This Venue was perfect for our wedding in May, 2024. Nancy and her husband were incredible host who made us feel like part of the family. They were there all day the day of the wedding to serve us breakfast, and hlep us have the most beautiful wedding! We loved our experience here!

Had our wedding here September 2021 and cannot recommend this place enough!!! It's a beautiful, great location for guests traveling from out of area, and great customer service from Nancy! Nancy was so sweet, helpful, and friendly through the entire process. I loved our wedding here for so many reasons including the beautiful scenery, multiple options for ceremony and reception (even rain plans if needed!), and you get the place for the whole weekend (Fri night to sun morning) which made cleaning up so stress free! Nancy even makes you breakfast after your wedding (Sunday) as well as made breakfast for me and my bridal party the day of the wedding. Highly highly recommend!
We stayed on property (which was included in our package) and the rooms are great! Would recommend getting ready with your bridal party there!

Nancy was an absolute delight to work with, so organized and prepared for everything! She even provided fishing wire and a needle when my dress ripped in a split second! She took care of everything the day of. My new Husband and I enjoyed every second of our big day and breakfast was top notch!

Incredible Venue
This venue is amazing! Having the whole weekend for the wedding was so helpful, and less stressful. Nancy goes above and beyond to make sure the experience is perfect. Her breakfasts are 5 star, so great! Having multiple ceremony & reception areas was a huge plus for wedding style/aesthetic & WEATHER, again less stress! You really cant beat the price for what you are getting. The property is absolutely beautiful! Also getting 3 rooms to accommodate getting ready for each party, our little ones once the night got late, and my grandmother was a huge plus. It was perfect for our smaller, more intimate wedding. Truely magically ❤️

This venue, is absolutely breathtaking any time of the year, although I may be biased to say fall is the best. Nancy is a fantastic, and accommodating owner, she is very quick to respond, and she is very resource. Each morning (we had the venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) and it was so delicious each time.
I can not recommend this venue enough, there was a space for everything and offering indoor and outdoor ceremony options.

Easy, perfection!
I’m so glad I came across Pleasant View for a previous event. This is such a secret gem! Nancy and Mike are such amazing hosts making sure you and your guests feel at home during your wedding. Nancy guided us along every step of the way and made the process as easy as imaginable. You even get the venue for the entire weekend, much less stress! Sharpe Intimate Ceremony
Nancy and Mike were both wonderful to work with. They were very accepting of our thoughts and offered their suggestions to make the day very special. We fell in love with the venue at first sight! We chose to get married by the lake, which reminded us of our yearly family vacation to Canada. Mike did a fantastic job with the vows, and captured our journey as a couple perfect. Nancy & Mike made sure our wedding day was perfect! They drove our guests around on their golf cart since it was cold out, and they made sure everything went as planned. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our stay at the B&B was also amazing. We had 3 rooms all to ourselves and our party. The beds were so comfy! Not to mention Nancy cooked us a homemade breakfast each morning we were there. overall this venue/B&B is amazing and we will be visiting again for future anniversaries!

The best day ever!
Our wedding was an absolute dream, and we are sooo beyond happy that we chose Pleasant View Farms as our venue! From the day we went to view the venue until the day after our wedding, Nancy was absolute amazing. She is super responsive and made sure that everything went perfect the day off. She contacted our vendors ahead of time to ensure they didn't have any questions and kept in close communication with us throughout the entire process. Not to mention the farm is just so quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The breakfast was homemade and tasted amazing. We highly recommend!

Absolute Perfection
If I could give Nancy and Mike at Pleasantview Farms 100 stars, I would. The service and personal touch that was given to our planning and wedding day was exceptional. The farm is absolutely gorgeous. The facilities and buildings were so clean. We were also allowed to do our engagement pictures here and they turned out perfect. Incredible breakfasts were an amazing bonus! We will be returning as guests for the bed and breakfast.

Phenomenal & Breath Taking
I can not say enough about this venue and the owner Nancy. Our daughter just had her wedding at this venue Oct 1, 2022. Not only is the venue beautiful but having the place for three days certainly relives a lot of stress so we could enjoy the big day! The Venue was beautiful and well organized. Nancy the Owner takes care of everything for you. No need to worry on your special day she has it all under control. Greatest Wedding Venue Ever!
Pleasant View Farm is the most beautiful breath taking venue. Pictures online do not do this place enough justice, you have to check this place out in person. In addition to the extremely gorgeous property the owner Nancy is one of the nicest people in the world. Nancy was there for everything helping with every aspect and riding elderly people around in the golf cart. I would give this venue 10 stars out of 5 if I could. We loved Pleasant View Farm and loved Nancy!

From the beginning Nancy was the best! She is so sweet and nice. Her bubbly personality put me at ease through the entire process and she was always quick to reply to my questions (no matter how small). The venue is gorgeous and was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and air conditioned reception! The best thing is you get the venue from Friday afternoon-Sunday afternoon. Having the venue for this time allowed us to set up how we wanted and take our time. The grounds are beautiful for photos and our guests commented at how serene it was. I could not ask for a better experience. The day of the wedding Nancy was there to keep me filled in on vendor arrivals and kept the show going. Would 100% recommend :)

The best decision we made for our wedding!
We had the most amazing and wonderful experience with Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast for our Winter wedding!! Nancy and Mike went above and beyond to help us create the wedding day we always dreamed about! Hands down, this was the best decision we made regarding our wedding! Nancy and Mike were friendly, caring, professional, paid attention to every detail and made our day stress free! The venue was beautiful, extremely clean and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how nice the owners were! Beautiful scenery for photo backgrounds--we even had real deer in our photos!!! Our accommodations were amazing as well--homemade breakfast in the mornings, a real fireplace, extremely clean, jacuzzi tub, snacks & drinks, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! I could go on and on about how amazing this venue is, but you need to see it for yourself and meet Nancy and Mike! Definitely put this on your list of venues to see! You will not be disappointed!!

Perfect Venue and Owner’s for your Dream Wedding!!
In this beautifully restored barn on an impeccable local property we did Wed. First and foremost Nancy "the owner" is amazing, from the first meeting to the farewell, Expect nothing but the Best. Mike "the owner" and Nancy's husband is a hidden jewel, the property is kept amazingly from the main house to the 3 outdoor wedding sites as well as the barn. You can choose a space suited for you, The Barn, The Falls, Lake View or Lake Front.. all are amazing. Then move to the Great Outdoor Patio for Cocktails and then to the heated Stables for the reception. The most amazing part is the setup and tear down time... Start setting up Friday at noon and enjoy the next day and a half because your exit time Isn't until 3pm Sunday. Also included is the Carriage House, 3 immaculate rooms the Bridal party can use the evening before, as well as pre-wedding dressing rooms. We used two for the Bridal party and one for the Groomsmen. Back to Nancy and Mike, the morning of the wedding they serve a gourmet breakfast to the bridal party as well as the Bride and Groom the morning after the wedding. I honestly can't say enough about the venue or the owners. It was truly an amazing experience and more than I ever expected for our wedding.

Amazing Venue, Amazing owner
Pleasant View Farm is such an amazing venue. You get 3 options for ceremony space and 2 for receptions. Having the 2nd reception location gives peace of mind. In the event it rains on your day you can move the ceremony cite to the other building. We chose this venue because you get the whole venue for the entire weekend not just one day. This made me so much less anxious about the day of. Us girls set up on Friday and had a great night and wonderful breakfast Saturday morning! Nancy serves breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings and she is a great cook! Saturday went so smoothly Nancy directed all the vendors to where they needed to be and kept me in the loop on everything that was going on while we were all getting ready. She kept us all on our timeline and helped in so many ways. I can’t imagine doing any of this process without her. From the very beginning she gave me so much information that was incredibly helpful. Including venders lists, helpful tips, and all the checklists to keep me organized and not overwhelmed. I will recommend Pleasant View Farm to every bride I meet from here on out. We love this venue and we love Nancy and her husband!

Me and my husband just had a small elopement type wedding here and we loved it. Nancy and Mike made it a lovely experience. We toured a few venues, but none stood out until this one! Their property has so much to offer with so many different areas to use for your event! The price was right with the time you had on the farm. Our guests absolutely loved the beautiful land and how maintained it was. There was a storm that went through the night before our wedding, and Mike did not hesitate to get it cleaned up and beautiful looking again! Zach and I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing place to have our wedding!

Breathtaking venue with wonderful accommodations. Nancy is very responsive and knows exactly how to help make your wedding the best experience possible. She provides monthly guides on where you should be in the wedding planning process as well as several meetings throughout the planning process to make sure there is a clear understanding on how the big day is going to be ran. On the day of Nancy really is wonderful. Constantly circling the venue is helping the whole day transition smoothly. By having the venue Friday-Sunday it creates a relaxing environment so as the bride and groom you can enjoy your wedding weekend. Best of all Nancy even cooks a homemade breakfast for both Saturday and Sunday morning. I had an absolute pleasure working with Nancy to make our big day better then imagined.

Makes Dreams Possible
I knew what I wanted, but all of the venues, we toured were either crazy expensive or didn't include a lot. I was starting to get disheartened when a friend suggested I tried Pleasant View. Nancy has it all! You get the entire property for 3 days, which takes away so much stress and allows you to have fun setting up and decorating. Did I mention it is a bed and breakfast? Nancy will cook you the best breakfast and serve you in the cutest farmhouse dining room.
The venue comes with tables and chairs, a borrowing closet, and three different options for your ceremony location. Additionally, you get to work with Nancy who goes above and beyond. She has a preferred vendor list, wedding checklists, and sample timelines. She will even make a floor plan for you and drive guests around on her golf cart. Our guest couldn't get over how nice the venue was; and it was a wonderful day had by all.

When we first looked at the property, we knew this was our wedding venue. It has a few options for ceremonies, cocktail hour and reception. There are rooms on site which accommodates guests incredibly. Another bonus was having the venue for 3 days to allow time to decorate and tear down. Pleasant Weekend at Pleasant View
Nancy and Mike are fabulous hosts. Their property is both beautiful immaculate. Nancy puts all things into consideration to ensure you have a comfortable stay and your event goes off without a hitch. I would highly recommend for events or even just a weekend stay. I know I didn’t want to leave.

The Perfect Wedding Weekend
Nancy was also so helpful to us during our wedding planning even in the middle of the craziness of the pandemic. She was always so professional and helpful during the wedding planning experience. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and are what really swayed us to choosing this venue. Nancy and Mike are very kind and personal and are amazing hosts. We will definitely be back to visit the B&B!

Beautiful sunny day on the farm
This was the one and only venue my husband and I viewed we feel in love Instantly. Our wedding was nothing short of amazing, my husband and I were married in the barn it is so beautiful and rustic it doesn’t require much decor very easy set up! The stables where our reception was held was also so beautiful the perfect amount of space for all of our family and friends. Nancy is absolutely AMAZING she sends wedding check lists to help you prepare. She also helps the keep the entire wedding in line and everything perfect. Let’s not forget she also cooked us an delicious breakfast both Saturday and Sunday. Nothing is rushed we had plenty of time Friday to set everything up conduct our rehearsal, Sunday we had most of the day to finish cleaning up. I would recommend this venue for anyone who is looking for a beautiful rustic wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I honestly have nothing bad to say. We plan to come back to the farm on our anniversary. Thanks again Nancy for all that you do! After 3 years of planning I’m happy we finally made it happen!

Simply Stunning
Pleasant View Farm Bed & Breakfast is simply stunning. Have you ever been somewhere and you have a smiling face that greets each and every person with in moments of your arrival. Nancy is amazing at this... she will greet everyone who arrives as well as being there as soon as you walk out of the cottage to greet you. When we saw the property my husband and I fell in love instantly. Nancy's husband has amazing craftsman skills and makes the property welcoming. Planning a wedding during COVID was not the easiest, but Nancy put ease to the process and made me feel relief knowing that I could still have my dream wedding on one of the most poplar 2020 dates. And don't forget the wonderful home cooked food that Nancy makes! The amount that we paid for this venue was great! You get the property for Friday-Sunday for your wedding, access to the property, amazing meals, AND a warm welcoming family.

Wonderful Venue
My husband and I were married at Pleasant View Farm in October 2020. Nancy and Mike are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time and didn’t have to worry. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to the reception and ceremony for a wedding which makes this venue different and as an added plus it is very affordable. You truly get the bang for your buck when you plan your wedding at the farm! Overall, best experience we could have hoped for for our wedding!

Let me start by saying Nancy is unbelievable! She made the whole experience stress-free, and beautiful. The Farm is GORGEOUS, and there are several areas to have your ceremony/reception. We picked the lakeside for our ceremony which was breathtaking and we chose the stables for our reception which fit our fall themed wedding perfectly! Having the venue from Friday-Sunday made the experience so comfortable, and Nancy's breakfast are fabulous! We couldnt be more happy with our experience!

Every Couples Dream Venue
My husband and I booked our wedding at Pleasant View Farm nearly 2 years ago. We fell in love with the natural beauty of the venue and were in awe of the amazing customer service we received from Nancy the moment we stepped foot onto the property. Unfortunately our special day in June 2020 was impacted by COVID, however Nancy went above and beyond to make things as easy and stress free as possible for us. There are not enough words to describe how grateful my husband and I are for how Nancy treated our situation and how flexible she was in making sure we still were able to have an amazing ceremony and reception. Our actual wedding day was nothing short of magical. We were able to hold a private ceremony at the lake with our parents and a few of our siblings and very closest friends. Nancy made sure that the day ran smoothly and was there for whatever we needed! Since we were not able to have our reception that day, she was kind enough to allow us to host our reception for a later date. Again, Nancy did everything to make sure this day was just as perfect as our ceremony. We had so much fun and received countless compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue and surrounding property was. Nancy worked closely with our vendors to make sure everyone knew where to go and what time to arrive. ALL of our vendors commented on how much they enjoyed working at Pleasant View Farm and how prompt and professional the service was that they received. Without a doubt, I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, quaint, and welcoming atmosphere for their wedding or other event! We can't wait to come back for weekend stays at the Inn!

PERFECT venue for any season!!
Everything was perfect! We got married in December and the venue was absolutely breathtaking! I was so pleased, not only with how beautiful this venue is, but how helpful Nancy (the owner) is and what is included. The barn is breathtaking and was the perfect backdrop for our chilly November ceremony. There were multiple photo-op locations that are all stunning and the reception hall is perfect. We had access to the whole property for Friday-Sunday, which was great for our rehearsal, getting ready with my bridesmaids in the morning, and having our ceremony and reception. Breakfast is included both days and was delicious! And Nancy is with you every step of the way, offering helpful checklists to keep everything in order leading up to your big day. Highly recommend!

The Only Venue We Looked At!
We have nothing but good things to say about Pleasant View Farm Bed & Breakfast. It was the only venue we looked at, and we knew right away it was a great fit for us. Right from the start, we liked that it had an indoor and outdoor option for the ceremony and a heated/air conditioned option for the reception. We also liked that we were able to use the venue from midday Friday through midday Sunday so we had plenty of time to set up and clean up, while still being able to relax and enjoy our wedding. We enjoyed staying on the property on Friday and Saturday nights and the amazing breakfasts Nancy cooked for us each morning. Nancy seemed to think of everything from recommending vendors, to sending out regular checklists, to having all of the necessary amenities in the rooms, to providing direction and updates on the day of the wedding. We received lots of compliments on the property from our guests as well. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day amazing!

Picture Perfect Wedding
Nancy and Mike at Pleasant View Farms Bed and Breakfast were absolutely AMAZING to work with. We had to adjust our original plans due to some unexpected family circumstances and they were SO understanding and flexible with us. Our wedding ended up being VERY tiny with only about 30 guests, but Nancy still treated us the same as if we were having a much larger event, every detail was addressed and discussed with us so that we could feel prepared and excited as our day approached. It was so nice to work with people who were so caring and really treated us like family. On our wedding day everything was beautiful and Nancy helped to keep everything running smoothly, checking in on me, getting guests and vendors to where they needed to go, and making sure everyone had everything they needed.
Breakfast the morning after our wedding was a buffet for us, our children from our previous marriages and our parents, 9 people total. Nancy had put so much thought into planning a meal that would be perfect for both our young children as well as the adults. She nailed it -- delicious baked french toast, fresh fruit and an egg and sausage casserole, among other things. It was the perfect cozy meal in a perfect cozy setting, to start off our first full day as a married couple.
I am SO glad that we decided to go with Pleasant View Farms for our wedding! Thank you SO much for everything Nancy!!! :)

This place was not only in my backyard and I didn't know about it but the quality, professionalism and accommodations were unexpectedly more then what we could have experienced. Top knotch owners and facility! The bed in honeymoon sweet was amazing, the accommodation were amazing. Nancy was a dream to work with for our wedding. She even provides you with a list of venders if needed. Helps with layout too😊 $1400 venue, $250 honeymoon suite.

I don’t even know how to start this review! Nancy and Pleasant View Farm bed and breakfast were so so amazing! Nancy was a HUGE help in every step of planning our wedding. Every little question I had, she had an answer or solution, and quick! The farm it self is absolutely breathtaking and speaks for itself honestly. Last minute we had to change our reception from the barn to the stables and Nancy was incredible in helping us make the change and making it go smoothly and peacefully. Having a peace of mind was such a gift in this time. We loved every second there and can’t wait to visit for anniversary’s or “just because life” trips!

I can’t think of a single negative thing to say here. Nancy’s hospitality was amazing, her breakfast was delicious, and her property is beautiful. My wedding guests were gushing all day about how beautiful the farm was. Throughout the whole planning process Nancy was extremely responsive to all of my questions and on the day of the wedding she really helped everything run smoothly. Staying at the inn with our 4 best friends and having all weekend to set up and tear down were just the icing on the cake. I can’t think of any other wedding venue that gives that much value for the price we paid.

Nancy and Mike are the nicest people to work with and own an amazingly beautiful property. Our guests couldn't stop raving about Pleasant View - from the ceremony site (lakeside) to the cocktail hour on the patio and the rustic barn where we held our reception, everyone was blown away by how gorgeous our day was. The property is right off the highway but has a remote and private feel. Nancy goes above and beyond by sending periodic checklists to keep you on track with planning and interacts with your vendors so that your day is as stress-free as possible. We also appreciated her going around taking photos so not even the little details will be forgotten! Having the venue the entire weekend makes setting up and tearing down a breeze, and it's so helpful to have the option of multiple sites for your ceremony/reception on the property. Nancy provides amazing breakfasts the morning of and after your wedding, and you can tell she and Mike greatly value the couples they work with, as well as their family and friends. My husband and I just happened to come across Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast Inn as we first began our wedding planning process and I will forever be grateful that we did. It was hands down the best decision we made in the chaos of planning our wedding.
From the very beginning and throughout the months and days leading up to our wedding, Nancy responded to our questions in a timely manner and provided thorough information about the venue and options available. Also, she was so organized and knowledgeable, which was a huge help. In addition to that, Nancy provides a wonderful and delicious breakfast each morning. It was wonderful being able to access the farm starting Friday, stay the night and then be there all day for our wedding, plus be able to stay the night of our wedding and have until 3 PM the next day to get everything cleaned up.
We could not say enough about how wonderful Nancy and Mike are. Their hospitality, kindness, and beautiful souls surely made our special day that much more special. We look forward to returning to the farm in the future for our anniversary.
We highly recommend this venue for any event, but especially your wedding. It’s a beautiful venue with the best owners and it’s so affordable! We had so many guests that commented on how beautiful the property is! :)

This was such an excellent place! From the moment we saw it we knew it was the place! Nancy is also so great to work with! The location and knowing you can have everything in one place was awesome!! I would recommend them to anyone!

Nancy and her husband and their beautiful piece of land made my wedding the dream come true i wanted. Peaceful and the hospitality was something wonderful to add to our beautiful day! We will definitely be back for a B&B!!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pleasant View! Nancy and her entire family are so welcoming and do genuinely make you feel as if your at home. She kept me up to date with monthly wedding checklists, she is prompt to respond to any emails/texts, and just checked in on us from time to time. The entire property is so beautiful and well maintained.( Every time i was there her husband was out enhancing the property in some way!) We were told numerous times by our wedding guests that the venue was amazing. It rained the entire week of and on our wedding day, and our family and friends were still out exploring the property. But if you ask my husband he will say the best part of staying at Pleasant View B&B is the BREAKFAST. The day that we came home he immediately asked me to try and find a recipe close to Nancy's lemon-blueberry bread lol Highly recommend!

Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t more happy that we found this little piece of heaven. Nancy went above and beyond to assist us in planning, checklist and recommending the best vendors for our wedding. We didn’t feel rushed and were able to sit back and enjoy the entire weekend with our friends and family. Nancy and Mike were so welcoming and made us feel like family. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We are so happy that we choose Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast for our once in a lifetime wedding!

Nancy at pleasant view farm was amazing! We had our ceremony and reception there last weekend. The whole wedding process with her was easy and fun. She has a beautiful venue and I am so glad we decided to go with her. Rain or shine it is truly the perfect place. Everything about Pleasant View is fabulous and beautiful!! You feel right at home when meeting Nancy and touring the farm. She and Mike made our intimate wedding exactly how I imagined and more! My husband Bryon and I were married on 9/17/2016 at this beautiful venue and I think it was the best decision we could have made!! Nancy and Mike and her family are absolutely wonderful hosts and go above and beyond with service and communication. The bed and breakfast carriage house is so spacious and the beds were so comfy. We felt right at home. Nancy cooked an amazing breakfast for us on our wedding day...probably the best I've ever had. One thing you can count on if you pick this venue is a beautiful backdrop with sooo many beautiful photo opportunities. The barn is beautiful. Nancy is one of a kind. She will absolutely make sure your special event is perfect. I want to relive this weekend over and over. Thank you so much! ?

I honestly do not even know where to start, Nancy with Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast Inn is absolutely phenomenal. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and that your event runs smoothly. My husband and I had our wedding here and used her beautiful barn for our reception! Nancy is so professional and has so much knowledge when it comes to planning an event. I had no idea how much really goes into planning a wedding and Nancy would help keep me on track and send me checklists throughout the year to help me stay organized and be prepared for what is ahead. I added wedding planning to the services provided here because without her my wedding would not of went as smoothly as it did. She referred us to most of our vendors, which all the ones she recommended were great, and she was there to keep the calm when something was not going as planned. (The DJ that I hired showed up with broken equipment and she handled the entire situation and not one person knew there was even as issue!). She provides breakfast the morning of the wedding and the next day - I probably will run out of room if I go into detail how amazing her food was!!! Just make sure if you have your wedding there or you are an out of town guest staying at the B&B, you request her zucchini bread! Nancy and her family make you feel at home while you are there and my wedding began to feel like a family reunion, everyone had a great time!!!! Pleasant View Farm is a ONE-STOP-SHOP for everything you are looking for. I will recommend Nancy and her Farm to every person I know! We took one look at this beautiful bed and breakfast and knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding at. It's gorgeous, quiet, romantic and unique. It's also very convenient because being a B&B, our family could stay there and spend more time together. The owner, Nancy was extremely helpful from the moment we booked her venue. All throughout the year she sent us wedding checklists to make sure we didn't forget to do anything. She's very knowledgeable about the local vendors to assist in creating the best wedding team for your day. She's also an incredible and talented cook and our breakfast was delicious. Our wedding day was the best day ever and I couldn't imagine it without Pleasant View Farm. We plan on comimg back for our anniversary. Thank you so very much!!

We had our wedding at Pleasant View on September 26th 2015. It's a beautiful and unique venue and perfect for an intimate and romantic setting. Nancy, the owner, helped us tremendously along the way. She was quick and helpful in responding to phone calls and emails. She sent wedding checklists along the way to keep us on track and helped to run our rehearsal the night before. She gave us advice and was calm, kind and extremely welcoming. We forgot to rent a table for our ceremony and did not realize until the day of the wedding. Nancy had a perfect little table that fit right in with our vintage wedding theme. She also makes the best breakfast I have ever had! Guests were impressed and raving about the farm the entire reception. Best wedding decision we made was choosing Pleasant View :)

Nancy McKinney of Pleasant View Farms B&B was an absolute joy to work with. She has a true gift for hospitality and welcomed all of our shower guests into her beautiful home. She was more than accommodating to our needs including recommending a caterer who was fantastic. Nancy helped to make my daughter's bridal shower all that I hoped it would be. We had a beautiful day and I can't thank Nancy enough for everything she did to make it a memorable day for all of us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a beautiful but warm and homey venue for a bridal shower or wedding. Pleasant View Farms was the perfect venue for our rustic shabby chic wedding. Everything was in full bloom & so green which made for a gorgeous backdrop for our pictures.
The McKinney family was so hospitable & the breakfast that Nancy made both days was amazing!!
Nancy was very attentive to us through the whole planning process & she always answered emails in a timely manner.
What I loved most was that we had access to the farm from Friday-Sunday which made for a very relaxing wedding "weekend". We look forward to returning for our anniversary.

This venue offers the perfect balance between a rustic aesthetic and an all around romantic experience. The picturesque landscape makes for some beautiful settings for the ceremony as well photographs. Nancy was extremely helpful from our first visit throughout the entire process, offering helpful suggestions and a truly relaxed and personalized environment for the whole weekend.
Some of our favorite moments included:
An evening bonfire the night before the wedding for us and our wedding party.
Nancy's special touches like our hay ride for the kids and special considerations during our delicious breakfasts made it a great experience for the whole family.

Pleasant View was the perfect venue for us!! Nancy and Mike were so helpful throughout the planning process and on the day of our wedding. We loved the Carriage House and were able to have an intimate gathering with close friends after the reception. Breakfast the next day with overnight guests was the perfect end to our wedding weekend! We plan on going back for our first anniversary to be able to enjoy all the cool aspects of the B&B!

Our experience was beyond our dreams. The venue was absolutely breathtaking in itself, which makes decorating a breeze. The rooms were great, and Nancy is so sweet and helpful! We had a lot of out of town guests and everyone was blown away. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

My Daughter moved to California and met the man of her dreams.
She wanted to come home for the wedding so the long distance planning began.
I looked at local B&B's and knew quickly that Pleasant View Farms was the best choice.
So my daughter and I started a pin board on pintrest to share ideas.
The farm is so beautiful. As you drive up the lane lined with trees, all the sites to behold just make you say " wow"
Nancy and Mike have done a fantastic job. It's more than just a B&B. This place is magical and the perfect venue for a fairy tale wedding.
The pictures on their site a re good but you will be blown away when you visit in person. Pictures just do not capture how lovely it truly is.
My daughter upon seeing it for the first time, just a few days before the wedding said" there are so many places around the farm that would be a beautiful spot to get married"
Our spot was under two apple trees that create their own arch. perfect.
Our reception was in the barn. This barn is so beautiful that you really don't need much to create a picture perfect space. It's very rustic which makes for great photos and it's also very clean.
The guest rooms were better than expected. Everything was thought of.
Being able to do everything all in one place made planning a wedding so much easier and Nancy was so wonderful to work with. Not only did she always get back to me right away, she was helpful with ideas and was an outstanding hostess.
I am so glad we chose this place to make my daughter's dreams come true. It really was magical.

We had our wedding ceremony at Nancy's bed and breakfast and it was fantastic from beginning to end! Nancy was very responsive to any emails I sent her with questions and would check in with me to make sure I didn't need anything in the months before the wedding. Nancy and Mike were a HUGE help the day before the wedding as my fiancé, mom and I were setting up the ceremony site (next to the pond). No request was unreasonable and you could tell that both of them were there to make your day perfect.
The day of the wedding was fantastic! We were able to take pictures all over the property and managed to get some with the horses in the background grazing. All of my friends asked where I found this beautiful place and were very impressed with how wonderfully kept the grounds were. You do not just get a bed and breakfast at Pleasant View, you get a full venue including beautiful grounds, a pond, waterfalls, horses, gardens and more! I would absolutely recommend Nancy and Mike to anyone looking for a smaller yet elegant and beautiful wedding!

Nancy was wonderful we planned our wedding in one month and Nancy went above and beyond to help us pull everything together. The day was perfect! We had a winter wedding an we could not have found a more beautiful place at christmas time she had everthing decorated so nicely. We stayed at the bed and breakfast it was very clean and cozy love the fireplace and hot tub having both was a bonus especially for the price we definitely got our moneys worth the morning coffee and breakfast were amazing also. My guests and vendors were very pleased. What a beautiful place.

Our wedding and reception at Pleasant View were AMAZING! The property is visually breathtaking from the moment you pull into the driveway, complete with waterfalls, a pond, carriage house, and horses serenely grazing in the pasture.
After meeting Mike & Nancy McKinney for a brief tour, we were hooked! They are friendly, professional, industrious, talented, resourceful, knowledgeable...yet humble. Nancy graciously provided us with contacts for artisans (I can't call them vendors) who prepared the fabulous food, flowers, and cake.
Nancy was quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. Her attention to detail was extraordinary. She simplified the entire process -- yet made us look fabulous!
Our reception on the patio was picture-perfect. We stayed with family and friends in the gorgeous Carriage House suites -- again, the rooms are beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable.
Breakfast the next morning (yes, Nancy prepared breakfast for ten of us) added another touch of fabulosity! I loved the way our flowers were incorporated into the main house the next morning at breakfast. Beautiful!
Our guests are still raving about Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast Inn, and I can't stop gushing about it. We were pretty certain our experience was going to be great -- the McKinney family made it spectacular!

Pleasant View Farm Bed & Breakfast is the most beautiful place to hold a wedding! My husband and I were married there in Sept 2012 and it was the barn wedding we dreamed of - the perfect place for a rustic barn wedding with burlap runners, beautiful flowers in large tin pails, and antique Mason jars . Everyone is still raving about it!! The grounds are so beautiful with green grass, horses roaming, waterfalls, etc. Nancy and Mike, the owners, are so friendly and care so much about making your day special that I has a great time planning with them. The inn itself is gorgeous. My family stayed in the rooms which were clean, spacious and decorated well. There is even a family suite for family with kids! Nancy treats guests like family, making homemade breakfasts and desserts. She had done so much for me that I told her to relax the day after my wedding, but she did not listen! ; ). She made my family the most amazing breakfast, served beautifully and let the kids "help" feed the chickens! I will tell you that if you have dreamed of a barn wedding, visit this farm. We had our wedding at Pleasant View and Nancy was INCREDIBLE. She writes a personal note left (with chocolate!) in each room and makes you feel welcome and at home.
CEREMONY:
Weather was gorgeous for our wedding ceremony rehearsal on the dock of their Lake Pleasant (so many photo ops there!) and the morning of our wedding, but by the afternoon it downpoured. Nancy, her husband and many of our friends helped us make a quick decision to move the ceremony into the foyer. It was very intimate and in the end I liked it so much better than on the dock!
RECEPTION:
We decided to have our reception in the newly restored 18th-century barn, and it was positively BEAUTIFUL when we walked in! Nancy redid the floor, hung new lights including twinkle lights, overhead lights, wall sconces and even 2 chandeliers! All we had to do was wind tulle and ribbon around the beams and it was perfect! The heat (August 4th) was a bit much but a few fans helped a lot.
SERVICE and FOOD:
As I said, Nancy is incredible. She checked in with us every step of the way without being intrusive. She even got teary-eyed as I walked down the aisle, though she'd only known me from a couple visits! The house was clean, the animals were friendly (including the kids, haha...), and the food was UNBELIEVABLE. Breakfast is well worth a little extra money! I wish Nancy could make me breakfast every day :) Homefries cooked in bacon grease, homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, blueberry pancakes, bagels, coffee, quiche, the whole nine yards. I've never been stuffed with such goodness!
SUMMARY:
Pleasant View was easily the best choice for our wedding, and Nancy goes above and beyond to make your visit perfect, rain or shine!
