We can’t say enough amazing things about PowerPlay Entertainment! From our very first conversation, John Pitone—founder and owner—was top notch. He’s not only incredibly professional and organized, but also a truly wonderful person who made the entire wedding planning process an absolute breeze. His guidance and support meant so much to us during such an important time.
And then there’s Phil—our DJ extraordinaire! He absolutely made our wedding day and reception unforgettable. The energy, the music, the flow—everything was perfect. He knew exactly how to keep the party going and had everyone on the dance floor all night long!
PowerPlay Entertainment exceeded all of our expectations, and we’re so thankful not only for the amazing service but also for the genuine friendships we’ve built with this incredible team. Both of our DJ's and the Photo Booth were absolutely amazing! All of the prep work leading up to the wedding was straightforward and simple through their portal. The wedding day was amazing, they were able to seamlessly incorporate everything we wanted while reading the room to enhance the dancing and engagement with the guests. I would recommend them 100%. -

Everyone at our wedding said the music was AMAZING!! Our dance floor was packed all night long because the music was fantastic. A huge shout out goes to DJ John for creating the best vibes and energy for our guests! We also LOVED the roaming Photo Booth they offered!! The Photo Booth came to guests versus the guests always having to go to the Photo Booth!! My husband & I were extremely happy with the services they offered and how communicative, prompt, and detailed-oriented Dj John was throughout the entire process! -

We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us.
Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John.
John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. Both were ready to make sure we had everything we needed for the entire day and were professional with how they handled everything.
At the end of the day, John kept everything going smoothly from the ceremony to the reception, he was a great emcee, played everything we wanted to hear, and most importantly he kept everyone dancing all night long. John does everything he can to ensure he can serve you how you want on your special day. I would highly recommend John, Guy, and Power Play Entertainment as a whole. -

We had the PERFECT wedding day with Phil from Power Play Entertainment as our Emcee/DJ from ceremony to reception! The communication with PPE is spot on, with timely responses to questions and guidance all along the way. The portal they have to plan the different aspects of your event is incredible, and makes the planning process a breeze with their attention to detail and step-by-step coordination call. We had a live guitarist at our cocktail hour which was a wonderful addition! We truly appreciated them being so professional, especially as we had to pivot the ceremony at the last minute due to the rain. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how much fun it was to dance the night away! We cannot recommend Power Play Entertainment highly enough, they will make your wedding a dream! -

I couldn’t recommend this company enough! Everything about our experience was top notch. John communicated with us numerous times and set us up with DJ Phil for our engagement party. That was a hit and we knew we needed him for our wedding.
DJ Phil did an outstanding job helping us organize our wedding playlists. From the processional to the very last song. He is amazing and passionate about his work. All of the guests at both of our events danced and loved the music! He did a phenomenal job incorporating popular songs, dance songs and our favorite style EDM so all of our guests enjoyed it. Additionally, the visual dance floor effects and up lighting was a nice touch as well. -

DJ John was an incredible person to work with. From the ease of communication (answered all my emails and texts in a timely manner) to his sense of humor, how well he connected with my now husband and myself, I would recommend him and Power Play Entertainment to anyone looking to have the best party at their next event! I instantly felt comfortable with DJ John, and his online portal made it so easy to give him all the info he needed and submit all my must have song requests. So many thanks for the PPE team for keeping the dance floor packed all night!! -

DJ Pitone took our eclectic playlist and expertly mashed it into a 2.5 hour dance party. Our wedding reception dance floor was never empty. And he knew how to weave in songs our aunt and uncles would dance to later in the night, as opposed to just playing oldies in the beginning. Leading up to our wedding, dj john was communicative and always available to talk through questions and plans. He was open to last minute changes that we had, from speech order to the venue not being able to have a fog machine inside. He and Guy were excited about our Halloween/Gothic theme and suggested the perfect music when we needed suggestions. We were open to a Halloween “set” and they didn’t make it tacky. He was very good at reading the room and the spread of age groups we had ready to party.
John and Guy surprised us with video highlight reel of our reception that was so thoughtful and touching. We didn’t have a videographer so having a three minute video of our friends and family celebrating us was so special. Would recommend PPE to anyone looking to have a party that won’t quit.
