Unforgettable thanks to them
Sean and his associates (we had Joe and Brandon) made our wedding day even better than I thought! He and His team was thoughtful, brought up great ideas even up till the day of and really gave me 1 less worry as a bride. They ran through the snow, dealt with the crazy family, and made it feel like they were part of the wedding not just there. We had compliments all day for how attentive and proffessional they were from distant family to and definitely from immediate. I notice they didnt just take the pictures they made SURE they got a good one before moving the spot. We got them back in record time and it capurtured the day so well I cried relooking. For how quick the day went I am beyond thankful I trusted them to capture these moments forever. -

This Man Has Talent
Sean gave us an incredible experience with stunning results. He was punctual, professional, and gave very clear instructions for his shoots. He also was very excited to be a part of the process and involved in our special day. When it came time for the ceremony and reception, he was sure to stay out of the spotlight and took incredible pictures without us having to remember that he was there. 10/10 experience and 10/10 quality on the final photo results. We would highly recommend him for any event you may have coming up! -

Sean was excellent to work with. His level of professionalism was unmatched. He was extremely communicative throughout the process and a pleasure to work with in planning our wedding photos and on the actual day. Highly recommend portraits by Sean
From the very beginning Sean was so easy to communicate with and all throughout the whole planning process. He was very helpful with planning when he could be. The day of he showed up went straight to work. He was so kind and easy to work with. Only 2 weeks later and we have all of our photos back and could not be more happy with how they turned out. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We are very thankful for everything he did for us. -

Great images in less than ideal conditions, flexible, honest
My husband and I were from out of town and hired Sean to photograph us at a Christmas gala at the place we got married. He was accommodating to last minute changes to make the most of the session and even went above and beyond to make it happen. Upon first impression, he was upbeat and had a vision. We were outside in sub 30 degree weather with fading evening light as well as low light inside a building and he was up for the challenge. We ended up with beautiful images in less than ideal conditions and that is what makes a great photographer. Sean has a sense of humor and an eye for that perfect photograph. He was fun to work with and his heart for people and creativity shows through. Thank you Sean for capturing this time in our lives.

Our first time talking but also include that in our synopsis before our engagement pictures. When I say, he is talented, there are genuinely no words that I have for the love he captured bw me and my fiancé. My fiancé and I had every moment, every touch and kiss captured and showcase in what I consider one of the most beautiful and iconic ways. Sean made us feel as if, it was just us in a whole museum full of people. Sean is priceless and if one ever has the pleasure to work with him, believe me it’s a once in a lifetime experience. I can not recommend Sean enough! He was friendly, professional, communicative, and fun from the moment we first connected to discuss our wedding. He took the time to get to know me, my fiance, and our vision for the wedding before we even signed a contract. It's clear he's passionate about capturing the memories beyond simply nice photos. We had a unique wedding weekend and Sean worked with us to create a package that made sense for us. Once the weekend came, every single one of our guests told us how great our photographer was! The bridal party loved working with him as much as we did. He was a delight to work with and willing to go with the flow the entire time. I would hire him again without question. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Sean. From the moment we contacted him, he was professional, warm, and dedicated to creating an amazing experience for his clients. I am normally very camera shy, but Sean was so easy to work with that he put me at ease immediately. And as a cherry on top, he sent our photos back within the week!
When we were choosing wedding photographers, we wanted someone whose work would transport us back to our wedding day. His photos captured the small, intimate moments that we will treasure most about the happiest day of our lives- the laughs as the wedding party prepared together, the moment my father saw me in my dress for the first time, the roller coaster of emotions as we read our vows to each other, the rowdy dancing at the end of the night. The Aviary
Portraits by Sean was our photographer for our November 2022 wedding. He was incredible. He called us prior to booking and just talked about us as a couple and what we envisioned for our wedding. He stayed in contact with us in the months leading up to the wedding as well. We was super nice when we met him and attentive to us. He was very organized. He also was very reasonably priced in comparison to other Pittsburgh photographers we looked into. The photos turned out more gorgeous than we could have imagined. He really utilized the space around The Aviary. He is highly recommended by us for sure!!! -
