Great experience and final product!
We met Shawn and his team at a bridal expo in early 2023 and after speaking with him over the phone, booked him for our wedding. Ahead of the wedding we went over everything we desired and envisioned, and Shawn worked with us to make sure he was able to capture what we wanted. He was always thoughtful, accommodating, and creative with us.
Throughout the wedding day Shawn was attentive to everyone, professional, and was always looking for the perfect shots to truly capture our wedding. And he definitely captured it perfectly! After the wedding we continued to stay in touch as we waited for our wedding highlight and full video, and the videos did not disappoint! We received a very thoughtful care package that included our videos plus a movie watching kit with popcorn and candy, something we did not expect.
We would highly recommend Shawn for any event you need a videographer for. Life Saver
I found Pivotal and Shawn through a Social Media referral and after finding them I realized they filmed a friends wedding that I attended. I got them very last minute for my Sons Wedding. Amazing Video!
My husband and I are so so happy with the result of our wedding video!! Shawn did an incredible job and we are so happy that we made the decision to go with Pivitol. We received the video a little later than we were expecting, not sure if that was a misunderstanding on our part, but overall so happy we went with this vendor. Wonderful experience
We are so thrilled that we found Shawn to film our wedding. Ahead of the wedding Shawn was so easy to work with and always quick to respond to questions. On the day of our wedding he went above and beyond to make sure he captured every special moment. Fast forward to after the wedding and we received the links for our highlight and full wedding video. When my husband and I sat down to watch them we were so excited to relive the day, but after watching both I can truly say we were utterly blown away. Not only did Shawn build a beautiful story for us to relive, but he masterfully included our favorite songs and moments. We are beyond thrilled to have the most important day of our life captured for us to relive and share with our future family. Shawn from Pivotal Video Productions was our videographer for our wedding at Woodland Hills Country Club. We knew Shawn through friends and had also met him while he was the videographer for a friend’s wedding. He is amazing. He really took the time to make our video extra special. Things we loved most: 1) worked within our budget; 2) listened to our suggestions; 3) made amazing edits; 4) took some inspiring shots of friends, family, and the event itself; and 5) provided multiple copies on DVD to share with family. Make a really clear decision and have the best videographer, you will be thankful! Shawn digitally put our beautiful event on a forever DVD, so my daughter gets to enjoy watching her Bat Mitzvah over and over again...especially when the night flies by which feels like 5 minutes! Shawn and his crew were hi-tech savy, professional, creative and so darn nice to work with! Shawn also designed my daughter's montage, which was priceless. From our first meeting through delivery, Pivotal Video Productions were very accommodating throughout the whole process. We chose all our favorite songs which they incorporated throughout our video. The crew really captured the feeling of our wedding day. They were so unobtrusive I forgot they were even there. The wedding day goes by so fast that much of it was a blur. Looking at the wedding album is great but our video really helps us relive it. We are so happy we chose Pivotal Video Productions to capture all the moments so we can truly relive that magical day. If you are getting married and are hesitant about hiring a videographer - don't be! Do you really want your Uncle Fred's poorly lit shaky camera phone video as your only record of the day's events? My wife and I didn't originally budget for a videographer, because we thought we could get away with having just a photographer (we ended up having both). Pictures are nice to frame, but they don't completely capture the magic of video - the speeches, the dances, your guests' reactions, the music. The day goes by so quickly, you'll want to capture everything - trust me. We ended up making the right decision choosing Shawn of Pivotal Video Productions to shoot our wedding video at Cimarron Golf Resort in Cathedral City, as well as our Rehearsal Dinner in Palm Springs. Shawn is a complete professional. He used multiple cameras in order to get the best shots at different angles and he edited them together flawlessly (we'll get back to more of that later). He's also a machine - he shot the entire wedding day from when we were getting ready until the last song the DJ played at midnight. He hopped in a golf cart in the 90 degree sun and followed us around while we took our wedding party photos on the golf course. I was dancing with my wife and guests at the end of the night and I look over and Shawn is in the middle of the dance floor with us shooting everything - moving around and catching every dance for what must have been around 3 hours straight. Now back to the editing - WOW! Shawn gave us the raw footage right away and then took some time to edit the footage together into a full wedding video, a highlight real, and the Rehearsal Dinner with speeches. We gave him a few songs to set different scenes to, which he integrated seamlessly into the narrative. Shawn really did capture the magic I felt on my wedding day - and the editing told our story so well. He even had some fun with it and gave us a few surprises as well. Pivotal media was absolutely amazing! They were there when I first arrived at the venue to catch my expression. They were there when I was getting ready... and around throughout the day without getting in my way. Their cameras were small and they were very professional. We did a first dance mash up and they caught it beautifully. They already sent me a copy of it. The owner Shawn was great to work with.
