Amazing Work
Piper Brown Photography did such an amazing job for our wedding! Morayo was a pleasure to work with; she is professional, funny, comforting and attended to every request we had. We met multiple times before and after the wedding and she made the entire process easy and enjoyable. We did engagement photos months prior to the wedding and knew immediately that we had made the perfect choice for our photographer. Morayo made us feel so comforatable and at ease to just be ourselves and that calmness shined through in all of the photos. On the wedding day her experience was invaluable as she helped guide us, the weding party and all family and friends through the day. She captured the magic of each moment from start to finsih. We just recieved our hard bound wedding album and it is stunning; truly a piece of art that we can share with our familes and each other for the rest of our lives.

Fun to Work With
When I met Morayo at a bridal show what struck me about her body of work was how vivid, happy and RELAXED everyone was in their pictures. After working with her, I now know why. She was a blast to work with!! As someone who doesn't like having their picture taken I felt completely at ease with Mo. From our engagement session and our wedding we have two sets of amazing photos that completely capture how my husband and I feel about each other and the mood of the day. I couldn't be happier with how our wedding photos turned out. She even ran across a parking lot covered in a trash bag in the pouring rain to capture the one image I truly wanted from my day. All that effort was worth it because the image she captured was spectacular. My only problem is there are so many great photos I have trouble picking which ones are my favorite!!! -

Morayo and her team at Piper Brown have the experience, creativity and critical eye for wedding and event photography. From the start, Morayo walked us through her process and timeline. Given the stress any wedding causes, the photography side was handled masterfully. Nearing the big day, Morayo had her team reach out for introductions and preparations and from start to finish - and the ad hoc in the moment shots that were not planned - we are very happy and satisfied with how everything came out with Piper Brown Photography. We were initially worried that they would be booked and their website indicated they were high level to cater to the biggest budgets, but somehow we got lucky with our late timing and our mid-sized smaller budget. In addition, Piper Brown offers diverse representation and inclusivity for all their clients, which is an important need for Rhode Island and the region in general. Thanks so much! -

Proposal/Engagement Photos

Going into wedding planning, I knew I needed an amazing photographer. After the food has been consumed and the music had ended, you’re left with the photos of your special day. These are the photos you’ll be looking at with your family and friends for years to come, the ones that will become a part of yours and your families decor. I knew I wanted someone creative enough to envision the shots and talented and experienced enough to pull it off. I found that with Piper Brown Photography.
But what I realized on in wedding day was how much personality mattered. First of all, I would never hire a vendor I didn’t like, no matter how good they were at their job. But I felt that Mo and I clicked right from the beginning. What I didn’t realize was just how big of a part of your photographer played on wedding day. It’s so much more that taking photos. They’re with you the entire time to create and capture all those special moments. She was there for all the laughter and all the tears. But it was more than that. She was also there to keep our large family on task during portrait shots. She was there to calm me and helped my mom with my veil when I was on the verge of a meltdown. She was there to make us laugh and smile at all the right moments so even our portraits looked candid. She was there with a quick wit whenever I seemed forlorn about the fact that it rained on our wedding day (I know, I know, it’s good luck) and canceled my plans for an outdoor cliffside ceremony at the venue I picked because of its picturesque views. And somehow, she was able to turn that same rain that erased those amazing views, and used it to create the most breathtaking shots.
I heard the food was good and the cake was delicious. I remember the DJ being great. I receiver so many compliments on my gorgeous bridal bouquet and our charismatic Officient. But months later, it’s the photos that I look at every day that never fail to make my breath catch and take me back to relive all the moments of that special day. -

Mo was an absolute pleasure to work with from the pre-wedding planning through the actual day of and review of our photos. We had initially booked a different photographer for a May 2020 wedding but when we had to postpone our wedding to October 2021 due to COVID, we also had to find a new photographer. We loved Mo’s style and she was extremely responsive as soon as we reached out to her. She was very straightforward and simple with her explanation of pricing/services offered and it never felt like she was trying to sell us anything we didn’t need or want. She made sure she understood our vision for the day and the photos and then helped develop a photographer bundle that worked within our budget. She was very organized and when we felt very comfortable with the photography plan leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was an absolute hit! My husband and I had already grown to love her, but all of the wedding party, family and friends remarked on how fun and energetic she was. She made us all feel very comfortable during the photos and made sure we were enjoying ourselves as well. She did a really nice job with organizing the types and timing of photos to minimize the time we spent away from the cocktail hour and the party. The pictures themselves turned out fantastic - we absolutely love them and will cherish them forever. There are also A TON of them, which allows us to relive the day through photos!
My only critique was the timing of receiving the photos after the wedding. I know it was a busy fall/winter wedding season for Mo, so much of this may have been out of her control. We had an initial meeting set up to review our photos about 4 weeks after the wedding. We unfortunately had to reschedule and weren’t able to get another meeting with her until about 10 weeks after the wedding. We were just so anxious to see the photos!
Overall it was a phenomenal experience working with Mo and she really did help make our celebration so so special. I would highly recommend her to any family member or loved one looking for a photographer! -

My partner and I are pretty camera-shy, but Mo kept us both laughing, engaged, and relaxed, which was especially helpful because our engagement shoot location was very busy!
She also assessed our wedding day location really well and snuck in a super cute picture of our rings. We didn't even know about it until we got the full album - it's one of our favorites! All of the photos are BEAUTIFUL, you will not regret hiring Mo. -

Great photographer - best choice you can make!
I met Mo at a bridal expo and fell in love with her style of photography. I loved the realness of her pictures. I did not want to have wedding pictures that were extremely retouched and didn’t look like me.
After booking with Mo, I realized that she is also just amazing to work with! Mo had us cracking up during our engagement session and the photos look great! We rarely take pictures of ourselves - so we were starting out extremely awkward. With her talent, our engagement pictures turned out really great! It was so helpful to work with her prior to the wedding - I definitely encourage doing the engagement photos with her!
During our wedding, Mo managed to capture everything that I had hoped for! I heard great things about her from many of my guests - everyone loved her! Choosing her as our photographer was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! -

If you are taking on the daunting task of planning your own wedding, sometimes the process of selecting vendors and meeting with them can add to that stress. Morayo however is one vendor who will take your stress away. Mo is one of the best people we have met and she went above and beyond all our expectations. She truly has a gift when it comes to capturing all your perfect moments. When I first met her she showed us a brilliant selection of the work she has done and explained how she works, she is funny and interactive. She can help even the shyest of brides, like me, come out of their shell so they can truly work the camera and become the star you are meant to be on your wedding day. Her prices for a couple on a budget were also incredibly reasonable; especially since her work is priceless. We purchased a package that included an engagement photo session and she met us on time and was ready to get right into taking our photos. The entire experience moved smoothly, she even had us laughing and got us to loosen up. If you aren’t a natural diva don’t worry she will show you how to stand where to put your hands the whole nine, you never have to worry about looking bad in one of her photos. When it finally came time for the wedding day I had her up with me in my bridal suite taking some photos before the big event. I was honestly so nervous and didn’t know what to do with myself that she helped me overcome this; she played music to lighten up the atmosphere made jokes and even gave me something to focus my energy on so all my nerves washed away. Aside from being a photographer she also helped adjust my the train on my dress and with her eagle eyes helped find the bustle on my own dress and on my sister’s dress. My family even loved her with my mother and sister saying “she’s cool.” Her photos were gorgeous and I love everything she was able to do for me on that day. Morayo was able to provide us a sneak peak of her work before she released all the photos which help any bride who has anxiety about how everything looked, this is a huge plus. She captured everything I was looking for when it came to my photos the venue, my cake, rings, dress, guests and most importantly my entire family. I honestly would recommend this woman to anyone I know getting married or even looking for someone to do Christmas cards. She is simply the best, I could not be happier. -

When my husband and I first sent out emails to potential photographers Morayo was the only one (of many) to send back an incredibly thoughtful, personalized response addressing all of our questions. Communication with her via email and phone was easy! Not only is she very professional but she is also kind, laid back, and easy to talk to! My husband and I got ready for our wedding in Providence at the Biltmore and it was at Morayo's suggestion that we had our family and formal portraits on the staircase in front of the Biltmore's glass elevator. So glad she had the experience to suggest this location because the pictures I have seen so far on the blog are gorgeous!
I gave her a heads up before the wedding that my husband and I tend to be camera shy. She (and her assistant) completely understood our needs. During the formal portraits she kept the mood upbeat and actually made it pretty fun all while making sure the images were coming out wonderfully (seriously, from what I have seen the lighting in our images is great.) Aside from the formal portraits she was present at the ceremony and reception but besides making minor adjustments to poses or lighting kept the pictures casual and candid. We just received an email that our image gallery is ready and we can not wait to take a look at all the pictures!
Overall, I highly recommend Morayo for your wedding day! -

How do I begin to review Mo and Piper Brown Photography? I don’t think my husband and I could have chosen a better photographer for our wedding at Lakeview Pavilion on February 23, 2019! Mo is awesome! Her prices are reasonable and has packages to fit pretty much any budget. She is professional, but has such a laid-back, fun personality and is so easy to work with. We did our engagement shots with her on one of the hottest days of the year, and she took it all in stride. Even though we were all melting into puddles from the oppressive heat, you would never be able to tell that in our photos. Before our big day, we met with Mo to go over a list of all of the special shots that we wanted to include that day. On our actual wedding day, Mo arrived with the second photographer we requested, Kayla Hendrick from Bright Light Imagery, on time and kept a low profile while taking photographs. They only stepped in occasionally to ask us to pose for a picture or to get specific shots we requested. Also, formal photography can be uncomfortable, but Mo kept us laughing to lighten the mood and told us exactly how to pose to get the right angles. Her fun personality continued during the reception where she took photos of everything and was right out on the dance floor getting all of the action shots of the guests. About 3 weeks after our wedding, we received all of the photos from that night! There were almost 900 photos to go through but it was so much fun to relive the best night of our lives.
I also want to give a shout out to Mo’s assistant, Aidan. He is a polite, professional young man and did a wonderful job taking semi-formal and group shots that we requested, some right on the spot. Thank you all for making our wedding a dream come true and for taking the most beautiful pictures for us to have for years to come!

Amazing!
This review is LONG overdue and much deserved. I honestly can’t thank Mo enough for the incredible job she had done with our wedding photos August, 2018 (I said this was long overdue). Not only did Mo capture our day perfectly, she also did it last minute! We originally had another photographer booked, but the week of our wedding, our photographer broke her leg. I know, it’s crazy and I felt terrible for our photographer. Mo stepped right in and it was like we were working with her all along! She was super organized (I was not), she knew exactly what we wanted and did it was such ease and grace, and she knew exactly how to work with our large, crazy families. She was so patient, kind, and understanding, and it was a fantastic experience overall. -

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Morayo and Piperbrown Photography! Initially, I had put a posting on a Facebook wedding group looking for a photographer for our wedding in September and Morayo responded. After looking at her portfolio, I knew she was the photographer for us. And let me tell you, we were not disappointed! She meshed well with our personalities and is absolutely one of the sweetest people out there. She was extremely professional and all of our photos are AMAZING!! She mailed us our photos one a flash drive, packaged in the most adorable way and even printed out a few photos! I would recommend hiring her for your ANY of your photo needs! -

Wonderful!
Morayo is incredible. I’m brown and my husband is white, so we specifically sought a wedding photographer who could photograph very dark-skinned people and very light-skinned people in the same photograph without losing one of the people (many photographers are surprisingly terrible at this!). I took a quick peek at Morayo’s website filled with beautiful, flattering photographs of people of all different colors and knew she was our person. She had her work cut out with us. I am SUPER uncomfortable with PDA, and also make weird faces when I’m uncomfortable, but at our engagement session she somehow captured the most beautiful, natural photos of the two of us. At the wedding she captured all of the small moments, and all of the joy on everyone’s faces. She incredibly talented, bubbly, funny, and makes every effort to get the perfect photograph. She is the secret Wonder Woman of the photography world. Thank you Mo! -
