I found my dream wedding dress at Pomp and Pageantry after trying on around 20 dresses at other shops. Everyone that I interacted with there was positive, helpful, and encouraging. I am not a “fancy” person or comfortable in places like dress boutiques. They did not judge me based on my jeans, t-shirt, and Converse. I ended up purchasing my dress, veil, and shoes from them. Basic alterations were included (aside from bra cups) with the price of the dress, which saved a lot of money. She did a great job on the alterations too! Interestingly enough, I found the dress for my first wedding there too. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful experience

These ladies are wonderful. They took their time with me and was so kind and helpful. After trying on several dresses at other places I found my dress here after only trying on 2 dresses. I loved my experience here plus my alterations were free! You can’t beat that such a great experience. I will shop here for all my formal needs. Thanks ladies for all your help.

Beautiful selection, lovely seamestress and salespeople

The selection here at pomp and pageantry is beautiful. They had the dreamy, romantic, elegant styles I wanted in my size. As a plus size bride it's sometimes hard to find. I fell in love with a sweetheart strapless ball gown. We were able to do a payment plan to pay it off, and the included alterations turned out great. I recommend coming here.

I actually did not have an appointment but they were able to work me in and i found my dream dress within 1 hour or so and got to take it home that day! It was a fantastic experience!

My wedding dress was a dream come true! My experience with Pomp and Pageantry was wonderful! My consultant was fun and full of compliments- she made me feel comfortable and beautiful! The dress itself was extremely reasonably priced, and on top of that, P&P offers complimentary alterations and a 10% off teacher discount! All of this combined contributed to amazing value. Alterations were very well done and speedy, and I ended up being 100% pleased with my dress and my experience with Pomp & Pageantry!

I received excellent service when I was selecting the perfect gown. I never felt pressured into buying anything! I ended up narrowing it down to one and coming back a few days later to make my purchase. I loved that the alterations were included in the price (and it helped me justify the cost). Everyone I interacted with was great!

My dress was amazing. I found i online it wasn't available in stores yet. The young ladies there called around and able to find my dress and ordered it. They honored my step fathers military discount which was amazing. They allow you to make payments on your dress even after it comes in. My alterations where included and they put in the bustle for me as well. I highly recommend this shop the staff and management where so lovely to work with

I had previously bought prom dresses and a bridesmaid dress here, so I knew that I should at least try them out! I was able to find my dress (4th one I tried on!), not to mention received a discount because I had previously purchased a dress from here, which was a great surprise. They also did all alterations free with my dress purchase (and in house, so it was never sent off), which was nice and probably saved quite a bit. Overall, I was very pleased with the shop!

Pomp & Pageantry was so easy to work with! I found the most beautiful Maggie Sottero dress for only $1000 and they did free alterations. They also were good about working with my schedule for alterations since I lived in Tulsa and am in medical school. Definitely recommend working with them for your dress!!

Tina from Pomp and Pageantry was awesome! Her and her staff did everything to make sure I found the perfect wedding dress! The complimentary alterations were so great and it was one less thing we had to worry about when it came to our wedding budget! We are from Tulsa, OK so we made the trip out to OKC to try to find my wedding dress! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a friendly smile and asked if they could help us look! I found my dress within 30 mins and had it ordered and we were out in the door within an hour! We also got my jewelry there! After it was all said and done we had made four trips to OKC before my dress was ready to be picked up and it was well worth the 2 hour drive from tulsa! If you are wanting to get a unique wedding dress at an adorable boutique, Pomp and Pageantry is the place to go!

The staff at Pomp and Pageantry has been beyond helpful since the first day I worked with them. They were extremely attentive and focused on me during my appointment and helped me find the dress of my dreams. It is more than I could have asked for and came in way under the budget I had set for my dress which made me very happy!! Every question I have had has been answered promptly and they go out of their way to make me happy. I would definitely check them out when you start looming for dresses!

I love Pomp & Pageantry! They offer military discount, free alterations, and fabulous service! I had previously found my dress at another bridal store and I found it here for $400 less and on top of that, they offered military discount which made my dress very affordable. The bottom of my dress has a scalloped edge and the seamstress here was the only one who knew how to alter it without just buying a shorter length dress. And if that wasn't enough, the sales associate who worked with my mom and me (her name was Amy I think) sent a thank you note for giving her store our business! They even sent me a free trial at Mary K. Talk about customer service. This place is totally giving you more bang for your buck and you will not be disappointed if you invest your dress money here :)

I bought my dress here and my consultant tina was so so great and helpful! I bought all of my prom dresses here as well and they greeted me by name! the seamsrewss here, teresa does amazing work all of my formals fit me like a glove and look perfect.. I would definitly reccomend this place to anyone whose getting marriedespecially if you dont want to deal with pressuring sales ladys at other stores!

I received more compliments on my dress than anything else in my wedding. I had no difficulty with the store itself. I also got the dress for half the price of the original dress I was wanting at a different store.

i had a fantastic experiend at pomp and pageantry! they were so helpful and provided a lot of extra services other stores don't. i'm not sure what the review below are talking about, but that was definitely not the case for me. i also hope that people really take the reviewer's comments below, about the blogspot, with a grain of salt because i've had friends buy from pomp and pageantry and their experience were just as great as mine! We all think the owner is cute and sweet!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Everyone is super-helpful and patient, the selection of dress and jewelry is excellent, the prices are almost unbelievable. My only qualm was that it was a bit of drive...but SO worth it. Alterations are included in the price of the gown (which is AWESOME), and their seamstress is so sweet! She did exactly what I asked and offered me lots of options for the bustle, hemline, etc. I looked all over town, and P&P offers the best deals around!

I love pomp and pageantry the lady helped me so much told her my style and price range and in 5 minutes i had the gown i wanted. They carry an enormous selection of gowns for brides, the wedding party, and moms, (as well as prom dresses). Not at all like David's Bridal. The woman who owns it is a real seamstress and once you order your dress from them, she will set up an appointment to have it fitted perfectly at no charge. If you buy your wedding dress there, you get 10% off for both mom's dresses and your bridesmaids. The ladies up there are really sweet and helpful. My wedding dress, my 2 bridesmaids dresses and my mom's dress came up to only $1200 all together.

I had a great experience purchasing my bridal gown and 5 bridesmaids dresses at Pomp and Pageantry. The sales associate, Alex, who I worked with was so kind and enthusiastic about helping me find the perfect dress! Then, to make the dress my own, Teresa (the seamstress) replaced the corset back with a zipper and buttons and it turned out just beautiful. They were very helpful, reasonably priced, and I absolutely loved the finished product. My only hesitation in giving them 5/5 is that one of my bridesmaids had a hard time getting a hold of them when trying to schedule her fitting.

It's too bad that other reviewers had bad experiences at P&P because I had such a wonderful experience! I made an appointment and gave them what my budget and style was. They were able to help me narrown down exactly what I was looking for because bridal shopping can be sooooo overwhelming. With just a little extra charge, they were able to do a special revision on my top and it turned out perfect! You also can't beat free high quality alterations!

Working with these ladies was a breeze. My wedding was in june and they were busy with proms and graduations and they still handled my wedding dress great. I had to have my dress ordered and it came in early and everything was ready for my wedding. Thanks ladies keep up the good work.

Got my wedding dress here. I absolutely love it. My grandma did the tailoring on it and it needed a lot of work done to it but overall for the price it's amazing and the selection that they had was great. I love my dress so much. Thanks!

The dresses were so nice! That was my problem though, I found so many dresses I loved every store I went to and I couldn't decide! The woman that helped me was so nice! I went during a weekday and didn't make an appointment. I tried on several dresses of all different styles. What I loved about this place was that I could go through the racks and SEARCH for a dress. At David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo I couldn't do that. Looking at a dress in a magazine is different than getting to see it and touch it before you pull it to try on. If your budget is $700-$1500 go and look there. They can order dresses too!

They were helpful in searching and ordering a specific dress. The fitting was a little rushed and there were many other brides trying on dresses so it felt a little crowded. However, I found my dress with no problem, great price, and great alterations. Overall a good experience.

I got the dress of my dreams for a steal at Pomp and Pageantry! The sales lady very quickly got a good feel for my style and vision and made a wonderful suggestion from the clearance rack. I was shocked that I could look that good in a wedding dress. It was absolutely perfect! The alterations were a good deal and well-done, too.

I love my Maggie Soterro dress! The girl that worked with me when I was searching for my dress was awesome! She made me feel very comfortable, as did the owner, Ann! Each time I came into the shop, I was offered water and was greeted in a friendly manner! However, after I purchased my dress, the girl who had been helping me quit working there. It was slightly stressful because she had told me certain things and then I had to fight for those things to be honored. Each time after for fittings and such, a different person helped me and it became much less personal. The girls that work there seem young and not always knowledgeable. Although they work hard to find the answer to your questions. Overall, I would totally recommend Pomp and Pageantry. The free/complimentary alterations are a huge bonus. The seamstresses are phenomenal!

They have a wonderful collection of bridal gowns, but make sure you don't need to get fitted during prom season (it wont happen).

I chose to go here for my dress because they do free alterations. Sarah helped me and my bridal party. She was lovely and helpful. The only issue was that they only do alterations on Tuesdays and I had a bridesmaid who lived 100 miles away who was unable to make the trip during the week. I really wish that they had more flexibility with that issue.

HORRIBLE BUISNESS! Told me alterations would be complimentary and then once the alterations were done she charged me an additional $95 on top of what I already paid up front. Owner hides and will not speak to you if you have a problem!!!!

My wedding is coming up and Im very upset about my dress. I found my dress at Pomp & Pageantry and everything was fine until i got my dress in that I ordered. They (Amanda) ordered the wrong size for me. My dress was to big and all she could say is we will take it in. Well they did take it in but I dont like how it fits now and the hem is to short so I have to find different shoes to fit the hem of my dress. I dont know why they have this Amanda girl working there she doesnt know how to order the correct size! Everyone knows that your corset has to be open in the back for a perfect corset fit. I tried on the sample in the store it was a size 4 and the corset was closed we talked about that so I thought I was ordering a smaller size nope thought wrong!

I purchased my wedding dress from Pomp and Pageantry and was very pleased. However, now that our wedding is done I am left with much disappointment. Every time I was in Pomp and Pageantry I was told about their tux shop next door. Both the owner and the employees pushed for brides to use L’Arsenale Tuxes. Pomp and Pageantry owned L’Arsenale. Brides who purchased their dresses with Pomp and Pageantry received incomparable prices for tuxes through L’Arsenale. I began discussing our options with L’Arsenale about 14 months prior to our wedding. As we were instructed, we placed our order about 4 weeks prior to our wedding. We were planning on buying 6 tuxes from them. Chaffee, manager of L’Arsenale, and son of Pomp and Pageantry owner, was who I worked with throughout with whole process. Chaffee told me that we would have our tuxes 3 weeks prior to our wedding date. I heard that same story every other day for about two weeks. When it came to the week of our wedding, we called Chaffee every day, multiple times a day. Each time we spoke he ensured that we would have our tuxes, “they were getting the final pieces together” he would say. Friday night, the night before our wedding day, Chaffee swore he would have all the tuxes delivered to our house before midnight. That never happened. Saturday morning, our wedding day, our guys had nothing to wear. We called Chaffee and he said he didn’t have anything for us. He did however, tell us the name of another tux shop to call and claimed he would pay for our tuxes through them. We had paid Chaffee $677.34, August 18th, 2016 when we ordered our tuxes. We have yet to receive a refund. Thankfully our guys were able to receive matching tuxes in time, from Linh’s Bridal and Fashion. According to the owner of Linh’s Bridal and Fashion, Chaffee had put him into this same position many times. Calling him the morning of countless weddings needing him to pull groups of tuxes together. The owner of Linh’s cut us an amazing deal.

was EXTREMELY disappointed. I have heard good things so when I was searching for my wedding dress, I came there with my mother, future mother in law and 2 bridesmaids. I made an appointment so that I could make the most of my time there. I had no help, they were ALL busy with another bride there and I had to do everything myself. They were extremely rude to the girls with me and after 30 minutes I left. I was completely ignored during my time there. I asked for help finding a style of dress, an a line, and they brought me mermaid dresses that were WAY to small. My whole group noticed it and I left in tears.

I bought my dress from pomp and pageantry in late spring 2012 during their big clearance sale. I was pleased to find a lace dress at such a great price; however I did want to make changes to it and I was prepared to pay for such changes. When I called to set up my appt for my fitting I was told that they would have to call me back when the manager arrived. Two days later I hadn't received a call back so I called myself. I was then given an appt time for a Friday @ 4pm. When I arrived to my appt I was told that the seamstress was still with her previous appt and would be with me shortly. I was fine with that and took the time to browse all the fun prom dresses ;). By the time my appt was started it was 4:15 but a few minutes into my appt I was told that I should have never had that appt time because I bought a sale dress. The seamstress informed me that sale dresses are only supposed to be 6pm appts (not sure why it matters because I paid for my dress and was going to have to pay for alterations). She then asked if I could come back on another day because she didn't have time. Mind you i work a full time job and my only day off is Friday during the week but they close @5pm which gives me no 6pm option . I told her this and her response was still "sale dresses are for 6pm appts only" . After spending approx 20min with me she was done. By this time I was pretty frustrated and was contemplating taking my dress and leaving without alterations. First I wanted to verify some info so I asked how long they allot for fittings and her response was "30-45 min". By this time I was livid because I had been treated so poorly for having a "sale" dress. I guess the only thing they care about is the amount of money you spend. Since I didn't buy a $2k dress I shouldn't receive customer service!

I called this store 1.5 years before my wedding. My first clue not to use them was how rude they were about scheduling me an appt that far in advance. When my dress came in 6 months later, they had ordered the wrong color dress. Then I'm told, "well, no rush your wedding is a year away"!! They ordered a new gown and due to me contacting the Maggie sottero vender it came in within 2 months. The staff was rude overall. The consultant ordered a size smaller than I tried on in the store because she thought taking it out was a better option than taking it in. Then when my dress doesn't fit she tells me
That I tried that size on in the store and implys that I just gained weight. WhAt?!? Would not recommend. October 2012.

IN RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENT:
As you can see she is still acting like i gained weight and not admitting that they were wrong about the size dress i tried on. I had 3 bridesmaids and they all remember the conversation about the size of the dress. As far as my "male companion"..he was going to the restroom, which he knew where it was because i have been to this store a MILLION TIMES! He did not want to bother anyone and was going to be back in the car when done. Are you telling me i can spend $1300 in your store but my FIANCE cant use the bathroom?! Just because you have an "order form" doesnt mean you ordered the right dress, and it is obvious you didnt since it was WRONG! Do not act like the "free alterations" was a special service to me! YOU DO THAT FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as the "discount" i received, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Of course i deserved a discount for having to wait 10 months for my dress!!!!!! I will continue to spread the word about how unprofessional the staff is at this terrible store.

If you notice when the good reviews were written they were not in 2010. I think the store must have new owners, because my experience was not great, the staff was rude, and the owner was unhelpful.

This place is awful, they are not flexible at all and I can't imagine why anyone would say so. The owner, Ann, is rude and completely unprofessional. I will never go back, and would not advise anyone to do so. If you are looking for great service and quality dresses, go to Bella Rose in Edmond, Bridal Boutique in Norman, or Moliere Bridal in OKC.
