We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our special day! Portraits By Sean provided us with associate photographer, Matt, for the entire day. He was not only incredibly talented behind the camera, but he had a special knack for making us feel at ease, resulting in natural and stunning photos that our entire family will cherish for years to come. We were married on February 24, 2024, and exactly 8 days later Sean sent us hundreds of beautifully polished photos. Thank you for your incredible attention to detail, professionalism, and gentle demeanor that resulted in such a memorable experience for all of us! -

Sean was extremely professional and I couldn't be happier with him as my wedding photographer. He set up some great unique shots for the party, and stayed over an hour longer than our agreement and captured some great moments at the end of reception that would have been missed if he didn't stay, so was very happy he took it upon himself to stick around. 100% would recommend to anyone! -

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Sean. From the moment we contacted him, he was professional, warm, and dedicated to creating an amazing experience for his clients. I am normally very camera shy, but Sean was so easy to work with that he put me at ease immediately. And as a cherry on top, he sent our photos back within the week!
When we were choosing wedding photographers, we wanted someone whose work would transport us back to our wedding day. His photos captured the small, intimate moments that we will treasure most about the happiest day of our lives- the laughs as the wedding party prepared together, the moment my father saw me in my dress for the first time, the roller coaster of emotions as we read our vows to each other, the rowdy dancing at the end of the night. I can look at a picture and remember exactly how I felt at that moment.

The Aviary
Portraits by Sean was our photographer for our November 2022 wedding. He was incredible. He called us prior to booking and just talked about us as a couple and what we envisioned for our wedding. He stayed in contact with us in the months leading up to the wedding as well. We was super nice when we met him and attentive to us. He was very organized. He also was very reasonably priced in comparison to other Pittsburgh photographers we looked into. The photos turned out more gorgeous than we could have imagined. He really utilized the space around The Aviary. He is highly recommended by us for sure!!! -

I can not recommend Sean enough! He was friendly, professional, communicative, and fun from the moment we first connected to discuss our wedding. He took the time to get to know me, my fiance, and our vision for the wedding before we even signed a contract. It's clear he's passionate about capturing the memories beyond simply nice photos. We had a unique wedding weekend and Sean worked with us to create a package that made sense for us. Once the weekend came, every single one of our guests told us how great our photographer was! The bridal party loved working with him as much as we did. He was a delight to work with and willing to go with the flow the entire time. I would hire him again without question. We received our photos so promptly after the wedding too and every single one was perfection! He captured our day, the feelings, the people, all beautifully. If you want a stress free photographer experience, with photos that will blow your mind, you must work with Sean!
