Amazing Service!

Todd and his team are amazing!! This was our second time using him for an event and honestly they never disappoint!! Booking is a breeze from start to finish, he is excellent at communicating and playing exactly what you are needing for your event! Set up was smooth, we had our DJ Do announcements and he was amazing and very professional!! overall experience was great, 10/10 recommend!!!

Great DJ Service for a Great Value

Working with Todd and Ray was a great experience. Ray was flexible with us and laid back but also professional and helped us make our day fun and enjoyable. It was nice to work with a team that didn't add any stress to our day! Could recommend this company enough. Bonus points for the name.

JT Jeffries & DJ Steven are a MUST

I hired Porta Potty DJ's (specifically Todd Thomas, JT Jeffries, and DJ Steven) for a work event, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. If you're looking for DJ / Emcee Staff for Experiential Marketing Events (brand activations) please hire them! They were great to work with, really took the time to understand our brand / footprint, kept our space engaging and fun, and much more. Can't thank / recommend them enough!

Best dj ever

I would give Porta Party DJs more stars if I could! Everything was perfect from the time we booked them. Their professionalism and timeliness responding to emails was great. They also made sure everything was ready to go for the big day, so it was one less thing we had to worry about. They had DJed two other weddings that I had been to with one of those weddings being my sister’s. They strived to make our wedding special and unique to us. We asked them to play special songs and give the guests details about different things throughout the reception, and they nailed it! Todd didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond for us, and it showed! Our guests even recognized how great Porta Part DJs was! The dance floor was packed all night, and they definitely kept the party going until the very end of the reception! We would highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!

Porta Party was the best!

Can't say enough great things about Porta Party DJs. DJ Bryant was fantastic! He met with us beforehand to go over any requests or restrictions on music. Bryant covered our ceremony, as well as our reception, and everything went so smoothly. Not only did he work with us, but he also communicated with our wedding coordinator to make sure everything was as requested. But I'd have to say, Bryant's specialty was really in reading the room and keeping our celebration going. We heard so many comments about the great music we had from our guests of all ages, including the music played during our cocktail reception and dinner. Bryant was really dialed in on the crowd, and he did a great job communicating with both my husband and I on timeline and music requests throughout the evening. We had asked him to make sure that people were up and dancing and not sitting around, and he surely made that happen. Even the payment process beforehand was easy, so don't hesitate if you're thinking about Porta Party DJs. You won't be disappointed and Bryant is our recommendation for sure. We couldn't have imagined a better night!

Todd worked with us from start to finish and did an amazing job.

Porta Party DJs did such an amazing job for us from start to finish. Not only did Todd do an excellent job communicating with us throughout the process, he did a fantastic job at our ceremony and reception. He made sure to play all of the songs that we requested and even made a special shout out to my grandma, which meant a lot to our family. The dance floor was packed the entire night! I HIGHLY recommend booking them for your next event!

Highly recommend!

We highly recommend using Porta Party DJs! We had DJ Ray Ortega at our wedding, and he kept our guests out on the dance floor until the end of the reception! We had more guests dancing than I ever thought we would!!
We had one quick planning call, then let him run with the music choices and DJ Ray absolutely nailed it.
Todd was also super helpful in the planning process and was great with communication. We rented uplighting through Porta Party and it looked perfect in our venue.
Book them for your big day!!!

Best DJ ever!!!

Having a great DJ is an extremely important part of a fun wedding reception, and Todd did not disappoint!! From the very beginning, Todd was wonderful to work with. I loved that we were able to fill out a portal of songs we wanted, didn’t want, entrance songs, etc. It made the night go so smoothly. Todd played great music, was so enthusiastic/ fun, and really got the crowd going. Nearly ALL of my 200 guests of many different age groups were on the dance floor all night long and stayed for the ENTIRE reception!! We had the best time and so many of our guests told us it was the best reception ever. If you need an awesome DJ, look no further than Porta Party DJs!

The DJ you want and need!

If it were possible to leave more than 5 stars, I would. This is the DJ you want for your wedding PERIOD. Todd was very professional but at the same time, fun to plan with! Your entire guest list will be dancing when Todd is on the floor. That's a guarantee. 6/5 stars. Thanks so much Todd!

Top-notch Wedding DJ that brings the PARTY!

We were blown away by the party and personal service Porta Party DJ's provided our wedding! From the very beginning, Todd was attentive making sure we knew all of our options for our big day. We were able to use a portal to help build our timeline for the wedding and we really appreciated the different music lists (do not play, must play, play if time). Throughout every step of the way we received a countdown email from Todd and the crew and we loved how they were able to build the excitement and support.

We had DJ Bryant for our wedding and he is next level, above and beyond, party man!!! From our initial meeting, he was a blast. He helped a not so musical bride and groom build a party playlist that fit our personality and created a party atmosphere! Bryant made sure we were taken care of all night, replenishing drinks, checking time and making sure we had fun. Our dance floor was packed with all generations and people are still talking about how fun our wedding was.

Their system and displays are top-notch and professional every step of the way!

Highly recommend

Todd did exceptional work on the 1’s and 2’s for our big night! He set the tone and that brought EVERYONE out on the dance floor. I’ve gotten all great feedback from the party on a job well done by Todd as he matched the music with the dances that we made up. If you don’t have a dancing family, you definitely will if you got Todd on stage!! Great back lighting and monogram. Everyone loved the photo booth too. Would HIGHLY recommend PORTA PARTY DJ’S!!!

Todd helped the ceremony go exceptionally smooth, everything was perfectly timed and my brides entrance was exactly what she wanted! The party itself was so much fun and we were thrilled so many people danced and stayed until the very end. The music they played was great and we loved the mix of songs. I had a great time dancing, some people even said it's the best wedding they have been to. Porta Party DJs timed everything perfectly/was aware of all the cues and they definitely they helped make the night more special! Thank you for making the night soo much fun!

Highly Recommend and Worth Every Penny

Todd and John were absolutely fantastic to work with and did a great job at our wedding. We had to change DJ's a couple months before, and got incredibly lucky to have Todd and John. John met with us beforehand and went over everything and more. UHS Prom 2022

Andy and Will at Porta Party DJs drove a few hours just to go to Prom! Though I know they specialize in weddings, they did not disappoint our teenagers. They played the perfect kind of music during the dinner, and the dance floor was never empty the rest of the evening. They eagerly took requests and were very accommodating to us (the sponsors). The evening was so much fun and such a night to remember for all! Thank you!

Bryant was WONDERFUL. Absolutely made the whole party what it was!!!!! Guest could not stop talking about how much they loved our DJ. He did more than just play the best music, always making sure we were having fun, got us drinks during dinner, interacted with everyone and got people up and dancing with ease. The best DJ I’ve ever had!

We had originally scheduled Todd for our wedding because he is a family friend and has done quite a few of my family’s weddings. But we had to re schedule 3 times because of Covid. The third time we set a date for our wedding Todd was booked but he gave us Bryant Mulkey. I didn’t know what to expect but wow, he really surprised us! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He kept in good touch with me all the way up to the wedding date. He checked in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was good. He honestly was the best DJ I have ever had! He kept the crowd in it the whole time! He played all the perfect songs! I highly recommend him and think of him as a good friend! He really is the best!

So much fun!

Porta Party DJs are such a professional company! You will not go wrong selecting them as your DJ for an event! We did a zoom call with Todd for him to get a feel about us as a couple and to go over the wedding details. Then we were assigned a DJ and did a zoom call with him to go over more specific details. John, our DJ, was amazing!! My husband is from Albania and wanted 10 Albanian songs played at the reception. He sent over each song to us to make sure it was the correct one. Also, the groomsman names are unique and he went through each name to make sure he was saying them right. The dance floor was FILLED the whole night and everyone kept saying "the most fun wedding they have been to". Even one of the wedding guest went up to John and gave him a hug haha might have had a little too much to drink! You cannot go wrong with Porta Party DJs!

Night of Our Lives!

I run The Old Post Office venue in downtown St. Louis and had DJ Todd personally DJ my own wedding. We were absolutely thrilled to have Todd and all the extras he brings with him. He took the time to prep which allowed for flawless execution and a night that everyone will remember. He pays attention to special requests and is a master at keeping the energy going and the hits playing--so much so that he is now our preferred DJ vendor at The Old Post Office!

Wonderful DJ!

Porta Party DJs was wonderful from start to finish. We booked in August 19' for our Halloween wedding in Oct 20' unfortunately due to COVID we were unable to move forward with our reception as planned. Porta Party was more than willing to help us with any and all changes that needed to be made. We were able to reschedule our reception for Oct 21' and it went off without a hitch. Our DJ, John Winkle, was wonderful as soon as we were in contact with him. He was receptive to everything we wanted. Great company!

The best DJ!

Todd made our wedding dance floor the most perfect celebration that we had always dreamed about. From our initial contact to request a quote all the way up until our reception Todd was always immediately responsive and even took the time to meet with us face to face to go over our plans.

Our dance floor at the reception was picture perfect and was packed the entire night! Our guests loved Todd and he even stayed around for the after party where people got a chance to talk with him. If you want your wedding to be the talk of the year, hire Todd with Porta Party DJs-- you won't forget it!

Porta Party DJs came in and rocked the house! Our wedding was seriously amazing and that is 100% because of Andy our DJ! Everyone was dancing throughout the night. Porta Party DJs will bring the life to your reception!

Working with Porta Party DJs (and Todd in particular) for our wedding was such a great experience. When planning out the details for our reception, Todd was extremely helpful, responsive, and detail oriented. He spent so much time both on the phone with us and responding to emails in order to ensure that everything went exactly how we envisioned it. During the reception itself, it was nice to know that I could trust him to pick songs that would keep my guests dancing. He didn't just stand behind the DJ booth either - he was out taking video, getting guest up and dancing, taking requests, etc. It was great (and bonus, I now have more video from my reception).
We can't recommend Todd and Porta Party DJs enough to bring the life to your reception!

Awesome company

Ray Ortega was absolutely amazing for my reception. I can’t speak highly enough of Porta Party DJs. The process was so easy from start to finish. I loved the convenience of the online portal. Perfect Wedding Dj

Porta Party DJs were outstanding at our wedding! We first learned about them at my brothers wedding and knew there was no other option for our wedding. They know how to keep your guests entertained and on the dance floor all night long! They are also so accommodating and play great music based off of your interests and requests! DJ Bryant!

DJ Bryant went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I (as well as all of our guests) had an AMAZING time. He kept the party on the dance floor literally the whole night and made sure I felt like a queen. He even texted us the next day to say another congratulations and that he had a blast at our wedding. Must have vendor!!

Trust me when I say you want Todd Thomas/Porta Party DJs to DJ your wedding and every other wedding/event you attend! Todd is so much more than a DJ that just stands behind the equipment, he is truly an entertainer that will bring your party to the next level. We had guests ranging from 1-95 years old and our dance floor was packed all night long! We still have people telling us "that was the best wedding I've ever been to" and Todd was a HUGE part of that! Porta Party is worth EVERY penny and more, they are a MUST have vendor for your wedding!!

John Winkler Made Our Day!!

My husband and I got married a week and a half ago and only had a four-month engagement. Due to a combination of being pretty laid back and having a short engagement we really didn't have everything planned to a "T". We were so blessed to have John Winkler as our DJ because he went absolutely above and beyond to help us pull it off! He helped us select songs ahead of time when we weren't sure what to pick and he just jumped right in on our wedding day and was all ready to go before I even knew he was there! Not only did he play amazing music the whole night and each of our selected songs were on queue but he also kept the entire ceremony and reception running so smoothly! John knew exactly when to do everything and helped round up all of the bridal party and tell us each when and where to be and what to do! It took so much stress off my plate and allowed me to relax and enjoy the night because I knew he was on top of it and would help make it all happen! I highly recommend Porta Party Djs and John Winkler specifically, he made all our wedding dreams come true! Thank you John, we are so grateful for all of your help, you were amazing and we just can't thank you enough!

We hired Porta Party to DJ my daughters wedding in August! WOW!!! Bryant did a fabulous job!!! We were so pleased with how everything turned out that evening! We even had special song requests and Bryant was ready and enthusiastic about playing all the songs! Would definitely hire them again!

Words cannot explain how happy we were to have hired Todd of Porta Party DJs for our wedding. He simply did an amazing job and put in a lot of extra time to assure our special day went off without a hitch. We not only hired Todd to be our DJ but he was also the MC of our wedding ceremony at Busch Stadium and spent a bunch of time interviewing our wedding guests on camera at our reception before our dance began. All in all, he did a fabulous job and showed up for numerous planning meetings with many great ideas. His experience, his professionalism and his ability to be able to read a crowd and get them to dance and to have fun is simply second to none!

Our only advice for using Porta Party DJ's is to make sure you book them as far in advance as possible. They are in high demand for a reason & it's because they are truly a top notch DJ company :)

If you want a DJ that keeps people on the dance floor and have a great time, book this company. Every single person I talked to that came to our weekend said they had the best time they ever had. I believe it was the music and DJ.

John was our DJ and we could not have been happier. He met with us a few weeks prior to our wedding reception, so that he could understand our vibe. This ensured that he played exactly what we wanted for our guests. We are big music fans...this stuff is the background to our lives, right? Quite often this can be a part-time gig for some folks but not for DJ Fonzy. This is all he does and that is very apparent. He kept all of our guests happy despite a wide variety of musical tastes. I had several guests compliment me on the music alone. He played videos and ran pics we provided to show events from our relationship. It was amazing and we're trying to figure out another reason we can hire them again :D

Everyone will tell you if you want your reception to be one your guests will talk about & remember, then hire a good DJ. Well, I highly recommend Porta Party DJs! Our DJ Bryant was awesome! One of our guests commented that if the dance floor was never empty you know the DJ was good. There was NEVER a time that people were not dancing at our reception. Need I say more...

We absolutely loved Bryant M. from Porta Party DJ's. He was amazing! We had many, many compliments on the DJ. Such as "...the best DJ ever", "...kept the party going all night", "...he was so much fun". We would highly recommend Porta Party DJ's. You won't be disappointed. The one goal for the reception was for everyone to have fun and Bryant made sure everyone had fun ALL NIGHT!

Porta Party DJs was easy to work with. Everything went as planned. DJ Penny Pop was amazing at our son's bar mitzvah. We will certainly request her for our next event. Highly energetic and fun. Our guests had a blast.

I had them at my wedding in December 2015 and I could not have asked for better service. TODD was awesome and could seriously make any event fun. This DJ service will really enhance the party or event that you have.

Todd is amazing!! He was able to our guest up and dancing all night! Definitely made our wedding perfect! He is so accommodating and even allowed my mom to take the mic for the last song of the night!

We had Bryant as our DJ and he was absolutely phenomenal. I've never been to a wedding where everyone was on the dance floor all night long. The music was great and we didn't even have to give him any sort of playlist. I also loved how interactive he was too. He also really wowed us when anytime he saw our drink empty he was always asking if we needed a another! He was a huge help on making the day go as smooth as it did. We can't thank Bryant and Porta Party DJs enough for making our wedding day the best day ever.

Todd was amazing at our November 2015. He did an incredible job of playing the kind of music we wanted to hear and getting our guest to get out on the dance floor. He was the perfect host without steal the spotlight. My sister used Porta Party last year and had the same experience. Seriously the BEST DJ company! Bryant was our DJ and we could not have been more thankful and pleased with everything he did! Almost 2yrs later and we still get comments on how fun our wedding was and specifically how great our DJ was. He was attentive to my husband and I and attentive to our guests and what music kept everyone on the floor all night. People were literally begging him for just one more song at the end of the night....sooo he threw on some classic boy band jams even as he packed up for the night. Hire these guys worth every penny!

If you are trying to decide on Porta Party as your DJ, look no further! Todd Thomas was our DJ 08/2015 and I'm still getting compliments today on how great of a time everyone had because of him. The dance floor was full the entire night (which I specifically wanted). The company was completely professional from start to finish regarding contract, arrival, payment, everything! My husband and I had zero worries.

We hired Porta Party DJ Todd Thomas for our corporate Christmas party. He got everyone involved (even the wall flowers) and people have been raving about him ever since with requests to have him back this year! Our DJ was Charlie, and he was definitely the life of the party. The week of our wedding Charlie reached out to me to have a thorough conversation about how we imagined our day going. He listened to our ideas first and gave amazing feedback - what I really liked was there was nothing Charlie wasn't willing to take on and do. There was never a time he said "No we can't" - it was always a "I can definitely do that" or "I can make that work". Since the day we got engaged I knew what song I wanted to walk down the aisle to - come the day of the rehearsal dinner I realized the size of my wedding party and the length of the song just didn't work out no matter how hard we tried - I was able to text Charlie that evening with my dilemma and he had a resolution within 5 minutes finding an instrumental version of the same song to play immediately after the original. I was a little nervous on the big day not knowing how it would flow together, but it went flawlessly. The first song finished as my nephew walked down the aisle holding a sign that said "here comes your bride" and the instrumental song immediately picked up for me and my father to walk down together, it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and I definitely owe that to Charlie. On to the reception - definitely the best party I've ever been too and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding! Charlie came through with the greatest playlist I've ever heard, playing a little bit of everything for everyone. His energy and willingness to get involved by teaching group dances not everyone knew definitely stood out to myself and everyone there. I was constantly getting asked, "who's your DJ, he's amazing!" At the end of the night I asked him to ask our guests to clean up any remaining trash at their personal tables and he made a dancing game out of it! Before I knew it my entire venue was cleaned up almost spotless in a matter of minutes. There are no words to thank him enough!

Todd Thomas is by far the best DJ I have ever heard. The energy this man has and feeds into the room is amazing!!! (too much fun) I heard him DJ a wedding last year and knew that I had to reserve him for my son's wedding this past May. Very easy to work with and will have your guests up and dancing all night long....until the very last song. Well, worth the money spent. He is fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone!

You can't possibly get a better DJ or DJ service. Not only are they flexible, their follow up is exceptional. They take the lead and make your event exactly what you want and more. Todd has traveled over 800 miles on a weekend to host two of my events with people begging him to come back again. Highly recommend!

These guys were a bit more expensive that other DJs we looked into, but it was totally worth it! Bryant did an amazing job at keeping the party going - the dance floor was NEVER empty (or even close to being empty). In addition to being a great DJ, he was always asking if I needed anything to drink or anything at all. I highly recomend this company.

Three weeks before my daughter’s wedding the dj she had booked cancelled and left us scrambling and stressed!
I called Todd the owner of Porta Party and he was sympathetic and quickly saved the day! He provided us with a dj and was prompt with getting us the contract and a meeting with dj Ron!
In that short amount of time Ray was able to put together all our guests requested songs. He had our guests up and dancing the entire reception! We can’t say enough good things about this company, their communication, owner and Ray our DJ!

Good People

Todd and his team at Porta Party DJ's were fantastic in a different way. Due to COVID and other circumstances, this group rescheduled with us twice (at no extra cost) and when we unfortunately had to cancel the booking the group did not ask for the remaining balance of which they were entitled to based on the contract we signed. They cut us a break when no other wedding/entertainment company did, and even after we broke the contract rules. Needless to say, this is a company you want to work with, and when we are in need of another DJ we will be choosing this group.
