  Marla and her team know how to get the job done!!!

  Pit Boys catered my husband and I's wedding and we cannot say enough good things about Marla and her team. From the moment we walked into their restaurant for a taste test to all of the planning and then the big day, Marla was flexible, professional and made changes to our guest count last minute with no problem at all. The day of our event her and her team arrived and were prepared to help us do anything they could to make our day amazing. The food was sooooo good for an amazing price, and the service was excellent. The bar tenders and servers were phenomenal! They had to leave and make a trip to get extra alcohol throughout the night and I would have never known because they handled it so smoothly. The shortage of alcohol was a lack of planning on my part not theirs, and they were so go with the flow about having to go get more. Marla is so kind and easy to work with—halfway through the reception she noticed my husbands younger brother was getting blisters from his dress shoes and she TOOK HIM BACK TO THE AIRBNB TO GET NEW SHOES. I was absolutely astonished by her kindness and willingness to help with whatever she could + her and her staff prepared and served AMAZING food for an amazing price. My hubby and I highly recommend Marla and her team for your special event!

  This was the best decision of my wedding. Marla, owner who also worked the wedding, was fabulous. She acted as our day-of planner at no extra cost. She let me drop off all of my decorations before the wedding at her shop so we didn't have to do anything day of... they set it all up too... then, they took it all back after the wedding so I didn't have to worry about cleanup/taking things from the venue that night. We were able to pick up decorations at her shop two days after the wedding. She and her team were awesome... oh, and the food was super great! Nothing super fancy and gross (like many wedding foods)... just solid amazing smoked turkey, pit beef, green beans, etc. etc. Just phenomenal and, again, best decision of our wedding!

  Marla at Pit Boys is a life saver!!! I ate there once and will NEVER go to Sam's on the Waterfront again and don't recommend you go either. Due to the last minute change in location I was left searching for a venue for my guests. Marla came through for me. I arranged to use the Visitor Center Cafe at Quiet Waters Park and Marla covered food and drink for my guests. THANKS Marla, from the bottom of our hearts.

  Used Pit Boys for our rehearsal dinner and the food and service was AMAZING. Being a Maryland girl I had to have crabs, and they steamed them right there on site, it was great! My groom is from Kansas so we also got barbecue from them. Everything we had was well prepared, set out nicely, and they made sure that there was always plenty of food out. Great company to use for any event, such a large menu to choose from!

  Pit Boys catering did a wonderful job for our wedding in Quiet Waters Park - the food was delicious, the staff were incredibly kind, caring, attentive, helpful & sincere. I had wondered how a caterer would respond to my dog being present, but they were extremely accommodating of him, and even seemed to enjoy his presence. They provided beautiful, quality linens & china, assisted with the decorating of the tables as well as the clean up, and overall really made our special day even more enjoyable - bringing a professional yet personable touch to our event. I would highly recommend their services as they did a beautiful job. Thank you!!

  We decided early on in our planning that we wanted barbecue for our wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. My now husband is VERY particular about his barbecue and we tried several places around town before choosing Pit Boys. Marla was awesome right from the start. There were so many options for sides and everything was all just very flexible. We had a whole pig (honestly, this is a really fun idea for a casual wedding) as well as bbq chicken, potatoes, salads, etc, plus Pit Boys arranged and served the wine and beer as well. All very low stress. Everything turned out wonderfully and Marla and her team were amazing on the night - friendly, helpful, responsive - they made sure that everything went smoothly and that everyone was well fed! We're very happy we had Pit Boys as our caterer and would recommend them to anyone wanting awesome barbecue for their event!

  The food wasn't as presentable for the cost. They used iceberg lettuce instead of Romane. The food was seasoned well. For the cost per plate the food could have been better quality. Also the recommended gratuity was $600 for 3 servers buffet style ontop of actual per plate cost. That's insane. Luckily it was suggested and not a must. We ended up tipping about $250 we went over our budget in the end but nothing too extreme

  Edible experience

  The food was (meh) very bland. The taste test was better than the food on our wedding day. The price we paid for it, it shouldn't have been mediocre.

  AWFUL catering

  Caterers were disorganized, beef chewy, paid over $500.00 FOR A Bowl of pretzel bits, called it a pretzel bar. They had good aptizeers. That was the best thing about them. Lost part of deposit because they did not put chairs away. Do not use
