Poppy and Rose was my first (and ONLY!) dress shopping experience - because I picked the second dress I tried on. Jessie was so knowledgeable on colors, styles, fabrics and what could be done to make a beautiful dress even more perfect for me. We used the cape the dress came with to make removable straps on the arms and added a cathedral veil to complete the look. My husband, father and brother all cried when they saw me in it - I am beyond happy with my purchase. Jessie and her shop deserve all of your business!! -

I had a dress in mind that I tried on at a location in OC. I called around to see if there was anyone with the dress with more competitive pricing and I landed at Poppy & Rose. I had a wonderful experience purchasing my dress with Jessie. She was quick to respond, helpful, and provided wonderful customer service. My dress came in SO fast in comparison to the timeframe the other bridal salon quoted and I was able to come pick it up and try it on and take it home. Jessie is an expert in her field and I would highly recommend considering her little boutique salon. -

Lindsay Sent on 04/03/2018Trust me, go see Jessie!! Visiting her boutique was a great experience. She was so helpful in helping me stick within my budget while finding the PERFECT dress. What I appreciated most about her guidance was our discussion of estimated alteration costs with each dress. This really helped me get a full picture of what the final cost of the dress would be. She even offered to come with me to the seamstress to help communicate alteration needs. Thank you Jessie!!

I scheduled my appointment, brought her some of my ideas, and the dress I ended up buying was the FIRST ONE she picked out for me! She will make you feel so taken care of- she will clip and unclip, clip and unclip, over and over again to make sure you are seeing these dresses in the best way!
She’s also a riot! She had my friends and me cracking up the entire time!! She put up with a FaceTime call to my mother to make sure this was the dress and even spoke with her separately! Not only all of that, but she will also help you set up your alterations and make sure you are getting a fair price. She even came to my first fitting with me! Unheard of!!
The dress was absolutely beautiful and so well made! It fit like a glove and not only was it absolutely STUNNING, but I could actually move and dance and put my own shoes on! I still receive so many compliments on it to this day!
Jessie will make sure you are happy, that you feel great and look even better! -

I just couldn't fathom spending a fortune on a dress I'd only wear once and didn't want to go to David's Bridal. This was my 4th dress shop and I was thinking I was going to have to settle. I came in and picked through a small selection of beautiful dresses. Jessie asked if I minded trying on one dress she thought I'd look great in. Well, every dress I tried on was beautiful. I saved hers for last and BAM! It was THEE one! It was almost exactly my inspiration dress, only more beautiful! Jessie's personality made my experience that much more enjoyable. She is such a sweetheart and I am in love with her business model. I felt like I was in a private fitting, the dresses were all gorgeous and reasonably priced, and she just made me feel so excited and beautiful. I've sent every bride over the last year that I've met to her. I only wish I could come up with another reason to buy another dress from her. -

Jessica Sent on 07/19/2015Jessie was wonderful! I didn't have an appointment, and she fit me in. I was very new in my search and still had a particular taste in mind. Jessie showed me dresses I wanted but surprised me with a beautiful lace gown that I would have never picked and I absolutely loved it! She has all kinds of accessories and totally reasonable prices. -
User2002528 Sent on 01/08/2015Jessie was absolutely AMAZING! She was extremely patient and understanding. She didn't pressure me or fault me for disliking something (or 10 things..) She was honest with me about what looked good on me and she even told me which dresses she preferred, which I loved. She genuinely wanted to help me look the best I've ever looked. I highly recommend coming here to find the dress of your dreams! -
User2201136 Sent on 06/28/2015This review is long overdue, but Jessie is WONDERFUL!!! This was by far the best dress shopping experience I had (and it was also the first). Jessie has the most beautiful resale gowns (of every style) that she has hand-selected, all for amazing prices (all the gowns I tried on were less than $1000). She makes dress-shopping so much fun with a one-on-one appointment in her small studio. Also, she never books appointments back-to-back so I didn't feel rushed and was able to try on dresses for an hour and a half. I loved how she didn't pressure me to purchase a gown and even offered to hold my favorite gown until the end of the weekend (I was visiting several boutiques that weekend). -
User1968784 Sent on 12/14/2014After visiting stores such as Neiman Marcus, Badgley Mischka and other couture bridal salons I was shocked at the hidden gem hiding in my very backyard. Owner Jessie Karver not only knew her own inventory but was a walking encyclopedia of dresses in other competing stores as well. Karver knew how to handle my obsessive compulsive personality, my neurotic mother and could not have been more helpful. I never thought I would get married and I cannot believe how lucky I was to have found my husband Matthew. Jessie Karver thank you for making my dreams come true. I urge everyone to flock to this store immediately!
