  Great catering via Baker's Ranch

  We chose Popi's Place as our caterer via our venue, Baker's Ranch, which is an inclusive venue. Popi's offered delicious food with very generous portions! Their staff is also wonderful and friendly. Our guests commented on how much they liked the appetizers and the dinner. I highly recommend them!

  Popi's Catering- Delicious & Made with Love

  Can I just say the family behind these Popi's establishments have such a wonderful history behind their journey to America and they are just really kind hearted people. I had the pleasure of meeting THE Popi & her daughter in law. They were one of the two caterers I could select from through my wedding venue. They fully impressed me on the first day I met them and tried their food. What I thought was going to be a small taststing for six, was definitely a 4 course meal. Everything was incredibly delicious and made with absolute love. A few of the items we tried were: Pork egg rolls, spanakopita, greek meatballs, coconut shrimp, garlic orzo, short rib, lemon piccata chicken, greek potatoes, green beans almandine, asparagus, fresh warm rolls, and the greek salad... if i could drink a bottle of the dressing I would. I obviously picked Popi's Place as the caterer. At the wedding they did an outstanding job, food was hot and fresh, massive portions.We had around 140 people and she over delivered, even took left overs home. Popi was there at the wedding and personally delivered my food and some extra appetizers to my husband and I. 10/10 all around experience with the establishments catering skills.

  Highly Recommend

  Popi's was absolutely amazing! The food was incredible and their buffet set-up matched all of my wedding decor. They were super personable and the guests seemed to enjoy their food. The food was flavorful and served hot! I would recommend them for any event or wedding!!!

  Amazing food for our wedding!

  We didn’t know that Popi’s Place did catering prior to our wedding tasting with them - but we are so glad they were recommended to us because they did an amazing job at our wedding. Our wedding guests were commenting on how good the food was during the wedding & after. The food never ran out & everything was delicious. Working with them was completely stress free, everything was set-up & broken down perfectly, & we would definitely recommend them to anyone for catering in the future.

  Wedding Weekend

  Popi’s Place catered our wedding and we are SO happy we went with them! They’re the most friendly, responsive, and flexible! The food and service was second to none! Everything was perfect from the food to coordinating linens to the kind and prompt service for our guests! They have a great team and we were so lucky to have them cater the biggest day of our lives! We love Popi’s! Highly recommend!

  Who know the hidden gem of Brandenton, Popi’s Place Restaurants, did wedding catering?! Luckily, a coworker of mine has just gotten married in the area and recommended my husband and I look into them. We are so beyond happy that we took his advice. Popi’s catering did an AMAZING job with our reception, cocktail hour and our rentals. Our guest list for our wedding was around 200 people and since my parents were paying for the meal they insisted on a plated meal. I just knew that with the number of guests, our budget and the fact it had to be plated we would end up with a meatless entrée or would not be able to find a caterer willing. Popi came to the rescue and worked within our budget to provide a all our wedding food, including a dual plated entrée. Popi’s does not have a liquor license but they do have a beer and wine license. This didn’t bother us as we had originally only intended to serve beer and wine but other brides may was to factor that in to their decision. Our venue required we serve all alcoholic beverages by a licensed vendor. Luckily, Popi allowed us to provide our own beer and wine to be served by her licensed bartenders. This saved us a TON of money! Also, Popi’s took care of all of our rentals (tables, chairs, linens, china, etc) and flipped our ceremony to our reception. We ran into a snag with our venue on the day of and Popi’s staff came through like champs! Our reception was cut by an hour due to a local noise ordinance and to make up for the time they flipped the ceremony area to the reception in 25 minutes. You will not regret going with Popis!

  Popi's is amazing. We had a brunch with eggs, ham, potatoes, shrimp, grits,biscuits and gravy, and other delicious things. They set-up and cleaned everything. The food was hot and fresh and the servers were friendly and helped with the cake cutting. The price was very reasonable compared with many other places and it is a nice family run restraunt.

  This company is a dream to work with. Great food, great service, and great people. We had our rehearsal dinner at one of their locations, they catered the reception, and we met for a day-after wedding brunch with my family and friends. At every meal, everyone was raving about how delicious the food was. The service was great. Not only were the servers accurate and timely, but they were incredibly friendly and professional. Popi, the owner, is a wonderful woman who is truly a joy to work with. Out of all of my vendors, I was most pleased with this one. They are awesome!

  Great home cooking!

  We had Popi's Place cater our wedding and so many people were impressed with the food! We had multiple food tastings and Popi herself was present for both of them, along with her daughter in law, Jen. Popi and Jen were also present at the wedding, making sure everything was perfect! Jen primarily communicated with me in regards to the menu. They truly cared about making us happy and accommodating a few guests who had specific food requirements. It is not traditional fancy wedding food but home cooking that is SOOOO good! We are very happy that we chose them and look forward to eating at their restaurant in the future! (I recommend the chicken cordon bleu and spinach pies!!) Thank you!
