Delightful December Wedding
The Powder Mill Barn was the best venue for our wedding. The string lights and lighting backdrop made for the perfect Christmas wedding. Polly, the owner, was so responsive and helped to make our wedding day one to remember forever. The barn was cozy and allowed for the intimate wedding we dreamed of. The barn allowed us to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same room. Our day was better than we could ever dreamed of! We’d recommend the Powder Mill Barn for anyone looking for a rustic wedding experience!! -

Me and my now husband didn’t want your average ballroom wedding venue, we wanted something unique. Powder mill barn is just that and more! It’s absolutely gorgeous inside, and the outdoor property is also stunning! It truly gives you a magical, dreamy feeling and all my guests were blown away and said they’ve never been to a wedding like ours! We had a perfect day!

We recently got married at the Powder mill barn. We rented the barn for 2 days so we had time to set up and run our rehearsal. The owner, Polly, is very flexible, accommodating and easily reachable!! The rental cost is reasonable, the grounds are gorgeous; we did an outdoor ceremony and indoor seating/band for the reception. We wanted food trucks and there was plenty of space for them to set up. Inside the barn is so cozy and charming!! The wood, the lights, everything was perfect! Definitely would recommend this venue ! -

Wedding May 14th 2022
The barn is absolutely beautiful and well kept. Polly (the owner) and Megan (wedding coordinator), we’re always quick to answer questions and we’re extremely helpful. We had no worries about the day because they were so well at organizing everything!

P e r f e c t i o n!
I really wish we were able to rate 100 stars!! Polly, Megan (day of coordinator) as well as the other vendors we had were absolutely PHENOMENAL. Polly was patient, kind and an all around wonderful human being. Polly was extremely responsive and willing to work with us with any questions/comments/concerns we had. She bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and enjoyed the venue. The venue itself can sell itself but Polly makes those personal connections that make it so much better and worth it!
We can not recommend the Barn enough and will be booking for future events no questions asked!!! Thank you Polly and Rich for making our special day even more special! ❤️❤️ -

Responsive, professional and reliable
Polly from Powder Mill Barn is a very professional and friendly person to deal with when planning. The barn looks amazing and is very well maintained. We walked in to check it out for our wedding and were amazed on how pretty and clean the barn and the property was. There were many of the what I call fairy lights dangling throughout the barn and a beautiful backdrop with the lights. We fell in love with the place and booked it right away. Throughout our wedding process she was always quick to respond to any questions. There is an arch on the property near the stream you can decorate for gorgeous pictures. We were married October 23 2021 and it was breathtaking.
If you want the mystical/barn theme please check this place out. It's amazing.

My fiance and I were looking all around CT and NH for barn venues. I came across Powder Mill Barn and thought it was absolutely adorable. My fiance and I just got married on September 18, 2021. The barn was absolutely beautiful. Polly (who owns the barn) was a pleasure to work with. She also suggested a wedding coordinator for the day of that has done weddings at the barn before. Megan, from Atlantic Party Flavors, was absolutely amazing and so helpful. Polly was extremely flexible with letting me set up for my wedding and stopping by the barn multiple times prior to the wedding to get ideas. The barn has many tables and chairs, a kitchen, and benches for you to use. The barn has a beautiful outdoor ceremony spot and a beautiful inside for a reception. I am so pleased with my experience at Powder Mill Barn. We had Bear's catering come serve food buffet style. The food was absolutely delicious and the woman in charge of catering, Sydney, was so pleasant and helpful. We used Bartending CT for our open bar. The company even sent an additional bartender to make sure everything went smoothly. The bartenders were extremely nice. We used Collins Entertainment and DJ Elio was the most amazing DJ I have ever seen/heard. He pumped up the crowd and made sure to play all of the music my fiance and I, and our guests, wanted to hear.
Overall, I am so incredible grateful for my wedding experience at the Powder Mill Barn and would suggest this venue to anyone looking to get married at a beautiful, rustic space!

This place is beautiful and rustic perfect for any barn wedding.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
We had our wedding at Powder Mill Barn in October of 2019 and it was perfect. We loved that the barn wasnt cookie cutter, and we were able to decorate and design the seating and decorations how we wanted. Both the ceremony and reception were held inside of the barn although there is property in the back to have an out door ceremony. There is plenty of parking and easy access for your dj/food vendor. We loved that the barn is located conveniently near the highway and hotels, as well as various restaurants which made the weekend much easier for our out of town guests. If you are looking for a rustic wedding, this facility was perfect for us and hope that you consider making your lifetime memories there as well! -

I attended my friend's wedding. I had never been there before. How gorgeous it is inside! I loved the rustic scenery with the fairy lights. My friend and his bride recited their vows and after we all celebrated. What a beautiful experience for them. Everything inside and out was perfect. I totally reccomend a wedding here. -

The barn was absolutely perfect for our special day. We were able to decorate it exactly as we wanted and it was very affordable. Working with Polly was a delight through every step of the way. She was helpful and responsive during the planning process. The barn was stunning after we finished decorating and everyone complimented the venue. I would recommend the barn to anyone that wants a rustic theme and wants to see their dreams come true. There was plenty of space for all of our guests and the outside ceremony was exactly what we wantedPowder Mill Barn's reply:

Rustic elegance
When I got married in September 2018 I was looking for a venue that was rustic and beautiful with a gorgeous place to get married outside. The Powder Mill Barn delivered on everything I was looking for. Not only that, but the owner was wonderful and very accommodating and the price was affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a amazing place to have an event or wedding, but who isn't looking to pay an outrageous price. My wedding was better than I had even dreamed because of The Powder Mill Barn. -

We were one of the first weddings at this venue before they really started doing weddings. I love how much they spruced up the place since we got married there in 2017. We loved the barn and the field for our wedding. We wanted a backyard wedding feel and absolutely got it with this venue. We still have people raving about our wedding and the location! -
