Planning a wedding from Los Angeles all the way in Mykonos sounded like a recipe for stress — especially since we had never met our planner in person. But working with Filia from Poema completely transformed what could have been a stressful experience into something genuinely joyful, organized, and unforgettable. I truly could not have been happier.
From our very first meeting, Filia put us at ease. She was incredibly responsive, warm, and patient, answering every single one of my (many!) detailed questions and walking me through each decision from beginning to end. She presented countless beautiful options in such an organized and thoughtful way, always taking the time to explain the pros and cons so I felt confident in every choice we made. There were so many moments where I’d send her a late-night email, anxious about some small detail, and she always replied with such kindness and calm. At times, she really felt more like my therapist than my planner. I had heard horror stories about planning weddings abroad, but with Filia it was the complete opposite. She and the Poema team made the entire process not only stress-free, but actually enjoyable. I’d wake up in the morning looking forward to emails and updates about the wedding during the planning stages (I am already missing these emails now that our wedding is behind us!)
When we finally met in person on the wedding day, I got so emotional that I cried (the first of many times I cried during our wedding!) It truly felt like seeing a dear friend. From that moment until the very end of our two-day celebration, Filia worked tirelessly with her wonderful team, Ifigenia and Panos, to make sure every last detail was perfect. Ifegenia was warm, kind and lovely, and Panos had a calming, confident and reassuring presence. It was truly the perfect wedding team. Despite strong Mykonos winds complicating some of our plans, they handled everything so gracefully and made sure the day went off flawlessly.
Thanks to Filia and the Poema team, our wedding turned out even more magical than we ever imagined. I can honestly say the planning experience, the execution, and the entire celebration were beyond my wildest dreams, and it’s all because of their dedication, care, and incredible professionalism.
We were so thrilled with how everything turned out that we’re already talking about planning an anniversary party in Greece and working with Poema again. If you’re considering getting married in Greece, look no further. I cannot recommend Poema (and especially Filia) highly enough. They are simply extraordinary and I will forever be grateful for Poema making our wedding dreams come true. -

Planning an Indian wedding is no easy feat, especially one that spans multiple days, cultures, and time zones, but Poema made it all feel effortless. From the very beginning, the team were so organized, patient and kind. They took the time to really understand our vision and somehow brought every single detail to life even better than we imagined.
Every event flowed so seamlessly, and the decor, florals, lighting, and overall aesthetic were absolutely stunning. They handled all of our last-minute changes with such calmness, which made the whole process feel so much easier for us.
Our guests still can’t stop talking about how magical the entire weekend felt - the decor, the food, the timing of events, everything was perfect. It was truly the wedding of our dreams, and we owe it all to Poema!!

We got married at Santorini Gem on 11th July 2019, we had the most incredible day of our lives! Poems were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Filia was always on hand to help and was quick to answer my emails throughout the planning process. She took time to understand what we were dreaming of and made that dream a reality with the poema team. Amalia, Filia and all of the team were so welcoming, enthusiatsic and professional. On the day everything went like clockwork, and Filia was great, reassuring me and putting me at ease, it was so much more than we could have wished for. All of the vendors we had through them were also brilliant. The flowers were stunning and they were exactly what I had in my mind, all the decoration was beautiful and our photos are out of this world! I wish that we could re-live the day again exactly as it was, we wouldn't have changed a thing! We would highly recommend Poema's services. They truly are second to none. -

Grateful is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about our experience with Poema. We feel incredibly blessed to have found a team who genuinely cares about the happiness of their couples. This makes all the difference when planning the day you dreamed about since you were a young girl. You want to work with people who love what they do; it is evident that the team is happy making others happy. The time, care and creative thinking that went into making our day uniquely special was not only felt by us but all the guests who attended our wedding. It was a magical day, everything I dreamed of and more.

We got married on the 30.09.2019 at Cavo Ventus villa in Santorini. It was so without a doubt the best day of our lives and this was mainly down to our amazing Planners Poema who I cannot recommend enough! When I started researching planners on the island I came across Poema. After emailing various different companies it was clear that Poema stood out to us, providing immediate support and guidance on their services. Poema offer a tailored made service meaning they stand out from other companies that offer a standard package service, which wasn’t what we wanted for our special day. From day one of the planning process Poema made us feel so special and like we were part of the family. All of the team worked so hard to create our dream day and boy did they exceed our expectations. Personally I am not the most decisive person and always struggle with making decisions, which straight away made me worry to plan our wedding, especially overseas, but Poema managed to take all of that stress away from us and made it a really enjoyable process. We decided to fly out to meet the team last year for a Pre-wedding meeting. Poema took the time to show us around the venue and meet some of the potential vendors, in order to aid us in making some decisions on our choices for the day. The owners Amalia and George are a fantastic couple, so welcoming and really made us feel at home. During the rest of the planning we mainly dealt with a Filia and Vassiliki who helped us with all aspects of the planning, exchanging nearly 700 emails in the space of a year and a half they managed to gage our vision and create the most fantastic event for us, which we will always remember. Our guests were so impressed with everything at the wedding and couldn’t believe how professional and amazing they were! I honestly cannot thank the whole team enough for the love and support they have given us, we will be forever grateful for their hard work and dedication to planning our dream day. So if your thinking of who to choose for your planners, don’t give it a second thought.. Poema are by far the best planners on the island and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! So all that is left for me to say is Thank you from the bottom of our hearts we will miss you but as you say it is not bye bye it is see you soon :). The best planners in Santorini
We knew from our very first Skype call that Poema was the perfect wedding planning company for us.
From start to finish they have been amazing. The detail, and love that went into our wedding from Filia our planner was incredible, we were made to feel so special during the whole process and they created our dream day. They listened to every tiny detail and made sure our day was one we would never forget. Communication the whole way through was great, and they even helped us plan an incredible party the day after our wedding for us and our 90 guests.
If you want to create a unique wedding day that will have guests talking about for years to come... look no further. Poema are trust worthy and reliable and we now think of them as family and cannot wait to visit them again :) -

Santorini was an amazing place for our dream Wedding! Amalia, Anna-Maria, our photographer George, and all the team was just professional, responsible and super helpful. Everything was just on a high level. We were really impressed with our venue and organization. We are very pleased and would like to say thank you again for everything. Greece left us with unforgettable memories, kindest people and amazing service. We will be definitely back to celebrate our anniversary here, and hopefully will see our girls planners again. -

I can not recommend Poema enough!
They took the time to get to know my husband and I on a personal level, listened to our needs and what we wanted out of our big day, and were the most professional and organized team!
If you are looking for a team that will become your family & truly care about what you want, as well as being organized, this is the team you have to pick.
On our big day, they had a team on-site to help support and took care of all the little details for us. We did not worry about a thing and they made sure to check in on us periodically to see if we needed anything.
Our day was a dream come true because of them.

No two weddings or in my case, elopement is alike. We wanted the details of a wedding with just us two. Justine Sent on 04/22/2019Poema was amazing! They changed the day of my wedding with only 1-2 day notice so that I wouldn't have to get married in the rain!
Amalia and her team did an AMAZING job arranging every detail of our destination wedding in Santorini! I can't possibly say enough to praise everything that they did for us. From the first phone call to the actual wedding day and after, they were extremely communicative and patient and helpful and did everything that we wanted. I booked the entire Tsitouras Collection for my group to stay since it was a small hotel with amazing reviews and we were a small group (~20 people), but I was a little nervous about using it as a venue since it was so hard to tell from photos whether it would be a good wedding venue, so I almost went with one of the other more popular venues. However Amalia was very familiar with the hotel since her office is only a few minutes walk away, and she assured me that it would a beautiful venue, and she was absolutely right!
There were so many things that Amalia and her team did that went above and beyond, but the most unbelievable thing that they did is change the date of the wedding with only 1-2 day notice! Unfortunately there was heavy rain forecasted for the original date of the wedding (we got married in October which is the shoulder season), so they moved the entire wedding up by a day so that I wouldn't have to get married in the rain. Everything still went flawlessly--from makeup/hair to photographers to caterers. I know that they put so much work into it, but I couldn't believe how effortless they made it seem, and how stress-free for me it was!

We got engaged in Santorini and immediately started looking for wedding planners as I knew planning a Santorini wedding from the U.S. was going to be difficult. The Poema team was able to meet with us in person while we were still on the island. They explained how they hands on they are and showed us a few examples of weddings they had done and we knew they were the perfect team. Over the next year, we were in constant contact with the team usually hearing back within a day or two even with the time change and they really listened to exactly what we wanted and made our dream wedding come true! They ended up handling our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the Cavo Ventus Villa and it was the most amazing trip and as stressed as I was leading up to the trip with planning a destination wedding for 20+ people once we got on the island and met with the Penny and their team again it all went away. They handled every detail and we had the most relaxing wedding day knowing all the final details were in great hands. The wedding went off without a hitch and I know it was because of their wonderful team. They really took the time to find out exactly what our dream wedding was and working with out budget made everything come true. People are still talking about our beautiful Greek wedding! -

This weddingplanner is Amazing! I recommend everybody who wants to have a marriage without ANY concerns Poema.
Sure they run a business and also want to make money just like other entrepeneurs BUT:
- They are trully interested in your wellbeing
- They are kind and warm
- They have a quick responsive time
- They bend over backwards to make everything for you possible, they just FIX IT
- The owner and her team only go for the BEST Quality and the best mostly costs also money but they also give other alternatives is you have a different budget

What can I say guys! Amalia and the team over at Poema are just the best! My dream wedding in Santorini was just perfect down to every detail thanks to Amalia!
Planning a destination wedding is challenging, let alone on such a small island such as Santorini, but not to fear, Poema has it all under control.
My wedding was just amazing, everyone is still talking about it. As a non-typical bride myself, with two young children I simply don’t have the time and energy other brides to be may have when planning their dream wedding. Thankfully, I didn’t need to, the Poema team was there every second of the way, things I worried about and things that I didn’t even know I was going to worry about were all taken care of by Poema months before my wedding.
The amount and attention to detail Poema provides is just crucial, not to mention my undesirable personal trait of impulsivity that can make planning anything a serious challenge, changing my mind constantly, afraid and weary to make a crucial mistake or decision I would regret, emailing back and forth and continuing to flip flop on my decisions! Even up until the last minute! Amalia handled it all with grace!
Several months prior to the wedding email discussions arose regarding a pre-wedding event, specifically the Sunset cruise on the sailboat the day before the wedding for our guests. My heart was set on it, however it was an expense I decided could be used elsewhere, after continuous contemplation, my family and I collectively decided not to proceed with the pre-wedding private sunset cruise for our guests.
Until we arrived in Santorini, 2 days prior to the wedding, and realized we were making a huge mistake! After our pre-wedding meeting at the Poema office, my mother and I decided we had to do the cruise for the next day, even though we expected disappointment due to our last minute mind change. All of the aspects, booking the cruise, 70 guests transportation back and forth, food, beverages, were meant to be organized months prior to the wedding, not the night before! That still was no challenge for Amalia, in fact, she was delighted and encouraged the last minute cruise decision and wasted no time in organizing what she could.
By the time I left the Poema office, until the time I arrived back to my hotel, Amalia had organized it all, at 7pm at night, ready to go for 3 in the afternoon perfect sunset time the following day. In what should have taken months, between arranging, organizing and confirming all of the aspects the cruise included, Amalia did it with ease, to perfection within an hour or two.
Not only that, having such a large family comes with the unexpected issues that arise when trying to please everyone, many family members and guests who, when I asked months prior when planning if they were interested in getting hair and makeup the day of the wedding, declined the need for appointments when originally asked, changed their minds the day before the wedding. I needed an extra 4 more hair appointments in addition to the 9 or 10 we already had booked. On a Saturday in the last week of August! Still no match for Amalia and Poema team! Done and sorted!
I think its safe to say planning a wedding, any wedding is straight up stressful! Regardless of how many guests are attending or how many are not, whether the wedding is down the street or on the other side of the world, the months leading up to it are full of anxiety, constant decisions that have to be made that if wrongly chosen can seem like the end of the world, feelings that can so easily make a bride to be who is supposed to be filled with excitement and joy leading up to her big day, be overwhelmed with feelings of uncertainty and nervousness instead, and forget what the true purpose of all of this planning was for. Thats why Amalia and everyone at Poema are simply the greatest, they work every aspect out for the bride, so that she, or I didn’t have to worry, and I could clearly see behind all the glitz and glamour, behind the flowers and decor, the true reason why I was getting married. -

From the start to the end, Filia and her amazing team made everything so easy for us.
We are a British couple living in Singapore and wanted a wedding in Santorini, as we had fallen in love with the island on a previous holiday. We knew it would be impossible to do this without a good wedding planner.
Because we live on the other side of the world, we knew it wouldn't be an option to visit any of the venues, so we really did have to leave it up to the amazing team at Poema.
Filia made the process so much easier by breaking it down into manageable jobs for us. She would send the best options on the island and help break it all down for us, and we would then decide on one together.
Because we had guests coming from all over the world, we decided on a 3 day event.
- Day 1: A meal together so everyone could meet (Ammoudi tavern which was so beautiful & the food delicious)
- Day 2: The wedding day itself (At Thermes Luxury Villas)
- Day 3: A boat party! (Hiring a catamaran to go around the island with a fantastic BBQ and lots of drinks!)
Most of our wedding party stayed with us at the venue, Thermes Luxury villas. Whilst others stayed in nearby hotels. Poema, were so organised! Helping us coordinate buses to/from the wedding/meal/boat. As well as helping with everything else in between (such as helping us decide on food/wine/cocktails/table plans/speeches/first dances/baklava cake/an ice cream bike/traditional greek musicians/plate smashing, a helicopter ride and many many more!).
I arrived on the island 4 days before the wedding and when I was driving down to Thermes, the relieve instantly lifted off my shoulders as I saw the stunning villas with the mesmerising view! I just knew it would be perfect.
We met the team a couple of days before the wedding and they were so friendly, kind and especially comforting as i stressed about the wedding! The day before the wedding I had realised that I had not ordered a table plan and they quickly had an amazing one ready to go for my "travel themed" wedding.
From the start of the day, meeting the hair & make up team, Filia was always near by helping me keep calm and ready to answer any question I had. Unfortunately our photographer had to cancel a month before the wedding but Filia organised for our 2nd choice to be there and the photos were UNBELIEVABLE.
The day went by without a problem (the best man bombing into the pool ruining the decorations didn't even bother me!), and I can honestly say was the best day of my life. Even writing this now I get teary as it is all over and it was absolutely perfect, in every single way.
Thank you so much Filia & team, the memories of our special day will stay with us forever.

Wow, when you put your most special day in the hands of wedding planners to make recommendations to you without you being able to make a trip out, you run the risk of things going horribly wrong.
However in Poema we trust!
Every single part of the wedding events ran like clockwork, each venue, food choice, decor element was superbly recommended and turned out far better than we could have ever expected! Each of our guests absolutely loved each moment, from the pre wedding party locations and food to the excitement of the wedding locations, surprises of fireworks and the incredible food and decor at the wedding itself.
We knew we had the right wedding planners from our first conversation with the Poema team because of just how personable they were, they were genuinely interested in us as a couple and not looking to create a cookie cutter wedding. This is shown by the fact they take on a limited amount of weddings a year ensuring they have enough staff to give your special day the attention to planning and execution it deserves.
Communication was simple, either via email or video chat, they were always available to help plan and organise and reorganize and reorganize and reorganize our wishes (that was no typo, we did reorganize a few times!). Each time we messaged it became clear we weren't just talking to our wedding planners but moreso our friends, that is the type of relationship that gets built up with Poema!
Everything was set out in logical and easy to manage steps or as manageable as can be when organising a wedding and you, your partner's and potentially your families wishes. This made sure we were never too stressed out and were able to manage our time better, especially since we were also arranging a wedding in the UK.
Having someone to call whenever you need and making sure everything runs smoothly is an absolute godsend, it meant family members could relax and party.
We highly recommend Poema and know they'll give you the wedding of your dreams -
Christine Sent on 10/11/2018Getting married can be a daunting task with so much to organise, throwing in a different country into the equation can make it almost a mission impossible!. Freddie and I got engaged in Feb 2017 and started thinking about our the type of wedding day we wanted almost immediately. It had always been our dream to be married outside, in the sun, somewhere beautiful. After visiting Santorini a few times in previous years there could only be one place, it was the ultimate wedding destination for us. We scoured the internet looking at all the various planning websites, there are quite a few, some websites looking decidedly dodgy I might add!!! Who do you trust? how do you know they will be there when you arrive? what if its all a big scam? These are all the thoughts that went through our minds. We started discussing our worries with friends and then one friend knew someone who had actually got married in Santorini, they had used Poema Wedding planners and raved about them. I lost no time in contacting Lucy the friend of a friend, she helped me no end sending me all the information I needed and asking the 1000s questions or so that I had. Knowing that someone else had used Poema and was so enthusiastic about them was good enough for me! I contacted Poema and from start to finish their professionalism, sense of humour and caring attitude made my confidence grow with every email exchange. I had a few different Poema planners in the time leading up to our wedding on 22 September 2018 and can say that all of them were absolutely fantastic, Maya ( who had to return to Athens), Effie (who stood in - had to go back to her other job) and the lovely Filia, who saw us through to the day, were all amazing. They all really care about your wedding day as much as you do!! They are absolutely on top of everything and have it all worked out. Nothing is too much trouble, they made our dream wedding a reality, it really was the best day.....ever! xxx

Every single second from planning to the magical day/night was more than we could have asked for. The POEMA team made planning very easy for us especially being all the way over in Australia.
All of my friends and family still comment to this day on how amazing the day was and how wonderful the wedding planners at POEMA are.

Any questions we had they took great pains to thoroughly answer them. Our wedding was beautiful and simple-just what we wanted. We got everything we wanted to an exact detail. (Literally. I sent pictures and each detail was matched. My heart was so full when I saw it all come together!) We couldn't have asked for anything better. The individuals (Poema, caterers, photographer, florist, driver-everone!) we worked with were charming and sweet and lovely people that I would consider friends now. Julia Sent on 06/19/2018After having been to Santorini in 2016 already, we decided to come back one year later with our families to celebrate our wedding. The hotel recommended two wedding planners and after some emails we decided to go for Poema. Maya, Matina and the whole team was really great so we can only recommend them too. A few months before the big day took place, we exchanged numerous emails in order to make sure that everything will work perfectly well. I have to admit that it feels really strange to give your wedding planning into someone else's hands, especially as I am used to plan big events on my own. But you are too far away from the island so you have to rely on them. Decorations, wedding cake, musicians, cars, lights, photographers etc. Poema has a big list of people they are working together so you "just" have to choose what you would like to have. Although we changed our minds sometimes in order to stay within our budget, they were always fine. One day before the wedding, we went to their office to discuss last details. It is a little hard to find the office as there is no sign outside, but finally we managed it :-) The whole team gave us a warm welcome and assured us that everything would be perfect for next day. And indeed, it was truly magical. The flowers were exactly as per the pictures we sent, the wedding cake was really delicious, our photographer George was simply awesome and it was great to have the team with us. Our dream came true!
