless. We’re so grateful she shared her insights, from advising what to pack in our bags, to carving out restful solo moments along our walking route. It all helped make our day as smooth as possible and as beautifully captured as we could have hoped.
While she has an outgoing personality, on the day of our wedding she knew exactly when and how to step back and let us take the spotlight.
Above all else, Prasanna is passionate about her work, and that genuine love for what she does shows in every meeting, photo, and interaction. To say she under-promised might not be quite right, but regardless, she most certainly overdelivered.
We love the photos. The lighting among the trees was both ethereal and uniquely challenging, and she captured and edited it beautifully.

My husband and I are so glad we picked Prasanna to take out micro-wedding elopement photos in Yosemite. From our initial meeting to the sneak peeks, we have felt that Prasanna was there every step of the process and she is truly AMAZING! Her knowledge of Yosemite and bringing our wedding photo vision to life was extremely important to us. Our sneak peek photos shows her artistry and vision and we are extremely pleased with how our initial photos turned out. We can't wait to get our full gallery as we know they are also going to be beautiful. You won't be disappointed with her art. We hired Prasanna to photograph our Yosemite National Park elopement at Cathedral Beach. From the very beginning Prasanna was excellent and I knew we made the right choice. She was helpful and guided us through all of the requirements of a national park elopement and even provided a vendor guide which we used to hire other vendors. The guide even provided tips and tricks for throughout the elopement day like what to pack. Prasanna was so knowledgeable when it came to Yosemite providing all kind of insight on parking and where the lighting would be the best through out the day. This was very helpful when it came to her planning out our timeline for the day. Prasanna was so easy to work with, making us feel like we had known her for years. We received our sneak peaks within 10 days and they exceeded our expectations. Our family could not believe just how beautiful they all were. We are truly so happy we got to work with Prasanna and can’t wait to get the rest of our gallery back. -

Prasanna was absolutely incredible and went far above and beyond our expectations. She was responsive, friendly, professional, and exceptionally thorough throughout the entire process.
Leading up to the proposal, she took the time to speak with me multiple times, help coordinate details, and even visited our Half Moon Bay location a week in advance at the exact proposal time to assess lighting, sun position, and logistics. She provided a detailed aerial map showing exactly where she would be hidden and where we would be positioned, which made everything stress-free.
On the day itself, she captured the moment perfectly (she said yes!), and afterward even suggested a second nearby photo location for additional photos that turned out to be absolutely beautiful.
We couldn't be happier with the photos or the experience. Highly recommend Prasanna to anyone looking for a talented photographer who truly cares about her clients and their special moments. -

Absolutely stunning elopement photos and such a fun, positive experience
We cannot say enough great things about working with Prasanna. We planned the elopement in less than a month and she was willing to work with us on a very condensed timeline. She was personable and kind and met with us virtually prior to the ceremony to walk us through specifics, which was so appreciated.
During our planning calls, Prasanna was very prepared and flexible, ensuring we fit in as many shoot locations following the ceremony as possible. She was even kind enough to film the ceremony portion for our moms that couldn’t be there.
We spent the whole day and into the evening together, and it truly felt like having a friend along for the day! She made us feel so comfortable and took extra special care of me to ensure I was able to get to each location safely (I was 14 weeks pregnant).
And above all, the pictures absolutely blew us away. Each location was shot so beautifully and captured both us and the city of San Francisco that is so meaningful to us and our journey. Our friends said we look like we’re in a vogue photoshoot! Prasanna’s creative direction shined - from the shots in the forest with the lighting on my dress to the shots at the top of California St with cars whirring by to the most epic shot of all on the cable car (with mere seconds to jump on and get the shot!)
It’s so hard to pick a favorite! My husband was most excited about the shots at the beach at sunset. Prasanna brought lanterns as the sun was setting and it really does look like a scene from a movie! Just wow.
Lastly, she got us our sneak peek shots and ceremony video within two days of the wedding! That’s unheard of! Even with all of the extras she provided (video, quick editing turnaround), her prices are very fair and reasonable for the high quality work she provides.
We couldn’t recommend Prasanna enough and plan on hiring her again in the future! A million thanks from us for capturing the day so beautifully. -

It is so incredibly rare to find a photographer who is as talented as they are genuinely kind. Working with her was the absolute highlight of our engagement process!
Coming from a background in nature photography, she has an unbelievable eye for light and landscape that most engagement and wedding photographers simply don't have. Our photos feel dreamy and cinematic, like stills from a high-end film rather than just standard portraits. She also specializes in GIFs, which added such a fun, modern energy to our gallery.
Beyond the art, her professionalism is unmatched. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process, and even though our contract only promised 90 photos, she went above and beyond to deliver over 200 stunning shots. Everything was delivered exactly on time, and for the quality of work she provides, her pricing is an absolute steal.
What really touched me, though, was her heart. It was freezing during our shoot, and she literally lent me her owns jacket between shots to make sure I was comfortable. If you want a photographer who is technically brilliant, generous, and a total joy to be around, look no further. We cannot recommend her enough! -

SF City Hall Elopement Photo Shoot
My wife and I decided to elope at SF City Hall and found Prasanna through Yelp. She was very responsive and followed up with us during the process of us deciding on a photographer. Once we decided to move forward with Prasanna, she scheduled a consultation where she went over her packages & pricing, the different floors/settings at city hall, and gave us examples of past shoots she had done. Her consultation process was extremely thorough which I appreciated since it is a special and intimate moment being captured. She treated our day with care and covered a lot of ground the day of with us (city hall was so much bigger than we expected!). It was really helpful to have someone guide us even during the consultation that knows their way around city hall very well. Initially my wife and I wanted to go with an hour and a half shoot, however she took the time to explain why she suggested a longer shoot. We ended up moving forward with her 2.5 hour package and although it seemed like a lot of time, it was perfect to capture the spots we wanted around city hall (grand staircase, elevator shot, smaller staircases, etc.) and our civil ceremony. She got us sneak peek shots shortly after our shoot which was so nice to have. Looking forward to seeing our entire portfolio soon! -

Truly magical photography
Prasanna was an absolute dream to work with. She captured our wedding at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, with the Golden Gate Bridge as our backdrop, in the most beautiful and emotional way.
After our initial call, we knew we were in the best hands. She asked thoughtful questions we hadn’t even considered and made us feel understood and comfortable from the very start. From that point on, communication was always easy and timely, and the venue walkthrough helped us feel completely at ease and confident going into the day. By the time our wedding arrived, she felt like part of the family.
She blended in effortlessly with our guests while capturing every meaningful moment of our love story, allowing us to be fully present and simply enjoy the day. When we received our photos, we were beyond thrilled with the quality and the vision she captured — every image felt emotional, natural, and beautifully true to the day.
We are so grateful we chose her and couldn’t recommend her more.

Prasanna truly exceeded our expectations as our wedding photographer. She didn’t just capture pictures she captured the most meaningful and beautiful moments of our special day. Every photo is absolutely stunning, with a unique quality and lighting that highlights the beauty and details perfectly.
What made the experience even more special was that she was with us every step of the way, not only photographing but also helping us choose the right location and even giving us wonderful restaurant recommendations. It felt like having a guide, a friend, and an artist all in one.
