I was so happy that I chose Julian as my wedding DJ. Julian embodies the spirit of a true DJ and I loved the way he mixed the music I chose with his DJ style. ⭐️It made for such a fun experience ⭐️Since the very beginning Julian has been detailed, patient, helpful, and informative. He made sure to follow up and ensure that everything came out perfect. He didn’t just DJ, but wore many hats during the event to make sure that our day was perfect. Our destination wedding
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, the communication was excellent, making the entire planning process stress-free. He did an incredible job with the setups, providing perfect sound for our outdoor ceremony and a fantastic energy for the indoor reception. What really stood out was their professionalism and ability to read the room. He played a wonderful variety of music that kept both our English and Spanish-speaking guests on the dance floor all night long. Venessa was our MC for the night and she was able to provide English and Spanish translation when announcing the wedding party, first dances, and the toast. I also recommend her as an addition if you are planning on doing a destination wedding in Puerto Rico!

We booked Julián for our March wedding in Casa de España, and immediately, he was responsive and incredibly easy to work with. He was one of the earliest vendors to set up on the day of the wedding. He handled the audio and music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception—everything went perfectly. At one point, we asked Julián to make a modification to the playlist mid-set, and he adjusted really well. It was nice to have a receptive and talented DJ. He had some leftover props from a previous wedding that he allowed us to use free of charge, which was thoughtful of him. The lighting and smoke machine were also really fun. All in all, we had a great experience with Julián. -

DJ Power Sounds provided us with an incredible night of dancing and fun at our wedding! We had our wedding at Hacienda Campo Rico where the reception area is quite a large dance hall and were afraid that the music would not be loud enough or might be drowned out by the space, but DJ Power Sounds proved that worry to be unfounded. The sound was perfect for the occasion, the music was fun to keep both our latino and english-speaking guests on their feet all night, and myself and my husband didn't sit down once after dinner because we were having so much fun and such a great time dancing. We highly recommend DJ Power Sounds! -

Great music, great energy, great vibes
Amazing DJ and great guy all around. Our wedding had a mix of African American and Hispanic families, and he did an incredible job blending everything — R&B, hip-hop, reggaeton, salsa — todo. The dance floor stayed full all night, which is not easy with a mixed crowd, but he nailed it.
He was super friendly, easy to work with, and very open to our suggestions. We sent him specific tracks we wanted and if he didn’t know one, we just shared a link and he made it happen.
Great energy, great vibes, and very professional. He also offers different packages from just DJing to full lighting setups depending on what you need.
Highly recommend if you want a DJ that knows how to read the room and keep the vibes going all night. -

Julian was very flexible to work with our budget. We provided him with the music we wanted played during the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception and he played that. Some of our songs weren’t being played at the very end of the night but after speaking with him, we were able to play some other songs that satisfied the crowd for the rest of the night. Very punctual and would recommend to have him play at your Wedding too!! Thank you for everything Julian and we hope to be back!! -

Best DJ for our day! Mejor DJ para nuestro día!
If you want a great time and a DJ who will make your wedding, a true dance party, look no further. Julian and the DJ Powersound Team were able to incorporate, not only my love of salsa, merengue, and some good old school perreo, but also some great English language hits for our out-of-town guests. He also worked with our Pleneros at the end of the night to make our Hora Loca a true hit! He took pictures and videos of our special day and sent them immediately for us to enjoy. Great experience!

A Julián me lo recomendó el salón donde tuve mi boda y no me decepcionó! El es super atento, amable, profesional, flexible y responsable. No importa el día o la hora que le escribiera el estaba disponible. Su servicio fue bien interactivo con los invitados. Los invitaros bailaron con sus videos también cantaron en el karaoke. Era una boda interracial con muchos de los invitados siendo mayores de edad. Mi mayor preocupación era que nadie bailara pero gracias a la selección de música todos las pasaron bien. También tocó una canción sorpresa al final de la noche. En fin, si buscas a un DJ que no decepcione, Julián es tu mejor opción. -

If you're looking for the best sound and lighting for your wedding on the island, look no further. Julian's experience in the sound and lighting world really shows. We are from Alaska and got married at Casa de España in San Juan, and Power Sound DJs turned our reception into a nightclub straight out of Ibiza. We ended up having one of our own friends Dj our wedding (we traded services for his wedding soon after) and hired PowerSound DJs for sound and lighting. As a dj myself, I can tell you that I was blown away. Julian did an amazing job setting up, programming lights, testing, and even gave us some extras. My Dj friend said he was the best one he'd ever worked with. And for the price, he delivers quality! What a real experience this was and what a dream of a reception we had, thanks to Julian! When I get back to the island to visit, I'm going to visit Julian for dinner and drinks. A great friend and a seriously talented person with everything you need to make your wedding a dream!! -

Julian was the Dj of my son wedding. We had a guest that ranged from kids to seniors and he was able to keep everyone dancing. He mixed styles ati create a good balance. He provided uplighting and the cold sparklers.

Truly made the atmosphere of our reception
This was the DJ for our wedding and he did a fantastic job. His setup included some lights and made the reception space inviting even without a dancefloor. Muy profesional, excelente comunicación y equipo. Lo contratamos para nuestra boda, con cabina iluminada, luces decorativas para el salon, chispas frías y neblina baja. Hizo que la boda pareciera un sueño, las luces le dieron un cambio radical al salon.
En cuanto a la música y los mixes quedaron espectaculares, se adapta a lo que le pidan, pero incluye a todos tus invitados, en mi fiesta desde el más joven al más viejito bailo toda la noche!
Recomendado a ojos cerrados.

Julian and Pedro were THE BEST DJS EVER!!! Seriously look no further if you are seeing this and they are available for your wedding, BOOK NOW! I provided a list of music that we enjoyed and Julian was extremely patient with me as I was putting it together. The music that we liked plus extras that kept the party going were mixed together so professionally, it was phenomenal!!! We heard music from a few weddings before and after ours but none compared to Power Sound DJs.
Our ceremony went so smoothly with the song I wanted to walk down to, and our fun recessional song was perfect.
Everyone had something wonderful to say about the music, and our guests danced all night long! There was always someone on the dance floor, we just had a blast! Best night of my life! Thank you!!!! -

My wife and I hired PowerSound for our 60-ish guest wedding in Old San Juan. There was a small hiccup with our first dance song, but other than that it was great. Pedro, was bilingual which was helpful since we had a lot of American guests. He also took all kinds of requests and kept the party going. PowerSound DJs offered us a great price and quality of service and even included a lot of extra lights in the budget. Would highly recommend. -

Julian impressed us from day one with his attentiveness to communication and responding to our questions in a timely manner. After seeing his work online, I was excited to have him DJ our wedding as it was a mix of guests from Puerto Rico and from the states. We really wanted someone who understood we needed different kinds of music and boy did he deliver. Julian was a phenomenal DJ! He knew how to mix music and transition songs seamlessly. Our guests were dancing ALL NIGHT LONG which was the best thing we could have given them. I highly recommend powersound DJ for any event and only hope I can be invited to a wedding he may be DJing at in the future. Thank you, Julian! -

Our wedding coordinator only recommended Julian to be our wedding DJ and she was correct. There was no need to consider anyone else because he is the BEST! Julián is very professional, flexible, and accommodating. Our playlist was exactly what we asked for. Our family and friends did not stop dancing the whole night. My coordinator referred me to Power Sound DJ's (Julian) and I am glad she did, he did a great job. The day of the wedding he was in a car accident and still managed to get to venue with plenty of time to set up and prepare for ceremony. I call that dedication and time management. Very professional and played music off of our requested play list and kept the party dancing. His set up with uplighting, illuminated booth and lights were perfect. We love the service Julián gave us in our wedding. He played exactly what we asked him. I love 80’s music and he played all my favorite hits from that time. He created a mood fun but classy. He also cooperated witn the ambience of the wedding putting lights and effects that make the place colorful and magical. The price is excellent for all the work and effort he did in the wedding.
