Literally one of the best things we did was book PowerStation. They were so responsive to my requests, worked with our budget, and was able to provide so many services. We used them for the sound, dj, reception, and our photographer came from there! One stop shop, literally the best

Highly recommend Alex!

We had DJ Alex for our November wedding and he was awesome! He brought enthusiasm to all of our preliminary meetings and kept the dance floor full all night! We had a relative who played the accordion, a surprise harmonica performance and short karaoke part of the night and he handled all of it gracefully and was just as excited about all these little fun parts of our wedding as we were! Couldn’t recommend a DJ more!

Outstanding

We had an outdoor tented wedding of 100ish people. DJ Frank was a dream to work with, and a highlight of the wedding. In the planning process, he (and the rest of Powerstation) communicated everything they needed from us, and associated timeline, perfectly clearly. That made it very easy to check the DJ tasks off our list whenever the time came. For admin stuff, I mostly interacted with Alex at Powerstation, and he was incredibly responsive, which was appreciated.

About a month prior to the wedding, Frank had a pre-call with us to go over planning and logistics for the ceremony and reception. We were incredibly impressed by how Frank handled this pre-wedding call - organized, professional, and intentional. He directed the call and made sure every question was geared toward what we needed and/or what he needed to make things go smoothly, and what the day of would look like. It was time well spent.

As for the day itself, Frank followed through on every single thing we discussed, which was a source of enormous comfort. In the pre-call, he previewed that throughout the ceremony/reception, he would do X, Y, and Z (e.g., hook us up with the mics pre-ceremony, check in about the volume during the dinner, make announcements, etc.) He did every single thing he said he would do, and everything we asked him to do, when he said he would do it, with no fuss. It was seamless, which is everything you could possibly want.

Cherry on top - DJ Frank absolutely killed it with the music. We gave a playlist for cocktail hour/dinner, but gave him just a loose idea of music for the dance portion, saying our sole priority was that we wanted to get people dancing. He hit it out of the park. The timing and choices were perfect, we appreciated his flexibility to take requests, and the dance floor was full the entire night so far as we could see. We've gotten so many compliments on this aspect of our wedding, and we both consider it one of the top top best parts of the day.

We cannot recommend DJ Frank enough.

Best dj ever!

DJ Jesse Chen was the most perfect choice for our wedding. Jesse was amazing from start to finish. He is professional, flexible, fun, and prepared! We had a lot of little surprises for each other that we each didn’t know about but Jesse was able to make it flow perfectly, ON THE SPOT! Jesse had made great suggestions for song choices during our preliminary meeting that we fell in love with. Jesse kept everyone and everything on track and brought all the good energy for dancing at night! The best part was, as a bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing; it all just happened and with ease it seemed. Jesse is top notch—look no further.

Everyone was on the dance floor all night!

You can't go wrong with DJ Jesse from Powetstation Events! He kept the party going, played amazing songs, and kept EVERYONE out on the dance floor for the whole wedding!!! We recommend Jesse if you're looking to keep the music flowing, looking for a fun DJ, and keep your guest dancing all night! Powerstation and DJ Jesse take the time to understand your wedding vision, music you want (or don't want), and vibes you're going for. There was NEVER an empty dance floor once the party started. Jesse was there from ceremony till the end of the night. His energetic, happy, and fun personality helped set the tone for the night. Created the vibe

PowerStation Events did a fantastic job at our wedding! We worked with Christi as our DJ and she was phenomenal. The setup was perfect and for our ceremony we were mic'ed up appropriately so everyone could hear us. Christi did fantastic working with us in-the-moment on slight shifts to the schedule, navigating all changes with ease. Her MCing was great and she was able to read the room to keep the right vibe flowing from cocktail hour to the reception through dinner into dancing. The Best of the Best

We used Powerstation for our wedding on 6-7-25 and I cannot stop smiling thinking about how perfect the day was. We hired them for DJ, Jazz Trio, and Photobooth and they were a dream to work with. Our DJ was Rich. Within the first 2 minutes of our intro call with Rich (who was simply introducing us to the team) we knew we had to have him as our DJ. He was out of this world. Despite being in our 30s, we adore older music. Rich took our vision for the entire wedding and made it even better than we could've imagined. He is a true professional.

The photobooth was a HIT, especially with our littles, and our attendant was amazing!

The Jazz Trio was our big "surprise" for our guests - little did we know we'd be as surprised as WE were. Harold Zinno and his musicians were phenomenal and made the cocktail hour feel like we had stepped back in time to the era of big band orchestras.

Powerstation is amazing. Hire them. Don't think twice. You will NOT regret it.

Best of the best!

We got married on Thursday, March 20th. Our wedding day was everything we ever dreamed of and so much more. With both of us being in the wedding industry we are no strangers to Powerstation or Chris Vagnini. They’ve always been a dream to work with, but honestly working with them from a client perspective is just on an entirely different level. Mandi and the decor team made all of our wildest dreams a reality. Their ability to see and expand upon our vision left us with a day and venue that still takes our breath away. True to form, Chris took what otherwise could have been a normal Thursday and gave us the party and the memories that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. His facilitation of our timeline and ability to work in tandem with our Event Manager left two extremely Type A industry professionals with nothing to do but enjoy themselves thoroughly. Chris, Mandi, and the crew, though it comes to no surprise to us, we still cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make this one of the best days of our lives.

October 12 Wedding

We used Powerstation and DJ Erik this past weekend for our wedding at the Burr Mansion in Fairfield. The powerstation team was professional, communicative, and organized from start to finish. On the day of, the event production team was early to set up our three separate sound systems. DJ Erik was a perfect fit for our wedding. He accommodated our requests, was in sync with our music tastes, kept a great flow to the night, and was very communicative. He coordinated all music and mics flawlessly during the ceremony, and kept us on schedule with speeches and dances during the reception. Overall, we highly recommend powerstation and DJ Erik for your event!

Amazing Experience!

Our DJ was Jesse Ledeatte and he was INCREDIBLE. We had an excellent meeting with him over the phone and he made us feel so confident going into the day. Once we actually got to the wedding, he played a huge role in making sure the ceremony went smoothly by working the microphones and also announcing that are ceremony was unplugged (No cellphones).

And of course I can't forget about the reception music! Jesse played the songs and artists we requested to tee while also incorporating other popular songs that kept people on the dance floor all night. The following day we had too many wedding guest to count come us to and say how much fun on the dance floor they had all night!! So definitely consider having powerstation and Jesse Ledeatte as your DJ, I can't recommend then enough!

Wedding 2.0💍

We loved working Powerstation! We had Frank as our DJ and Nick as our Videographer. They were great towards our guests and they wanted to capture the moments of everyone. Frank, he did an amazing job for announcing the mini games we had provided , the “Shoe Game”, and taking requests of songs from our guests. An Amazing Day!

From our initial phone call with Rich, we knew we wanted to work with him! Rich was our officiant and our DJ for our June 1st wedding and he was the perfect fit for us! We worked with him to design a ceremony that met our needs but also worked with who we were as a couple! Rich didn’t hesitate when I said I wanted a rom com moment and we were able to play music during the ceremony! Our dance floor was also filled the entire night and Rich provided great opinions when I wasn’t sure about things during the planning process. Rich and the office manager Kelsey were pleasant to work with and very responsive to emails.

Best Wedding Ever

Powerstation Events was absolutely phenomenal at my wedding! I just got married at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills on 4/12/24 and I only have rave reviews from my guests, saying that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to.

Rich G and Alex V were amazing DJs. Alex did the ceremony and cocktail hour while Rich did the reception. We had unusual requests for both of them and they handles everything amazingly.

For our ceremony, we had instrumental versions of songs from popular movies - parents walked down to the Love Theme from Attack of the Clones, my husband to be processed to Going the Distance from Rocky as he wore a boxing robe, I walked down to Pure Imagination from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. They filled in the gaps during the lead up to the ceremony because I had guests comment on how much they loved hearing themes and songs from Game of Thrones, Edward Scissorhands, etc.

For my wedding reception I had an escape room theme and asked that Rich could assist me on that. If guests put together a puzzle in their locked favor box they would get a secret message to "Tell the DJ The PassCode is Blue Harvest". If they went up to the DJ, he would then give me a special card I made that would then give them a secret message to find other secrets in the venue. I also had them go up to him for prizes if they received a scratch ticket or message that said so. Rich happily gave out these cards and prizes and my guests loved it and said they had so much fun.

I also had a secret raffle at the end of the night. Rich worked with me and the wedding coordinator on timing for this so that when I announced it on his mic the confetti cannons went off and our last fun dance song immediately played, getting the entire crowd going! It was like I was in a movie!

The entire night the dance floor was packed and I owe it to Rich for keeping everything alive and moving. He checked in with me and my husband every once in a while to make sure he was playing certain songs that we wanted. We didn't want very many slow songs but did at least request a few and he made to get the ones in that we wanted without slowing down the party too much.

Rich and the team there know exactly what they are doing and I cannot recommend them enough!

Best Night Ever

We could not be happier with Power Station Events or our amazing DJ, Jesse! He worked with us and our vision for our wedding music every step of the way. He was flexible and welcoming to any changes we wanted to make to song selection or additional games such as us doing a Photo Dash (best decision ever). We are so grateful that Jesse took our idea for a emo night vibe towards the end of the night and ran with it. We have been told from so many guests that they had the absolute best time dancing along to the music. Everyone was raving about how great Jesse was! Frank k. Is the man!

My husband and I hired Powerstation Events to DJ our wedding at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills on 12/30. Our first meeting with Jesse was amazing, he helped us get matched up with the perfect DJ for us by asking very thoughtful questions about our wedding. He helped us get matched up with Frank who is truly an amazing DJ!! He had the dance floor going all night with an incredible mix of modern and classics. I really wanted something that every guest could appreciate and Frank understood that. He went along with every request (including my very important one to only play Taylor's Version of any TS songs) and gracefully deflected my family member's absurd music requests.

Best of all was that Frank, Jesse, and the entire Powerstation team helped me pull off an incredible surprise to my husband. I had a custom processional song made and they worked with me to make sure he never suspected a thing. When the song played as I was coming down the aisle and my husband was crying/laughing in surprise, I knew that I had made the right choice in bringing on Powerstation to do our event.

Awesome Experience

We had an amazing experience with power station! Our DJ was Rich Gumpert and he was phenomenal. My husband and I are music fanatics and Rich was able to keep the vibe of the night with exactly what we wanted! He was so friendly and made the whole process seamless for us. We also had a string ensemble for the ceremony and cocktail hour through them and they were beautiful musicians. The music was the best part of our party!!

Fabulous DJ and musicians for ceremony

We had ceremony musicians and a DJ. It was easy coordinating everything with powerstation. We also used a justice of the peace through them and this too was all well-organized and straightforward.

The BEST Dj service in the area!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with DJ Chris! We loved that his dad did my parents wedding, that his been in the business for years, that he was already familiar with our venue (the madison beach hotel), and his personality was the frosting on the cake! If we wanted it Dj Chris was going to make it happen. He helped set up my cousin who was singing for our ceremony, was super enthusiastic about everything and most importantly kept our party DANCING! A Flawless Entertainment Experience

We got married in October 2022 and had DJ and Photo Booth through Powerstation. I can not recomnend them enough. Everyone you speak to is so kind and helpful. Emails are answered promptly and professionally and they work with you the entire way until your event. Our Photo Booth was a huge hit. The props and our operator were so kind. I love the scrapbook we get at the end with everyone’s picture and message. Jesse Ledeatte was our DJ. If you want your guests on the dance floor all night and high energy..Jesse is your dude. From ceremony to cocktail hour to reception Jesse had all of our favorite music going. Our guests are still talking about how amazing he was. We can’t thank you enough for making our reception into the most amazing and non stop dance party.

Wedding DJ

PowerStation is simply the best. They have a fantastic reputation in CT and have a ton of wedding experience. The entire process was extremely smooth from the first inquiry to the final prep call. Special shout-out to DJ Will. When considering a DJ, you should absolutely pick him. Wonderful wedding experience!

We had a wonderful experience using Powerstation Events for our wedding in June. We had to postpone our wedding 4 times due to Covid, and each time they were very understanding and helpful. Our DJ Chris was fantastic and had people dancing all night, we had to drag them off the dance floor! And our main photographer Heather and second photographer Rachel were so fantastic. Our photos are better than we could have hoped for, and they were truly a pleasure to work with. Thank you Powerstation!

Christi is the Best!

We utilized DJ Christi from Powerstation Events for our wedding at the Barns on Wesleyan Hills. SHE WAS AMAZING! They were very organized with payments and meetings. She gave great feedback when making decisions for our wedding day. She played to the crowd and kept people dancing all night. Would recommend Christi to everyone!

Best night ever!

We hired Powerstation events for DJ and Photobooth services at our wedding. Our DJ, Christi, was absolutely perfect. The most consistent compliment we got about our wedding was how incredible Christi was - allowing guests to converse over dinner by leaving the music at a reasonable volume, varying and mixing the songs to keep everyone on the dance floor, and keeping people of all ages entertained. We also had an incredible experience with our photobooth operator, who kept guests entertained all night and provided us with a photo book to remember the evening. We could not be happier with Powerstation, thanks so much!

Chris is amazing

Great Quality & Efficient

We used Powerstation for our DJ, Photographer, Flowers, and Photo Booth. Heather was amazing! She captured all of the photos we wanted and so quickly. Also, we received our photos about 2-3 weeks after the wedding! We were able to use a photo for our first Christmas card. I couldn’t believe the turn over rate. Frank was also great to work with. He had people on the dance floor all night long. He also played a nice mixture of Spanish music for my side of the family.
Also, they did a great job with the bridemaids bouquets and shotgun shell boutonnières!
Our contact for Powerstation was Kevin Williams. 10/10 I would recommend contacting him and utilizing his guidance.

NYE 2021 Wedding!

Jesse was so much fun to work with. He was super flexible with changes the the night of the wedding and never skipped a beat. Jesse was very professional but still knew how to still have a great time. The positive and high energy on the dance floor never waivered from the moment the dance floor opened until the last song. Our perfect wedding night came to life with help from Jesse and his team at Powerstations. Powerstations was also very easy to work with and super reliable - the whole process was organized and easy. I would highly recommend using Jesse at Powerstations for any DJ'ing needs.

Great team!

My partner and I used Powerstation for our DJ, photobooth, and flowers/decor. Christi was our DJ and we absolutely loved her! She followed our do not playlist, checked in with us ahead of time, and even helped us pick a song for cutting our cake (we were stuck!). Her energy was amazing and she helped coordinate our entrances into the reception based on the information we had provided. The photobooth was so much fun & we love the scrapbook we got at the end. We have it displayed at home to flip through when we want. The team at InBloom who helped me design the center pieces, bouquets, & flower crowns were all amazing! Sara was the person I originally spoke with on the phone in the early days of the pandemic and she was able to help me create what I was looking for based on inspiration photos I found. Then closer to the wedding Helena met with me over zoom & reviewed the design and flower look. They were all more beautiful than I had imagined, so much so that I'm preserving my bridal bouquet! All of the Lights!

The lighting that Powerstation Events provided for our wedding took our event to another level. Coupled with a fabulous band, the event became a proper disco dance party, as planned. Well-priced, and the guests very much enjoyed them.

Rockstar DJ!

My clients and I had the pleasure of working with Powerstation Events in setting us up with Ryan Roberts as our DJ! PSE does a great job of initiating the first conversations with couples to learn more about their (music) interests and what they are looking for in a DJ for the day's celebration - this is so helpful! They then narrow the options down and in this specific case, they could not have found a more perfect match for my couple to be paired with DJ RYAN ROBERTS. He was a great personality for our crowd, appreciated and enjoyed similar music - he did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the energy up the entire reception! I highly recommend PSE and Ryan Roberts - I can't wait to work with them again!

Exactly who you want to host your party!

Our wedding was June 3rd 2021 and our Master of Ceremonies was Rich Gumpert from Powerstation Events. We knew we had the right business and MC for our wedding immediately. Rich has a big personality and did an excellent job MCing our special day. He exhaustively went over our music choices, pacing, name pronunciations, and really brought a sense of calm to our beautiful but chaotic day. He was able to copy a 45 over to digital to play as a tribute, edit a song down for our first dance, and flawlessly extended our entrance song. He orchestrated the reception perfectly and had the floor packed for the entire night. He interlaced our music requests with his setlist and everyone had a great time! Rich Gumpert and Powerstation Events come with my highest recommendation! Thank you!

Great staff and experience - highly recommend

We booked Powerstation Events for our DJ and also added on a photo booth. When booking a DJ, you speak with the manager who asks what you're looking for and they make recommendations for a DJ in their group based on that. We really liked this, and got paired with Chris V. Chris put together an amazing playlist for our reception and we couldn't have been happier. We had a lot of guests tell us about how great the music was and how fun the wedding was because of it. We had a great experience working with Chris and Powerstation and we would highly recommend Chris V./Powerstation!!

Our experience with the photo booth was great as well! You can customize what your strips look like and they print copies of the strips and put them into a book for us!! This was such an unexpected and nice touch. We'd highly recommend adding this for anyone considering!!

Jenna k. Was amazing- beautiful decor!

We had Jenna K. handling our decor for our wedding at the Hillstead Museum on 8/15/21. She communicated with us every step of the way, gave us information we needed with regards to pricing and availability, and was so organized in getting everything done. She and her team organized all the furniture from set up to breakdown and the drapes they put up were BEAUTIFUL. She even went all the way out to the venue to meet with us to see the plan. Awesome DJ

We hired Rich as our DJ for our wedding - originally scheduled for June 2020 and postponed to July 2021. Working with Powerstation's music services was a breeze from the moment we contacted them. Our initial meeting was fun, thorough, and their presentations really allowed us to preview what our wedding would be like. Rich was so easy going and flexible when we decided to postpone and the transition was seamless. On our wedding day, he was happy, welcoming, and enthusiastic the whole night. He honored all of our song choices that we had given him ahead of time (and there were a lot), and worked in some last minute changes with no issue. Our guests tore up the dance floor all night and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire Rich.

BEYOND amazing experience with ALL vendors!

I cannot say enough great things about Powerstation and their vendors. Rich and Kevin were the "point people" I was originally in touch with, and they could not have been more responsive, flexible, and fantastic (we had to push back our wedding because of COVID and they made the transition so seamless for us). They set us up with the most wonderful team for our wedding day--photographer, DJ, videographer, and string trio.

Holly LoRusso, our photographer, did a beautiful job capturing our wedding. I'm someone who normally hates posing for pictures, and she made the whole experience totally painless (and even fun)--not to mention how beautifully the photos turned out.
DJ Norbs was everything you could hope for in a DJ and more. He took our song selections and general music taste into account and created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. He had everyone dancing from beginning to end, and struck the exact vibe that we wanted.
I cannot recommend Powerstation enough--they take all of the stress out of wedding planning and and REALLY deliver in every way. We were so happy with every single vendor.

They were were incredible!

We could not have asked for a better experience working with Kevin for our dj and Nicky knocked it out of the park with our seating chart! We knew we wanted to work with kevin before even picking our venue from a previous wedding we had attended and we are so glad we did! He was so fun and easy to work with! He had everyone dancing all night and his energy was contagious! Nicky also absolutely blew our mind with her seating chart! We had a brewery themed wedding and what she created was absolutely incredible, putting all the logos on the chart. It was so much more than we could have ever imagined! We also used them for our wedding video and what we got was so much more than what we could have hoped for! We have watched our highlight video probably 100 times already and it was so fun watching our ceremony and reception and seeing everyone dance the night away again! They really captured every perfect moment of the night! They all really made our day so much more magical!

Kevin is Amazing!! Must have for wedding!

We worked with Kevin in coordinating our DJ for our wedding day on 4/3/21 and he was freakin awesome throughout the entire experience. Due to some last minute changes, Kevin ended up being our DJ as well and we are so thankful for his ability to quickly pivot and prepare for our dream day. DJ Frank made our wedding great

We hired powerstation prior to the pandemic. We still pushed through and had our wedding and did have some concerns that our wedding wouldn’t be much of a party with 25 people. DJ Frank did not disappoint. He knew how to read the crowd and all of our guests were still out on the dance floor with our masks on having a great time.

Sara is the best!

Words can't express how amazing Sara from In Bloom/Powerstation is. By the end of the wedding planning process, Sara felt more like a friend than a vendor. Like many other couples, my husband and I had to change our wedding plans due to the pandemic. When we moved our venue from Connecticut to Massachusetts, I was so relieved when Sara said she would make the trip to Cape Cod. She helped me reimagine my florals to fit my new venue and literally made all of my floral dreams come true. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted in my head and Sara brought it to life. Everything was absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments on our flowers. Not only did she deliver beautiful arrangements, she also provided so much support along the way including hours on the phone making sure every detail was perfect. Planning a wedding in 2020 was no walk in the park, but Sara was such a bright light and got me excited about my changed plans. She is the best of the best!

Excellent All Around!

Powerstation was recommended to us by another couple who had used them for their wedding and we were also very impressed! The initial meeting with them to select a DJ was incredibly personalized so we only saw DJs that catered to our style and music taste. We were impressed that they had multiple backup plans-for bad weather, emergencies, sick DJs, you name it, they have it covered. We selected Christi J and she KILLED it. We had the pleasure of seeing Christi DJ two weeks in a row as our friends had selected her for their wedding the week before as well. Christi was amazing at both but she was completely in her element at ours and honestly neither of us could remember her playing a single song we didn't like. She took our suggestions, but added her own spin to it and as a result almost all of our guests were on the dance floor through the entire night. We enjoyed seeing her have fun doing it as well! They were also very flexible with us needing to add items on to our package only a few weeks before. Highly recommend Powerstation and Christi!

Loved Christi!

Powerstation Events was fantastic to work with for our wedding! From the beginning, the process was incredibly helpful and personalized - we loved getting to view videos of our DJ choices to see who was the best fit for us. We ended up selecting Christi as our DJ and she was wonderful! She worked with us ahead of the wedding to understand our style and wedding specifics, then brought it to life on our wedding day. All the ceremony and special wedding music worked perfectly, and she did a great job reading the crowd (I had no idea our family and friends would be so responsive to 90s hits!). A great overall experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Christi to other couples!

Awesome team!

We had the pleasure and privilege to work with Kevin from Powerstation. He was our main contact point for our DJ Frank. From the start, Kevin was very responsive via email and always answered all of questions promptly. During our first meet and greet with Kevin he showed us some videos and answered questions on various DJs that were available for our wedding date. We were able to choose a DJ that we felt best fit our style and Frank was our guy. Due to covid, plans ended up changing to an intimate ceremony. Kevin and Frank were able to put together a package where we could still enjoy music during our ceremony this year. We were able to customize our music choices with Frank beforehand and added in a few surprises along the way. Frank did an awesome job on our wedding day. He was always on queue with the right song at the right time. We really look forward to having Frank play at our full reception next year and coordinating with Kevin to set it up. We recommend Powerstation to anyone looking for DJ services. Since they have so many to choose from, it’s easy to find the right person for your wedding vibe.

My husband and I got married on 9/13/2020 and PowerStations was wonderful! We had to change our venue a month before our wedding and everyone from PowerStations was more than accommodating and understanding! Let's review everyone!

Dave (DJ) was amazing! He was so helpful and responded back to all of our questions and additions up until the day before our wedding! (Very quickly may I add!) We had a Zoom meeting with him the week before our wedding and he gave us a ton of suggestions and was super helpful! He was interactive with our guests and played great music! He kept us organized and we were even able to dance a bit longer than we had expected! Everyone was really happy with Dave!
Kendra (Video) She was absolutely wonderful and had a huge smile on her face the entire time! When I was feeling a bit nervous I knew I could look to Kendra for a reassuring smile! She was everywhere we were! We can't wait to see our video!
Sara (Decor) Sara was amazing!! I called her a month prior to our wedding to add on decor because we were getting married at a barn. She got my vision right away and ran with it! The team she brought out with her the day of was wonderful and they set everything up for us flawlessly! The venue looked absolutely stunning when all was said and done! Everyone commented on how beautiful everything looked!
Heather (Photographer) Heather was extremely helpful from day one! First of all we had our engagement pictures done on the coldest day of the year and she was such a trooper out there with us! She reached out to me a few times during all of COVID just to check in to see how I was doing. She was so sweet and I appreciate everything she did for us! We can't wait to see our pictures!
Powerstation Events went above and beyond anything we could have imagined! We were so stressed with having to switch our venue a month before, we they were there reassuring us that everything would be fine, and it was better than fine! Best part of the Wedding!

So, our wedding was 1/19/19, and I'm writing this review now, because I still can't get over how much we loved our decision to use Todd from Powerstation Events! His personality and enthusiasm had us hooked from the first meeting, and at our wedding, guests were dancing the whole night. Our musical selection varied from Andrea Bochelli during dinner, to Rise Against on the dance floor. To this day we still have guests comment on how much fun it was. Thank you again Todd :)

Unforgettable

We hired DJ Dave from PowerStation for our wedding in December 2019 at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills and we could not be happier with our experience working with him. Dave did an incredible job from getting to know our song preferences to coordinating the events for the day, to adding in his own personal touches throughout the night that were a huge hit with us and our guests. He had a natural feel for the crowd, played the hits and our requests in addition to doing his own remixes to make sure it all came together and flowed throughout the dancing portion of the night. Awesome to work with!

We were referred to Powerstation through The Barns at Wesleyan Hills, and through them we booked our band and a photo booth for our wedding. Everyone we worked with at Powerstation was extremely helpful and responsive. Rich was quickly able to recommend a band for us after hearing more about our music preferences. And based on his knowledge of our wedding venue, he knew what size band would work best in that space. They actually had footage of our selected band performing at our venue, so that was an awesome way to hear their sound and get a visual ahead of time. Shout out to the Jeff Tuohy Band – they were great! Jeff also acted as a DJ during our ceremony which was super convenient. We were able to chat with him ahead of the wedding so he really got a feel for the style of music we were looking for, and the overall party vibe. He did an awesome job and our guests are still raving about the music!

The photo booth was a hit with our guests – we love the resulting photo book! It’s still making us laugh – I guess that’s what you get when you set it up next to the open bar :) Powerstation also had no problem with us bringing a few of our own props as well. Stacey managed the booth for us and she was awesome to work with.

Overall we would definitely recommend working with Powerstation, we were very pleased with their services and they made our wedding day unforgettable!

Complete Satisfaction from Beginning to End

My husband and I were married on November 16th, 2019 and we used Powerstation Events for both our DJ and photography needs. Dave was our DJ, and we could not have asked for a more personable and fun individual to serve as emcee and DJ. Dave was high energy all night long, even getting down onto the dance floor to lead our guests in the Cha-Cha Slide! All throughout our details meeting and through all correspondence, Dave was attentive to our needs and listened carefully to our requests. He is also able to read the crowd well, and kept our guests dancing until the end of the night.
Our lead photographer was Kelsey, and our secondary photographer was Zac. The two worked together seamlessly, capturing our moments in an unobtrusive, natural way. As our lead photographer, Kelsey was phenomenal from start to finish. She went above and beyond for us from the beginning, always responding promptly to correspondence and answering all of our questions, and even traveled for our engagement session. Her sense of humor and friendly demeanor always made us feel comfortable and confident, and those emotions shine through in our pictures.
Overall, I am so incredibly happy that we chose Powerstation Events for our wedding. Everyone on staff is courteous, professional, organized, and efficient, which makes a world of difference for a bride and groom during a typically stressful time of planning a wedding. I would recommend Powerstation Events to anyone, without hesitation.

DJ Dave is the best!

DJ Dave is THE BEST!! Choosing our DJ was a high priority on our list because it can make or break your wedding. DJ Dave definitely made our wedding! He had people on the dance floor every minute of the night. He was very accommodating to work with. He listened to our song requests, provided guidance and made suggestions. Great Experience!

We had such a great experience working with Powerstation. They came recommended by our venue so we decided to give them a call. Our initial call was very informative and we knew right away that we wanted to book with Powerstation. The whole planning process with them was seamless and they really make everything so easy (they even send you recommended music by style for the different parts of your wedding day which was EXTREMELY helpful). We had Chris V as our DJ and during our final call a week before our wedding knew that we made a great choice. Our our wedding day, he played all of the music we loved (without actually specifying the specific songs) and we had a great time with him as our DJ! Highly recommend!

Best DJ around

We made one of the best decisions during our wedding planning process the day we hired DJ Kevin from Powerstation Events. Communicating with Powerstation was easy and informative. They gave us a link so we could watch examples of each DJ's work, which was great in finding the right fit. The day we talked with Kevin over the phone, we knew he was our guy! Powerstation provided us with documents that helped streamline the music choices and flow of the wedding. During our final meeting, we were able to discuss everything down to the little details and make any special requests. DJ Kevin was very professional, came with lots of experience, and offered great guidance for our wedding day. He is a super fun DJ who did an excellent job in helping us create our overall vision and vibe for the day! We definitely recommend DJ Kevin and Powerstation Events!

Our Dream Wedding

The most amazing floral arrangements I have ever seen! I have very little knowledge when it comes to flowers so when I decided to go with In Bloom Florals, I gave them a budget and showed some ideas on Pinterest and said "Surprise me!!". Let me tell you, I cried and was in shock when I showed up to the venue on our wedding day and saw my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquet! They were everything and more and absolutely beautiful and in addition did the centerpieces for 21 tables as well as the florals for the groomsmen and parents. The colors matched the theme of our spring wedding with whites, champagnes, blush, and beautiful greenery. I am beyond happy for choosing In Bloom Florals for my wedding!

Grady videographer

We hired Grady through power station to be our videographer. He was AMAZING and we are so happy with our video! He captured all the best moments and more. He was easy to work with, able to work well with others and made sure we had everything we needed. Grady made a highlights portion of our wedding and chose outstanding music and did beautiful editing. I would highly recommend!

Dj kevin killed it

Such a FUN wedding!

I have so many great things to share about the CT Wedding Group and The Pavilion on Crystal Lake! My husband and I had an amazing time at this wonderful and beautiful venue. Our guests were raving about how much fun they had at our reception, and how gorgeous the lake was. They enjoyed the view as the sun was setting. The guests also loved mingling outside with their drinks in front of the lake. Just a recommendation to any future brides and grooms, bring some bug spray:). All of my guests raved about the food! Our dinner choices were: maple BBQ chicken thighs, salmon, ribs, and vegetarian lasagna. All of them were delicious. The open bar was obviously a hit for everyone as well! As for the dessert, we chose JCakes cupcake company, pretzel station, and Flamin’ Donuts! The last vendor was a total dream come true. Many guests took donuts in containers to bring home! Lastly, many thanks to the CT Wedding Group for making this wedding a dream come true, and for making sure everything went according to plan. Samantha was our wedding day coordinator and we loved her! She made sure we had a drink in our hands at all times :) She did an amazing job and we couldn’t think of anyone else better than her to guide our day! The CT Wedding Group did an awesome job setting up and decorating the venue for us! We brought in some of our own décor such as table numbers and table centerpieces, but they also used some of their own décor! We really appreciate the time and effort the CT Wedding Group took into making our wedding reception look beautiful.
We chose our photographer, DJ, videographer and Photo Booth through Powerstation Events.

Best decision!

Where to begin..we used Powerstation events ( in bloom florals, DJ, Photography and hair/ makeup) for our wedding this past Friday and it was nothing short of perfect! Our flowers came out beautifully, and they matched my vision perfectly through the pictures I provided. We had Rich as our DJ and he was awesome! He worked with us for specific songs we wanted mashed together for entrances and was so energetic during the reception- he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! For photography we had Kelsey and Holly! Kelsey felt like we had known her for years! She was so friendly and made sure we had every single picture we wanted to capture our night! It Rained our wedding night but she made sure we got our outdoor pictures we had dreamed of ( even though she got a little wet)! For hair and makeup (elegant events) we had Alex and Ashley! They made sure we all looked so beautiful and look exactly how we wanted! My bridal party, mother and I loved their amazing work and were so genuinely excited to be a part of making my day so special! Overall, we could not have been happier with Powerstation as a whole and would recommend them to every couple getting married!

Powerstation has it all!

Powerstation made wedding planning easy! We hired their DJ services as well as their salon (Elegant Events Salon). Rich was our DJ and he was fantastic! Other than a few must-have songs, we just gave him some basic genres we liked and he played the best music and read the crowd so well!! He kept the dance floor busy all night!! The girls at Elegant Events were also wonderful. They truly wanted everyone to be happy with their hair and makeup and were willing to do multiple adjustments to achieve this. Not only were they great hair/makeup artists, they were also super friendly and supportive and fun to hang out with all morning. This entire team was amazing - thank you!!!!

Professional, attentive, and fun!

We booked Powerstation for our DJ and lighting services as well as a photobooth at our wedding in July and they were fantastic! We worked with Kevin to book everything and our DJ for the night was Paul. Kevin was so helpful and responsive to every email and question I had along the way. I was impressed with Powerstation's willingness to work within my budget. What makes Powerstation such a great choice for anyone planning an event, I think, is their commitment to delivering on a fantastic night no matter what comes up. I love that they use a separate crew to set up equipment so my DJ will arrive ready to get our party started and not have to spend hours in the July heat lugging in the sound system himself. I also felt reassured that Powerstation keeps a DJ on standby in case anything comes up that would prevent a booked DJ from being able to attend his event. You never want things to go wrong but knowing that they had a plan in place removed any worry from my mind. In fact, two days before the wedding we had a small issue come up when during a final review of our plans for our wedding, it looked like part of the paperwork hadn't gone through when we sent it in and they were missing some information. Just the fact that this was caught several days early gave us time to calmly find the scan of the document and get it in without it becoming a day-of problem!
Paul, our DJ for the night, was just fantastic. We got to meet with him a few weeks before the big day and go over all of our music selections. I feel like I was a bit picky about specific music I wanted played for the ceremony and Paul made it all happen flawlessly. He has a great personality and really carried our night along keeping people up and dancing and having a blast. We received so many compliments on how much fun everyone had but it was apparent to us all night long as we sang and danced all night with our family and friends. Powerstation truly delivered on such a spectacular night and I will recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone in need of any of their services!

Powerstation Events, and our DJ Kevin, are everything, and more, that you would expect from your wedding DJ. From the initial consultation over the phone, to their detailed website where you can choose from an array of DJs that you feel would would mesh best with your vibe. Me and my wife's experience with Kevin was fun, even though planning for a wedding is stressful. He made it simple, and through their planning paperwork for song choices, it made the process pretty painless. The day of the wedding, Kevin and his assistants handled everything seamlessly. The Best DJ Services

Other than playing good music and getting the party started I didn’t realize just how important a DJ is on your wedding day until my actual wedding day. The DJ keeps everything organized and makes sure your day flows perfectly. They are the right-hand to the wedding coordinator. For this reason, it so, so important to have a professional and experienced DJ who has done many weddings. We were SO lucky to have Powerstations. They were incredibly prepared and on top of everything including having back up music ready just incase something went wrong with our ceremony band, to having back up equipment, and rallying our guests and keeping our wedding moving and on time. Chris was our DJ. He was so helpful but also nailed our taste in music and played all our favorite songs (including “The Git Up” even though I know it slightly killed him inside). He read the crowd perfectly and knew when to switch it up. As a result our guests had SO much fun and the dance floor was full all the way until the end of the night. THANK YOU!!!!

Amazing party experience

We hired a Powerstation DJ and photobooth for our August 10 wedding. Our DJ, Chris V, was fantastic from start to finish. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had some obscure song requests and he played them all while balancing them out with the more popular wedding stuff. People were out on the dance floor all night!
He also worked closely with our photographer and wedding coordinator to keep us on schedule. He checked in with us a few times throughout the night, but not too many that we felt pestered. He was personable but professional and really put us at ease during an overwhelming day.
We also did a Powerstation photobooth. We chose the open-air setup so we could see people getting goofy. We got a scrapbook with the photo strips at the end of the night and a digital gallery of all the photos.
I got quotes from several area DJs/photobooths and Powerstation was comparable. They also offered a discount for booking multiple services. I would absolutely use them again.

So worth it!

Powerstation was a great company to work with for our wedding. We used them for our DJ, photographer, and photo booth. DJ Dave Salonia was an expert at keeping the night moving and getting people on the dance floor. We got a TON of compliments about how the music was the best people had ever heard at a wedding and we totally agree. Kelsey was our photographer and was such a pleasure to work with. She made us feel really comfortable and was just so nice! We also got our photos back really quickly from our engagement shoot (within 2 weeks) and were told to expect the same for our wedding shots (2-3 weeks) which was impressive. The photo booth was a great add-on as well. We were able to bring our own props and the package included a photo album created throughout the night with photos that our guests took and signed. It was a great way to reminisce about the night after the fact and get some laughs! Overall, Powerstation was a great company - very professional, talented, communicative, and organized. Highly recommended!

One word - fabulous

I am not a flower person, so when I say that I was blown away by the flowers from In Bloom for our daughter's wedding on August 3rd - it is really a statement. The bouquets, table arrangements, boutonnieres, baskets, wedding arch and flower girl crown were GORGEOUS. We were so impressed with the quality, beauty and service. Thank you so much!!

A Perfect Wedding Experience - Thanks to Powerstation

I knew of Powerstation through my role as an educator; they had sent DJs to several Junior and Senior Proms for the school at which I work, and I had acted as a class advisor or chaperone to several of those proms. They had done amazing, engaging, and extremely professional work, always listening to requests to set the right tone for the evening and getting the students involved. In short, they were great!

After getting engaged, the first and only name that jumped to mind when looking for a DJ and Photobooth was Powerstation. We had a brief meeting with Kevin Williams, who quickly helped connect us with the right DJ and meet our photobooth needs.

On the big day (and the lead-up to it), our DJ, Dave Salonia, was precise and professional. He met with us to review our paperwork precisely, and followed up several times via email to make sure that everything was just right. And, of course, as our wedding DJ, he was just what we wanted - engaging to our guests, great attention to detail, and flexible with requests for music from our guests.

Our photobooth operator, Stephanie, was also extremely helpful in getting us copies of every photo and helping our guests leave touching memories throughout the night in our take-home photobook.

Kevin, Stephanie, Dave, and the whole team behind the scenes made our big day just perfect. I couldn't recommend Powerstation more highly.

Great choice!

We loved working with Powerstation! We used them for our DJ, technical support (for pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), and for our photobooth. Chris was our DJ and he was amazing! He did an wonderful job coordinating multiple songs for our ceremony entrance as well as our reception entrance—it was so perfect! Chris was easy to work with and very professional, and helped create the perfect environment for everyone to enjoy themselves and dance the night away! We also picked the open-air photobooth for our wedding which was a HUGE hit! The attendant was excellent and even created a keepsake book of all the photos from the night for us! So much fun!!

We are very happy we chose Powerstation for our ceremony and reception DJ! The company itself is very professional easy to work with; we first reviewed our vision for the night with them and were matched with several DJ's. We chose Kevin Williams, who did an amazing job keeping the party alive all night! Music is very important to us and we were very excited to create our wedding playlists. Although we picked out many of the songs, Kevin was a great help with suggestions and opinions on what would and wouldn't work. The day of our wedding we did not have to worry about a thing when it came to the music; Kevin had everything under control for us. We also had Matt Richter on the drums playing along with the songs which added an awesome vibe to the night. We had so much fun with all of our guests and would choose these guys again and again!

Kevin was spectacular!

We hired Kevin from Power Station Events as the DJ for our wedding (both ceremony and reception) and could not be happier with our choice! Following talking with Kevin on the phone and making our decision Power Station Events sent us a packet of popular songs to help with our planning process. We had so much fun listening to the recommendations and used it to inspire us to add some additional songs to our wedding play list. Kevin assisted us with the development of our overall reception timeline and ensured us that it could be run however, we wanted it however, also offered great expertise that only comes with experience. Kevin was timely for our ceremony and the music and audio were flawless. In regards to our reception he was able to assist with tailoring our bridal party entrance music and even kept their entrance songs a secret (per our request) despite my bridesmaids best efforts to break him! Talking with Kevin we felt comfortable letting him run the show in regards to our music. We gave him some general ideas to help him get started but he was able to read the room and keep our dance floor and events moving the whole night! We could not be happier with Kevin and power station events and would highly recommend them!

Wonderful dj, photobooth and lighting

Our DJ Dave Salonia was a perfect fit to our wedding! He was energetic and got everyone on the dance floor. He played music to keep people moving all night! He joined in to group dances to show everyone the moves! He did an awesome job introducing the events throughout the night and keeping the schedule going. We also added the photobooth to our package and we weren't disappointed. Everyone loved the photobooth and we have a memorial scrapbook with all the photos and guests were able to write us notes along side their shots! We had lighting the colors of our wedding and a monogram in the middle of the dance floor!

A Night to Remember !!!!

When my now wife and I sat at the dining room table to review our invite list I started to worry about what music to play that all our guest would enjoy. This is also when my wife reminded me that most of my friends hated the music that I loved. Great now what??
At our first meeting with Power Station Events, Kevin was amazing and put most of our fears away. He’s so easy to talk to and a great listener. You can tell that he has been doing this for a long time and loves what he does. After meeting with him, we picked Charlie S to be our DJ and decided to get a jazz trio for our cocktail hour as we wanted to have a combination of live music as well as a DJ for the reception. My wife is Polish, so we wanted to play some Polish music as well as EDM which we both love. A weird combination, right? Not for Charlie! He was able to find the Polish songs and play our requests without any trouble.
On the big day, the set-up crew arrived early, put up our up lights and adjusted the color to the perfect shade of orange to match our décor, the room looked great, my wife cried when she first walked into the room! The jazz trio was AMAZING!! We received so many compliments from our guests on the trio and it was a nice change of entertainment between the cocktail hour and the reception. We even had the option of choosing which 3 instruments we wanted for the trio. We went with sax, piano, and bass which we absolutely loved.
Charlie was amazing as well. He checked in with us before our big introductions, verified the pronunciation of everyone’s names in the wedding party, and let us know the Polish bread ceremony we just added the day before to our schedule was good to go. He nailed the pronunciation of everyone’s names and trust me that some of them were rather long complicated Polish names. After nailing our first dance, Charlie guided us through the bread ceremony, narrating the event for all our guest. Throughout the evening he kept dropping songs that filled the dance floor and kept all our friends dancing. It was amazing to see groups run into the ballroom from the bar and our firepit outside when they heard a song that they HAD to dance to. My now father-in-law is disabled so my wife was worried about her dance with her dad as we were not sure if he would last for the entire song. We expressed our fear and worries with Charlie a few days before the wedding, and Charlie said he will take care of us and cut the song short if needed if he sees that dad needs a rest and that is exactly what he did. Charlie cares, PowerStation cares, and they want to make sure that you have the time of your life on your big day and everything goes perfect! We are so thankful that we entrusted Power Station Events with the honor of providing the entertainment at our Wedding.

Energetic and awesome DJ

Dave Salonia of Powerstation Events was the DJ for our wedding 6/8/19. We could not be happier we chose Dave as our DJ!! He had our guests on the dance floor the entire night! His energy is contagious and he made sure all our guests were enjoying themselves the entire time! He also diligently took his time to speak with us prior to our wedding to ensure both our ceremony and reception went as we had envisioned. He certainly made our wedding day special and we cannot thank him enough for making it one of the best days of our lives!

Kevin was a great DJ

Our DJ was Kevin Williams, and he was awesome. We picked Kevin from the list of Powerstation DJs based on who we felt would fit the feeling of our wedding the best, and Kevin nailed it perfectly. Powerstation gave us an easy questionnaire so that we could give our DJ all the information he needed, then on the day of, Kevin worked well with what was going on and our guests, and made everything, even announcements, feel natural. He and Powerstation had all of the equipment and were able to get set up smoothly and without issue. Our wedding had 80 guests, mostly aged 25-30, but some older people as well.

(We hired Powerstation as our DJ only. Even missing out on some value that we might've gotten by getting multiple services in one place, it was definitely worth it)

Absolutely perfect

I am a big flower girl..so I knew I needed a dream team to make my floral vision come to life for our big day. Boy did In Bloom exceed my expectations! I worked with Helena who was sensational! She was always there to answer video calls or emails whenever I needed her. She even knew that I wanted to change things up a bit as the day was getting closer and would not let me settle for anything less than my dream florals. If you could see my arrangements your jaw would drop! From my bridal bouquet to my floral arch and chandelier! She literally took my words of what I envisioned and made it reality. It really was immaculate. I can’t thank In Bloom enough.

Great experience

Kevin was the DJ for our wedding. He was awesome! From our initial meeting, we knew he would be a great personality for our fun, but not 'club-like' wedding. He was excited about our song choices and it showed during the night. He helped everything run smoothly and kept everyone on the dance floor--from 13 years old to 70! They also provided our uplighting, which was great! Powerstation was very easy to work with- I would definitely go with them again for another event.

Holly Martin

My wedding day was truly magical. It was hands down my most favorite day. I have so many humans to thank who contributed to this day, Holly Martin is one of them! She is truly amazing at what she does, all of our photos from the serious ones to the goofy came out wonderful and so natural. Holly was so easy to work with and I did not have to reach out once, she was always on top of everything! I highly recommend Holly as she is a 10/10!

Exactly what we wanted!

We had Frank from Powerstation for our wedding DJ on 12/28/18 and he was awesome! So friendly and very easy to work with. We provided an extensive list of songs we definitely wanted to hear during dinner and dance (100+ songs) and he put together a list that flowed and matched the vibe of the night. Frank respected our "do not play" list and also took requests from guests if they flowed with what he was playing and reflected the type of songs we had on our list. He checked in with us regarding volume which we appreciated. You can tell Frank didn't just put together a prearranged list, press play, and sit back the rest of the night - he really was working the entire night; being very attentive to how the night was progressing and in what direction he should go next for a song choice. Everyone was on the dance floor for a solid 4 hours straight which is exactly what we wanted! I absolutely recommend Frank as your wedding DJ!

Dream Florist

I got married this past September and In Bloom did our flowers. All I can say is I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful and perfect our arrangements were. I worked with Helena, who was an absolute pleasure. She paid attention to every little descriptive detail and created my dream flowers. I was really specific about what I wanted and what she came up with was actually better than I could have ever imagined. Helena was super responsive to my every email and call and truly loves what she does and works hard to give you exactly what you want. Can't recommend this Florist enough!!!

We love Kelsey!

I booked Powerstation for 3 services for my wedding at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills (photography, hair/makeup, and florals) and they all exceeded my expectations in every way! We had Kelsey as our photographer and she was particularly INCREDIBLE! We got to know Kelsey over the phone when we had our consultation and knew immediately she would be a great fit for my husband and me. We had a 1 hour engagement session with her in March where we really began to build our relationship and needless to say we loved our photos. When it came to our wedding day, Kelsey was MUCH MORE than a photographer. She was a therapist and a friend and helped keep us calm all day. She made sure we took EVERY SINGLE PHOTO that we talked about and was adaptable throughout the day when our timeline got a little tight. During our first look, my dress ended up getting a bit dirty from being outside and Kelsey got down on hand and knee and helped my bridesmaids get every speck of dirt out. I am speechless about the service she provided. Knowing that Kelsey had shot tons of weddings at the Barns helped the day flow seamlessly. I could go on and on about how fantastic she was :)...BOOK HER!

Truly Care about Clients and Excellent Attention to Detail

In Bloom Florals did an absolutely incredible job with both the florals and decor for my wedding. I was very specific with my vision and color pallet, and admittedly had very high expectations... I didn't think it possible, but the In Bloom team managed to EXCEED my expectations and dreams. I worked directly with Sara Kekacs, who was an excellent partner beginning to end (and every phone call in between!)... Sara was helpful and honest with me when I needed help fine-tuning my vision, and really spent the time getting to know me so she could best deliver. I HIGHLY recommend working with the In Bloom team for your wedding... you will be amazed not only by their professionalism, but also their attention to detail, experience, and most importantly how much they care about their clients.

Charlie is the absolute best!

I cannot say enough about what a great job Charlie did as the DJ at our wedding. The music that was played throughout the night was exactly our taste and after dinner had everyone on the dance floor. Charlie was also really helpful in deciding our schedule and timing of the night. He made the recommendation to move things around due to the timing of dinner to play a specially requested song and it worked out perfectly, I’m so glad that he was able to facilitate so that we could add that in smoothly to the events of the night. I have also received endless compliments from our guests about how awesome he was and everyone was blown away that he had walked around to personally introduce himself to different tables and made sure everyone was enjoying the music selection. Charlie was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with at our wedding.
