Amazing band and great people too!

Platinum Band played our wedding and far exceeded our expectations. They were professional, and kind, and timely, and musically amazing! They blew our expectations out of the water. They learned our first dance song - which is by a very unorthodox band (Phish) and they crushed it! At one point during that song I wasn't sure if they were playing a recording of it or playing it themselves. They were definitely playing it themselves. And they learned a few Taylor Swift songs for my 21 yo daughter (two in particular that are favs of hers) and brought her up on stage to sing them with the band. This was very special and memorable for her. This is an amazing group of musicians and great people too. You can not go wrong having them at your party, event, wedding, etc.

Excellent band! 10/10

I have had the pleasure of working with Platinum for 12+ years as an event planner and seeing them at friends weddings, so it was an easy choice to hire them for my own wedding and they were a huge hit!! 100% recommend!

Platinum Band brings the fun!

Could not recommend Platinum Band Atlanta enough! We knew about Platinum because they played at my sister's wedding and were a blast, so they were the first vendor we booked for our wedding! Platinum has a wide-ranging and comprehensive song list and were willing to work with us on other songs we wanted played. Virginia is organized and effective in planning. We had the best time at our wedding and so many guests have commented on how fun the band was! The dance floor was full the entire night!

MUST HAVE for your event!!

The Platinum Band Atlanta made my wedding a night to remember for my groom & I and every single one of our guests!! People were on the dance floor before there was even a dance floor. They are fun, entertaining, amazingly talented, and a MUST HAVE for your wedding/event!!

The best wedding band!

This band is fabulous, in fact, all our guests love them. My only regret is that we did not have them play an extra hour! We did opt for a dj (which Platinum provided), for 1 hour at the end of the night & he was just so-so.
Platinum got the guests on that dance floor! We had a hora which they played perfectly & for the right amount of time, very impressive.
I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Best Wedding Band Out There!

If you're looking for a wedding band in the Atlanta area -- look no further, this is it!!! We booked Platinum Band for our wedding this past October and were incredibly impressed by their talent, stage presence and professionalism!! Virginia, Gus, and the rest of the band were super easy to work with and were very accommodating to our asks and special requests. As live music lovers we really appreciated that they brought a professional sound team with them to ensure the levels and mix were appropriate. They sounded fantastic from anywhere in the venue. Platinum helped us create the most memorable wedding for us and our guests and everyone were blown away by the talent and energy they gave off. Multiple guests even made a point to tell me they were the best wedding band they've ever seen! Thanks for truly elevating our wedding to the best day ever.

Bring your dancing shoes!!!

Platinum has played at our yearly fundraiser for over 8 years. Virginia and her team are so easy to work with and are very responsive. They play a great mix of music from yesterday to today. From Motown to Prince, bring your dancing shoes!!!

Perfect Band for a Wedding

Could not have been happier with the band and all the members. Song list we picked was perfect and very well performed. I promise you cannot go wrong with this band. Price was very reasonable, and Virginia was very accommodating from start to finish.
Promise you will be very happy with this band!! Plan to use them again in the future.

Choose Platinum Band Atlanta as your wedding band!!!!

Platinum Band Atlanta NEEDS to be your band for your event! They performed at our wedding and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing our band was, even days and weeks later. Virginia is the sweetest person ever and a joy to work with. They played during our ceremony (keyboard), cocktail hour (guitar), and reception (full band). Virginia will tailor a package to fit your needs! They learned a song for us and did AMAZING at performing it. Every one of their artists is incredible and brought the party. Additionally, the set up crew was also outstanding and the lights and sound helped bring the party. I wish we could get married again so we could use them for our reception a 2nd time!! They’re the reason we have such fond memories of our wedding night.

Platinum Band is fantastic!

We hired Platinum Band for our post-Covid post-wedding party held in February, 2022. The entire experience was fantastic. Working with Virginia up front to decide details like timing, music, etc. was great - she was very responsive and open to our requests. The party itself was off the chart! The dance floor was full the entire time. After the party, everyone remarked "Wow, that band was fantastic!". If you're needing a band, you cannot go wrong by hiring Platinum Band.

Joyfulled, stressless.

Planning a wedding is stressful but when you are the parents of the bride it elevates to a new level. The list of " what to do " is overwheling. One of the biggest decisions is the band. It sets the tone / mood for the reception. But be assured, Platinum Band Atlanta will be one of the best decisions made in planning the event. We received many complements throughout the evening.
Little did we know that many of our guests had also used Platinum Band Atlanta for their daughter/ son weddings.

Great Performance and Energy

I am a planner and have the privilege of working with many bands. Platinum Band was amazing to work with! Virginia is communicative, accommodating, and flexible, especially as we navigated this wedding during a pandemic!

On the wedding day, they had tremendous energy! Their introduction of the bridal party, announcements,, spotlight dances and party-time, all flawless!!

I am also thankful to their AV team, they managed our ceremony sound needs, managed toasts and announcements during the reception, and constantly monitored the space to ensure a high-quality event!

I highly recommend checking out their song list and speaking with Virginia before your next event!

This was not our first wedding, nor our first time hiring a band, so we feel comfortable saying how instrumental you were to an amazing, seamless, personalized, low stress, high energy wedding reception. Because of your meticulous advanced planning, you were able to deliver an unbelievable performance. All through the reception and weeks beyond we continue to hear how fantastic the Platinum Band was! Platinum Band - Simply Fabulous

The Platinum Bank was amazing! My husband and myself wanted nothing more than to dance all night with our sweet family and friends at our reception...and dance we did! The music and energy from the band was incredible. Our guests did not want the party to end! Working with the band leading up to the wedding was great as well. So friendly and easy to communicate with.

Could not ask for a better band!

The band was one of the most important decisions for us in order to make our reception a success. In fact, it was the first thing we booked. We went with the 10-piece option and Platinum Band was amazing. Our dance floor was filled the entire night -- and guests are still talking about how amazing the music was. My only regret is that the reception couldn't last any longer. If you are considering Platinum Band -- don't hesitate any longer. It will be a decision you will not regret!

Best Wedding Band in Atlanta!

Virginia is a gem to work with! The band was spectacular and made our wedding reception a resounding hit.

My family is from Louisiana, so we had a second line procession into the reception from the cocktail hour - from the first notes played by the brass, we knew that they were ready to create a wonderful, celebratory atmosphere that would last until the very last song.

It was also such a treat to sing with the band! As a musician, it was so refreshing to partner with the amazing Platinum professionals. They were incredible every step of the way and made our special day even more magical than we could have dreamed. We cannot thank them or recommend them enough!! Hands down the best wedding band in Atlanta.

One of the best decisions of our wedding

We saw Platinum perform at a friend's wedding and after everyone had raved (including us), we knew we wanted the same for our wedding. They were equally great this time, if not better. We had started with wanting the 6 piece band and then decided to splurge for 10 pieces and it was one of the best decisions of our evening (you have to have the horns). In addition to being fantastic performers and musicians and keeping everyone dancing, they also found musical-theater singers for a couple of songs from musicals we wanted to sprinkle in for the first and last dance. Both were excellent. They also provided the pre-ceremony and ceremony piano music and a cocktail hour trio, so all our music was handled through one contact. Finally, Virginia, the band lead and owner/manager, was professional, responsive, fun, and is a very cool combination of organized business manager and kick-a$$ performer and singer on stage. We loved working with them. Do it. :)

We spent a lot of time listening and conversing with bands to determine the right fit for our wedding. The Platinum Band filled every expectation we could have imagined, you will not be disappointed. Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed The Platinum Band. Virginia was paid special attention to the details of our wedding, including time line, what we expected from them, to the correct pronunciation of our bridesmaids and groomsmen. Our wedding was perfect and The Platinum Band was the cherry on top! We highly recommend this band!

Guests at our reception LOVED this band! I got so many complements after the wedding that people had so much fun and that the music was great. The moms went wild and there were guests singing and dancing with the band on stage all night. They played for 4 hours and only took 2 breaks! My only complaint is that they didn't play a few of the songs that we specifically requested, but I was okay with them taking some artistic lead on the set list and giving the people what they wanted instead. We had their guitarist play acoustic for our ceremony, and they were able to accommodate for the four meaningful songs that we requested. Virginia, the band manager and lead singer, was great to work with as well! I would recommend them to anyone in/around Atlanta, and I think everyone who attended our reception would too!

The Platinum Band were amazing for our summer Atlanta wedding. I received numerous compliments from family and friends all night long about the quality of the band. They made our special night over the top in the best way possible.

When I got engaged, my top priority was finding a band. I gladly handed over most all other planning to my mom, but I took weeks watching different videos, asking for referrals, and doing research to find the best band for our wedding. Platinum band exceeded all expectations and booking them was the best decision we could have made. Throughout the planning process, Virginia was extremely helpful and accommodating and even drove to our venue to meet with them to discuss power requirements. In the end, we ended up needing to use a generator which Virginia helped us find a good deal on. She also had such helpful insight on the timeline of the evening so she played an active role in planning the whole reception. During the wedding, all of our guests had an absolute blast. I had numerous people come up to me DURING the reception to say, "Best band ever." The song list was diverse and they played something for everyone...from grandparents to college kids. All songs transitioned into a new, equally energetic song which kept everyone on the dance floor from the time the cake had been cut to when it was time to leave. Every single band member is extremely talented, but you can also tell they really love what they do and love working with each other. The night ended (way too soon) and they surprised us by playing Love on Top by Beyonce which they learned specifically for us...this was in addition to the two other songs they learned specially for us from the first dances. Platinum Band made sure that our guests had an incredible time at our reception which made it the best night possible for Griffin and me.

This band MADE our wedding reception! The photographer said she had never had so many people at a send-off, and it was all because people didn’t want to stop dancing! Our country club already booked them for their 100th anniversary party!!

This is the second time we have engaged Platinum and they were excellent. We even had a power outage during the reception, but Platinum was ready with a generator...we were back up and dancing within 5 minutes. Virginia is a great resource and Platinum had the entire crowd dancing the whole evening.

We had a three piece jazz ensemble for cocktail hour and an eight piece band foe the reception. This band is awesome. Everyone had a great time at our reception. So professional and easy to work with. Best band in Atlanta!!!!

This is the ABSOLUTE best band you could get to make your event such a success! Going on 6th year with them and at our Presidential Gala we want them back year after year! Such great entertainment and up to date music!

I first heard this awesome band, Platinum Band, at a Country Club for a wedding celebration a few months ago, where I was tending bar, and I have been a fan ever since. Having worked at numerous venues throughout the Greater Atlanta area, I have heard a lot of bands. I must say that this band really caught my attention, and stood above all other ones I had previously heard. I took a break from my bar and listened tentatively to this band. They were amazing. They had just about everyone on the dance floor. To put it briefly, there is NO way that anyone could listen to this band, and NOT move their bodies whether at the table, or on the dance floor. They had the ballroom rocking, and were the life of the party. They are a fantastic live party/dance band, no doubt about it!!!

Platinum was the band for our daughter's wedding and they are fabulous! ! Virginia, the owner was a pleasure to work with and so accommodating. Virginia & the band members are all so professional and talented! Our guests danced for hours, raved about the music, enjoyed the reception with many saying it was the best wedding ever and so much of this is credited to this phenomenal band who has all the guests happy and on their feet! The song & play list is extensive & Virginia works with you to create the wedding of your dreams! They are reasonably priced and will make a wedding so very special! From the moment we spoke to Virginia until the last song was played (Don't Stop Believing) the band was a pleasure to work with. Not only did they keep everyone on the dance floor all night they sound great! Everyone I spoke to afterwards wanted to know who the band was and I've heard nothing but praises from all our guests. They had the 21 year olds dancing and the 70 year olds! We didn't want the night to end! If you hire Platinum, you won't be disappointed! I absolutely loved them and you will too!

This band is incredible! I saw Platinum at a charity function and knew they would be perfect for my daughter's wedding. They are incredibly talented, professional and flexible to work with. They really cared about making the evening perfect for the bride and groom, and our guests raved about their versatility and talent. They performed the recessional and processional music, the ceremony music, the cocktail hour and of course the reception. They interacted very well with the crowd, and my daughter couldn't have been happier! Thank you for making their wedding so special!

We searched for a band that was great sound for a good value and Platinum Band was just that! They made the wedding! Appealed to all age groups. My 70 year old aunt was on the dance floor all night, as were the 25 year olds. We didn't want the night to end, we could of danced all night. Virginia was the sweetest and she was always willing to accommodate what the Bride and mother-of-Bride wanted ( and in our case that was alot)! We have had such rave reviews from our guests too about the band. If you hire them, you wont be disappointed and you will have the time of your life, we did!

Book this band!! We saw them at another wedding and I made sure to write their name down (I wasn't even engaged yet!)

Virginia was so wonderful! She made sure every detail was covered, things I would have NEVER thought of! She even contacted our venue to get things set up!

The band was AMAZING! They were super accommodating and entertaining! From learning our first dance song with only a weeks notice to letting my father in law jump on stage! They were on stage jamming out as well as in the crowd singing and dancing with our guests!

It has been a month since our wedding and I still get phone calls from friends and family members raving about how great the band was!

I am a private event planner who deals with high end clientele and having an exceptional band is a must. That said , I have worked with Platinum band on sevreal occasions in the past from Wedding to Corporate events , to holiday parties. Whenever I am in need of a high quality band I book Platinum. Not only is this due to the exceptional talented musicians, singers, and dancers they are, but equally of the professional and detailed management that Virginia provides. Platinum performed at our annual Christmas party this past year. It was a change from the normal DJ so people were apprehensive about getting up and dancing at first. But when Platinum hit the stage they were so interactive that everyone, myself first, filed onto the dance floor. The best thing about dancing and enjoying a song is when I know the actual song. And Platinum had songs for days! They performed so many great tunes from the classics, like MJ, Whitney, EWF, and the list goes on. No matter what was played, there was something for everyone. I had so much fun! The band was prompt, professional, and fully interactive, not to mention enough talent to blow your socks off. Everyone had a feature in a song, and when they stepped to the mic had a beautiful voice and the charisma to hold the attention of the room. I know I'm gushing, but as an artist, I think it's important that when you perform you have the skill to work the room in addition to talent. Otherwise, people get easily and quickly bored and no one has fun. But we sure did have fun that night! I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I'm excited the band will be back for our next party. I've picked out my dress already!!! Thanks for an awesome time and making our Christmas Party that much more special!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Platinum Band! Our wedding was an absolute hit because of them! 3 months later our wedding guests are STILL talking about how awesome our band was. They partied along with our crazy, fun family, and provided the best entertainment for the most special night of our lives. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Super friendly, easy to work with, and even learned new songs just for our night! They were THE BEST!

Platinum was such a fun band and our guests had a blast! We used the 8-piece band and got so many compliments. A few friends had seen Platinum before at other events and were excited to know that was our wedding band, as they knew it meant lots of dancing! We had seen them before at our friend's wedding and knew immediately they were the band we wanted at our wedding. Virginia was great to work with and had helpful suggestions for your timeline. Make sure you know how you want things to flow though as they work with the timeline you provide. Would recommend them to anyone!

The first word that comes to mind when I think about Platinum is PHENOMENAL. I've had the pleasure of hiring Platinum four times now (including my wedding) and they hit it out of the park every single time. My guests continue to comment on how wondering and entertaining the band was, and how their music was the highlight of the evening. Platinum did such a great job of reading the crowd and connecting with them, which was amazing because they knew which songs would appeal to my group. I gave them a play list (which they played) , but they read the crowd and added in amazing and fitting songs wherever they saw fit. Also, they can play (and master) a variety of music - everything from jazz and Motown to classic rock and hip hop. There is nothing they can't play! Additionally, I worked with Virginia once again to book Platinum and get everything set up for my wedding, and she was truly such a pleasure to work with! She was very detailed, responsive, organized and flexible which I greatly appreciated. I can't say enough wonderful things about Platinum, but one thing I will say - I cannot wait to hire them again for my next event! Thanks Virginia and Platinum!

Platinum Band was AMAZING! Every guest who we have spoken to since the wedding has raved about how great the music was. They were energetic and fun the entire night, and we couldn't have been more happy!

On top of that, working with Virginia in the months, weeks and days leading up to the wedding was such a joy. Unlike most of our other vendors, she was always professional, responsive, very knowledgeable and had great suggestions for whatever I came to her with. She went above and beyond to make sure she had all the information she needed to make our night perfect.

There is so much more to choosing vendor for your wedding than how they will perform on the big day. Yes, that is all your guests will care about, but you for you as the bride/groom/planner, there is much more to consider. Choose Platinum because they are the total package!

Platinum came highly recommended by a friend of ours. Virginia was very instrumental in assisting us early in our planning process by providing feedback on venues and recommending our wedding coordinator. Virginia was very responsive, allowed us to come visit another event to preview the band, and was willing to learn our first dance song. They also provided the AV system and an acoustic guitarist for our outdoor wedding and a pianist for our cocktail hour. Platinum brought energy and fun to our reception, encouraging crowd participation. Our guests loved them!

We looked at and previewed a number of bands before hiring Platinum Band. The professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility are the key reasons why we chose them! As a bride, I had a number of worries on the wedding day but the band was not one of them. They delivered everything and more than what we asked - request some of the funky Motown tunes! After the wedding and still to this day, our guests are commenting on how fantastic our wedding band was and how much fun they had dancing all night! Virginia was an absolute pleasure to work with in advance of and at the wedding. The band learned our first dance song perfectly and we could not have asked for anything more. Platinum was the best wedding band that I have ever seen! There played a fantastic range of music, were extremely energetic and interacted with all of our guests. It is with great humble gratitude that I send this note along.
Once upon a time, my daughter and I began making wedding plans. From the start, we differed on opinions as in all weddings that takes place. But one thing that I would not compromise on was the music. Khara wanted a DJ and I wanted a live band. I expressed my thoughts to her and assured her that a good band can do both and do both well. I consider myself to be an extremely picky, skeptical and discerning person in general- as a bride, I was even more so. Thus, when I say that you are the best wedding band that I have ever seen…I mean it!

The song selections, the dancing, the crowd engagement- it was all absolutely PHENOMENAL. Almost every guest that I have spoken to has RAVED about you and commented on the fact that the dance floor was almost ALWAYS full. I have truly never seen anything like that in my life.

I am SOOOO grateful to have had you perform at my wedding, thank you so very much for making the trip. I don't intend on getting married again, but the next time that I plan an event…I will be sure to think of an excuse to book you!

Finally, I would like to mention my appreciation for your patience and flexibility with the play list. It was so amazing of you to learn "Caledonia" for the Groom/Mother dance, we really appreciate it.

Our guests are still raving about Platinum Band! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was on the dance floor, from the ring bearers and flower girls to the grandparents of the bride and groom. Amazing!!!

WOW. Platinum Band was everything we hoped for. They sounded absolutely amazing and everyone had a blast. True professionals. We even requested a sort of out-of-the-box first dance song, and they totally smashed it and played to the band's strengths to make it sound amazing. Lastly, they knew the Hora and played it amazingly!!

Great high energy band!

The manager was easy to work with and helped us plan our day. The band learned my father daughter dance song, played all of our favorites and were very high energy and professional all night. I really wanted a band as opposed to a DJ and their performance justified the expense. What a fun night!
